4Coupled trace element and SIMS sulfur isotope geochemistry of sedimentary pyrite:Implications on pyrite growth of Caixiashan Pb-Zn deposit显示文摘Colloform pyrite with core-rim texture is commonly deposited in carbonate platforms associated with the sulfide ores such as the Caixiashan Pb-Zn deposit.However,the genesis of colloform pyrite in Pb-Zn deposits,its growth controls and their geological implication are insufficiently understood.Integration of in-situ trace element and SIMS sulfur isotopes has revealed geochemical variations among these pyrite layers.These colloform pyrite occur as residual phases of core-rim aggregates,the cores are made up of very fine-grained anhedral pyrite particles,with some rims being made up of fine-grained and poorlycrystallized pyrite,while the other rims were featured with euhedral cubic pyrite.which are cemented by fine-grained calcite and/or dolomite with minor quartz.Sulfur isotope analysis shows that some wellpreserved rims have negative δ^34 S values(-28.12‰to-0.49‰),whereas most of the cores and rims have positive δ^34 S values(>0 to+44.28‰;peak at+14.91‰).Integrating with the methane and sulfate were observed in previous fluid inclusion study,we suggest that the 34 S depleted rims were initially formed by bacteria sulfate reduction(BSR),whereas the positive δ^34 S values were resulted from the sulfate reduction driven by anaerobic methane oxidation(AOM).The well-developed authigenic pyrite and calcite may also support the reaction of AOM.Combined with petrographic observations,trace element composition of the colloform pyrite reveals the incorporation and precipitation behavior of those high abundance elements in the pyrite:Pb and Zn were present as mineral inclusion and likely precipitated before Fe,as supported by the time-resolved Pb-Zn signal spikes in most of the analyzed pyrite grains.Other metals,such as Hg,Co and Ni,may have migrated as chloride complexes and entered the pyrite lattice.Arsenic and Sb,generally influenced by complex-forming reactions rather than substitution ones,could also enter the pyrite lattice,or slightly predate the precipitation of colloform pyrite as mineral inclusions,which are controlled by their hydrolysis constant in the ore fluids.The colloform pyrite may have grown inward from the rims.The successive BSR reaction process would enrich H^32/2S in the overlying water column but reduce the metal content,the nucleation of these pyrite rims was featured by strongly negative sulfur isotopes.The following AOM process should be activated by deformation like the turbidity sediment of the mudstone as the sulfide deposition are associated with fault activities that caused the emission of methane migration upward and simultaneously replenishing the metal in the column.The higher AOM reaction rate and the higher metal supply(not only Fe.but with minor other metals such as Pb and Zn) caused by sediment movement enhanced the metal concentration within the pyrite lattice.Dengfeng Li Huayong Chen Xiaoming Sun Yu Fu Qiaofen Liu Xiaoping Xia Qing Yang 2019Geoscience Frontiers2019,10,6:4
5Hydrothermal synthesis of monodisperse α-Fe_2O_3 hexagonal platelets显示文摘Uniformly sized α-Fe2O3 hexagonal platelets were synthesized by a hydrothermal process using Fe(OH)3 suspension and large amount of NaOH.The reaction products were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),selected area electron diffraction(SAED),and a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).The results show that the hexagonal platelets are fine,monodisperse and consisting of single-crystals.The magnetic hysteresis(M-H) curve of the samples measured at room temperature indicates that the α-Fe2O3 micro-platelets exhibit ferromagnetic behaviors with relatively low coercivity.Dengfeng Peng Sadeh Beysen Qiang Li Yanfei Sun Linyu Yang 2010Particuology2010,8,4:4

7Micro-rocket robot with all-optic actuating and tracking in blood显示文摘Micro/nanorobots have long been expected to reach all parts of the human body through blood vessels for medical treatment or surgery.However,in the current stage,it is still challenging to drive a microrobot in viscous media at high speed and difficult to observe the shape and position of a single microrobot once it enters the bloodstream.Here,we propose a new micro-rocket robot and an all-optic driving and imaging system that can actuate and track it in blood with microscale resolution.To achieve a high driving force,we engineer the microrobot to have a rocket-like tripletube structure.Owing to the interface design,the 3D-printed micro-rocket can reach a moving speed of 2.8 mm/s(62 body lengths per second)under near-infrared light actuation in a blood-mimicking viscous glycerol solution.We also show that the micro-rocket robot is successfully tracked at a 3.2-μm resolution with an optical-resolution photoacoustic microscope in blood.This work paves the way for microrobot design,actuation,and tracking in the blood environment,which may broaden the scope of microrobotic applications in the biomedical field.Dengfeng Li Chao Liu Yuanyuan Yang Lidai Wang Yajing Shen 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:3
8Controlled fabrication, lasing behavior and excitonic recombination dynamics in single crystal CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite cuboids显示文摘As a direct bandgap semiconductor, organic-inorganic lead halide perovskite (MAPbX3, MA = CH3NH3, X =Cl, Br, I) have been considered as promising materials for laser due to their excellent optoelectronic properties. The perovskite materials with ID and 2D shapes were widely prepared and studied for Fabry-Perot mode and whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microcavities, but cuboid-shape is rarely reported. In this work, we successfully fabricated single crystal cuboid-shaped MAPbBr3 perovskite w让h different morphologies, named microcuboid-MAPbBr3 (M-MAPbBr3) and multi-step-MAPbBr3 (MSMAPbBr3), via solvothermal method. Furthermore, the as-prepared *crystals excitonic recombination lifetime under different pumping energy density was studied by time-resolved photoiuminescence (TRPL). 9Different n-6/n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid ratios affect postprandial metabolism in normal and hypertriglyceridemic rats显示文摘Postprandial metabolism plays major roles in many pathological conditions.The n-6/n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA)ratio is closely related to various physiological disorders.This study aimed to investigate the effects of high fat meals with different n-6/n-3 PUFA ratios on postprandial metabolism in normal control(NC)and hypertriglyceridemia(HTG)rats.The postprandial response of triglyceride(TG)in HTG groups was higher than that in NC groups after different n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio meals.The HTG groups showed higher postprandial total cholesterol(TC)responses than NC groups after 1:1 and 20:1 ratio meals.The 5:1 n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio elicited lower postprandial responses of tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α)than 1:1 and 10:1 ratios in HTG groups.The postprandial malondialdehyde(MDA)response was lower after a 5:1 n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio meal than 1:1 and 20:1 ratio meals in HTG groups.The 1:1 ratio resulted in a lower postprandial reactive oxygen species(ROS)level than 5:1 and 10:1 n-6/n-3 PUFA ratios in NC groups.The results showed that a low n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio improved postprandial dysmetabolism induced by a high fat meal in NC and HTG rats.A high n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio increased the difference in postprandial metabolism between NC and HTG rats.Ligang Yang Chao Yang Zhixiu Song Min Wan Hui Xia Xian Yang Dengfeng Xu Da Pan Hechun Liu Shaokang Wang Guiju Sun 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,4:1

12Additive manufacturing of metallic glasses and high-entropy alloys:Significance,unsettled issues,and future directions显示文摘As two kinds of well-known prominent high-performance alloys,metallic glasses(MGs)and high-entropy alloys(HEAs)have attracted increasing attention.Most of them contain multiple alloying components,demonstrate intriguing microstructures,and exhibit excellent properties;however,their unique performances are closely dependent on the fabrication process,although they are limited due to the need for rapid solidification during fabrication.On the other hand,additive manufacturing(AM)can be used to fabricate complex parts via rapid solidification,thus saving materials.These advantages provide AM with a great possibility to produce MG and HEA materials with tunable microstructures therefore properties,and corresponding parts with complex geometries,large dimensions,and more functions.This paper provides a comprehensive and systematic overview of the manufacturing and properties of MGs and HEAs using AM techniques.The correlation between MGs and HEAs with conventional manufacturing meth-ods and the difficulties encountered are retrospectively discussed.Afterward,this review specifically focuses on the recent research advances in MGs and HEAs fabricated using AM technologies.Then,various properties of the AM-fabricated MGs and HEAs are discussed.Finally,the remaining issues and potential solutions,challenges,and future directions on the AM of MGs and HEAs are also presented.Haishun Liu Dengfeng Yang Qi Jiang Yangyang Jiang Weiming Yang Lin Liu Lai-Chang Zhang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,9:1
13Accelerated design of lead-free high-performance piezoelectric ceramics with high accuracy via machine learning显示文摘The piezoelectric performance serves as the basis for the applications of piezoelectric ceramics.The ability to rapidly and accurately predict the piezoelectric coefficient(d_(33))is of much practical importance for exploring high-performance piezoelectric ceramics.In this work,a data-driven approach combining feature engineering,statistical learning,machine learning(ML),experimental design,and synthesis is trialed to investigate its accuracy in predicting d_(33) of potassium-sodium-niobate(K,Na)NbO_(3),KNN)-based ceramics.The atomic radius(AR),valence electron distance(DV)(Schubert),Martynov-Batsanov electronegativity(EN-MB),and absolute electronegativity(EN)are summarized as the four most representative features in describing d_(33) out of all 27 possible features for the piezoelectric ceramics.These four features contribute greatly to regression learning for predicting d_(33) and classification learning for distinguishing polymorphic phase boundary(PPB).The ML method developed in this work exhibits a high accuracy in predicting d_(33) of the piezoelectric ceramics.An example of KNN combined with 6 mo1%LiNbO_(3)demonstrates d_(33)3 of 184 pC/N,which is highly consistent with the predicted result.This work proposes a novel feature-oriented guideline for accelerating the design of piezoelectric ceramic systems with large d_(33),which is expected to be widely used in other functional materials.Wei Gu Bin Yang Dengfeng Li Xunzhong Shang Zhiyong Zhou Jinming Guo 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,7:0
14Muscle-inspired soft robots based on bilateral dielectric elastomer actuators显示文摘Muscle groups perform their functions in the human body via bilateral muscle actuation,which brings bionic inspiration to artificial robot design.Building soft robotic systems with artificial muscles and multiple control dimensions could be an effective means to develop highly controllable soft robots.Here,we report a bilateral actuator with a bilateral deformation function similar to that of a muscle group that can be used for soft robots.To construct this bilateral actuator,a low-cost VHB 4910 dielectric elastomer was selected as the artificial muscle,and polymer films manufactured with specific shapes served as the actuator frame.By end-to-end connecting these bilateral actuators,a gear-shaped 3D soft robot with diverse motion capabilities could be developed,benefiting from adjustable actuation combinations.Lying on the ground with all feet on the ground,a crawling soft robot with dexterous movement along multiple directions was realized.Moreover,the directional steering was instantaneous and efficient.With two feet standing on the ground,it also acted as a rolling soft robot that can achieve bidirectional rolling motion and climbing motion on a 2°slope.Finally,inspired by the orbicularis oris muscle in the mouth,a mouthlike soft robot that could bite and grab objects 5.3 times of its body weight was demonstrated.The bidirectional function of a single actuator and the various combination modes among multiple actuators together allow the soft robots to exhibit diverse functionalities and flexibility,which provides a very valuable reference for the design of highly controllable soft robots.Yale Yang Dengfeng Li Yanhua Sun Mengge Wu Jingyou Su Ying Li Xinge Yu Lu Li Junsheng Yu 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,5:0
15The role of surface charges in the blinking mechanisms and quantum-confined Stark effect of single colloidal quantum dots显示文摘The two frequently observed phenomena,photoluminescence(PL)blinking and quantum-confined Stark effect(QCSE)-induced spectral diffusion,are not conducive to the applications of colloidal quantum dots(QDs).It remains elusive how these two phenomena are linked to each other.Unraveling the potential link between blinking and QCSE could facilitate the adoption of appropriate strategies that can simultaneously suppress both PL blinking and spectral diffusion.In this work,we investigated the blinking mechanism and QCSE of single CdSe/CdS/ZnS QDs in the presence of positive and negative surface charges using single-dot PL spectroscopy.We found that the negative surface charges can simultaneously suppress PL blinking and spectral diffusion of single QDs.On the other hand,the positive surface charges could change the blinking mechanisms of QDs from Auger-blinking to band-edge carrier(BC)-blinking.Two types of QCSE were observed,and a significant QCSE-induced spectral broadening of 5.25 nm was measured,which could be attributed to the hopping of surface charges between different surface-trap sites.Based on these findings,several theoretical models are proposed to explain various phenomena observed.Jialu Li Dengfeng Wang Guofeng Zhang Changgang Yang Wenli Guo Xue Han Xiuqing Bai Ruiyun Chen Chengbing Qin Jianyong Hu Liantuan Xiao Suotang Jia 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0

18Pyramiding of multiple genes generates rapeseed introgression lines with clubroot and herbicide resistance, high oleic acid content, and early maturity显示文摘Clubroot and herbicide resistance,high oleic acid(OA)content,and early maturity are targets of rapeseed(Brassica napus L.)breeding.The objective of this study was to develop new male-fertility restorer lines by pyramiding favorable genes to improve these traits simultaneously.Seven elite alleles for the four traits were introduced into the restorer line 621R by speed breeding with marker-assisted and phenotypic selection.Six introgression lines(ILs)were developed with four-to seven-gene combinations and crossed with two elite parents to develop hybrids.All ILs and their corresponding hybrids displayed high resistance to both clubroot pathotype 4 and sulfonylurea herbicides.Three ILs and their hybrids showed large increases in OA contents and four showed earlier maturity.These new ILs may be useful in rapeseed hybrid breeding for the target traits.Zhaoyang Wang Fucai Wang Zihan Yu Xiaorui Shi Xianming Zhou Pengfei Wang Yixian Song Dengfeng Hong Guangsheng Yang 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,3:0

20Incidence of Major Adverse Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Events in Chinese Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Iodixanol: An Observational Postauthorization Study显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events(MACCEs)and overall safety profile associated with iodixanol in Chinese patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Patients at 30 centers in China registered in the OpenClinic v3.6 database from October 30,2013,to October 7,2015,were included in the study.The primary endpoint was in-hospital MACCEs including target lesion revascularization(TLR),stroke,stent thrombosis,cardiac death,and PCI-related myocardial infarction(MI)within 72 h post-PCI.Secondary endpoints were MACCEs from 72 h to 30 d post-PCI and other safety events within 30 d post-PCI.Results:A total of 3,042 patients were enrolled.The incidence of MACCEs within 72 h post-PCI was 2.33%(n=71),including cardiac death(0.03%,n=1)and PCI-related MI(2.30%,n=70).The incidence of MACCEs from 72 h to 30 d post-PCI was 0.16%(n=5),including cardiac death(0.10%,n=3),PCI-related MI(0.03%,n=1),and TLR for stent thrombosis(0.03%,n=1).The incidence of composite angiographic or procedural complications was 2.86%(n=87);233(7.86%)patients had results suggesting contrast-induced acute kidney injury.Conclusions:These findings indicate that the use of iodixanol in Chinese patients undergoing PCI is associated with a low incidence of MACCEs,confirming its safety in this population.Xiaozeng Wang Dengfeng Ma Tianchang Li Bao Li Xi Su Yanqing Wu Zhimin Du Zheng Ji Ping Yang Baisong Yang Xuebin Cao Junxia Li Fengxia Hou Ziping Cheng Banglong Xu Yaling Han 2023Cardiology Discovery2023,3,2:0
