1Optimum Weight Design of Functionally Graded Material Gears显示文摘Traditional gear weight optimization methods consider gear tooth number, module, face width or other dimension parameters of gear as design variables. However, due to the complicated form and geometric features peculiar to the gear, there will be large amounts of design parameters in gear design, and the influences of gear parameters changing on gear trains, transmission system and the whole equipment have to be taken into account, which increases the complexity of optimization problem. This paper puts forward to apply functionally graded materials(FGMs) to gears and then conduct the optimization. According to the force situation of gears, the material distribution form of FGM gears is determined. Then based on the performance parameters analysis of FGMs and the practical working demands for gears, a multi-objective optimization model is formed. Finally by using the goal driven optimization(GDO) method, the optimal material distribution is achieved, which makes gear weight and the maximum deformation be minimum and the maximum bending stress do not exceed the allowable stress. As an example, the applying of FGM to automotive transmission gear is conducted to illustrate the optimization design process and the result shows that under the condition of keeping the normal working performance of gear, the method achieves in greatly reducing the gear weight. 2Molecular Epidemiology of Klebsiella pneumoniae from Clinical Bovine Mastitis in Northern Area of China,2018–2019显示文摘Klebsiella pneumoniae(K.pneumonia,KpⅠ)is a predominate inducement of bovine mastitis,which is associated with high mortality and milk yield reduction.However,data is lacking on the molecular characteristics of bovine K.pneumoniae,limiting the risk assessment of its transmission through the food chain.Herein,we investigated the prevalence of K.pneumoniae in 6301 clinical mastitis(CM)milk samples from dairy cattle in northern area of China.In total,183 K.pneumoniae isolates were recovered,with detection rates of 3.0% and 2.8% in 2018 and 2019,respectively.Like human clinical K.pneumoniae,all CM K.pneumoniae isolates belonged to one of three phylogroups:KpⅠ(n=143),Klebsiella.quasipneumoniae subsp.similipneumoniae(KpⅡ-B)(n=37),and Klebsiella variicola(KpⅢ)(n=3).We detected the extendedspectrum β-lactamase-encoding genes bla_(SHV-2a),blac_(CTX-M-14),and bla_(CTX-M-15),as well as clpC,lpfA,lacI,lacZ,lacY,and the fecABDEIR operon in the KpⅠ isolates,which may contribute to their pathogenicity and host adaptability in cows.The high prevalence of KpⅠ in dairy farms may be problematic,as it showed relatively higher rates of antibiotic resistance and virulence gene carriage than the KpⅡ-B and KpⅢ isolates.Furthermore,we observed distinct differences in population structure between CM-and human infection-associated KpⅠ isolates,with the genes associated with invasive infection in humans rarely being observed in bovine isolates,indicating that few CM-associated K.pneumoniae isolates pose a threat to human health.Nevertheless,bovine KpⅡ-B isolates shared a high level of nucleotide sequence identity with isolates from human infections and frequently carried the nitrogen-fixation gene nif,suggesting an association between KpⅡ-B isolates from cattle and humans,and plant-derived bacteria.Shikai Song Wenjuan He Dawei Yang Manar Benmouffok Yao Wang Jiyun Li Chengtao Sun Xiangbin Song Shizhen Ma Chang Cai Shuangyang Ding Congming Wu Zhangqi Shen Yang Wang 2022Engineering2022,8,3:1

4Achieving high thermoelectric performance through carrier concentration optimization and energy filtering in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)-based materials显示文摘The previous works commonly adjust the carrier concentration through acceptor doping,but at the same time,the decrease of the Seebeck coefficient limits the further improvement of electrical properties in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)-based materials.In this work,a microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis method was used to synthesize Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)/TiO_(2) hollow microspheres.Part of TiO_(2) participates in the reaction,replaces the Sb site of Cu_(3)SbSe_(4) to form holes,and the rest is dispersed in the matrix in the form of the second phase.The first-principles calculations reveal that the doping of Ti significantly changes the band structure and phonon spectrum,thereby regulating carrier concentration while increasing phonon scattering.In addition,experimental results show that the energy filtering effect generated by the extra-mixed TiO_(2) nano particles,which suppresses the decrease of Seebeck coefficient by acceptor doping.Consequently,the highest average power factor 897.5 mW m^(-1) K^(-2) and the zT peak value of 0.70 can be obtained in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4)/6%TiO_(2) sample at 298e623 K.This work provides a new sight to improve the thermoelectric properties in Cu_(3)SbSe_(4) through carrier concentration regulation and nano-phase composition.Sitong Wei Boyi Wang Zipei Zhang Wenhao Li Lu Yu Shikai Wei Zhen Ji Weiyu Song Shuqi Zheng 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5:1

7Enhanced thermoelectric performance in n-type Mg_(3.2)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) doping with lanthanides at the Mg site显示文摘Mg-based thermoelectric materials have attracted more and more attention because of their rich composition elements,green environmental protection,and lower price.In recent years,the thermoelectric properties of n-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2) materials have been optimized by doping chalcogenide elements(S,Se,and Te)at the anionic position.In this work,n-type Mg_(3.2)A_(x)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5)(A=Gd,Ho;x=0.01,0.02,0.03,and 0.4)samples were prepared by the cation site doping of lanthanide elements(Gd and Ho).The research results show that Gd and Ho doped n-type Mg3.2Sb1.5Bi0.5samples are entirely comparable to the S,Se,and Te doped n-type Mg3.2Sb1.5Bi0.5samples,demonstrating more excellent thermoelectric properties.Doping with lanthanides(Gd and Ho)at the Mg site increases the carrier concentration of the material to 8.161×10^(19)cm^(-3).Doping induces the contribution of more electron,thus obtaining higher conductivity.The maximum zT value of the Mg_(3.2)Gd_(0.02)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) and the Mg_(3.2)Ho_(0.02)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) samples reaches 1.61 and 1.55,respectively.This work theoretically and experimentally demonstrates Gd and Ho are efficient n-type dopants for Mg_(3.2)Sb_(1.5)Bi_(0.5) thermoelectric material.Lu Yu Zipei Zhang Juan Li Wenhao Li Shikai Wei Sitong Wei Guiwu Lu Weiyu Song Shuqi Zheng 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32:0
8Climate change in the Hongliujing area of Lop Nur over the past 200 years revealed by the stable oxygen isotopes of Tamarix cones显示文摘The layers of Tamarix cones within sedimentary deposits in arid regions have significant chronological and paleoenvironmental implications.Here,we compare the δ^(18)O values of Tamarix cones in the Hongliujing area of Lop Nur with meteorological data for the Ruoqiang meteorological station for 1960-2019 AD.Linear regression analysis was used to reconstruct the average temperature for April and the precipitation for November in the Hongliujing area over the past 200 years.The results showed that the δ^(18)O values were significantly negatively correlated with the temperature for February,April,May,August,December,and with the annual mean temperature;significantly negatively correlated with the precipitation for February and April;significantly negatively correlated with the sunshine hours for March and May;significantly positively correlated with the sunshine hours for February,July,August,October,and December,and with the annual mean values;and significantly correlated with the relative humidity for April,July,August,September,October,and November,and with the annual mean values.Based on the δ^(18)O record of the past 200 years,the Hongliujing area experienced two warm-wet periods(1874-1932 and 2004-2019 AD)and two cold-dry periods(1832–1873 and 1933-2003 AD).Thus,the climate was characterized by alternating warm-wet and cold-dry conditions.Wavelet analysis revealed three main cycles:45 years,29 years,and 14 years.Zhiguang LI Yaqing DONG Haoyu ZHANG Hongxiao SUN Danyang JIA Shikai SONG Yuanjie ZHAO 2023Frontiers of Earth Science2023,17,4:0
9Defect engineering synergistically modulates power factor and thermal conductivity of CuGaTe2 for ultra-high thermoelectric performance显示文摘The ternary chalcopyrite CuGaTe_(2)has emerged as a promising p-type thermoelectric material with its advantages of low cost,good stability,and non-toxic elements.However,its thermoelectric performance is limited by the intrinsic low electrical conductivity and high lattice thermal conductivity.In this work,A deficiency of Cu in Cu_(1–x)Ga Te_(2)semiconductors can be used to optimize the electrical properties by improving the carrier concentration and to reduce thermal conductivity through multi-scale phonon scattering,which is predicted and guided by the First-principles density functional theory calculations.The carrier concentration is increased to 1020,which compensates for the low electrical performance caused by the intrinsic low nHof CuGaTe_(2).The average power factor of Cu_(0.96)Ga Te_(2)reaches 106.3%higher than that of the original CuGaTe_(2).In addition,the lattice thermal conductivity of the defective samples is greatly reduced at high temperatures,which is mainly due to the reduction of sound speed and phonon scattering.All the above factors contribute to the highest dimensionless figure of merit(ZT)value of 1.23 at 823 K in Cu_(0.96)GaTe_(2),which is 114%higher than the pristine CuGaTe_(2),and the average ZT is 171.4%higher.Zipei Zhang Wenhao Li Lu Yu Sitong Wei Shikai Wei Zhen Ji Weiyu Song Shuqi Zheng 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33:0
10A Comparison of Habitat Use by Wintering Bean Goose and Common Crane in Yeya Lake Wetlands显示文摘Identifying the habitat use in relation with time between 2 bird species in a wetland can help our understanding of how wintering bird species interact and coexist in the same system.The detection probabilities of Bean Goose(Anser fabalis)and Common Crane(Grus grus)were investigated in Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve in Beijing over a whole wintering season.Moreover,how use proportion of each type of habitats varied with time for 2 bird species was explored.In the detection probability study,the method of fixed-radius point was used to observe and infer the presence of species.An occupancy model was applied to deal with the occupancy of a sampling unit,accounting for imperfect detection.In the survey for habitat use,the types of habitats that 2 bird species were occupying were investigated by a line-transect method.Then,the method of multinomial logistic regression was applied to compare the proportions that various types of habitats were used during the days after 2 bird species arrived.The parameters of the detection probability model and multinomial logistic regression equation in a Bayesian framework using Markov Chain Monte Carlo(MCMC)simulations were estimated.The detection probability model was used to predict that Bean Goose arrived in Yeya Lake Wetlands in the middle of October and left at the end of March next year,whereas Common Crane arrived at the end of October and left in the middle of April next year,with almost 5 months coexisting in Yeya Lake Wetlands.The result of the multinomial logistic regression showed Bean Goose gradually decreased use proportion of the water but increased use proportion of grassland over time,and use proportion of farmland remained constant at the beginning but declined later.Common Crane decreased use proportions of the water and grassland but increased that of farmland over time.Common Cranes were more competitive for farmland habitat.It was implied that Bean Goose and Common Crane adjusted and segregated the use proportion of grassland and farmland during their wintering period,which might mitigate interspecific competition and allow for coexistence.It was suggested that adequate habitats of grassland and farmland were probably important requirement enabling habitat segregation and coexistence of Bean Goose and Common Crane and that the overall habitat quality of a wintering site was likely to incorporate the availability of these resources,which provided multiple fitness advantages through secured food supplies and reduced predation risk.Thus,habitats providing adequate food supplies and protection might be unsuitable wintering habitats given an improper agricultural landscape management.Finally,it was proposed that maintenance of habitat diversity and improved farming methods,such as stoping crop residue burning and delaying the time of plowing,could be incorporated in agricultural landscape management plans on habitats of Bean Goose and Common Crane.CAO Zhen WANG Zhenjie WANG Yang SONG Shikai HONG Jianming GAO De 2020湿地科学2020,18,6:0
11Genetic Improvement in Juglans mandshurica and Its Uses in China:Current Status and Future Prospects显示文摘Juglans mandshurica is an economically and ecologically valuable species that is used for various construction purposes,making luxurious furniture,as food and sources of medicinal substances and landscaping because of its excellent wood,edible fruits and rich in various types of chemical compounds.In the past few decades,several genetic improvements of J.mandshurica were made,with a focus on the selection of improved varieties and on breeding technology.Many elite provenances and families were selected based on growth traits or wood properties.In recent years,with the increasing demand for high-quality seedlings in Chinese forestry production,the breeding goals of genetic improvement for J.mandshurica were redefined to include other traits,such as fruit yield and contents of medicinal component.However,the improvement processes were still slow due to the long breeding cycle and the limited use of advanced breeding technologies,resulting in the selection of fewer improved varieties.In this review,we summarized the research progresses on genetic improvements of J.mandshurica and other related works,and discussed research gaps and suggested future directions for genetic improvement of the species.The review provides valuable insight for the selection of improved varieties and production of excellent germplasms.Shikai Zhang Wang Zhan Heng Zhang Shuanglin Song Xibin Qu Jiayi Wang Mulualem Tigabu Xiang Li Qinhui Zhang Minghui Zhao Huanzhen Liu Xiyang Zhao 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,3:0
