| 2 | Synergistically Enhanced Mucoadhesive and Penetrable Polypeptide Nanogel for Efficient Drug Delivery to Orthotopic Bladder Cancer显示文摘Intravesical chemotherapy has been recommended after the gold standard of transurethral resection of the bladder tumor to prevent bladder cancer(BC)from local recurrence in the clinic.However,due to rapid urine excretion and barrier protection of the bladder wall,the clinical performances of chemotherapeutic drugs are severely compromised.In the present work,a smart positively charged disulfide-crosslinked nanogel of oligoarginine-poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(L-phenylalanine-co-L-cystine)(R_(9)-PEG-P(LP-co-LC))was prepared to prolong the retention period and enhance the penetration capability of chemotherapeutic agent toward the bladder wall.PEG significantly improved the aqueous dispersibility of the 10-hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT)-loaded R_(9)-PEG-P(LP-co-LC)(i.e.,R_(9)NG/HCPT)and enhanced the mucoadhesive capability by the nonspecific interaction between PEG chain and the bladder mucosa accompanied with the electrostatic interaction between the cationic R_(9)and negatively charged bladder mucosa.Besides,R_(9),as a cell-penetrating peptide,efficiently penetrated through the cell membrane and delivered carried cargo.The disulfide bond endowed the selective release behavior of HCPT triggered by the intracellular reductive microenvironment.As an advanced chemotherapeutic nanoformulation,the smart R_(9)NG/HCPT demonstrated superior cytotoxicity against human BC 5637 cells in vitro and remarkably enhanced tumor suppression activity toward orthotopic BC models of mouse and rat in vivo,indicating its great potential in the clinical intravesical BC chemotherapy. | Hui Guo Faping Li Heping Qiu Weiguo Xu Pengqiang Li Yuchuan Hou Jianxun Ding Xuesi Chen | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 7 |
| 3 | Static recrystallization and grain growth during annealing of an extruded Mg-Zn-Zr-Er magnesium alloy显示文摘Microstructure stability is essential to maintain a fine grain structure for an alloy throughout its processing.The effects of Er addition and its existing form on the static recrystallization and grain growth during annealing of an extruded Mg-1.5Zn-0.6Zr magnesium alloy were studied in this paper.The results showed that microstructure stability was much improved by Er addition and the best thermability was obtained in 2 wt.%Er-containing alloy.For the incomplete dynamic recrystallization(DRX)microstructures extruded at a lower temperature of 350℃,Er addition increased the resistance of static recrystallization;and for the complete DRX microstructures extruded at a relatively high temperature of 420℃,Er addition suppressed grain growth.The difference in microstructure stability was then correlated with the microstructure features.Both the intermetallic phase and the solute atoms of Er inα-Mg matrix contributed to the microstructure stability.Moreover,it is believed that the existing form of Er-Zn atom pairs in theα-Mg solid solution favored the most to improve the thermal stability of the alloy. | Jing Zhang Weiguo Li Zhengxiao Guo | 2013 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2013,1,1: | 6 |
| 4 | The effect of phase transition on the compressional wave velocity for a trachybasalt at high temperature and high pressure显示文摘Compressional wave velocities in a trachybasalt, from Yichuan County, Henan Province, have been measured at 2.0 GPa and up to 1 350℃ in a YJ-3000 t cubic-anvil highpressure apparatus. The run products have been gained at the same pressure but different temperatures. The observation of the thin sections of the run products indicates that, corresponding to the variation of the compressional wave velocity in the trachybasalt, the phase transition has taken place. The relationship between the change of the compressional wave velocity and the hydrous mineral dehydration, solid-solid phase transformation and partial melting has been discussed. | 5 | Profiling and bioinformatics analysis of differentially expressed circular RNAs in human intervertebral disc degeneration显示文摘The functional changes of nucleus pulposus (NP) cells are considered to be the initiating factors of intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD), and the differentially expressed circRNAs in NP cells may play an important role in the process of IDD. To identify circular RNAs (circRNAs) associated with human IDD, we isolated the NP cells from human degenerated and non-degenerated intervertebral disc and identified NP cells by microscopy and cell proliferation. CircRNA microarray expression profiles were obtained from NP cells of degenerated and non-degenerated intervertebral disc and further validated by quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRTPCR). The expression data were analyzed by bioinformatics. Microarray analysis identified 7294 circRNAs differentially expressed in degenerated human IDD NP cells. Among them, 3724 circRNAs were up-regulated and 3570 circRNAs were down-regulated by more than 2 folds. After validating by qRT-PCR, we predicted the possible miRNAs of the top dysregulated circRNAs using TargetScan, and miRanda. Furthermore, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis showed that the most modulated circRNAs regulate the viability, degradation, apoptosis and oxidative stress in NP cells, and the possible mechanism underlying IDD was discussed. | 7 | High-performance all-polymer solar cells enabled by a novel low bandgap non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor显示文摘The non-fully conjugated polymer as a new class of acceptor materials has shown some advantages over its small molecular counterpart when used in photoactive layers for all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs),despite a low power conversion efficiency(PCE)caused by its narrow absorption spectra.Herein,a novel non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-2TS with a low bandgap of~1.40 eV was developed,via polymerizing a largeπ-fused small molecule acceptor(SMA)building block(namely YBO)with a non-conjugated thioalkyl linkage.Compared with its precursor YBO,PFY-2TS retains a similar low bandgap but a higher LUMO level.Moreover,compared with the structural analog of YBO-based fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-DTC,PFY-2TS shows a similar absorption spectrum and electron mobility,but significantly different molecular crystallinity and aggregation properties,which results in optimal blend morphology with a polymer donor PBDB-T and physical processes of the device in all-PSCs.As a result,PFY-2TS-based all-PSCs achieved a PCE of 12.31%with a small energy loss of 0.56 eV enabled by the reduced non-radiative energy loss(0.24 eV),which is better than that of 11.08%for the PFY-DTC-based ones.Our work clearly demonstrated that non-fully conjugated polymers as a new class of acceptor materials are very promising for the development of high-performance all-PSCs. | Qunping Fan Ruijie Ma Tao Liu Jianwei Yu Yiqun Xiao Wenyan Su Guilong Cai Yuxiang Li Wenhong Peng Tao Guo Zhenghui Luo Huiliang Sun Lintao Hou Weiguo Zhu Xinhui Lu Feng Gao Ellen Moons Donghong Yu He Yan Ergang Wang | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,8: | 3 |

| 9 | Low temperature catalytic oxidation of NO over different-shaped CeO2显示文摘To investigate the effect of CeO_2 nanomaterial morphology on its performance for NO catalytic oxidation.Three kinds of CeO_2 nanomaterials including CeO_2 nanorods,nanospheres and nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method and used for catalytic oxidation of NO at low temperature. The experimental results show that CeO_2 nanorods are of the best catalytic performance. Characterization techniques including TEM, XRD, H_2-TPR, NO-TPD and XPS were used to determine the relationship between the morphology of CeO_2 nanomaterial and its catalytic performance. TEM images show that CeO_2 nanorods predominantly exposed(110) and(10 0) planes, while CeO_2 nanospheres and CeO_2 nanoparticles predominantly exposed(111) plane. | 10 | Effect of electropulsing treatment on static recrystallization behavior of cold-rolled magnesium alloy ZK60 with different reductions显示文摘Effect of electropulsing treatment(EPT) on recrystallization behavior of cold-rolled Mg alloy ZK60 strips was investigated. It was found that EPT significantly improved nucleation rate and migration ability of grain boundaries, leading to accelerated recrystallization of the deformed metals at relatively low temperature. After the recrystallization induced by EPT, the average grain size of 20% rolling reduction samples decreased from 113 um to around 10 um, meanwhile the typical basal-type texture of the coldrolled sample was weakened. EPT was normally accompanied with a thermal and an athermal effects. The athermal effect played a dominated role in increasing nucleation rate, while the thermal effect promoted grain growth. | 14 | Arginine methylation of ribose-5-phosphate isomerase A senses glucose to promote human colorectal cancer cell survival显示文摘Cancer cells remodel their metabolic network to adapt to variable nutrient availability. Pentose phosphate pathway(PPP) plays protective and biosynthetic roles by oxidizing glucose to generate reducing power and ribose. How cancer cells modulate PPP activity in response to glucose supply remains unclear. Here we show that ribose-5-phosphate isomerase A(RPIA), an enzyme in PPP, directly interacts with co-activator associated arginine methyltransferase 1(CARM1) and is methylated at arginine 42(R42). R42 methylation up-regulates the catalytic activity of RPIA. Furthermore, glucose deprivation strengthens the binding of CARM1 with RPIA to induce R42 hypermethylation. Insufficient glucose supply links to RPIA hypermethylation at R42, which increases oxidative PPP flux. RPIA methylation supports ROS clearance by enhancing NADPH production and fuels nucleic acid synthesis by increasing ribose supply. Importantly, RPIA methylation at R42 significantly potentiates colorectal cancer cell survival under glucose starvation.
