2Responses of rice growth to copper stress under free-air CO_2 enrichment (FACE)显示文摘The responses of rice to the second degree contamination of copper were studied by pot experiments under free-air CO2 enrichment (FACE) with 570 μmol·mol-1 of CO2. The results showed that the content of copper in rice leaves was reduced with the CO2 concentration reaching 570 μmol·mol-1 and this happened more significantly under the second degree contamination of copper. Under FACE, activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) enzyme in rice leaves treated by copper contamination were induced, whereas the contents of glutathione (GSH) and glutathione disulfide (GSSG) had no significant difference from the control. In the presence of ambient CO2, activities of SOD enzyme treated by copper pollution were suppressed during the whole rice growth, however, the contents of GSH and GSSG were induced at tillering and jointing stages, and then restored to the control levels in later growth under the second degree contamination of copper. With the rice growing, the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) rises continuously, but there had been no significant difference between the treatments at the same growth stage. 3The long rather than the short allele of 5-HTTLPR predisposes Han Chinese to anxiety and reduced connectivity between prefrontal cortex and amygdala显示文摘The short allele of the serotonin-transporter gene is associated with higher risk for anxiety and depression in Caucasians, but this association is still unclear in Asians. Here, we addressed this issue using behavioral and multi-modal MRI approaches in a large group of healthy Han Chinese participants (n = 233). In contrast to findings in Caucasians, we found that long-allele (L) carriers had higher anxiety scores. In another group (n = 64) experiencing significant levels of depression or anxiety, the L-allele frequency was also significantly higher. In healthy participants, L-carriers had reduced functional and anatomical connectivity between the amygdala and prefrontal cortex (PFC), which was correlated with anxiety or depression scores. Our findings demonstrated that in Chinese Han participants, in contrast to Caucasians, the L-allele confers vulnerability to anxiety or depression and weakens top-down emotional control between the PFC and amygdala. 8An efficient strategy for generation of transgenic mice by lentiviral transduction of male germline stem cells in vivo显示文摘Background: Male germline stem cells(MGSCs) are a subpopulation of germ cells in the testis tissue. MGSCs are capable of differentiation into spermatozoa and thus are perfect targets for genomic manipulation to generate transgenic animals.Method: The present study was to optimize a protocol of production of transgenic mice through transduction of MGSCs in vivo using lentiviral-based vectors. The recombinant lentiviral vectors with either EF-1 or CMV promoter to drive the expression of enhanced green fluorescent protein(e GFP) transgene were injected into seminiferous tubules or inter-tubular space of 7-day-old and 28-day-old mouse testes. At 5 or 6 wk post-surgery, these pre-founders were mated with wild-type C57BL/6J female mice(1.5 to 2.0-month-old).Results: Sixty-seven percent of F1 generation and 55.56 % of F2 offspring were positive for eG FP transgene under the control of EF-1 promoter via PCR analysis. The transgenic pups were generated in an injection site-and age-independent manner. The expression of transgene was displayed in the progeny derived from lentiviral vector containing CMV promoter to drive transgene, but it was silenced or undetectable in the offspring derived from lentiviral vector with transgene under EF-1 promoter. The methylation level of g DNA in the promoter region of transgene was much higher in the samples derived lentiviral vectors with EF-1 promoter than that with CMV promoter,suggesting e GFP transgene was suppressed by DNA methylation in vivo.Conclusion: This research reported here an effective strategy for generation of transgenic mice through transduction of MGSCs in vivo using lentivirus vectors with specific promoters, and the transgenic offspring were obtained in an injection site-and age-independent manner. 10Comparisons of corneal biomechanical and tomographic parameters among thin normal cornea,forme fruste keratoconus,and mild keratoconus显示文摘Background:To compare the dynamic corneal response(DCR)and tomographic parameters of thin normal cornea(TNC)with thinnest corneal thickness(TCT)(≤500μm),forme fruste keratoconus(FFKC)and mild keratoconus(MKC)had their central corneal thickness(CCT)matched by Scheimpflug imaging(Pentacam)and corneal visualization Scheimpflug technology(Corvis ST).Methods:CCT were matched in 50 eyes with FFKC,50 eyes with MKC,and 53 TNC eyes with TCT≤500μm.The differences in DCR and tomographic parameters among the three groups were compared.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic significance of these parameters.Back propagation(BP)neural network was used to establish the keratoconus diagnosis model.Results:Fifty CCT-matched FFKC eyes,50 MKC eyes and 50 TNC eyes were included.The age and biomechanically corrected intraocular pressure(bIOP)did not differ significantly among the three groups(all P>0.05).The index of height asymmetry(IHA)and height decentration(IHD)differed significantly among the three groups(all P<0.05).IHD also had sufficient strength(area under the ROC curves(AUC)>0.80)to differentiate FFKC and MKC from TNC eyes.Partial DCR parameters showed significant differences between the MKC and TNC groups,and the deflection amplitude of the first applanation(A1DA)showed a good potential to differentiate(AUC>0.70)FFKC and MKC from TNC eyes.Diagnosis model by BP neural network showed an accurate diagnostic efficiency of about 91%.Conclusions:The majority of the tomographic and DCR parameters differed among the three groups.The IHD and partial DCR parameters assessed by Corvis ST distinguished FFKC and MKC from TNC when controlled for CCT.Lei Tian Di Zhang Lili Guo Xiao Qin Hui Zhang Haixia Zhang Ying Jie Lin Li 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:1

17Analysis of Predictability of Local Rainstorm in Qinghai during August 19-20,2019显示文摘Based on conventional meteorological observation data,ECMWF model data,etc.,the causes of rainstorm in the northeast of Qinghai from the afternoon to the night of August 19,2019 were analyzed,and the causes and predictability of major forecast errors were discussed.The results show that there was high temperature,high humidity and high energy in the middle and low layers in the early period of rainstorm.As the subtropical high retreated eastwards,the high-altitude trough of the westerly belt and the vertical shear line of the plateau moved eastwards to make ground cold air move eastwards,and local short-term heavy precipitation appeared under the influence of this weather system.At the same time,the high-level dry and cold air moved into convective unstable areas.The wind speed at 700 hPa strengthened,and the low-level jet stream appeared to aggravate the instability of atmospheric stratification,which was more conducive to the generation of convection.The forecast results of precipitation based on various numerical models were significantly smaller,and the predicted western cold air was obviously weaker,which was also one of the reasons why the weak transportation of the western water vapor resulted in a small value of predicted precipitation.In the adjustment of model forecast,the proportion and amount of convective precipitation should be adjusted to be large,which has a certain indicating significance for the forecast of convective precipitation.In short-term nowcasting,the deviation of major weather systems predicted based on the model should be corrected in real time,and attention should be paid to the location of ground specific humidity and the convergence line.The falling area of heavy precipitation can be judged according to the high-value area of specific humidity,and the maximum of specific humidity appeared 1-2 h earlier than short-term heavy rainfall.Qingping LI Liang XU Qin GUAN Yao HU Chenghong MEI Jinhai LI Chengzhen SHI Haixia QI 2020Meteorological and Environmental Research2020,11,5:0

19Clinical Observation of Chuanbai Antipruritic Lotion'Water Film'Wet Compress Combined with Chloramphenicol Prednisone Liniment in the Treatment of Acute Eczema显示文摘[Objectives]To observe and analyze the clinical efficacy and possible mechanism of Chuanbai antipruritic lotion'water film'wet compress combined with chloramphenicol prednisone liniment in the treatment of acute eczema.[Methods]A total of 76 acute eczema cases admitted to Shiyan Taihe Hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 were divided into Western medicine treatment group and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group.In the Western medicine treatment group,chloramphenicol and prednisone liniment was applied to the skin lesions and oral administration of cetirizine hydrochloride.The course of treatment in both groups was 2 weeks(w).The levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ),interleukin-4(IL-4)and the ratio of IFN-γ/IL-4 in the peripheral blood of patients before and 2 weeks after treatment,as well as serum immunoglobulin E(IgE),anti-IgE antibody and histamine(HA)level,and with skin lesions disappearing time,skin oil,transepidermal water loss(TEWL),eczema area and severity index(EASI)score,total effective rate,degree of pruritus and traditional Chinese medicine quality of life scale(EPQOLS)score to evaluate the efficacy.[Results]Compared with the Western medicine treatment group at 2 w,the disappearance time of skin lesions in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group was shortened,TEWL,itching degree and EASI score,serum IgE and HA,and peripheral blood IL-4 levels were all decreased(P<0.05).IFN-γand IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio,anti-IgE antibody,EPQOLS score and total effective rate were all increased(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.[Conclusions]Chuanbai antipruritic lotion'water film'wet compress combined with chloramphenicol prednisone liniment is an optimized and safe and efficient method for the treatment of acute eczema,which can quickly relieve the symptoms of inflammatory damage of eczema and restore the skin barrier function,dry dampness and relieve itch.Inhibition of the release of histamine active substances and regulation of immunity may be the main mechanisms.Benlu QIN Haixia JING 2023Medicinal Plant2023,14,6:0
20Fresh Processing Technology in Polygonatum odoratum Production Area and Its Comparison with Traditional Processing显示文摘[Objectives]To compare the effects of traditional processing and fresh processing on the quality of Polygonatum odoratum decoction piece.[Methods]The effects of fresh processing and traditional processing on the quality of P.odoratum decoction piece were compared and analyzed with appearance characteristics,total ash content,extract content,total polysaccharides content,and total flavonoids content as the evaluation indexes.[Results]Fresh processing method in different production areas has different effects on P.odoratum decoction piece.P.odoratum was dried in oven of 50℃.When moisture content was 41.44%-59.67%,it was cut.After complete drying at 50℃,the moisture content of dried P.odoratum was 8.94%-9.60%,and ethanol-soluble extract content was 77.29%-78.20%,and water-soluble extract was 77.7%-78.14%.At this time,the appearance characteristics of section of P.odoratum decoction piece were better than that of traditional processing,which was yellowish white.The total polysaccharide content was higher than that of traditional processing,and the content of total flavonoids was statistically significant different from that of traditional processing.[Conclusions]The quality of P.odoratum decoction piece by fresh processing is better than that of the traditional processing,and it is feasible to use fresh processing.Miao YANG Chufan PENG Haixia LU Rufeng LIANG Hui TANG Zhongmei QIN Shengjiu GU 2024Medicinal Plant2024,15,1:0
