1A Review of Technical Advances,Barriers,and Solutions in the Power to Hydrogen(P2H)Roadmap显示文摘Power to hydrogen(P2H)provides a promising solution to the geographic mismatch between sources of renewable energy and the market,due to its technological maturity,flexibility,and the availability of technical and economic data from a range of active demonstration projects.In this review,we aim to provide an overview of the status of P2H,analyze its technical barriers and solutions,and propose potential opportunities for future research and industrial demonstrations.We specifically focus on the transport of hydrogen via natural gas pipeline networks and end-user purification.Strong evidence shows that an addition of about 10%hydrogen into natural gas pipelines has negligible effects on the pipelines and utilization appliances,and may therefore extend the asset value of the pipelines after natural gas is depleted.To obtain pure hydrogen from hydrogen-enriched natural gas(HENG)mixtures,end-user separation is inevitable,and can be achieved through membranes,adsorption,and other promising separation technologies.However,novel materials with high selectivity and capacity will be the key to the development of industrial processes,and an integrated membrane-adsorption process may be considered in order to produce high-purity hydrogen from HENG.It is also worth investigating the feasibility of electrochemical separation(hydrogen pumping)at a large scale and its energy analysis.Cryogenics may only be feasible when liquefied natural gas(LNG)is one of the major products.A range of other technological and operational barriers and opportunities,such as water availability,byproduct(oxygen)utilization,and environmental impacts,are also discussed.This review will advance readers’understanding of P2H and foster the development of the hydrogen economy.Guoping Hu Chao Chen Hiep Thuan Lu Yue Wu Congmin Liu Lefu Tao Yuhan Men Guangli He Kevin Gang Li 2020Engineering2020,6,12:7
2Atmospheric HULIS and its ability to mediate the reactive oxygen species (ROS): A review显示文摘Atmospheric humic-like substances(HULIS) are not only an unresolved mixture of macroorganic compounds but also powerful chelating agents in atmospheric particulate matters(PMs); impacting on both the properties of aerosol particles and health effects by generating reactive oxygen species(ROS). Currently, the interests of HULIS are intensively shifting to the investigations of HULIS-metal synergic effects and kinetics modeling studies, as well as the development of HULIS quantification, findings of possible HULIS sources and generation of ROS from HULIS. In light of HULIS studies, we comprehensively review the current knowledge of isolation and physicochemical characterization of HULIS from atmospheric samples as well as HULIS properties(hygroscopic, surface activity, and colloidal) and possible sources of HULIS.This review mainly highlights the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) from PMs, HULIS and transition metals, especially iron. This review also summarized the mechanism of ironorganic complexation and recent findings of OH formation from HULIS-metal complexes. 3A pulsed switching peroxi-coagulation process to control hydroxyl radical production and to enhance 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid degradation显示文摘The aim of this study was to develop a new pulsed switching peroxi-coagulation system to control hydroxyl radical(∙OH)production and to enhance 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D)degradation.The system was constructed with a sacrifice iron anode,a Pt anode,and a gas diffusion cathode.Production of H_(2)O_(2) and Fe^(2+)was controlled separately by time delayers with different pulsed switching frequencies.Under current densities of 5.0 mA/cm^(2)(H_(2)O_(2))and 0.5 mA/cm^(2)(Fe^(2+)),the∙OH production was optimized with the pulsed switching frequency of 1.0 s(H_(2)O_(2)):0.3 s(Fe^(2+))and the ratio of H_(2)O_(2) to Fe^(2+)molar concentrations of 6.6.Under the optimal condition,2,4-D with an initial concentration of 500 mg/L was completely removed in the system within 240 min.The energy consumption for the 2,4-D removal in the system was much lower than that in the electro-Fenton process(686 vs.13610 kWh/kg TOC).The iron consumption in the system was~20 times as low as that in the peroxi-coagulation process(19620 vs.3940400 mg/L)within 240 min.The system should be a promising peroxi-coagulation method for organic pollutants removal in wastewater.Yaobin Lu Songli He Dantong Wang Siyuan Luo Aiping Liu Haiping Luo Guangli Liu Renduo Zhang 2018Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,5:3

12Ultrasound application in alkaline pretreatment process of spodumene to improve particle floatability显示文摘Selective surface dissolution was found to be important in spodumene flotation. In this study, we proposed to introduce ultrasound into the pretreatment process to accelerate particle vibration and cavitation, as well as the migration of mineral surface components to solution. Micro-flotation results showed that the flotation recovery of spodumene can be 86.08% by ultrasound pretreatment, but only 39.30% by traditional mechanical agitation pretreatment. Compared with traditional mechanical agitation, ultrasonic pretreatment can shorten the pretreatment process, reduce the dosage of agents, reduce the mechanical agitation speed, and improve the efficiency of the pretreating process. Inductively coupled plasma analysis showed that, in the ultrasonic system, the amount of Li, Al, and Si species in the solution was twice as much as those in the traditional preprocessing system. Moreover, the scanning electron microscope results demonstrated a larger surface dissolution area in the ultrasonic system. X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy results showed that the atomic concentration of Si species on the spodumene surface decreased, whereas the relative atomic concentrations of Li and Al species increased, indicating that the ultrasound effect strengthened the selective dissolution of elements on the mineral surface.The high-resolution spectra of O 1s showed that more collectors are adsorbed on the mineral surface treated by ultrasonic pretreatment.Haoran Chu Lanlan Chen Dongfang Lu Yuhua Wang Xiayu Zheng Guangli Zhu 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,7:0
13Degradation of antipyrine in the Fenton-like process with a La-doped heterogeneous catalyst显示文摘The aim of this study was to synthesize a novel lanthanum(La)doped catalyst and to investigate antipyrine removal in wastewater using the Fenton-like process with the catalyst.The La-doped Co-Cu-Fe catalyst was synthesized using the modified hydrothermal method.Results showed that the Ladoped catalyst had higher specific surface area and lower particle size than the catalyst without La doping(i.e.,the control)(267 vs.163 m2/g and 14 vs.32 nm,respectively).Under the conditions of catalyst dosage 0.5 g/L,H2O2 concentration 1.70 g/L,and NaHCO3 0.1g/L,the antipyrine removal within 60 min using the Fenton-like process with the La-doped catalyst was much higher than that with the control(95%vs.54%).The hydroxyl radical concentration with the La-doped catalyst within 60 min was two times higher than that with the control(49.2 vs.22.1 gg/L).The high catalytic activity of La-doped catalyst was mainly attributed to its high specific surface area based on the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy result.Our La-doped catalyst should have great potential to remove antipyrine in wastewater using the heterogeneous Fenton-like process.Shicheng Wei Cuiping Zeng Yaobin Lu Guangli Liu Haiping Luo Renduo Zhang 2019Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,5:0
14Discovery of Stolzite in China and Refinement of Its Crystal Structure显示文摘Although stolzite was discovered in Yaogangxian, Hunan Province, China, in 1948, no formal report about this mineral has been published. Recently its crystal structure has been refined by means of the Rietveld method. The cell dimensions of the mineral are: a=b= 0.544503(3) nm, c= 1.20495(1)nm and α=β=γ=90° . The X, Y and Z coordinates of the atom O refined by the authors are 0.2637, 0.1137 and 0.0706, respectively. 16Pesticide wastewater treatment using the combination of the microbial electrolysis desalination and chemical-production cell and Fenton process显示文摘The combination of the microbial electrolysis desalination and chemical-production cell(MEDCC)and Fenton process for the pesticide wastewater treatment was investigate in this study.Real wastewater with several toxic pesticides,1633 mg/L COD,and 200 in chromaticity was used for the investigation.Results showed that desalination in the desalination chamber of MEDCC reached 78%.Organics with low molecular weights in the desalination chamber could be removed from the desalination chamber,resulting in 28%and 23%of the total COD in the acid-production and cathode chambers,respectively.The desalination in the desalination chamber and organic transfer contributed to removal of pesticides(e.g.,triadimefon),which could not be removed with other methods,and of the organics with low molecular weights.The COD in the effluent of the MEDCC combined the Fenton process was much lower than that in the perixo-coagulaiton process(<150 vs.555 mg/L).The combined method consumed much less energy and acid for the pH adjustment than that the Fenton.Songwei Lin Yaobin Lu Bo Ye Cuiping Zeng Guangli Liu Jieling Li Haiping Luo Renduo Zhang 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,1:0
17Effectiveness and safety of Jinshuibao capsules(金水宝胶囊)in treatment of residual cardiopulmonary symptoms in convalescent patients of coronavirus disease 2019:a pilot randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Jinshuibao capsules(金水宝胶囊),a Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),in the treatment of residual cardiopulmonary symptoms in convalescent corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients.METHODS:A total of 200 participants with COVID-19 in convalescence phase were randomly assigned into two groups at a 1:1 ratio in this multicenter randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial.One group received Jinshuibao capsules,and the other received placebo.The patients were followed up at one and two weeks of treatment.Five symptoms(dry cough,shortness of breath,sweating,chest tightness and palpitation)improvement rates and full recovery rates were compared.RESULTS:All baseline characteristics were comparable between the two groups.After two weeks of treatment,symptom improvement rates for dry cough(74.00%vs 50.00%,P=0.015),shortness of breath(78.95%vs 46.15%,P<0.001),sweating(80.00%vs 57.75%,P=0.004),chest tightness(87.06%vs 60.47%,P<0.001)and palpitation(82.50%vs 64.56%,P=0.010)were significantly higher in the Jinshuibao group compared with the control group.Meanwhile,Jinshuibao capsules treatment also displayed more satisfactory full recovery rates of all five symptoms(dry cough 58.00%vs 19.57%,shortness of breath 18.95%vs 7.69%,sweating 36.00%vs 19.72%,chest tightness 32.94%vs 13.95%,and palpitation 48.75%vs 29.11%)in participants with COVID-19 in convalescence phase compared with the control group(P<0.05).No severe adverse events were reported in either group.CONCLUSIONS:Jinshuibao capsules have the potential to improve residual cardiopulmonary symptoms in convalescent COVID-19 patients,with few adverse events.ZHANG Yuehong DONG Dandan YAN Youqin ZHANG Hao WANG Guangli ZHOU Wei LI Wei QIU Li LI Tingming LIU Quan XIA Ping MAO Lina YANG Danlin YANG Lu LIAN Fengmei TONG Xiaolin BA Yuanming 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:0
18Hydrothermal Synthesis and Electrochemical Behavior of Nanosized Orthorhombic LiMnO_(2)显示文摘Nanosized orthorhombic LiMnO2 was successfully synthesized using Mn2O3 and LiOH.H2O as starting materials.Not only the reaction temperature was lower, but the reaction time for synthesizing was notably shortened to 1 h.In this hydrothermal process, the cations of the starting materials were capable of mixing and interacting in ionic scale, which resulted in the rapid formation of o-LiMnO2 powders at relatively low temperature. The particle size conformed by transmission electron microscopy is around 50~150 nm. Benefiting from its small particle size and good uniformity, the obtained o-LiMnO2 can reach the maximum discharge capacity of 163 mA.h.g-1 at 0.1 C rate after several cycles. 19Analysis on Quality Control of Argyreia acuta Lour显示文摘[Objectives]To establish a method for caffeic acid content determination and thin-layer chromatography identification of the Zhuang medicine Argyreia acuta Lour.[Methods]Silica gel GF254(thin-layer plate),toluene-formic acid-ethyl acetate(V∶V∶V=5∶1.2∶3)(developing agent)and 365 nm ultraviolet light were used for thin-layer chromatography identification.Under the chromatographic conditions of column of Thermo SCIENTIFIC Hypersil C18(5μm,4.60 mm×250 mm),mobile phase of methanol-0.1%phosphoric acid(23∶77),detection wavelength of 320 nm,column temperature of 30℃,sample size of 10μL and flow rate of 1.0 mL/min,the content of caffeic acid in A.acuta Lour was determined.[Results]Caffeic acid can be detected in thin layer chromatography,with strong specificity and clear spots.When the sample size of caffeic acid is within the range of 0.0151-0.4530μg(R^(2)=0.9999),the content of caffeic acid showed a relatively good linear relationship with the peak area.The average recovery rate of A.acuta Lour was 99.94%(RSD=2.68%),97.56%(RSD=1.57%)and 99.79%(RSD=2.05%),respectively.[Conclusions]This method can effectively identify A.acuta Lour,and can accurately determine the content of caffeic acid in A.acuta Lour.It has characteristics of high accuracy,high precision,good color rendering stability,good reproducibility and fast analysis speed.Ru ZHANG Jiangcun WEI Chunli TANG Bihua NONG Guangli LU Yanxiu WANG 2020Medicinal Plant2020,11,6:0
