| 1 | Design,modeling,and control of morphing aircraft:A review显示文摘A morphing aircraft can adapt its configuration to suit different types of tasks,which is also an important requirement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV).The successful development of an unmanned morphing aircraft involves three steps that determine its ability and intelligent:configuration design,dynamic modeling and flight control.This study conducts a comprehensive survey of morphing aircraft.First,the methods to design the configuration of a morphing aircraft are presented and analyzed.Then,the nonlinear dynamic characteristics and aerodynamic interference caused by a morphing wing are described.Subsequently,the dynamic modeling and flight control methods for solving the flight control problems are summarized with respect to these features.Finally,the general as well as special challenges ahead of the development of intelligent morphing aircraft are discussed.The findings can provide a theoretical and technical reference for designing future morphing aircraft or morphing-wing UAVs. | Lingling CHU Qi LI Feng GU Xintian DU Yuqing HE Yangchen DENG | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,5: | 16 |
| 2 | Aerosol light absorption in a coastal city in Southeast China:Temporal variations and implications for brown carbon显示文摘Light-absorbing carbonaceous aerosols including black carbon(BC) and brown carbon(BrC)play significant roles in atmospheric radiative properties. One-year measurements of aerosol light absorption at multi-wavelength were continuously conducted in Xiamen,southeast of China in 2014 to determine the light absorption properties including absorption coefficients(σabs) and absorption ?ngstr?m exponent(AAE) in the coastal city.Light absorptions of BC and BrC with their contributions to total light absorption were further quantified. Mean σabsat 370 nm and 880 nm were 56.6 ± 34.3 and 16.5 ± 11.2 Mm-1,respectively. σabspresented a double-peaks diurnal pattern with the maximum in the morning and the minimum in the afternoon. σabswas low in warm seasons and high in cold seasons. AAE ranged from 0.26 to 2.58 with the annual mean of 1.46, implying that both fossil fuel combustion and biomass burning influenced aerosol optical properties. σabsof BrC at 370 nm was 24.0 ± 5.7 Mm-1, contributing 42% to the total absorption. The highest AAE(1.52 ± 0.02) and largest BrC contributions(47% ± 4%) in winter suggested the significant influence of biomass burning on aerosol light absorption. Long-distance air masses passing through North China Plain and the Yangtze River Delta led to high AAE and BrC contributions. High AAE value of 1.46 in July indicated that long-range transport of the air pollutants from intense biomass burning in Southeast Asia would affect aerosol light absorption in Southeast China. | 4 | Electro-optic tuning of a single-frequencyultranarrow linewidth microdisk laser显示文摘Single-frequency ultranarrow linewidth on-chip microlasers with a fast wavelength tunability play a game-changing role in a broad spectrum of applications ranging from coherent communication,light detection and ranging,to metrology and sensing.Design and fabrication of such light sources remain a challenge due to the difficulties in making a laser cavity that has an ultrahigh optical quality(Q)factor and supports only a single lasing frequency simultaneously.Here,we demonstrate a unique single-frequency ultranarrow linewidth lasing mechanism on an erbium ion-doped lithium niobate(LN)microdisk through simultaneous excitation of high-Q polygon modes at both pump and laser wavelengths.As the polygon modes are sparse within the optical gain bandwidth compared with the whispering gallery mode counterpart,while their Q factors(above 10 million)are even higher due to the significantly reduced scattering on their propagation paths,single-frequency lasing with a linewidth as narrow as 322 Hz is observed.The measured linewidth is three orders of magnitude narrower than the previous record in on-chip LN microlasers.Finally,enabled by the strong linear electro-optic effect of LN,real-time electro-optical tuning of the microlaser with a high tuning efficiency of∼50 pm∕100 V is demonstrated. | Jintian Lin Saeed Farajollahi Zhiwei Fang Ni Yao Renhong Gao Jianglin Guan Li Deng Tao Lu Min Wang Haisu Zhang Wei Fang Lingling Qiao Ya Cheng | 2022 | Advanced Photonics2022,4,3: | 4 |

| 6 | Impact of total organic carbon and chlorine to ammonia ratio on nitrification in a bench-scale drinking water distribution system显示文摘Nitrification occurs in chloraminated drinking water systems and is affected by water quality parameters.The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of total organic carbon and chlorine to ammonia ratio on nitrification potential in a simulated drinking water distribution system as during chloramination.The occurrence of nitrification and activity of nitrifying bacteria was primarily monitored using four rotating annular bioreactors(RAB)with different chlorine to ammonia ratios and total organic carbon(TOC)levels.The results indicated that nitrification occurred despite at a low influent concentration of ammonia,and a high concentration of nitrite nitrogen was detected in the effluent.The study illustrated that reactors 1(R1)and 3(R3),with higher TOC levels,produced more nitrite nitrogen,which was consistent with the ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB)counts,and was linked to a relatively more rapid decay of chloramines in comparison to their counterparts(R2 and R4).The AOB and HPC counts were correlated during the biofilm formation with the establishment of nitrification.Biofilm AOB abundance was also higher in the high TOC reactors compared with the low TOC reactors.The chlorine to ammonia ratio did not have a significant impact on the occurrence of nitrification.Bulk water with a high TOC level supported the occurrence of nitrification,and AOB development occurred at all examined chlorine to ammonia dose ratios(3:1 or 5:1). | Yongji ZHANG Lingling ZHOU Guo ZENG Huiping DENG Guibai LI | 2010 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2010,4,4: | 3 |

Their physicochemical properties were investigated using FT-IR, TEM,powder XRD, VSM, TGA, DLS and zeta potential. We found that CA-IONP dispersion was composed of monocrystalline particles while CS-IONP and FA-g-CS-IONP were composed of polycrystalline aggregates. All IONPs retained the crystalline structure of magnetite and exhibited the superparamagnetic behavior. Their saturation magnetization decreased with the increase in the amount of their organic coatings. Their drug loading capacities, drug release patterns and in vitro anticancer efficiencies were studied by using doxorubicin(DOX) as a model drug. DOX@CS-IONP and DOX@FA-g-CSIONP exhibited lower drug loading while showing higher water dispersity when compared with DOX@CA-IONP. All IONPs were surface charged and they tended to agglomerate in medium with high pH value and ionic strength. In the presence of chitosan or FA-g-CS coatings, their DOX release rate was slowed down compared with that of DOX@CA-IONP. Unloaded IONPs exhibited nearly no cytotoxicity on both cancer cells and normal cells in the presence of chitosan and FA-g-CS when compared with CA-IONP which presented high cytotoxicity. However, DOX@FA-g-CS-IONP showed significantly cytotoxicity on folate receptors(FRs) positive breast cancer cells while exhibiting nearly no cytotoxicity on FRs negative normal cells. | 8 | Antisense Oligonucleotide Targeting TGF-β1 Abrogates Tumorigenicity of Rhabdomyosarcoma in vivo显示文摘OBJECTIVE Over-expression of transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1)has been observed in many advanced cancers. The present study was aimed at developing potential antisense oligonucleotides(ASONs)to repress TGF-β1 expression in rhabdomyosarcoma(RMS)RD cells,and to examine their effect on tumorigenicity of RD cells in vivo. METHODS ASONs targeting the region surrounding the start codon of TGF-β1 were synthesized and transferred into cells in the form of complexes with Lipofectamine 2000.The TGF-β1 protein was determined by immunofluorescence and ELISA. The cell viability and cell cycle were examined by MTT and flow cytometry.The RD cells,with or without TGF-β1ASON,in 50μ1 of serum-free EMDM medium were injected subcutaneously into the right flank of nude mice.The tumors were then measured and weighed. RESULTS The ASON sequence targeting the first start site at bases 841-855 of the human TGF-β1 gene had the greatest effect on attenuating the expression of TGF-β1(P<0.05).The ASONs induced a decrease in OD values after 6 d(P<0.05).Analvsis of the cell cycle revealed that the ASON induced a significant decrease in cells in the S phase and an increase in cells in the G1 phase(P<0.05).In the nude mice model,the mean tumor volume,after 2 weeks of treatment with Lipofectamine or ASON, decreased to 88.5% or 55% respectively,compared to the control tumor size,resulting in a significant difference(P<0.01). | 9 | Antibody-engineered red blood cell interface for high-performance capture and release of circulating tumor cells显示文摘Circulating tumor cells(CTCs),as important liquid biopsy target,can provide valuable information for cancer progress monitoring and individualized treatment.However,current isolation platforms incapable of balancing capture efficiency,specificity,cell viability,and gentle release have restricted the clinical applications of CTCs.Herein,inspired by the structure and functional merits of natural membrane interfaces,we established an antibody-engineered red blood cell(RBC-Ab)affinity interface on microfluidic chip for high-performance isolation and release of CTCs.The lateral fluidity,pliability,and anti-adhesion property of the RBC microfluidic interface enabled efficient CTCs capture(96.5%),high CTCs viability(96.1%),and high CTCs purity(average 4.2-log depletion of leukocytes).More importantly,selective lysis of RBCs by simply changing the salt concentration was utilized to destroy the affinity interface for efficient and gentle release of CTCs without nucleic acid contamination.Using this chip,CTCs were successfully detected in colon cancer samples with 90%sensitivity and 100%specificity(20 patients and 10 healthy individuals).After the release process,KRAS gene mutations of CTCs were identified from all the 5 cancer samples,which was consistent with the results of tissue biopsy.We expect this RBC interface strategy will inspire further biomimetic interface construction for rare cell analysis. | Haicong Shen Rui Su Jiao Peng Lin Zhu Kunyue Deng Qi Niu Yanling Song Liu Yang Lingling Wu Zhi Zhu Chaoyong Yang | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,5: | 1 |
| 10 | Generation and control of dynamically tunable circular Pearcey beams with annular spiral-zone phase显示文摘Light-field shaping technology plays an important role in optics and nanophotonics. For instance, the spatially structured light field, which exhibits characteristic features in complex phases, light intensity, and polarization, is crucial to understanding new physical phenomena and exploring practical applications. Herein, we propose and demonstrate a new class of tunable circular Pearcey beams(TCPBs) by imposing the annular spiral-zone phase(ASZP). Through experiments, we used a spatial light modulator to generate TCPBs based on their spiral phase distribution, and numerically analyzed the generation and control of the beams with unusual autofocusing and self-rotating dynamics. ASZP is a general term for complex phases composed of the spiral phase,equiphase, and radial phase. TCPB typically exhibits dynamical properties, including abrupt autofocusing, automatic generation of optical bottles, and self-rotation of the beam pattern, during propagation. Besides, the number of generated optical bottles can be modulated by the superposition mode of ASZP and the number of subphases. We found that an inappropriate superposition mode leads to distortion, and we analyzed the underlying mechanism. | 11 | Comparative phosphoproteomic analysis of BR-defective mutant reveals a key role of GhSK13 in regulating cotton fiber development显示文摘Brassinosteroid(BR), a steroid phytohormone, whose signaling transduction pathways include a series of phosphorylation and dephosphorylation events, and GSK3 s are the main negative regulator kinases. BRs have been shown to play vital roles in cotton fiber elongation. However, the underlying mechanism is still elusive. In this study, fibers of a BR-defective mutant Pagoda 1(pag1), and its corresponding wild-type(ZM24) were selected for a comparative global phosphoproteome analysis at critical developmental time points: fast-growing stage(10 days after pollination(DPA)) and secondary cell wall synthesis stage(20DPA). Based on the substrate characteristics of GSK3, 900 potential substrates were identified. Their GO and KEGG annotation results suggest that BR functions in fiber development by regulating GhSKs(GSK3s of Gossypium hirsutum L.) involved microtubule cytoskeleton organization, and pathways of glucose, sucrose and lipid metabolism. Further experimental results revealed that among the GhSK members identified, GhSK13 not only plays a role in BR signaling pathway, but also functions in developing fiber by respectively interacting with an AP2-like ethylene-responsive factor GhAP2L, a nuclear transcription factor GhDNFYB19, and a homeodomain zipper member GhHDZ5. | 17 | An antibody cocktail with broadened mutational resistance and effective protection against SARS-CoV-2显示文摘Neutralizing antibodies have been proven to be highly effective in treating mild and moderate COVID-19 patients,but continuous emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants poses significant challenges.Antibody cocktail treatments reduce the risk of escape mutants and resistance.In this study,a new cocktail composed of two highly potent neutralizing antibodies(HB27 and H89Y)was developed,whose binding epitope is different from those cocktails that received emergency use authorization.This cocktail showed more potent and balanced neutralizing activities(IC_(50)0.9–11.3 ng mL^(-1))against a broad spectrum of SARS-CoV-2 variants over individual HB27 or H89Y antibodies.Furthermore,the cocktail conferred more effective protection against the SARS-CoV-2 Beta variant in an aged murine model than monotherapy.It was shown to prevent SARS-CoV-2 mutational escape in vitro and effectively neutralize 61 types of pseudoviruses harbouring single amino acid mutation originated from variants and escape strains of Bamlanivimab,Casirivimab and Imdevimab with IC_(50)of 0.6–65 ng mL^(-1).Despite its breadth of variant neutralization,the HB27+H89Y combo and EUA cocktails lost their potencies against Omicron variant.Our results provide important insights that new antibody cocktails covering different epitopes are valuable tools to counter virus mutation and escape,highlighting the need to search for more conserved epitopes to combat Omicron. | Chunyun Sun Hang Chi Fei Yuan Jing Li Ji Yang Aihua Zheng Fei Wang Lingling Sun Yanjing Zhang Ping Hu Lihua Jiao Yongqiang Deng Liangzhi Xie | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Immune cell membrane-based biomimetic nanomedicine for treating cancer metastasis显示文摘Metastasis is the leading cause of cancer-related death.Despite extensive treatment,the prognosis for patients with metastatic cancer remains poor.In addition to conventional surgical resection,radiotherapy,immunotherapy,chemotherapy,and targeted therapy,various nanobiomaterials have attracted attention for their enhanced antitumor performance and low off-target effects.However,nanomedicines exhibit certain limitations in clinical applications,such as rapid clearance from the body,low biological stability,and poor targeting ability.Biomimetic methods utilize the natural biomembrane to mimic or hybridize nanoparticles and circumvent some of these limitations.Considering the involvement of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment of the metastatic cascade,biomimetic methods using immune cell membranes have been proposed with unique tumor-homing ability and high biocompatibility.In this review,we explore the impact of immune cells on various processes of tumor metastasis.Furthermore,we summarize the synthesis and applications of immune cell membrane-based nanocarriers increasing therapeutic efficacy against cancer metastases via immune evasion,prolonged circulation,enhanced tumor accumulation,and immunosuppression of the tumor microenvironment.Moreover,we describe the prospects and existing challenges in clinical translation. | Lingling Zhu Xianzhe Yu Ting Cao Hanyu Deng Xiaojun Tang Qing Lin Qinghua Zhou | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6: | 0 |
