Medium-and long-term efficacy of ligustrazine plus conventional medication on ischemic stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the mediumto long-term efficacy of ligustrazine plus conventional medicine treating ischemic stroke. METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) testing ligustrazine in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke were retrieved from Cochrane Library, PubMed, Excerpta Medica Database, Chinese Medical Journal Database, Chinese Biomedical Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, and Chinese Clinical Trial Register, and then identified by the inclusive and exclusive criteria. The quality of trials was assessed with the Cochrane Handbook 5.1, a risk of bias assessment tool. RevMan 5.1 was used for meta-analysis.RESULTS: Three RCTs involving 643 patients were included. Compared to conventional medicine treatment alone, ligustrazine plus conventional medicine treatment showed significant difference in reduction of stroke recurrence either at the end of 1-year follow-up [RR=0.42, 95% CI(0.18, 0.94), P< 0.05] or 3-years observation [RR=0.48, 95% CI(0.27, 0.83), P<0.05]. The ligustrazine group also showed higher survival rate [RR=1.67, 95% CI(1.02, 0.2.71), P<0.05] and significantly better effective rate [RR= 1.28, 95% CI(1.10, 1.50), P<0.05] than that of the control group at the end of 1 year visit. Only one trial conducted safety assessment and no adverse events were reported. The methodological quality of all the trials included was generally poor. CONCLUSION: The findings provided evidence that the combination of ligustrazine and conventional medication was mediumand long-term beneficial to the patients suffering ischemic stroke. But more RCTs of high quality are needed to further prove the efficacy and safety of using ligustrazine for ischemic stroke.Xiaojia Ni Shaonan Liu Xinfeng Guo 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,6:6
Reporting quality and effect size comparison in randomized controlled trials of bo's abdominal acupuncture using CONSORT statement and STRICTA显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the reporting quality of randomized controlled trials(RCT) that compared Bo's abdominal acupuncture with conventional body acupuncture, and compare the efficacy and safetybetweenthembyperforminga Meta-analysis.METHODS: All RCTs comparing Bo's abdominalacupuncture with conventional body acupuncture were included. English and Chinese databases were searched from their respective inceptions to March 2014. The reporting quality was assessed according to the 'Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials'(CONSORT) checklist for parallel RCTs and the revised 'Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture'(STRICTA). A Meta-analysis was conducted to synthesize the effect sizes, and publication bias was evaluated by the Egger linear regression test using Stata.RESULTS: Ninety-seven studies were included, of which most lacked adequate reporting information, and 80.4% showed that the efficacy of abdominal acupuncture is superior to conventional body acupuncture, especially for the following diseases:lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, omarthritis and cervical vertigo, except simple obesity.Effect-sizes were controversial when evaluating different outcomes.CONCLUSION: The international standard CONSORT statement and STRICTA guidelines should be strictly applied when reporting acupuncture RCTs in the future. Abdominal acupuncture appears to be more effective compared with conventional body acupuncture for some diseases. However, further high quality blind RCTs using validated outcomeindexesandstandardreportingarewarranted.Wen Wanxin Yang Lihong Liu Shaonan Zhong Ying Hu Xiaoyi Huang Xiaowan Guo Xinfeng 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,3:5

Sulfur vs. tellurium: the heteroatom effects on the nonfullerene acceptors显示文摘The effect of chalcogen heteroatom variation on donor materials has been systematically investigated. However, this effect on acceptors has rarely been explored. Herein, nonfullerene acceptors BFPSP and BFPTP were reported by simply changing the chalcogen atoms from S to Te. The differences between BFPSP and BFPTP in light absorption, energy levels, excited-state lifetimes, energy loss, charge mobilities, morphology, and photovoltaic properties were systematically investigated to understand the heteroatom effects. More importantly, the electroluminescence spectra, external quantum efficiency of photovoltaics and TDDFTcalculations revealed that the triplet excited state(T1) in energy of BFPTP equals to the charge transfer(CT) state in PBDBT:BFPTP, which allows T1 excitons, generated by intersystem crossing, to split into free charges to contribute to the efficiency. This contribution provides a strategy for tuning the photophysical properties of nonfullerene acceptors and designing high performance triplet materials for OSCs.Lei Yang Linqing Qin Yunxiao Xu Huotian Zhang Lei Lv Kepeng Chen Xinyu Sui Yangguang Zhong Yuan Guo Feng Gao Jianzhang Zhao Yuhao Li Xinfeng Liu Yuanping Yi Xinhui Lu Aidong Peng Hui Huang 2019Science China Chemistry2019,62,7:1
Dynamic friction energy dissipation and enhanced contrast in high frequency bimodal atomic force microscopy显示文摘Dynamic friction occurs not only between two contact objects sliding against each other, but also between two relative sliding surfaces several nanometres apart. Many emerging micro-and nano-mechanical systems that promise new applications in sensors or information technology may suffer or benefit from noncontact friction.Herein we demonstrate the distance-dependent friction energy dissipation between the tip and the heterogeneous polymers by the bimodal atomic force microscopy(AFM)method driving the second order flexural and the first order torsional vibration simultaneously. The pull-in problem caused by the attractive force is avoided, and the friction dissipation can be imaged near the surface. The friction dissipation coefficient concept is proposed and three different contact states are determined from phase and energy dissipation curves.Image contrast is enhanced in the intermediate setpoint region. The work offers an effective method for directly detecting the friction dissipation and high resolution images, which overcomes the disadvantages of existing methods such as contact mode AFM or other contact friction and wear measuring instruments.Xinfeng TAN Dan GUO Jianbin LUO 2022Friction2022,10,5:1
Active control of friction realized by vibrational excitation:Numerical simulation based on the Prandtl-Tomlinson model and molecular dynamics显示文摘Superlubricity and active friction control have been extensively researched in order to reduce the consumption of fossil energy, the failure of moving parts, and the waste of materials. The vibration-induced superlubricity(VIS)presents a promising solution for friction reduction since it does not require high-standard environment. However, the mechanism underlying the VIS remains unclear since the atomic-scale information in a buried interface is unavailable to experimental methods. In this paper, the mechanism of VIS was examined via numerical calculation based on the Prandtl-Tomlinson(PT)model and molecular dynamics(MD)simulations. The results revealed that the pushing effect of stick-slip is one of the direct sources of friction reduction ability under vibrational excitation, which was affected by the response amplitude, frequency, and the trace of the tip. Moreover, the proportion of this pushing effect could be modulated by changing the phase difference when applying coupled vibrational excitation in x-and z-axis.This results in a significant change in friction reduction ability with phase.By this way, active friction control from the stick-slip to superlubricity can be achieved conveniently.Xiao MA Xinfeng TAN Dan GUO Shizhu WEN 2023Friction2023,11,7:0

Comparative analysis of frictional behavior and mechanism of molybdenum ditelluride with different structures显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)have layered structures with excellent tribological properties.Since the energy difference between hexagonal-molybdenum ditelluride(2H-MoTe_(2))and distorted octahedral-molybdenum ditelluride(1T′-MoTe_(2))is very small among the transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs),MoTe_(2) becomes one of the most promising candidates for phase engineering. In our experiment,we found that the friction force and friction coefficient(COF)of 2H-MoTe_(2) were an order of magnitude smaller than those of 1T′-MoTe_(2) by the atomic force microscope(AFM)experiments. The friction difference between 1T′-MoTe_(2) and 2H-MoTe_(2) was further verified in molecular dynamics(MD)simulations. The density functional theory(DFT)calculations suggest that the friction contrast is related to the difference in sliding energy barrier of the potential energy surface(PES)for a tip sliding across the surface. The PES obtained from the DFT calculation indicates that the maximum energy barrier and the minimum energy path(MEP)energy barrier of 2H-MoTe_(2) are both smaller than those of 1T′-MoTe_(2),which means that less energy needs to be dissipated during the sliding process. The difference in energy barrier of the PES could be ascribed to its larger interlayer spacing and weaker Mo–Te interatomic interactions within the layers of 2H-MoTe_(2) than those of 1T′-MoTe_(2).The obvious friction difference between 1T′-MoTe_(2) and 2H-MoTe_(2) not only provides a new non-destructive means to detect the phase transition by the AFM,but also provides a possibility to tune friction by controlling the phase transition, which has the potential to be applied in extreme environments such as space lubrication.Lina ZHANG Xinfeng TAN Jianguo JIAO Dan GUO Jianbin LUO 2024Friction2024,12,1:0
Extensive gene flow in secondary sympatry after allopatric speciation显示文摘In the conventional view, species are separate gene pools delineated by reproductive isolation(RI).In an alternative view, species may also be delineated by a small set of’speciation genes’without full RI,a view that has gained broad acceptance.A recent survey, however, suggested that the extensive literature on’speciation with gene flow’is mostly(if not all)about exchanges in the early stages of speciation. There is no definitive evidence that the observed gene flow actually happened after speciation is completed. Here,we wish to know whether’good species’(defined by the’secondary sympatry’test)do continue to exchange genes and, importantly, under what conditions such exchanges can be observed.De novo whole-genome assembly and re-sequencing of individuals across the range of two closely related mangrove species(Rhizophora mucronata and R.stylosa)reveal the genomes to be well delineated in allopatry. They became sympatric in northeastern Australia but remain distinct species.Nevertheless, their genomes harbor~4000-10000 introgression blocks averaging only about 3-4 Kb.These fine-grained introgressions indicate continual gene flow long after speciation as non-introgressable’genomic islets,’~1.4 Kb in size, often harbor diverging genes of flower or gamete development. The fine-grained introgression in secondary sympatry may help settle the debate about sympatric vs.micro-allopatric speciation. In conclusion, true’good species’may often continue to exchange genes but the opportunity for detection is highly constrained.Xinfeng Wang Ziwen He Zixiao Guo Ming Yang Shaohua Xu Qipian Chen Shao Shao Sen Li Cairong Zhong Norman C.Duke Suhua Shi 2022National Science Review2022,9,12:0
Interlayer friction behavior of molybdenum ditelluride with different structures显示文摘The interlayer friction behavior of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)as crucial solid lubricants has attracted extensive attention in the field of tribology. In this study, the interlayer friction is measured by laterally pushing the MoTe_(2)powder on the MoTe_(2)substrate with the atomic force microscope(AFM)tip, and density functional theory(DFT)simulations are used to rationalize the experimental results. The experimental results indicate that the friction coefficient of the 1T'-MoTe_(2)/1T'-MoTe_(2)interface is 2.025×10^(−4),which is lower than that of the 2H-MoTe_(2)/2H-MoTe_(2)interface(3.086×10^(−4)),while the friction coefficient of the 1T'-MoTe_(2)/2H-MoTe_(2)interface is the lowest at 6.875×10^(−5).The lower interfacial friction of 1T'-MoTe_(2)/1T'-MoTe_(2)compared to 2H-MoTe_(2)/2H-MoTe_(2)interface can be explained by considering the relative magnitudes of the ideal average shear strengths and maximum shear strengths based on the interlayer potential energy.Additionally, the smallest interlayer friction observed at the 1T'-MoTe_(2)/2H-MoTe_(2)heterojunction is attributed to the weak interlayer electrostatic interaction and reduction in potential energy corrugation caused by the incommensurate contact. This work suggests that MoTe_(2)has comparable interlayer friction properties to MoS_(2)and is expected to reduce interlayer friction in the future by inducing the 2H-1T'phase transition.Lina Zhang Xinfeng Tan Jianguo Jiao Dan Guo Jianbin Luo 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
