25-Hydroxymethylome in Circulating Cell-free DNA as A Potential Biomarker for Non-small-cell Lung Cancer显示文摘Non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC), the most common type of lung cancer accounting for 85% of the cases, is often diagnosed at advanced stages owing to the lack of efficient early diagnostic tools. 5-Hydroxymethylcytosine(5 hmC) signatures in circulating cell-free DNA(cfDNA) that carries the cancer-specific epigenetic patterns may represent the valuable biomarkers for discriminating tumor and healthy individuals, and thus could be potentially useful for NSCLC diagnosis. Here,we employed a sensitive and reliable method to map genome-wide 5 hmC in the cfDNA of Chinese NSCLC patients and detected a significant 5 hmC gain in both the gene bodies and promoter regions in the blood samples from tumor patients compared with healthy controls. Specifically, we identified six potential biomarkers from 66 patients and 67 healthy controls(mean decrease accuracy>3.2, P < 3.68E-19) using machine-learning-based tumor classifiers with high accuracy. 3Point mass filter based matching algorithm in gravity aided underwater navigation显示文摘Gravity-aided inertial navigation is a hot issue in the applications of underwater autonomous vehicle(UAV). Since the matching process is conducted with a gravity anomaly database tabulated in the form of a digital model and the resolution is 2' × 2',a filter model based on vehicle position is derived and the particularity of inertial navigation system(INS) output is employed to estimate a parameter in the system model. Meanwhile, the matching algorithm based on point mass filter(PMF) is applied and several optimal selection strategies are discussed. It is obtained that the point mass filter algorithm based on the deterministic resampling method has better practicability. 4Thermal protection mechanism of heat pipe in leading edge under hypersonic conditions显示文摘Sharp local structure, like the leading edge of hypersonic aircraft, confronts a severe aerodynamic heating environment at a Mach number greater than 5. To eliminate the danger of a material failure, a semi-active thermal protection system is proposed by integrating a metallic heat pipe into the structure of the leading edge. An analytical heat-balance model is established from traditional aerodynamic theories, and then thermal and mechanical characteristics of the structure are studied at Mach number 6–8 for three refractory alloys, Inconel 625, C-103, and T-111. The feasibility of this simple analytical method as an initial design tool for hypersonic aircraft is assessed through numerical simulations using a finite element method. The results indicate that both the isothermal and the maximum temperatures fall but the von Mises stress increases with a longer design length of the leading edge. These two temperatures and the stress rise remarkably at a higher Mach number. Under all investigated hypersonic conditions, with a 3 mm leading edge radius and a0.15 m design length, the maximum stress exceeds the yield strength of Inconel 625 at Mach numbers greater than 6, which means a material failure. 5Consensus control of stochastic multi-agent systems: a survey显示文摘In this article, we provide a review of the consensus control problem for stochastic multi-agent systems(MASs). Recent advances are surveyed according to the method of occurrence of the stochasticity of the MASs. First, the consensus problem is discussed for MASs, wherein individual agents are corrupted by random noises, i.e., the dynamics of agents involve stochasticity in process and/or measurement equations. Both additive noises and multiplicative noises are surveyed in detail and special attention is paid to the MASs whose dynamics are governed by It?o differential equations. Moreover, particular effort is devoted to presenting the latest progress on the consensus problem for a special type of stochastic MAS with Markovian jump parameters. Subsequently,the relevant research is summarized for MASs with noisy communication environments and stochastic sampling.Further, we provide a systematic review of the consensus problems for MASs whose communication topology varies randomly in the process of data propagation among agents. 6Discrete particle modeling of granular temperature distribution in a bubbling fluidized bed显示文摘The discrete hard sphere particle model (DPM) is applied in this work to study numerically the distributions of particle and bubble granular temperatures in a bubbling fluidized bed. The dimensions of the bed and other parameters are set to correspond to those of Müller et al. (2008). Various drag models and operational parameters are investigated to find their influence on particle and bubble granular temperatures. Various inlet superficial gas velocities are used in this work to obtain their effect on flow characteristics. It is found that the superficial gas velocity has the most important effect on granular temperatures including bubble granular temperature, particle translational granular temperature and particle rotational granular temperature. The drag force model affects more seriously the large scale variables such as the bubble granular temperature. Restitution coefficient influences all granular temperatures to some degree. Simulation results are compared with experimental results by Müller et al. 7An experimental study on metal precipitation driven by fluid mixing: implications for genesis of carbonate-hosted lead–zinc ore deposits显示文摘A type of carbonate-hosted lead–zinc(Pb–Zn)ore deposits, known as Mississippi Valley Type(MVT)deposits, constitutes an important category of lead–zinc ore deposits. Previous studies proposed a fluid-mixing model to account for metal precipitation mechanism of the MVT ore deposits, in which fluids with metal-chloride complexes happen to mix with fluids with reduced sulfur, producing metal sulfide deposition. In this hypothesis, however, the detailed chemical kinetic process of mixing reactions, and especially the controlling factors on the metal precipitation are not yet clearly stated. In this paper, a series of mixing experiments under ambient temperature and pressure conditions were conducted to simulate the fluid mixing process, by titrating the metal-chloride solutions, doping withor without dolomite, and using NaHS solution. Experimental results, combined with the thermodynamic calculations, suggest that H_2S, rather than HS^-or S^(2-),dominated the reactions of Pb and/or Zn precipitation during the fluid mixing process, in which metal precipitation was influenced by the stability of metal complexes and the pH. Given the constant concentrations of metal and total S in fluids, the pH was a primary factor controlling the Pb and/or Zn metal precipitation. This is because neutralizing or neutralized processes for the ore-forming fluids can cause instabilities of Pb and/or Zn chloride complexes and re-distribution of sulfur species, and thus can facilitate the hydrolysis of Pb and Zn ions and precipitation of sulfides. 8Immunotoxicity and hepatotoxicity of PFOS and PFOA in tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)显示文摘Perfluorinated organic compounds(PFOCs) are emerging persistent organic pollutants(POPs) widely distributed in the environment,wildlife and human.We studied the toxicology of perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA) on immunotoxicity and hepatotoxicity in primarily cultured hepatocytes of freshwater tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus).Cultured hepatocytes were exposed to PFOS or PFOA(0,10,20 and 30 mg/L) for 24,48,72,96,120 and 144 hours,respectively.Oral doses of these compounds that induce significantly detectable immunotoxicity and hepatotoxicity were employed in the study.In response to PFOS,the leukocytes,B cells,granulocytes,and macrophages among the isolation of intrahepatic immune cells(IHIC) from PFOS-treated tilapia produced significant levels of immune cells compared with that of the control group.The numbers of leukocytes,B cells,granulocytes,and macrophages for PFOS-treated tilapia increased with the incremental exposure concentration.Moreover,similar to the findings in PFOA toxicity effects,the erythropoietin levels in tilapia increased with the increase of the PFOS and PFOA concentrations.The lowest doses(10 mg/L) of PFOS exposure led to a marked inhibition in the hepatocyte viability in tilapia.Similarly,tilapia exposed to PFOA demonstrated a similar pattern,and a dose-dependent decrease in the hepatocyte viability was observed in the following treatment of PFOA.In the 72 h exposures,ethoxy-resorufin-O-deethylase(EROD) activity was significantly induced with the increase concentrations in tilapia liver(p<0.05).Tilapia showed a strong EROD induction in livers,and significantly difference in EROD activity was observed between control,PFOS and PFOA-exposed tilapias.The liver glycogen content showed that PFOS and PFOA exposure caused significant changes in the liver glycogen content,which depended on the duration of exposure.And it appeared that the decrease in blood glucose level during the acclimation was followed by significant increase in liver glycogen content in tilapia.HAN Zhaoxiang LIU Yurong WU Dandan ZHU Zhen Lu Chunxia 2012Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2012,31,4:2

12Protective Effects of Flavonoids from Pteridium aquilinum on CCl_(4)-induced Acute Liver Injury in Mice显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the protective effects of flavonoids from Pteridium aquilinum(PAFL)on carbon tetracholoride(CCl_(4))-induced acute liver injury in mice and its potential mechanism.[Methods]All mice were randomly divided into four groups(n=10 in each),normal group,CCl_(4)group,CCl_(4)+PAFL groups[treated with PAFL(50 or 200 mg/kg)].Animal treatment was continued for 7 consecutive days.The blood was collected after injection of CCl_(4)for 24 h,and the liver tissue was removed from the mice and stored at-80℃.[Results]The PAFL(50 and 200 mg/kg)significantly inhibited the increase of aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)levels in serum caused by CCl_(4)treatment.PAFL administration not only increased the activity of antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase(SOD),Glutathione(GSH)and catalase(CAT)in mice,but also reduced the level of malondialdehyde(MDA).Meanwhile,PAFL administration decreased the expression of nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)and Cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)proteins and inhibited the release of pro-inflammatory factors tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and interleukin 6(IL-6).In addition,PAFL(200 mg/kg)treatment down-regulated extracellular regulated protein kinases(ERK)and c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)protein levels in liver tissue.[Conclusions]These findings clearly indicate that the protective effects of PAFL on CCl_(4)-induced acute liver injury is related to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity,which may be mediated by NF-κB and MAPKs signaling pathways.Junyue ZHANG Xiang HAN Qi ZHANG Yurong ZHU Haowei DENG Hongyang LIU Shuangli LIU Xiaohui WANG 2022Medicinal Plant2022,13,6:0

14High-efficient removal of tetracycline in water via porous magnetic Ce/Fe photocomposite under visible light显示文摘Tetracycline is a typical antibiotic commonly used in various industries which is eco-toxic and quickly causes bacterial resistance.Therefo re,studying the efficient removal of tetracycline is necessary to protect the water environment.Herein,a novel Ce/Fe nanoparticle composite(1CCFO)was prepared by the sol-gel method and its removal effects of tetracycline under visible light were performed.The relationship between physicochemical properties of catalyst and photocatalytic degradation effects of tetracycline was analyzed based on a series of characterizations data such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectro scopy,a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)method,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)spectroscopy.The results show that Ce/Fe photocatalyst possesses a large specific surface area,good visible light response,abundant oxygen vacancies and excellent redox performance,exhibiting good adsorption capacity,remarkable catalytic performance and stability.The optimal conditions for tetracycline removal were explored through orthogonal experiments.About 88%of tetracycline can be photodegraded in 1 h under optimal conditions.The possible decomposition pathways,main reactive oxygen species and suitable mechanism of the photocatalytic system were studied by liquid chromatography-mass spectro metry(LC-MS),an electron spin resonance(ESR)spectrometer and free radical quenching experiments.The results show that 1CCFO has an efficient degradation effect on tetracycline under visible light,which provides a feasible method to improve the performance of 1CCFO.Weihang Han Jingxuan Shou Yifan Yang Liangchen Chen Luping Zhang Yutong Chen Xuewei Tu Dan Jin Shijie Zhang Yurong Chang Hui Zheng 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,10:0
