2Eleutheroside B or E enhances learning and memory in experimentally aged rats显示文摘Eleutheroside B or E, the main component of Acanthopanax, can relieve fatigue, enhance memory, and improve human cognition. Numerous studies have confirmed that high doses of acetylcholine significantly attenuate clinical symptoms and delay the progression of Alzheimer's disease. The present study replicated a rat model of aging induced by injecting quinolinic acid into the hippocampal CA1 region. These rats were intraperitoneally injected with low, medium and high doses of eleutheroside B or E (50, 100, 200 mg/kg), and rats injected with Huperzine A or PBS were used as controls. At 4 weeks after administration, behavioral tests showed that the escape latencies and errors in searching for the platform in a Morris water maze were dose-dependently reduced in rats treated with medium and high-dose eleutheroside B or E. Hematoxylin-eosin staining showed that the number of surviving hippocampal neurons was greater and pathological injury was milder in three eleutheroside B or E groups compared with model group. Hippocampal homogenates showed enhanced cholinesterase activity, and dose-dependent increases in acetylcholine content and decreases in choline content following eleutheroside B or E treatment, similar to those seen in the Huperzine A group. These findings indicate that eleutheroside B or E improves learning and memory in aged rats. These effects of eleutheroside B or E may be mediated by activation of cholinesterase or enhanced reuse of choline to accelerate the synthesis of acetylcholine in hippocampal neurons.Debin Huang Zehua Hu Zhaofen Yu 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,12:8

4Vertical Graphenes Grown on a Flexible Graphite Paper as an All-Carbon Current Collector towards Stable Li Deposition显示文摘Lithium(Li)metal has been regarded as one of the most promising anode materials to meet the urgent requirements for the next-generation high-energy density batteries.However,the practical use of lithium metal anode is hindered by the uncontrolled growth of Li dendrites,resulting in poor cycling stability and severe safety issues.Herein,vertical graphene(VG)film grown on graphite paper(GP)as an all-carbon current collector was utilized to regulate the uniform Li nucleation and suppress the growth of dendrites.The high surface area VG grown on GP not only reduces the local current density to the uniform electric field but also allows fast ion transport to homogenize the ion gradients,thus regulating the Li deposition to suppress the dendrite growth.The Li deposition can be further guided with the lithiation reaction between graphite paper and Li metal,which helps to increase lithiophilicity and reduce the Li nucleation barrier as well as the overpotential.As a result,the VG film-based anode demonstrates a stable cycling performance at a current density higher than 5mAcm^(-2)in half cells and a small hysteresis of 50mV at 1mAcm^(-2)in symmetric cells.This work provides an efficient strategy for the rational design of highly stable Li metal anodes.Zhijia Huang Debin Kong Yunbo Zhang Yaqian Deng Guangmin Zhou Chen Zhang Feiyu Kang Wei Lv Quan-Hong Yang 2020Research2020,,1:3

7An Interactive Intuitionistic Fuzzy Method for Multilevel Linear Programming Problems显示文摘In this paper, we propose an interactive method for solving the multilevel linear programming problems based on the intuitionistic fuzzy set theory. Firstly, the membership function and the non-membership function are introduced to describe the uncertainty of the decision makers. Secondly, a satisfactory solution is derived by updating the minimum satisfactory degrees with considerations of the overall satisfactory balance among all levels. In addition, the steps of the proposed method are given in this paper. 10Deployment and Exploration of a Gas Storage Well Pattern Based on the Threshold Radius显示文摘To tackle the problem that wells that are deployed in a specific pattern based on the requirements of gas reservoir development are not suitable for gas storage,we have conducted concentrically circular injection and production simulation experiments for gas storage,discovered the existence of a threshold radius,denoted by Rt,and derived the expression for Rt.Based on the analysis and discussion results,we propose a strategy for deploying gas storage wells in specific patterns.The expression for Rt shows that it is affected by factors such as the gas storage gas production/injection time,the upper pressure limit,the lower pressure limit,the bottomhole flow pressure at the ends of injection and production,the and permeability.The analysis and discussion results show that the Rt of a gas storage facility is much smaller than the Rt for gas reservoir development.In the gas storage facilities in China,the Rt for gas production is less than the Rt for the gas injection,and Rt increases with the difference in the operating pressure and with permeability K.Based on the characteristics of Rt,we propose three suggestions for gas storage well pattern deployment:(1)calculate Rt according to the designed functions of the gas storage facility and deploy the well pattern according to Rt;(2)deploy sparser,large-wellbore patterns in high-permeability areas and denser,small-wellbore patterns in high-permeability areas;and(3)achieve the gas injection well pattern by new drilling,and the gas production well pattern through a combination of the gas injection well pattern and old wells.By assessing a gas storage facility with a perfect well pattern after a number of adjustments,we found that the Rt of the 12 wells calculated in this paper is basically close to the corresponding actual radius,which validates our method.The results of this study provide a methodological basis for well pattern deployment in new gas storage construction.TANG Ligen ZHU Weiyao ZHU Huayin SUN Chunhui YANG Fenglai WANG Yan Li Xiaorui Li Haiming CHU Guangzhen WANG Jieming KONG Debin YUE Ming LIU Yuwei HUANG Kun 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,2:1

19An orientated mass transfer in Ni-Cu tandem nanofibers for highly selective reduction of CO_(2) to ethanol显示文摘Electrochemically reducing CO_(2)to ethanol is attractive but suffers from poor selectivity.Tandem catalysis that integrates the activation of CO_(2)to an intermediate using one active site and the subsequent formation of hydrocarbons on the other site offers a promising approach,where the control of the intermediate transfer between different catalytic sites is challenging.We propose an internally self-feeding mechanism that relies on the orientation of the mass transfer in a hierarchical structure and demonstrate it using a one-dimensional(1D)tandem core-shell catalyst.Specifically,the carbon-coated Ni-core(Ni/C)catalyzes the transformation of CO_(2)-to-CO,after which the CO intermediates are guided to diffuse to the carbon-coated Cu-shell(Cu/C)and experience the selective reduction to ethanol,realizing the orientated key intermediate transfer.Results show that the Faradaic efficiency for ethanol was 18.2%at-1 V vs.RHE(V_(RHE))for up to 100 h.The following mechanism study supports the hypothesis that the CO_(2)reduction on Ni/C generates CO,which is further reduced to ethanol on Cu/C sites.Density functional theory calculations suggest a combined effect of the availability of CO intermediate in Ni/C core and the dimerization of key∗CO intermediates,as well as the subsequent proton-electron transfer process on the Cu/C shell.Xiaoxiong Huang Debin Kong Yingjie Ma Bin Luo Bin Wang Linjie Zhi 2023Fundamental Research2023,3,5:0
20A compact MIMO automotive radar using phase-aligned daisy-chain cascading topology and elevation compensation for 2D angle estimation显示文摘To design a high-performance multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)automotive radar system with simple hardware architecture,this study presents a daisy-chain cascading design scheme,implementing the two-dimensional(2D)nonuniform antenna array with high-gain antennas for 2D angle estimation.The improvements in the designed radar system are primarily divided into three parts.First,a daisy-chain cascading topology will cause severe phase deviations;hence,we rigorously analyzed the influence of the phase deviations and proposed a low-cost phase-alignment procedure to address this concern.Second,to obtain 2D angular resolution and a longer working range with limited channels,a novel 2D antenna array design principle facilitating the arrangement of high-gain antennas was presented.Third,a new phase compensation procedure was developed to mitigate the deterioration of angular accuracy in the elevation plane.Based on the proposed design scheme,a frequency-modulated continuous-wave(FMCW)radar prototype with two transceiver chips,i.e.,six transmitters and eight receivers,was successfully built.The prototype radar system’s performance was tested through an anechoic chamber and outdoor experiments.Consequently,an angular resolution of 3.5°in azimuth and 12.5°in elevation was featured in the anechoic chamber.Furthermore,using the 2D conventional beam-forming,the outdoor experiment captured high-resolution 2D angular estimation results,thus demonstrating the superior performance of the designed prototype system.Rui ZHOU Jixin CHEN Yan HUANG Gang XU Debin HOU Bangjie ZHANG Zekun LI Yu XIANG Wei HONG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,6:0
