1Numerical analysis and simulation of Czochralski growth processes for large diameter silicon crystals显示文摘Numerical analysis and simulation have been an effective means to develop the advanced growth technology and to control the defects type, size and density for silicon crystals of 300 mm and beyond. In the present paper, numerical analysis of the melt flow in the Czochralski (CZ) crystal growth configuration, the three dimensional (3D) modeling, the simulation of melt flow under the magnetic field, the inverse modeling and the time-dependent simulation are reviewed. 2Comparison of measurements and simulation results in 300mm CZ silicon crystal growth显示文摘A special thermal modeling tool, CrysVUn, which was developed by Crystal Growth Laboratory (CGL) of Fraunhofer Institute of Integrated Systems and Devices Technology in Erlangen of Germany, was used for numerical analysis of growth interface situation. The heat transportation, argon flow and melt convection have been considered. Cauchy's first and second laws of motion have been the governing partial equations for stress calculation. 3Effect of thermal shield and gas flow on thermal elastic stresses in 300mm silicon crystal显示文摘The thermal elastic stresses induced in 300 mm Si crystal may be great troubles because it can incur the generation of dislocations and undesirable excessive residual stresses. A special thermal modeling tool, CrysVUn, was used for numerical analysis of thermal elastic stresses and stress distribution of 300 mm Si crystal under the consideration of different thermal shields and gas flow conditions. The adopted governing partial equations for stress calculation are Cauchy′s first and second laws of motion. It is demonstrated that the presence and shape of thermal shield, the gas pressure and velocity can strongly affect von Mises stress distribution in Si crystal. With steep-wall shield, however, the maximal stress and ratio of high stress area are relatively low. With slope-wall shield or without shield, both maximal stress and ratio of high stress area are increased in evidence. Whether thermal shields are used or not, the increase of gas flow velocity could raise the stress level. In contrast, the increase of gas pressure cannot result in so significant effect. 10Towards ultrastrong and ductile medium-entropy alloy through dual-phase ultrafine-grained architecture显示文摘Advanced materials with superior comprehensive mechanical properties are strongly desired,but it has long been a challenge to achieve high ductility in high-strength materials.Here,we proposed a new V 0.5 Cr 0.5 CoNi medium-entropy alloy(MEA)with a face-centered cubic/hexagonal close-packed(FCC/HCP)dual-phase ultrafine-grained(UFG)architecture containing stacking faults(SFs)and local chemical order(LCO)in HCP solid solution,to obtain an ultrahigh yield strength of 1476 MPa and uniform elongation of 13.2%at ambient temperature.The ultrahigh yield strength originates mainly from fine grain strength-ening of the UFG FCC matrix and HCP second-phase strengthening assisted by the SFs and LCO inside,whereas the large ductility correlates to the superior ability of the UFG FCC matrix to storage disloca-tions and the function of deformation-induced SFs in the vicinity of the FCC/HCP boundary to eliminate the stress concentration.This work provides new guidance by engineering novel composition and stable UFG structure for upgrading the mechanical properties of metallic materials.Zhen Chen Hongbo Xie Haile Yan Xueyong Pang Yuhui Wang Guilin Wu Lijun Zhang Hu Tang Bo Gao Bo Yang Yanzhong Tian Huiyang Gou Gaowu Qin 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,31:1

12Characteristics of abrupt changes of snow cover and seasonal freeze-thaw layer in the Tibetan Plateau and their impacts on summer precipitation in China显示文摘In this paper,a variation series of snow cover and seasonal freeze-thaw layer from 1965 to 2004 on the Tibetan Plateau has been established by using the observation data from meteorological stations.The sliding T-test,M-K test and B-G algorithm are used to verify abrupt changes of snow cover and seasonal freeze-thaw layer in the Tibetan plateau.The results show that the snow cover has not undergone an abrupt change,but the seasonal freeze-thaw layer obviously witnessed a rapid degradation in 1987,with the frozen soil depth being reduced by about 15 cm.It is also found that when there is less snow in the plateau region,precipitation in South China and Southwest China increases.But when the frozen soil is deep,precipitation in most of China apparently decreases.Both snow cover and seasonal freeze-thaw layer on the plateau can be used to predict the summer precipitation in China.However,if the impacts of snow cover and seasonal freeze-thaw layer are used at the same time,the predictability of summer precipitation can be significantly improved.The significant correlation zone of snow is located in middle reaches of the Yangtze River covering the Hexi Corridor and northeastern Inner Mongolia,and the seasonal freeze-thaw layer exists in Mt.Nanling,northern Shannxi and northwestern part of North China.The significant correlation zone of simultaneous impacts of snow cover and seasonal freeze-thaw layer is larger than that of either snow cover or seasonal freeze-thaw layer.There are three significant correlation zones extending from north to south:the north zone spreads from Mt.Daxinganling to the Hexi Corridor,crossing northern Mt.Taihang and northern Shannxi;the central zone covers middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River;and the south zone extends from Mt.Wuyi to Yunnan and Guizhou Plateau through Mt.Nanling.Rong Gao HaiLing Zhong WenJie Dong ZhiGang Wei 2011Research in Cold and Arid Regions2011,3,1:1

15Novel quantum circuit implementation of Advanced Encryption Standard with low costs显示文摘In this study, we examine how the quantum circuit of the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES) can be optimized from two aspects, i.e., number of qubits and T-depth. To reduce the number of qubits, we present three kinds of improved quantum circuits of S-box for different phases in the AES. We found that the number of qubits in the round function can be decreased by introducing the circuit sending |a> to |S(a)>. As a result, compared with the previous quantum circuits where 400/640/768 qubits are required,our circuits of AES-128/-192/-256 only require 270/334/398 qubits. To reduce the T-depth, we propose a new circuit of AES's S-box with a T-depth of 4. 16Impacts of snow cover and frozen soil in the Tibetan Plateau on summer precipitation in China显示文摘This paper presents an analysis of the mechanisms and impacts of snow cover and frozen soil in the Tibetan Plateau on the summer precipitation in China, using RegCM3 version 3.1 model simulations. Comparisons of simulations vs. observations show that RegCM3 well captures these impacts. Results indicate that in a more-snow year with deep frozen soil there will be more precipitation in the Yangtze River Basin and central Northwest China, western Inner Mongolia, and Xinjiang, but less precipitation in Northeast China, North China, South China, and most of Southwest China. In a less-snow year with deep frozen soil, however, there will be more precipitation in Northeast China, North China, and southern South China, but less precipitation in the Yangtze River Basin and in northern South China. Such differences may be attributed to different combination patterns of melting snow and thawing frozen soil on the Plateau, which may change soil moisture as well as cause differences in energy absorption in the phase change processes of snow cover and frozen soil. These factors may produce more surface sensible heat in more-snow years when the frozen soil is deep than when the frozen soil is shallow. The higher surface sensible heat may lead to a stronger updraft over the Plateau, eventually contributing to a stronger South Asia High and West Pacific Subtropical High. Due to different values of the wind fields at 850 hPa, a convergence zone will form over the Yangtze River Basin, which may produce more summer precipitation in the basin area but less precipitation in North China and South China. However, because soil moisture depends on ice content, in less-snow years with deep frozen soil, the soil moisture will be higher. The combination of higher frozen soil moisture with latent heat absorption in the phase change process may generate less surface sensible heat and consequently a weaker updraft motion over the Plateau. 17Effect of raw material variability of glipizide on the in vitro dissolution rate and in vivo bioavailability performance: The importance of particle size显示文摘The objective of this study was to understand the impact of active pharmaceutical ingredients(API) particle size on a re-developed generic product of glipizide and to improve its formulation so that it exhibits bioequivalent to that of the reference listed drug(RLD). Two commercial batches of APIs(API-1 and API-2) with the same polymorphism and one batch of home-made APIs(API-3) with super-small particle size were used in the present study.The in vitro dissolution profiles of the tested formulations were compared with the RLD in a series of dissolution media. Then, the impact of particle size on in vivo absorption was evaluated in Beagle dogs. Compared with the RLD, formulation A with larger API size showed slower dissolution in p H 6.0 and 7.4 medium, resulting bioinequivalent with the RLD. Conversely, formulation B with smaller API size demonstrated similar in vitro dissolution profiles with the RLD and thus exhibited bioequivalent in the present study. Furthermore, formulation C with super small particle size still exhibited identical oral absorption although rapid dissolution was observed in the tested condition. Herein, it indicated that 2–5 μm might be defined as the 'inert size range' of glipizide for ensuring the bioequivalence with the RLD. 19Hydrogel electrodes with conductive and substrate-adhesive layers for noninvasive long-term EEG acquisition显示文摘Noninvasive brain–computer interfaces (BCIs) show great potential in applications including sleep monitoring, fatigue alerts, neurofeedback training, etc. While noninvasive BCIs do not impose any procedural risk to users (as opposed to invasive BCIs), the acquisition of high-quality electroencephalograms (EEGs) in the long term has been challenging due to the limitations of current electrodes. Herein, we developed a semidry double-layer hydrogel electrode that not only records EEG signals at a resolution comparable to that of wet electrodes but is also able to withstand up to 12 h of continuous EEG acquisition. The electrode comprises dual hydrogel layers: a conductive layer that features high conductivity, low skin-contact impedance, and high robustness;and an adhesive layer that can bond to glass or plastic substrates to reduce motion artifacts in wearing conditions. Water retention in the hydrogel is stable, and the measured skin-contact impedance of the hydrogel electrode is comparable to that of wet electrodes (conductive paste) and drastically lower than that of dry electrodes (metal pin). Cytotoxicity and skin irritation tests show that the hydrogel electrode has excellent biocompatibility. Finally, the developed hydrogel electrode was evaluated in both N170 and P300 event-related potential (ERP) tests on human volunteers. The hydrogel electrode captured the expected ERP waveforms in both the N170 and P300 tests, showing similarities in the waveforms generated by wet electrodes. In contrast, dry electrodes fail to detect the triggered potential due to low signal quality. In addition, our hydrogel electrode can acquire EEG for up to 12 h and is ready for recycled use (7-day tests).
