1Different quasispecies with great mutations hide in the same subgroup J field strain of avian leukosis virus显示文摘Blood samples were collected from a local strain of chickens associated with serious tumor cases in Shandong Province.The samples were inoculated into chicken embryo fibroblast and DF-1 cells for virus isolation and identification,respectively.The inoculated cells were screened for three common chicken tumor viruses.Nine strains of avian leukosis virus subgroup J(ALV-J) were identified,and were designated LY1201‐LY1209.The env gene from the LY1201 strain was amplified and cloned.All nine resultant env clones(clones 01-09) were sequenced,and the gp85 and gp37 amino acid regions were subjected to homology analysis.Clones 01 and 03 had 10 amino acid deletions in the gp85 region compared to the other seven clones,suggesting that at least two quasispecies with obvious mutations coexist in the same field strain.Among these nine clones,three had identical gp85 and gp37 sequences,and were recognized as the dominant LY1201 quasispecies.The amino acid sequence homology of gp37 and gp85 among the nine clones was 98.5%-100.0% and 96.6%-100.0% respectively,suggesting that the gp85 region of the env gene can better display the quasispecies diversity of ALV-J than gp37.MAO YaQing LI WeiHua DONG Xuan LIU JinHua ZHAO Peng 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,5:6

7Quantum microwave photonics in radio-over-fiber systems显示文摘As the main branch of microwave photonics,radio-over-fiber technology provides high bandwidth,low-loss,and long-distance propagation capability,facilitating wide applications ranging from telecommunication to wireless networks.With ultrashort pulses as the optical carrier,a large capacity is further endowed.However,the wide bandwidth of ultrashort pulses results in the severe vulnerability of high-frequency radio frequency(RF)signals to fiber dispersion.With a time-energy entangled biphoton source as the optical carrier combined with the singlephoton detection technique,a quantum microwave photonics method in radio-over-fiber systems is proposed and demonstrated experimentally.The results show that it not only realizes unprecedented nonlocal RF signal modulation with strong resistance to the dispersion but also provides an alternative mechanism to distill the RF signal out from the dispersion effectively.Furthermore,the spurious-free dynamic ranges of the nonlocally modulated and distilled RF signals have been significantly improved.With the ultra-weak detection and the high-speed processing advantages endowed by the low-timing-jitter single-photon detection,the quantum microwave photonics method opens new possibilities in modern communication and networks.YAQING JIN YE YANG HUIBO HONG XIAO XIANG RUNAI QUAN TAO LIU SHOUGANG ZHANG NINGHUA ZHU MING LI RUIFANG DONG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,7:0

9Climate change in the Hongliujing area of Lop Nur over the past 200 years revealed by the stable oxygen isotopes of Tamarix cones显示文摘The layers of Tamarix cones within sedimentary deposits in arid regions have significant chronological and paleoenvironmental implications.Here,we compare the δ^(18)O values of Tamarix cones in the Hongliujing area of Lop Nur with meteorological data for the Ruoqiang meteorological station for 1960-2019 AD.Linear regression analysis was used to reconstruct the average temperature for April and the precipitation for November in the Hongliujing area over the past 200 years.The results showed that the δ^(18)O values were significantly negatively correlated with the temperature for February,April,May,August,December,and with the annual mean temperature;significantly negatively correlated with the precipitation for February and April;significantly negatively correlated with the sunshine hours for March and May;significantly positively correlated with the sunshine hours for February,July,August,October,and December,and with the annual mean values;and significantly correlated with the relative humidity for April,July,August,September,October,and November,and with the annual mean values.Based on the δ^(18)O record of the past 200 years,the Hongliujing area experienced two warm-wet periods(1874-1932 and 2004-2019 AD)and two cold-dry periods(1832–1873 and 1933-2003 AD).Thus,the climate was characterized by alternating warm-wet and cold-dry conditions.Wavelet analysis revealed three main cycles:45 years,29 years,and 14 years.Zhiguang LI Yaqing DONG Haoyu ZHANG Hongxiao SUN Danyang JIA Shikai SONG Yuanjie ZHAO 2023Frontiers of Earth Science2023,17,4:0
10Surpassing the classical limit of the microwave photonic frequency fading effect by quantum microwave photonics显示文摘With energy-time entangled biphoton sources as the optical carrier and time-correlated single-photon detection for high-speed radio frequency(RF)signal recovery,the method of quantum microwave photonics(QMWP)has presented the unprecedented potential of nonlocal RF signal encoding and efficient RF signal distilling from the dispersion interference associated with ultrashort pulse carriers.In this paper,its capability in microwave signal processing and prospective superiority are further demonstrated.Both QMWP RF phase shifting and transversal filtering functionality,which are the fundamental building blocks of microwave signal processing,are realized.Besides good immunity to the dispersion-induced frequency fading effect associated with the broadband carrier in classical MWP,a native two-dimensional parallel microwave signal processor is provided.These results well demonstrate the superiority of QMWP over classical MWP and open the door to new application fields of MWP involving encrypted processing.YAQING JIN YE YANG HUIBO HONG XIAO XIANG RUN'AI QUAN TAO LIU NINGHUA ZHU MING LI SHOUGANG ZHANG RUIFANG DONG 2023Photonics Research2023,11,6:0
11Solvent induced enhancement of nonlinear optical response of graphdiyne显示文摘Flat and crystalline materials with exceptional nonlinear optical(NLO) properties are highly desirable for their potential applications in integrated NLO photonic devices.Graphdiyne(GD),a new twodimensional(2 D) carbon allotrope,has recently evoked burgeoning research attention by virtue of its tunable bandgap along with a high carrier mobility and extended π-conjugation compared with most conventional optical materials.Here,we experimentally probe the third-order nonlinear optical response of GD dispersed in several common solvents(alcohols) using a femtosecond Z-scan technique.The measured nonlinear optical refractive index is in the order of ~10^(-8) cm^(2)/W,which is approximately one order of magnitude higher than that of most 2 D materials.In particular,we find that different NLO responses can be observed from GD when dispersed in different solvents,with the strongest NLO response when dispersed in 1-propanol.It is proposed that some intrinsic properties of the solvents,such as the polarity and viscosity,could influence the NLO response of GD materials.Our experimental results confirm the assumptions on the NLO behavior in GD and demonstrate its great potential for future generations of Kerr-effect-based NLO materials and devices.Yuze Dong Sergey Semin Yaqing Feng Jialiang Xu Theo Rasing 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1:0
