1Biomass-derived porous carbon highly efficient for removal of Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ)显示文摘The utilization of abundant and renewable biomass to fabricate advanced functional materials is considered a promising route for environmental applications.Herein,Lignin-based porous carbon with layered graphene-like structure(LPC)is successfully synthesized and applied to efficiently remove Pb(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ).The as-synthesized LPC materials are systematically characterized and these results show that LPC has a porous graphene-like structure,facilitating the diffusion and immobilization of heavy metal ions.The influence of different reaction parameters(solution pH,initial concentration of metal ions,contact time and adsorbent amount)on the adsorption performance is investigated in details.The results demonstrate that LPC can achieve superior adsorption capacities of 250.5 mg·g^-1 for Pb(Ⅱ)and 126.4 mg·g^-1 for Cd(Ⅱ),which are far superior to the previously reported adsorbents.Pseudo-second order kinetics model and Freundlich isotherm model describe the adsorption process well.Furthermore,the exhausted LPC can be regenerated easily and exhibits the removal efficiency of 96%and 92%for Pb(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)after five continuous runs,respectively.This study shows a sustainable strategy for the design of porous carbon material from na?ve biomass and highlights the great potential in wastewater treatment.Anqi Wang Zhikeng Zheng Ruiqi Li Di Hu Yiran Lu Huixia Luo Kai Yan 2019Green Energy & Environment2019,4,4:10
2A New Method of Wind Turbine Bearing Fault Diagnosis Based on Multi-Masking Empirical Mode Decomposition and Fuzzy C-Means Clustering显示文摘Based on Multi-Masking Empirical Mode Decomposition (MMEMD) and fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering, a new method of wind turbine bearing fault diagnosis FCM-MMEMD is proposed, which can determine the fault accurately and timely. First, FCM clustering is employed to classify the data into different clusters, which helps to estimate whether there is a fault and how many fault types there are. If fault signals exist, the fault vibration signals are then demodulated and decomposed into different frequency bands by MMEMD in order to be analyzed further. In order to overcome the mode mixing defect of empirical mode decomposition (EMD), a novel method called MMEMD is proposed. It is an improvement to masking empirical mode decomposition (MEMD). By adding multi-masking signals to the signals to be decomposed in different levels, it can restrain low-frequency components from mixing in highfrequency components effectively in the sifting process and then suppress the mode mixing. It has the advantages of easy implementation and strong ability of suppressing modal mixing. The fault type is determined by Hilbert envelope finally. The results of simulation signal decomposition showed the high performance of MMEMD. 3Optimization of broadband omnidirectional antireflection coatings for solar cells显示文摘Broadband and omnidirectional antireflection coating is generally an effective way to improve solar cell efficiency, because the destructive interference between the reflected and incident light can maximize the light transmission into the absorption layer. In this paper, we report the incident quantum efficiency ηin, not incident energy or power, as the evaluation function by the ant colony algorithm optimization method, which is a swarm-based optimization method. Also, SPCTRL2 is proposed to be incorporated for accurate optimization because the solar irradiance on a receiver plane is dependent on position, season, and time. Cities of Quito, Beijing and Moscow are selected for two-and three-layer antireflective coating optimization over λ = [300,1100] nm and θ = [0°, 90°]. 4Impact of damping on high speed 850 nm VCSEL performance显示文摘High speed VCSELs are important optical devices in short-reach optical communication links and interconnects because of their low cost and high modulation speeds. In this paper, the impact of damping on the their static and dynamic characteristics is analyzed and demonstrated. Through the shallow corrosion of the top layer DBR, the VCSELs with different damping is designed and fabricated. With the increase of the surface etch depth from 0 to ~55 nm for 9 μm oxide-aperture VCSEL, the K factor related with the damping is reduced from0.31 to 0.23 ns^(-1). When the etch depth of the VCSEL with 9 μm oxide-aperture is decreased to ~25 nm,output power is increased from 4.03 to 4.70 mW and small signal modulation bandwidth is also increased from15.46 to 16.37 GHz. 5Epidemiological Characteristics of Occupational Cancers Reported—China,2006−2020显示文摘Introduction:Occupational cancers are a major threat to workers’health in China.The latest version of the Classification and Catalogue of the Occupational Diseases includes 11 occupational cancers.This study analyzed the epidemiological characteristics of occupational cancers in China reported to the National Occupational Disease Reporting System during 2006−2020.Methods:Occupational cancers reported during 2016−2020 were obtained from the National Occupational Disease Reporting System.Epidemiological characteristics were analyzed by year,region,industry,gender,age at diagnosis,and exposure duration to occupational hazards.Results:Overall,a total of 1,116 cases of occupational cancers were reported between 2006 and 2020.The main types reported were leukemia caused by benzene exposure(511,45.79%),lung cancer caused by coke oven exhaust exposure(266,23.84%),and lung cancer and mesothelioma caused by asbestos exposure(226,20.25%).There were 6 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)that had reported over 50 new cases in the last 15 years.Most cases(913,81.18%)were distributed in the manufacturing industry.There were 870(77.96%)male cases and 246(22.04%)female cases.The average age at diagnosis of all reported cases was 51.91±15.85 years,and the median exposure duration to occupational hazards was 12(5.29−23.25)years.Conclusions:There is a large discrepancy between the high morbidity of occupational cancers and a low number of cases diagnosed and reported cases.Occupational cancers in China may be underestimated,and comprehensive measures should be taken to improve the diagnosis and reporting of occupational cancers.Xinxin Li Dan Wang Anqi Liu Weijiang Hu Xin Sun 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,17:2

7Utilizing morpholine for purely organic room temperature phosphors显示文摘In this article,morpholine,a non-conjugated heterocycle,is embedded intoπsystem to construct single-component organic room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)luminogens.The effect of morpholine on intermolecular interaction,crystal packing modes,and RTP performance is investigated systematically.The experimental and theoretical calculation results illustrate the versatility of morpholine in promoting the n-π*transition and intensifying the intermolecular interactions,which not only enhances the generation of triplet excitons,but also suppresses the nonradiative decay of triplet excitons.Impressively,TMPh containing three morpholine units shows an ultralong lifetime of 1.03 s and a visible afterglow up to 10 s.The unique dual delayed emission and long afterglow property allow potential application of morpholine derivatives in data encryption,and the time-dependent color change of afterglow emission is realized after removing the excitation source,providing a high-level data security.This article provides a new perspective for the design of purely organic RTP system without utilization of metal,or even any heavy atoms.Dongyan Jiang Tong Lu Chunya Du Futong Liu Zhenyu Yan Dehua Hu Anqi Shang Lei Gao Ping Lu Yuguang Ma 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,4:1

9Molecular mechanism of lycopene cyclases regulating carotenoids ratio in different branches during tea leaf and flower development显示文摘Carotenoids are essential components in tea quality, contributing to leaf color and aroma. However, little information about carotenoids in different tea cultivars and their biosynthesis regulation mechanism during leaf development is known. Here we analyzed carotenoids by HPLC in the buds and leaves of 113 tea cultivars harvested on the same day. By profile clustering, carotenoids were divided into five groups. Same group cultivars displayed divergence in the total content of carotenoids but a similar molar ratio. To figure out the molecular mechanisms of this phenomenon, we further characterized all functional lycopene cyclases, which are the branch point of the carotenoid biosynthesis pathway. Two β-lycopene cyclases(CsLCYB1 and CsLCYB2) and one ε-lycopene cyclase(CsLCYE1) were cloned. Subcellular localization analysis showed that all cloned CsLCYs were localized in plastids. Enzyme activity assays in E. coli indicated both CsLCYBs catalyzed lycopene into β-carotene, and CsLCYE1 produced δ-carotene and ε-carotene. We found CsLCYB1 and CsLCYE1 predominantly expressed in leaf, while CsLCYB2was mainly expressed during flowering stages. Suppression by antisense oligonucleotides reduced CsLCYB1 and CsLCYE1 transcripts and led to reduction of both β,β-branch and β,ε-branch carotenoids in leaf. The expression levels of CsLCYB1 showed a significant positive correlation withβ,β-branch carotenoids in leaf. Our study provides carotenoid profiles of different tea cultivars, which can assist tea producers in selecting cultivars of interest. 10On the improvement of power conversion efficiency of parametric arrays显示文摘Due to the low power conversion efficiency of parametric array, the proposed method can be used to improve the power conversion efficiencies of parametric arrays by adjusting the specific acoustic impedance. The Kuznetsov equation that describes parametric arrays is first studied, the inffuence of Lagrangian densities on difference frequency wave is analyzed,and the relationship between the Lagrangian density and the acoustic impedance is obtained.Subsequently, the method of arranging perforated plates around the parametric array to adjust the acoustic impedance is proposed. The proposed method is validated through numerical simulations. 11Wet nitrogen oxidation technology and its anisotropy influence on VCSELs显示文摘Vertical cavity surface emitting lasers(VCSELs) are widely used in optical communications and optical interconnects due to their advantages of low threshold, low power consumption and so on. Wet nitrogen oxidation technology, which utilizes H20 molecules to oxidize the Al_(0.98)Ga_(0.02)As, is used for electrical and optical mode confinement. In this paper, the effects of oxidation time, oxidation temperature and oxidation anisotropy on the oxidation rate are explored and demonstrated. The ratio of oxidation rate on [0-11] to [011] crystal orientation is defined as oxidation anisotropy coefficient, which decreases with the increase of oxidation temperature and oxidation time. In order to analyze the effect of the oxidation anisotropy on the VCSEL performance, an oxide-aperture of the VCSELs with two difference shapes is designed and then fabricated. The static performance of these fabricated VCSELs has been measured,whose threshold current ratio ~0.714 is a good agreement with that of the theoretical calculation value ~0.785. 14A telomere-to-telomere genome assembly of Zhonghuang 13,a widely-grown soybean variety from the original center of Glycine max显示文摘Soybean(Glycine max)stands as a globally significant agricultural crop,and the comprehensive assembly of its genome is of paramount importance for unraveling its biological characteristics and evolutionary history.Nevertheless,previous soybean genome assemblies have harbored gaps and incompleteness,which have constrained in-depth investigations into soybean.Here,we present Telomere-to-Telomere(T2T)assembly of the Chinese soybean cultivar Zhonghuang 13(ZH13)genome,termed ZH13-T2T,utilizing PacBio Hifi and ONT ultralong reads.We employed a multi-assembler approach,integrating Hifiasm,NextDenovo,and Canu,to minimize biases and enhance assembly accuracy.The assembly spans 1,015,024,879 bp,effectively resolving all 393 gaps that previously plagued the reference genome.Our annotation efforts identified 50,564 high-confidence protein-coding genes,707 of which are novel.ZH13-T2T revealed longer chromosomes,421 not-aligned regions(NARs),112 structure variations(SVs),and a substantial expansion of repetitive element compared to earlier assemblies.Specifically,we identified 25.67 Mb of tandem repeats,an enrichment of 5S and 48S rDNAs,and characterized their genotypic diversity.In summary,we deliver the first complete Chinese soybean cultivar T2T genome.The comprehensive annotation,along with precise centromere and telomere characterization,as well as insights into structural variations,further enhance our understanding of soybean genetics and evolution.Anqi Zhang Tangchao Kong Baiquan Sun Shizheng Qiu Jiahe Guo Shuyong Ruan Yu Guo Jirui Guo Zhishuai Zhang Yue Liu Zheng Hu Tao Jiang Yadong Liu Shuqi Cao Shi Sun Tingting Wu Huilong Hong Bingjun Jiang Maoxiang Yang Xiangyu Yao Yang Hu Bo Liu Tianfu Han Yadong Wang 2024The Crop Journal2024,12,1:0

16Optimization of hot-air microwave combined drying control system based on air outlet temperature and humidity monitoring显示文摘Microwave drying is one of the most important drying methods in agriculture.The online measurement and control of material dried,as a challenging research issue,is helping to improve the drying quality of the final product and the energy utilization efficiency of microwave dryers.In order to realize the online measurement of temperature in microwave drying,a detection strategy was based on the temperature and humidity monitoring at the air outlet of coupling hot air and microwave drying method.LabVIEW programming software was employed to collect the temperature and humidity signal value at the outlet of the dryer to estimate the drying degree of the material.According to the amount of moisture removal in real-time,the microwave input power was adjusted gradually in the microwave drying process.Taking potato as material dried,the microwave power of microwave and hot air coupling drying is monitored to realize the real-time regulation.The results showed that the total color difference value of the product of 3.09,the rehydration ratio of 2.92,the unit energy consumption of 17419.35 kJ/kg,and the drying rate of 0.442 g/s were obtained.The minimum comprehensive weighted score of the product was 26.36.Compared with the orthogonal experiment,the optimal drying process was obtained as the total color difference value of the product of 2.84,the rehydration ratio of 3.01,the unit energy consumption of 17419.35 kJ/kg,and the drying rate of 0.397 g/s.The minimum comprehensive weighted score of the product was 20.67,and the difference was not significant.The control strategy not only solves the non-uniform phenomenon of drying,and makes the microwave drying real-time and continuous,but also improves the drying efficiency and quality.Fujie Zhang Anqi’er Hu Ruikai Song Lixia Li 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,4:0

18Glioblastoma cell-derived exosomes functionalized with peptides as efficient nanocarriers for synergistic chemotherapy of glioblastoma with improved biosafety显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)has been regarded as one of the most deadly and challenging cancers to treat with extremely poor prognosis.The limited efficacy of current chemotherapies might be attributed to the presence of glioma stem cells(GSCs)as well as the difficulties in passing through the blood–brain barrier(BBB)and targeting tumor cells.Tumor-derived exosomes are emerging as novel and promising drug delivery systems.However,great concerns regarding the biosafety and BBB penetrability remain to be addressed.Herein,we have developed a simple and feasible strategy to engineer GBM cell-derived exosomes with improved biosafety termed“Exo@TDPs”to deliver the cargos of chemotherapeutic agents temozolomide(TMZ)and doxorubicin(DOX)into GBM tissues.Exo@TDPs decorated with angiopep-2(Ang-2)and CD133-targeted peptides improve the capacity to penetrate the BBB and target tumor cells.Both in vitro and in vivo studies demonstrate that Exo@TDPs can cross the BBB,target GBM cells,penetrate into deep tumor parenchyma,and release the therapeutic cargos effectively.Synergistic delivery of TMZ and DOX by Exo@TDPs exerts therapeutic effects to suppress the tumor growth and prolong the survival time of orthotopic syngeneic mouse GBM models.These findings suggest that our developed Exo@TDPs loaded with chemotherapeutic drugs may bring new possibilities for the application of tumor cell-derived exosomes for brain tumor treatment.Ying Zhou Long Wang Lufei Chen Wei Wu Zhimin Yang Yuanzhuo Wang Anqi Wang Sujun Jiang Xuzhen Qin Zucheng Ye Zhiyuan Hu Zihua Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,12:0
