| 1 | Polysaccharide extracts of Astragalus membranaceus and Atractylodes macrocephala promote intestinal epithelial cell migration by activating the polyamine-mediated K^+ channel显示文摘Astragalus membranaceus(Radix Astragali, RA) and Atractylodes macrocephala(Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, RAM) are often used to treat gastrointestinal diseases. In the present study, we determined the effects of polysaccharides extracts from these two herbs on IEC-6 cell migration and explored the potential underlying mechanisms. A migration model with IEC-6 cells was induced using a single-edged razor blade along the diameter of cell layers in six-well polystyrene plates. The cells were grown in control--media or media containing spermidine(5 μmol·L^(-1), SPD), alpha-difluoromethylornithine(2.5 mmol·L^(-1), DFMO), 4-Aminopyridine-(40 μ-mol·L^(-1), 4-AP), the polysaccharide extracts of RA or RAM(50, 100, or 200 mg·L^(-1)), DFMO plus SPD, or DFMO plus polysaccharide extracts of RA or RAM for 12 or 24 h. Next, cytosolic free Ca^(2+)([Ca^(2+)]cyt) was measured using laser confocal microscopy, and cellular polyamine content was quantified with HPLC. Kv1.1 mRNA expression was assessed using RT-qPCR and Kv1.1 and RhoA protein expressions were measured with Western blotting analysis. A cell migration assay was carried out using Image-Pro Plus software. In addition, GC-MS was introduced to analyze the monosaccharide composition of both polysaccharide extracts. The resutls showed that treatment with polysaccharide extracts of RA or RAM significantly increased cellular polyamine content, elevated [Ca^(2+)]cyt and accelerated migration of IEC-6 cells, compared with the controls(P < 0.01). Polysaccharide extracts not only reversed the inhibitory effects of DFMO on cellular polyamine content and [Ca^(2+)]cyt, but also restored IEC-6 cell migration to control level(P < 0.01 or < 0.05). Kv1.1 mRNA and protein expressions were increased(P < 0.05) after polysaccharide extract treatment in polyamine-deficient IEC-6 cells and RhoA protein expression was increased. Molar ratios of D-ribose, D-arabinose, L-rhamnose, D-mannose, D-glucose, and D-galactose was 1.0:14.1:0.3:19.9:181.3:6.3 in RA and 1.0:4.3:0.1:5.7:2.8:2.2 in RAM. | 3 | A BLIND SNR ESTIMATOR FOR DIGITAL BANDPASS SIGNALS显示文摘A subspace-based blind Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) estimation algorithm for digital bandpass signals in Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel is discussed. The lower bounds of the mean and variance of the estimation are derived, and simulations are performed for the commonly used digital bandpass signals, such as MPSK (M=2, 4, 8), MFSK (M=2, 4) and MQAM (M=16, 64, 128, 256) signals. Theoretical analyses and simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is ef- fective even when the SNR is below 0dB. | 5 | Activation of Uterine Smad3 Pathway Is Crucial for Embryo Implantation显示文摘Embryo implantation is a complicated physiological process tightly regulated by multiple biological molecules including growth factors.Transforming growth factor-betas(TGF-βs)and their most specific signal transduction factors,Smads,are expressed in the endometrium during the window of implantation.Recent researches indicated that Smad dependent TGF-β signaling may play an important role in the process of embryo implantation.In this study,we measured the expression of TGF-β1,TGF-β receptor type I(TpRI),Smad3 and p-Smad3 in the endometrium of mice and observed their elevation on day 4,5 and 6 of pseudopregnancy.Then we administrated a specific Smad3 inhibitor(Sis3)into the uterine cavity of mice on day 3 of pregnancy.The results showed a reduction in insulin-like growth factor-1(IGFBP-1)expression and the decreased number of implanted embryo after the administration.In addition,Sis3 was found to reduce the IGFBP-1 secretion in decidualized endometrial stromal cells.Taken all together,our findings demonstrated that TGF-β/Smad3 signaling is involved in the process of embryo implantation. | Juan LI Xi-yuan DONG Pei-wen YANG Shu-lin YANG Dan HU Han-wang ZHANG Cong SUI | 2019 | Current Medical Science2019,39,6: | 3 |

| 7 | Improvement of Wired Drill Pipe Data Quality via Data Validation and Reconciliation显示文摘Wired drill pipe(WDP)technology is one of the most promising data acquisition technologies in today s oil and gas industry.For the first time it allows sensors to be positioned along the drill string which enables collecting and transmitting valuable data not only from the bottom hole assembly(BHA),but also along the entire length of the wellbore to the drill floor.The technology has received industry acceptance as a viable alternative to the typical logging while drilling(LWD)method.Recently more and more WDP applications can be found in the challenging drilling environments around the world,leading to many innovations to the industry.Nevertheless most of the data acquired from WDP can be noisy and in some circumstances of very poor quality.Diverse factors contribute to the poor data quality.Most common sources include mis-calibrated sensors,sensor drifting,errors during data transmission,or some abnormal conditions in the well,etc.The challenge of improving the data quality has attracted more and more focus from many researchers during the past decade.This paper has proposed a promising solution to address such challenge by making corrections of the raw WDP data and estimating unmeasurable parameters to reveal downhole behaviors.An advanced data processing method,data validation and reconciliation(DVR)has been employed,which makes use of the redundant data from multiple WDP sensors to filter/remove the noise from the measurements and ensures the coherence of all sensors and models.Moreover it has the ability to distinguish the accurate measurements from the inaccurate ones.In addition,the data with improved quality can be used for estimating some crucial parameters in the drilling process which are unmeasurable in the first place,hence provide better model calibrations for integrated well planning and realtime operations. | Dan Sui Olha Sukhoboka Bernt Sigve Aadn?y | 2018 | International Journal of Automation and computing2018,15,5: | 2 |

Selective hydrogenation of o-chloronitrobenzene to ochloroaniline was performed on the as-prepared Pt/Al2O3 nanocatalyst without using any solvent and 88.5% selectivity to o-chloroaniline at98.2% conversion of o-chloronitrobenzene was achieved. Further catalytic experiments with metal cation modification showed that some metal cations could improve the activity in various degrees while maintaining the high selectivity. The hierarchical macroporous–mesoporous silica films are synthesized by using zinc oxide nanorod array as macroporous template and CTAB surfactant as mesoporous template. In basic surfactant-containing solution, ordered mesoporous silica shells homogeneously grow on the zinc oxide nanorod array. The growth of the mesostructures do not require any chemical modification for the zinc oxide nanorod, which opens a new way for preparing hierarchical silica films with perpendicular mesochannels. The prepared hierarchical macroporous–mesoporous silica films possess a uniform thickness of 2μm, large perpendicular macropores with a length of 1.8μm and a width of 80 nm, and accessible ordered mesopores. | 20 | Microstructure and properties of LZQT600-3 HCCDIBs for plunger pump cylinder显示文摘It is important to improve the comprehensive performance of the ductile iron bars(DIBs)for the cylinder block of the extra high pressure hydraulic plunger pump and accelerate the industrial application.In this work,the LZQT600-3 DIBs with the diameter of 145 mm were prepared by the horizontal continuous casting(HCC)process,that is,LZQT600-3 HCCDIBs.The microstructure and room temperature tensile properties of different sections[left-edge(surface layer),left-1/2R(left half of the radius),and the center of the HCCDIBs]were studied.The results show that the spheroidization of LZQT600-3 HCCDIBs matrix from the left-edge,left-1/2R to the center is at nodulizing grade II and above.As the cooling rate gradually decreases from surface to the center of the HCCIBs,the number of spheroidized graphite is gradually reduced,the size is gradually increased,the shape factor is decreased,and the pearlite content and lamellate spacing are increased.Along the horizontal direction of the section,the hardness of the material is distributed symmetrically around the center of the HCCDIBs.In the vertical direction,the hardness distribution in the center of the HCCDIBs is asymmetrical due to the gravity during the solidification process.Therefore,the microstructure in the lower part of the section solidifies relatively quickly.The left-edge has the best tensile mechanical properties,and the ultimate tensile strength,yield tensile strength and elongation are 597.3 MPa,418.5 MPa and 9.6%,respectively.The tensile fracture belongs to the ductile-brittle hybrid fracture.The comprehensive performances of LZQT600-3 HCCDIBs meet the actual application requirements of ultra-high pressure hydraulic plunger pump cylinder. | Chun-jie Xu Yuan-ying Jin Dong Ma Zhen Zhao Jia-wei Qi Shang Sui Xiang-quan Wu Can Guo Zhong-ming Zhang Yong-hui Liu Dan Shechtman | 2024 | China Foundry2024,21,2: | 0 |
