4Influences of blood lipids on the occurrence and prognosis of hemorrhagic transformation after acute cerebral infarction: a case-control study of 732 patients显示文摘Background: To study the influence of blood lipid levels on hemorrhagic transformation(HT) and prognosis after acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods: Patients with ACI within 72 h of symptoms onset between January 1 st, 2015, and December 31 st, 2016, were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were divided into group A(without HT) and group B(HT). The outcomes were assessed after 3 months of disease onset using the modified Rankin Scale(m RS). An m RS score of 0–2 points indicated excellent prognosis, and an m RS score of 3–6 points indicated poor prognosis.Results: A total of 732 patients conformed to the inclusion criteria, including 628 in group A and 104 in group B. The incidence of HT was 14.2%, and the median onset time was 2 d(interquartile range, 1–7 d). The percentages of patients with large infarct size and cortex involvement in group B were 80.8% and 79.8%, respectively, which were both significantly higher than those in group A(28.7 and 33.4%, respectively). The incidence rate of atrial fibrillation(AF) in group B was significantly higher than that in group A(39.4% vs. 13.9%, P<0.001). The adjusted multivariate analysis results showed that large infarct size, cortex involvement and AF were independent risk factors of HT, while total cholesterol(TC) was a protective factor of HT(OR=0.359, 95% CI 0.136–0.944, P=0.038). With every 1 mmol/L reduction in normal TC levels, the risk of HT increased by 64.1%. The mortality and morbidity at 3 months in group B(21.2% and 76.7%, respectively) were both significantly higher than those in group A(8.0% and 42.8%, respectively). The adjusted multivariate analysis results showed that large infarct size(OR=12.178, 95% CI 5.390–27.516, P<0.001) was an independent risk factor of long-term unfavorable outcomes, whereas low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) was a protective factor(OR=0.538, 95% CI 0.300–0.964, P=0.037). With every 1 mmol/L reduction in normal LDL-C levels, the risk of an unfavorable outcome increased by 46.2%. Major therapies, including intravenous recombinant human tissue plasminogen activator(r TPA), intensive lipid-lowering statins and anti-platelets, were not significantly related to either HT or long-term, post-ACI poor prognosis.Conclusions: For patients with large infarct sizes, especially those with cortex involvement, AF, or lower levels of TC, the risk of HT might increase after ACI. 6A survey of numerical algorithms for trajectory optimization of flight vehicles显示文摘As one of the important components of computational flight mechanics and control,numerical algorithms of trajectory optimization for flight vehicles are currently studied by many researchers in aerospace engineering to completely solve these difficult problems,but few papers on the survey of this research field have been published recently.Based on the investigation of more than one hundred literatures,considering the application perspectives of computational flight mechanics and recent developments of trajectory optimization,the numerical algorithms of trajectory optimizations for aerospace vehicles are summarized and systematically analyzed.This paper summarized the basic principle,characteristics and application for all kinds of current trajectory optimization algorithms;and introduced some new methods and theories appearing in recent years.Finally,collaborative trajectory optimization for many flight vehicles,and hypersonic vehicle trajectory optimization were mainly reviewed in this paper.In the conclusion of this paper,the future research properties are presented regarding to numerical algorithms of trajectory optimization and control for flight vehicles as follows:collaboration and antagonization for many flight vehicles and multiple targets,global,real-time online,high accuracy of 7-D trajectory,considering all kinds of unknown random disturbances in trajectory optimization,and so on.HUANG GuoQiang LU YuPing NAN Ying 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9:32
7Strategic Interaction in Spending on Environmental Protection:Spatial Evidence from Chinese Cities显示文摘In China,the responsibility of protecting the environment lies largely with local governments. Within the framework of spatial econometrics,we investigate empirically the consequence of such an institutional setting.Using city-level data for China,the present study finds that city governments behave strategically in making spending decisions regarding environmental protection.This paper finds that a city government appears to cut its own spending as a response to the rise in environmental protection spending by its neighbors.Hence, environmental protection tends to be underprovided.As a result,we suggest that centralizing the environmental protection responsibility to a higher level of government would be beneficial in terms of controlling pollution in China.Huihui Deng Xinye Zheng Nan Huang Fanghua Li 2012China & World Economy2012,20,5:33
8Fecal microbiota transplantation prevents hepatic encephalopathy in rats with carbon tetrachloride-induced acute hepatic dysfunction显示文摘AIM To investigate whether fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) prevents hepatic encephalopathy(HE) in rats with carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-induced acute hepatic dysfunction.METHODS A rat model of HE was established with CCl4. Rat behaviors and spatial learning capability were observed, and hepatic necrosis, intestinal mucosal barrier, serum ammonia levels and intestinal permeability were determined in HE rats receiving FMT treatment. Furthermore, the expression of tight junction proteins(Claudin-1, Claudin-6 and Occludin), Toll-like receptor(TLR) 4/TLR9, interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α was examined.RESULTS FMT improved rat behaviors, HE grade and spatial learning capability. Moreover, FMT prevented hepaticnecrosis and intestinal mucosal barrier damage, leading to hepatic clearance of serum ammonia levels and reduced intestinal permeability. The expression of TLR4 and TLR9, two potent mediators of inflammatory response, was significantly downregulated in the liver of rats treated with FMT. Consistently, circulating proinflammatory factors such as interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α were remarkably decreased, indicating that FMT is able to limit systemic inflammation by decreasing the expression of TLR4 and TLR9. Importantly, HE-induced loss of tight junction proteins(Claudin-1, Claudin-6 and Occludin) was restored in intestinal tissues of rats receiving FMT treatment. CONCLUSION FMT enables protective effects in HE rats, and it improves the cognitive function and reduces the liver function indexes. 9Orbit determination for Chang'E-2 lunar probe and evaluation of lunar gravity models显示文摘The Unified S-Band(USB) ranging/Doppler system and the Very Long Baseline Interferometry(VLBI) system as the ground tracking system jointly supported the lunar orbit capture of both Chang'E-2(CE-2) and Chang'E-1(CE-1) missions.The tracking system is also responsible for providing precise orbits for scientific data processing.New VLBI equipment and data processing strategies have been proposed based on CE-1 experiences and implemented for CE-2.In this work the role VLBI tracking data played was reassessed through precision orbit determination(POD) experiments for CE-2.Significant improvement in terms of both VLBI delay and delay rate data accuracy was achieved with the noise level of X-band band-width synthesis delay data reaching 0.2-0.3 ns.Short-arc orbit determination experiments showed that the combination of only 15 min's range and VLBI data was able to improve the accuracy of 3 h's orbit using range data only by a 1-1.5 order of magnitude,confirming a similar conclusion for CE-1.Moreover,because of the accuracy improvement,VLBI data was able to contribute to CE-2's long-arc POD especially in the along-track and orbital normal directions.Orbital accuracy was assessed through the orbital overlapping analysis(2 h arc overlapping for 18 h POD arc).Compared with about 100 m position error of CE-1's 200 km 200 km lunar orbit,for CE-2's 100 km 100 km lunar orbit,the position errors were better than 31 and 6 m in the radial direction,and for CE-2's 15 km 100 km orbit,the position errors were better than 45 and 12 m in the radial direction.In addition,in trying to analyze the Delta Differential One-Way Ranging(DOR) experiments data we concluded that the accuracy of DOR delay was dramatically improved with the noise level better than 0.1 ns and systematic errors better calibrated,and the Short-arc POD tests with DOR data showed excellent results.Although unable to support the development of an independent lunar gravity model,the tracking data of CE-2 provided evaluations of different lunar gravity models through POD.It is found that for the 100 km 100 km lunar orbit,with a degree and order expansion up to 165,JPL's gravity model LP165P did not show noticeable improvement over Japan's SGM series models(100×100),but for the 15 km×100 km lunar orbit,a higher degree-order model can significantly improve the orbit accuracy.Li PeiJia Hu XiaoGong Huang Yong Wang GuangLi Jiang DongRong Zhang XiuZhong Cao JianFeng Xin Nan 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,3:30
10Strata movement controlling effect of waste and fly ash backfillings in fully mechanized coal mining with backfilling face显示文摘A fully mechanized coal mining with backfilling (FMCMB) provides advantages of safety and efficiency for coal mining under buildings, railways, and water bodies. According to the field geological conditions, we analyzed the controlling effect of strata movement by the waste and fly ash backfilling in FMCMB face. Based on the key strata theory, we established the equivalent mining thickness model, and analyzed the action of the bulk factor of backfilling body to the equivalent mining thickness. In addition, we numerically simulated the controlling function of the strata movement by backfilling bodies with differ- ent strength. And the numerical simulation result show that the deformation of stratum and the subsi- dence of surface can be controlled by FMCMB. 12Effects of plastic film mulching on soil greenhouse gases(CO2,CH4 and N2O) concentration within soil profiles in maize fields on the Loess Plateau,China显示文摘To better understand the effects of plastic film mulching on soil greenhouse gases(GHGs) emissions,we compared seasonal and vertical variations of GHG concentrations at seven soil depths in maize(Zea mays L.) fields at Changwu station in Shaanxi,a semi-humid region,between 2012 and 2013.Gas samples were taken simultaneously every one week from non-mulched(BP) and plastic film-mulched(FM) field plots.The results showed that the concentration of GHGs varied distinctly at the soil-atmosphere interface and in the soil profile during the maize growing season(MS).Both carbon dioxide(CO_2) and nitrous oxide(N_2O) concentrations increased with increasement of soil depth,while the methane(CH_4)concentrations decreased with increasement of soil depth.A strong seasonal variation pattern was found for CO_2 and N_2O concentrations,as compared to an inconspicuous seasonal variation of CH_4 concentrations.The mean CO_2 and N_2O concentrations were higher,but the mean CH_4 concentration in the soil profiles was lower in the FM plots than in the BP plots.The results of this study suggested that plastic film mulching significantly increased the potential emissions of CO_2and N_2O from the soil,and promoted CH_4 absorption by the soil,particularly during the MS.NAN Wei-ge YUE Shan-chao HUANG Hai-zhou LI Shi-qing SHEN Yu-fang 2016Journal of Integrative Agriculture2016,15,2:25
13Changed clinical aspects of primary liver cancer in China during the past 30 years显示文摘BACKGROUND: Primary liver cancer (PLC) is one of the most frequently seen tumors in China. Thirty years ago, patients with PLC were often detected at relatively late stage, with a palpable mass or marked clinical symptoms and poor prognosis. In the past 30 years, the diagnosis and treatment of PLC have been greatly improved with better prognosis. METHODS: In order to study the changes of PLC during the 30 years, the clinical data of 3250 patients with PLC from 10 medical institutions of China were collected, ana- lyzed , and compared with those of 3254 PLC patients be- fore the 30 years. RESULTS: In the 3250 patients aged 1-80 years, with an average age of 49.1 years, the male to female ratio (2.3:1) was lower than that before the 30 years. 73.5% of the 3250 patients sought medical advice within 3 months after the onset of the disease in contrast to 63.8% before the 30 years. Compared with those patients before the 30 years the symptoms and signs were alleviated generally. The HBsAg positive rate was 81.0%, but the HCV-Ab positive rate was 13.2%. The AFP level in 75% of patients was elevated, but in the remaining 25% was normal. 1912 patients (58.8%) were confirmed pathologically. Among them 1755 patients (91.8%) had hepatocellular carcinoma. The overall resec- tion rate was 46.3%. Those who had early, middle, late stage carcinoma accounted for 29.9%, 51.5%, and 18.6%respectively in contrast to 0.4%, 47.0%, and 52.6% repor- ted before the 30 years. The 1-, 3-, 5-year survival rates of the patients were 66.1%, 39.7%, and 32.5% respectively, whereas 93.5%, 70.1%, and 59.1% for the early stage pa- tients, and 65.3%, 30.5%, and 23.5% for the middle stage patients. The half and 1-year survival rates of the late stage patients were 52.5%, and 14.7%, respectively. CONCLUSION: Comparison with the clinical data before and after the 30 years show that PLC can be diagnosed ear- ly. 15Suppression of Fusarium Wilt of Banana with Application of Bio-Organic Fertilizers显示文摘Fusarium wilt is one of the most serious diseases of banana plants caused by soil-borne pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense(FOC). In this study a pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of different bio-organic fertilizers(BIOs) on Fusarium wilt of banana, including the investigations of disease incidence, chitinase and β-1,3-glucanase activities of banana plants, and FOC populations as well as soil rhizosphere microbial community. Five fertilization treatments were considered, including chemical fertilizer containing the same N, P and K concentrations as the BIO(control), and matured compost mixed with antagonists Paenibacillus polymyxa SQR-21 and Trichoderma harzianum T37(BIO1), Bacillus amyloliquefaciens N6(BIO2), Bacillus subtilis N11(BIO3), and the combination of N6 and N11(BIO4). The results indicated that the application of BIOs significantly decreased the incidence rate of Fusarium wilt by up to 80% compared with the control. BIOs also significantly promoted plant growth, and increased chitinase andβ-1,3-glucanase activities by 55%–65% and 17.3%–120.1%, respectively, in the banana roots. The population of FOC in the rhizosphere soil was decreased significantly to about 104 colony forming units g-1with treatment of BIOs. Serial dilution plating and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis analysis revealed that the application of BIOs increased the densities of bacteria and actinomycetes but decreased the number of fungi in the rhizosphere soil. 16The dominant driving force for supercontinent breakup: Plume push or subduction retreat?显示文摘Understanding the dominant force responsible for supercontinent breakup is crucial for establishing Earth's geodynamic evolution that includes supercontinent cycles and plate tectonics. Conventionally,two forces have been considered: the push by mantle plumes from the sub-continental mantle which is called the active force for breakup, and the dragging force from oceanic subduction retreat which is called the passive force for breakup. However, the relative importance of these two forces is unclear. Here we model the supercontinent breakup coupled with global mantle convection in order to address this question. Our global model features a spherical harmonic degree-2 structure, which includes a major subduction girdle and two large upwelling(superplume) systems. Based on this global mantle structure,we examine the distribution of extensional stress applied to the supercontinent by both subsupercontinent mantle upwellings and subduction retreat at the supercontinent peripheral. Our results show that:(1) at the center half of the supercontinent, plume push stress is ~3 times larger than the stress induced by subduction retreat;(2) an average hot anomaly of no higher than 50 K beneath the supercontinent can produce a push force strong enough to cause the initialization of supercontinent breakup;(3) the extensional stress induced by subduction retreat concentrates on a ~600 km wide zone on the boundary of the supercontinent, but has far less impact to the interior of the supercontinent. 19Altered intrinsic functional connectivity of the primary visual cortex in youth patients with comitant exotropia: a resting state fMRI study显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the differences in the functional connectivity(FC) of the primary visual cortex(V1) between the youth comitant exotropia(CE) patients and health subjects using resting functional magnetic resonance imaging(f MRI) data.METHODS: Totally, 32 CEs(25 males and 7 females) and 32 healthy control subjects(HCs)(25 males and 7 females) were enrolled in the study and underwent the MRI scanning. Two-sample t-test was used to examine differences in FC maps between the CE patients and HCs. RESULTS: The CE patients showed significantly less FC between the left brodmann area(BA17) and left lingual gyrus/cerebellum posterior lobe, right middle occipital gyrus, left precentral gyrus/postcentral gyrus and right inferior parietal lobule/postcentral gyrus.
