Progress in China's Unconventional Oil & Gas Exploration and Development and Theoretical Technologies显示文摘The new century has witnessed a strategic breakthrough in unconventional oil & gas.Hydrocarbon accumulated in micro-/nano-scale pore throat shale systems has become an important domain that could replace current oil & gas resources.Unconventional oil & gas plays an increasingly important role in our energy demand.Tight gas,CBM,heavy oil and asphaltic sand have served as a key domain of exploration & development, with tight oil becoming a 'bright spot' domain and shale gas becoming a 'hotspot' domain.China has made great breakthroughs in unconventional oil & gas resources, such as tight gas, shale gas, tight oil and CBM,and great progress in oil shale, gas hydrate, heavy oil and oil sand.China has an estimated(223-263)×10~8t of unconventional oil resources and(890-1260)×l0^(12)m^3 of gas resources.China has made a breakthrough for progress in unconventional oil & gas study.New progress achieved in fine-grained sedimentary studies related to continental open lacustrine basin large-scale shallow-water delta sand bodies, lacustrine basin central sandy clastic flow sediments and marine-continental fine-grained sediments provide a theoretical basis for the formation and distribution of basin central reservoir bodies.Great breakthroughs have been made in unconventional reservoir geology in respect of research methodology & technology,multi-scale data merging and physical simulation of formation conditions.Overall characterization of unconventional reservoirs via multi-method and multi-scale becomes increasingly popular and facilitates the rapid development of unconventional oil & gas geological theory, method and technology. The formation of innovative, continuous hydrocarbon accumulation theory, the establishment of the framework of the unconventional oil & gas geological theory system, and the determination of the implications, geological feature, formation mechanism, distribution rule and core technology of unconventional oil& gas geological study lays a theoretical foundation for extensive unconventional oil & gas exploration and development.Theories and technologies of unconventional oil & gas exploration and development developed rapidly, including some key evaluation techniques such as 'sweet spot zone' integrated evaluation and a six-property evaluation technique that uses hydrocarbon source, lithology, physical property, brittleness, hydrocarbon potential and stress anisotropy, and some key development &engineering technologies including micro-seismic monitoring, horizontal drilling & completion and 'factory-like' operation pattern, 'man-made reservoir' development, which have facilitated the innovative development of unconventional oil & gas. These breakthroughs define a new understanding in four aspects:①theoretical innovation;② key technologies;③ complete market mechanism and national policy support;and ④ well-developed ground infrastructure, which are significant for prolonging the life cycle of petroleum industry, accelerating the upgrade and development of theories and technologies and altering the global traditional energy structure. | ZOU Caineng YANG Zhi ZHU Rukai ZHANG Guosheng HOU Lianhua WU Songtao TAO Shizhen YUAN Xuanjun DONG Dazhong WANG Yuman WANG Lan HUANG Jinliang WANG Shufang | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 27
Diagenesis and Diagenetic Evolution of Deltaic and Neritic Gas-Bearing Sandstones in the Lower Mingyuefeng Formation of Paleogene, Lishui Sag, East China Sea Shelf Basin: Implications for Depositional Environments and Sequence Stratigraphy Controls显示文摘Gas-bearing deposits in the Lower Mingyuefeng Formation of Paleogene, Lishui Sag, East China Sea Shelf Basin consist of shoreface sandstones of the highstand systems tract(HST) and transgressive systems tract(TST), and deltaic sandstones of the lowstand systems tract(LST) and falling stage systems tract(FSST).Detailed petrographic observations suggest that the diagenetic features and related evolution of these deposits cannot be simply characterized and demonstrated in the depth domain. However, the occurrence of diagenetic minerals systematically depends on the studied interval within the HST, TST, LST, and FSST; therefore, diagenesis in this region can be better constrained when studied in the context of the depositional environments and sequence stratigraphic framework. The eogenetic processes in such settings include:(1) microcrystalline siderite precipitated as concretions in almost all environments and systems tracts, which inhibited further mechanical compaction;(2) grain dissolution and kaolinitization occurred in shoreface HST sandstones and deltaic LST and FSST sandstones;(3) glaucony was locally observed, which did not clearly reflect the controls of facies or sequence stratigraphy; and(4) cementation by pyrite aggregates occurred in the shoreface HST sandstones and deltaic LST sandstones. The mesogenetic diagenesis includes:(1) partial conversion of kaolinite into dickite in deltaic LST sandstones, and minor chlorite cementation in deltaic FSST sandstones;(2) transformation of kaolinite into illite and quartz cementation in deltaic LST and FSST sandstones;(3) frequent precipitation of ankerite and ferroan calcite in shoreface TST sandstones and early HST sandstones, forming baffles and barriers for fluid flow, with common calcite in shoreface HST sandstones as a late diagenetic cement; and(4) formation of dawsonite in the deltaic LST and FSST sandstones, which is interpreted to be a product of the invasion of a CO2-rich fluid, and acts as a good indicator of CO2-bearing reservoirs. This study has thus constructed a reliable conceptual model to describe the spatial and temporal distribution of diagenetic alterations. The results may provide an entirely new conceptual framework and methodology for successful gas exploration in the continental margins of offshore China, thus allowing us to predict and unravel the distribution and quality evolution of clastic reservoirs at a more detailed and reliable scale. | XU Fa ZHANG Penghui ZHANG Jinliang LIU Jinshui HOU Guowei ZHANG Ming LI Jingzhe LIU Shasha GUO Jiaqi MENG Ningning | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,5: | 5
Increased mitochondrial fission drives the reprogramming of fatty acid metabolism in hepatocellular carcinoma cells through suppression of Sirtuin 1显示文摘Background:Mitochondria are dynamic organelles that constantly change their morphology through fission and fusion processes.Recently, abnormally increased mitochondrial fission has been observed in several types of can-cer.However,the functional roles of increased mitochondrial fission in lipid metabolism reprogramming in cancer cells remain unclear. This study aimed to explore the role of increased mitochondrial fission in lipid metabolism in hepa-tocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells. Methods:Lipid metabolism was determined by evaluating the changes in the expressions of core lipid metabolic enzymes and intracellular lipid content. The rate of fatty acid oxidation was evaluated by[PH]-labelled oleic acid. The mito-chondrial morphology in HCC cells was evaluated by fluorescent staining. The expression of protein was determined by real-time PCR,imnmunohistochemistry and Western blotting. Results:Activation of mitochondrial fission significantly promoted de novo fatty acid synthesis in HCC cells through upregulating the expression of lipogenic genes fatty acid synthase(FASN),acetyl-CoA carboxylasel(ACCI),and elonga-tion of very long chain fatty acid protein 6(ELOVL6),while suppressed fatty acid oxidation by downregulating carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1A(CPTIA)and acyl-CoA oxidase 1(ACOX1).Consistently,suppressed mitochondrial fission exhibited the opposite effects. Moreover,in vitro and in vivo studies revealed that mitochondrial fission-induced lipid metabolism reprogramming significantly promoted the proliferation and metastasis of HCC cells.Mechanistically,mito-chondrial fission increased the acetylation level of sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1(SREBPI)and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor coaC-tivator 1 alpha(PGC-1a)by suppressing nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD+)/Sirtuin 1(SIRTI)signaling.The elevated SREBP1 then upregulated the expression of FASN,ACC1 and ELOVL6 in HCC cells, while PGC-1c/PPARa sup-pressed the expression of CPTIA and ACOXL Conclusions:Increased mitochondrial fission plays a crucial role in the repro-gramming of lipid metabolism in HCC cells, which provides strong evidence for the use of this process as a drug target in the treatment of this malignancy. | Dan Wu Yi Yang Yiran Hou Zifeng Zhao Ning Liang Peng Yuan Tao Yang Jinliang Xing Jibin Li | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,1: | 4
Efficient dehydration of carbohydrates to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in ionic liquids catalyzed by tin(Ⅳ) phosphonate and zirconium phosphonate显示文摘In this work,we synthesized tin(IV)phosphonate(SnBPMA)and zirconium phosphonate(ZrBPMA)by the reaction of SnCl4·5H2O or ZrOCl2·8H2O with N,N-bis(phosphonomethyl)aminoacetic acid, which was synthesized from a biomaterial glycine through a Mannich-type reaction. The SnBPMA and ZrBPMA were very efficient heterogeneous catalysts for the dehydration of fructose to produce 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF),and the SnBPMA had higher activity than the ZrBPMA.The effects of solvents, temperature, reaction time, and reactant/solvent weight ratio on the reaction catalyzed by SnBPMA were investigated. It was demonstrated that the yield of HMF could reach 86.5%with 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide([Emim]Br)as solvent, and the SnBPMA and SnBPMA/[Emim]Br catalytic system could be reused five times without considerable reduction in catalytic efficiency.Further study indicated that the SnBPMA and ZrBPMA in[Emim]Br were also effective for the dehydration of sucrose and inulin to produce HMF with satisfactory yields. | NING Hui SONG JinLiang HOU MinQiang YANG DeZhong FAN HongLei HAN BuXing | 2013 | Science China Chemistry2013,56,11: | 1
The genomic and bulked segregant analysis of Curcuma alismatifolia revealed its diverse bract pigmentation显示文摘Compared with most flowers where the showy part comprises specialized leaves(petals)directly subtending the reproductive structures, most Zingiberaceae species produce showy“flowers”through modifications of leaves(bracts)subtending the true flowers throughout an inflorescence.Curcuma alismatifolia, belonging to the Zingiberaceae family,a plant species originating from Southeast Asia, has become increasingly popular in the flower market worldwide because of its varied and esthetically pleasing bracts produced in different cultivars. Here,we present the chromosome-scale genome assembly of C.alismatifolia“Chiang Mai Pink”and explore the underlying mechanisms of bract pigmentation.Comparative genomic analysis revealed C.alismatifolia contains a residual signal of whole-genome duplication.Duplicated genes, including pigment-related genes, exhibit functional and structural differentiation resulting in diverse bract colors among C.alismatifolia cultivars. In addition,we identified the key genes that produce different colored bracts in C.alismatifolia, such as F3′5'H,DFR,ANS and several transcription factors for anthocyanin synthesis,as well as chlH and CAO in the chlorophyll synthesis pathway by conducting transcriptomic analysis, bulked segregant analysis using both DNA and RNA data, and population genomic analysis. This work provides data for understanding the mechanism of bract pigmentation and will accelerate breeding in developing novel cultivars with richly colored bracts in C.alismatifolia and related species. It is also important to understand the variation in the evolution of the Zingiberaceae family. | Xuezhu Liao Yuanjun Ye Xiaoni Zhang Dan Peng Mengmeng Hou Gaofei Fu Jianjun Tan Jianli Zhao Rihong Jiang Yechun Xu Jinmei Liu Jinliang Yang Wusheng Liu Luke RTembrock Genfa Zhu Zhiqiang Wu | 2022 | aBIOTECH2022,3,3: | 1

Electrocardiogram abnormalities and higher body mass index as clinically applicable factors for predicting poor outcome in patients with coronavirus disease 2019显示文摘Background:Patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)have high resource utilization.Identifying the causes of severe COVID-19 is helpful for early intervention to reduce the consumption of medical resources. Methods:We included 103 patients with COVID-19 in this single-center observational study. To evaluate the incidence, predictors, and effects of COVID-19,we analyzed demographic information, laboratory results, comorbidities, and vital signs as factors for association with severe COVID-19.Results:The incidence of severe COVID-19 was 16.5%and the percent poor outcome(including mortality, entering in ICU or transferred to a superior hospital)was 6.8%.The majority of severe COVID-19 patients had abnormal electrocardiogram(ECG)(82.35%),hypertension(76.47%)and other cardiac diseases(58.82%).Multivariate logistic regression was used to determine the predictors of severe illness.Abnormal body mass index(BMI)and ECG(P<0.05)were independent predictors of severe COVID-19.ECG abnormality was associated with increased odds of poor outcome(area under the receiver operating characteristic curves[AUC],0.793;P=0.010)and severe COVID-19(AUC,0.807;P<0.0001).Overweight was also associated with increased odds of poor outcome(AUC,0.728;P=0.045)and severe illness COVID-19(AUC,0.816;P<0.0001).Conclusion:Overweight and electrophysiological disorders on admission are important predictors of prognosis of patients with COVID-19. | Zhidan Sun Yan Hou Zheng Zhang Benzhi Cai Jinliang Li | 2022 | Frigid Zone Medicine2022,2,4: | 0
Detecting the intrinsic Baldwin Effect of the optical FeII complex in Luminous Seyfert 1 Galaxy Fairall 9显示文摘We analyze the optical spectra of Fairall 9,a luminous Seyfert 1 galaxy. They are obtained from the AGN Watch program that has monitored this object for 9 months. The flux and variation of the optical FeII complex is measured using multi-component profile modeling with FeⅡ templates.A convincing intrinsic Baldwin Effect(BEff) of optical FeⅡ emission blends in Fairall 9 is discovered for the first time. The variation of FeⅡ/Hβ(RFe) in Fairall 9 is obtained. We also detect a marginal anti-correla tion between RFe and the continuum flux in its spectra. This anti-correlation and the relatively broad profile of Hβ in this galaxy support the dichotomy reported by Wang et al.(2005). | HAN XuHui WANG Jing WEI JianYan YANG DaWei HOU JinLiang | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,2: | 0
