| 4 | Coordination of glycerol utilization and clavulanic acid biosynthesis to improve clavulanic acid production in Streptomyces clavuligerus显示文摘The glycerol utilization (gyl) operon is involved in clavulanic acid (CA) production by Streptomyces clavuligerus, and possibly supplies the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (G3P) precursor for CA biosynthesis. The gyl operon is regulated by GylR and is induced by glycerol. To enhance CA production in S. clavuligerus, an extra copy of ccaR expressed from Pgyl (the gyl promoter) was integrated into the chromosome of S. clavuligerus NRRL 3585. This construct coordinated the transcription of CA biosynthetic pathway genes with expression of the gyl operon. In the transformants carrying the Pgyl-controlled regulatory gene ccaR, CA production was enhanced 3.19-fold in glycerol-enriched batch cultures, relative to the control strain carrying an extra copy of ccaR controlled by its own promoter (PccaR). | 5 | Methane coupling in microwave plasma under atmospheric pressure显示文摘Methane coupling in microwave plasma under atmospheric pressure has been investigated.The effects of molar ratio n(CH4)/n(H2),flow rate and microwave power on the reaction have been studied.(1)With the decrease of n(CH4)/n(H2)ratio,methane conversion,C2 hydrocarbon yield,energy yield and space-time yield of acetylene increased,but the yield of carbon deposit decreased.(2)With the increase of microwave power,energy yield of acetylene decreased,but space-time yield of acetylene increased.(3)With the increase of flow rate,energy yield and space-time yield of acetylene increased first and then decreased.Finally,under the reaction conditions of CH4 flow rate of 700 mL/min,n(CH4)/n(H2)ratio of 1/4 and microwave power of 400 W,the energy yield and space-time yield of acetylene could reach 0.337 mmol/kJ and 12.3 mol/(s m3),respectively.The reaction mechanism of methane coupling in microwave plasma has been investigated based on the thermodynamics of chemical reaction.Interestingly,the acetylene yield of methane coupling in microwave plasma was much higher than the maximum thermodynamic yield of acetylene.This phenomenon was tentatively explained from non-expansion work in the microwave plasma system. | Changsheng Shen Dekun Sun Hongsheng Yang | 2011 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,4: | 2 |
| 6 | Screwdriver-like Pd-Ag heterostructures formed via selective deposition of Ag on Pd nanowires as efficient photocatalysts for solvent-free aerobic oxidation of toluene显示文摘Heterostructured bimetal nanocrystals with a component having localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)property are promising photocatalysts for a series of reactions.In this work,kinetic products of Pd-Ag with a screwdriver-like heterostructure have been successfully fabricated via the selective epitaxial growth of Ag on Pd nanowires(NWs).It was confirmed that the deposition rate(Vdeposition)of Ag is much more sensitive to the temperature,compared to the surface diffusion rate(Vdiffusion)which can be effectively reduced by the binding of poly(vinylpyrrolidone)(PVP)molecules.Then the magnitude of Vdeposition/Vdiffusion has been well tailored for the formation of a kinetic growth environment.The interactions between the components of the as-prepared Pd-Ag heterostructures resulted in intensified LSPR effects.As a result,they gained better photocatalytic performance toward solvent free aerobic oxidation of toluene than Pd NWs,Ag NWs and the mixture of them.Additionally,the Pd-Ag heterostructured nanocrystals exhibited excellent catalytic stability for recycling.This work not only presents an idea for realizing kinetic growth but also supports that LSPR effect is a good tool for improving the photocatalytic activity. | Caihong He Lingli Yu Na Lu Wenjing Wang Wei Chen Shaojie Lu Yun Yang Dekun Ma Shaoming Huang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,3: | 2 |
| 7 | (Parallel) kinetic resolution of 3,3-disubstituted indolines via organocatalyzed reactions with azodicarboxylates显示文摘A novel kinetic resolution(KR) method has been developed for 3,3-disubstituted indolines, whose catalytic asymmetric synthesis remains a significant challenge in organic synthesis. The key to the success of this KR protocol lies in the utilization of chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed triazane formation reaction with azodicarboxylates, which enables the enantioselective synthesis of various substituted indolines bearing C3-quaternary stereocenters with good to high enantioselectivities(with sfactors up to 70). Moreover, an intriguing parallel kinetic resolution(PKR) has been developed by combining triazane formation and dehydrogenation reactions using different azodicarboxylates. Experimental studies have provided insight into the mechanism of this PKR reaction, demonstrating stereoselectivity in both triazane formation and dehydrogenation steps, favoring the opposite enantiomers. | 10 | Nondestructive monitoring of annealing and chemical-mechanical planarization behavior using ellipsometry and deep learning显示文摘The Cu-flling process in through-silicon via(TSV-Cu)is a key technology for chip stacking and three-dimensional vertical packaging.During this process,defects resulting from chemical-mechanical planarization(CMP)and annealing severely affect the reliability of the chips.Traditional methods of defect characterization are destructive and cumbersome.In this study,a new defect inspection method was developed using Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometry.TSV-Cu with a 3-μm-diameter and 8-μm-deep Cu filling showed three typical types of characteristics:overdishing(defect-OD),protrusion(defect-P),and defect-free.The process dimension for each defect was 13 nm.First,the three typical defects caused by CMP and annealing were investigated.With single-channel deep learning and a Mueller matrix element(MME),the TSV-Cu defect types could be distinguished with an accuracy rate of 99.94%.Next,seven effective MMEs were used as independent channels in the artificial neural network to quantify the height variation in the Cu flling in the z-direction.The accuracy rate was 98.92%after training,and the recognition accuracy reached 1 nm.The proposed approach rapidly and nondestructively evaluates the annealing bonding performance of CMP processes,which can improve the reliability of high-density integration. | Qimeng Sun Dekun Yang Tianjian Liu Jianhong Liu Shizhao Wang Sizhou Hu Sheng Liu Yi Song | 2023 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,2: | 0 |

| 13 | Effect of Directional Stretching on Properties of PVA-HA-PAA Composite Hydrogel显示文摘Polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)hydrogels with excellent characteristics are considered as promising cartilage replacement materials.However,there are still some main issues to be solved for PVA hydrogel,such as poor mechanical strength and disordered structure.Inspired by the highly ordered structure of biological soft tissues such as articular cartilage,here,we prepared a high-strength but anisotropic polyvinyl alcohol-nanohydroxyapatite-polyacrylic acid(PVA-HA-PAA)composite hydrogel by directional stretching,freezing–thawing,and annealing method.Stretching of an as-prepared isotropic PVA-HA-PAA composite hydrogel leads to the orientation of PVA crystallites and PVA chains,which enables the formation of ordered structure and more hydrogen bonds via freezing under stretching.The microstructure,water content,swelling and creep performance,tensile and bio-tribology properties of the composite hydrogel are studied,the results indicated that the properties of the hydrogel are aff ected by stretching due to the formation of ordered structure in the anisotropic hydrogel.For instance,the elastic modulus and tensile strength of the anisotropic hydrogel reach 5.703 MPa and 18.958 MPa,respectively,which is significantly enhanced by comparing with isotropic hydrogel.Moreover,the friction property is anisotropic,and the Coefficient Of Friction(COF)reduced in the parallel direction.Thus,this work provides a simple and practicable strategy to design strong and anisotropic hydrogels for potential applications in biomedical materials such as cartilage substitute. | Kai Chen Qin Chen Tian Zong Siyu Liu Xuehui Yang Yong Luo Dekun Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,5: | 0 |
