1Springback prediction of thick-walled high-strength titanium tube bending显示文摘Signifcant springback occurs after tube rotary-draw-bending(RDB),especially for a high-strength Ti–3Al–2.5V tube(HSTT) due to its high ratio of yield strength to Young's modulus.The combination scheme of explicit and implicit is preferred to predict the springback.This simulation strategy includes several numerical parameters,such as element type,number of elements through thickness(NEL),element size,etc.However,the influences of these parameters on springback prediction accuracy are not fully understood.Thus,taking the geometrical specifcation9.525 mm · 0.508 mm of a HSTT as the objective,the effects of numerical parameters on prediction accuracy and computation effciency of springback simulation of HSTT RDB are investigated.The simulated springback results are compared with experimental ones.The main results are:(1) solid and continuum-shell elements predict the experimental results well;(2) for C3D8R elements,NEL of at least 3 is required to obtain reliable results and a relative error of 29% can occur as NEL is varied in the range of 1–3;(3) specifying damping factor typically works well in Abaqus/Emplicit simulation of springback and the springback results are sensitive to the magnitude of damping factor.In addition,the explanations of the effect rules are given and a guideline is added.Song Feifei Yang He Li Heng Zhan Mei Li Guangjun 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:15

3Controlling angular dispersions in optical metasurfaces显示文摘Although metasurfaces have shown great potential for manipulating light,most previously realized meta-devices suffer from uncontrolled angular dispersions,making them unfavorable for many applications.Here,we propose a general strategy to realize optical metasurfaces with desired angular dispersions based on carefully controlling both the near-field couplings between meta-atoms and the radiation pattern of a single meta-atom.Utilizing such a strategy,we experimentally demonstrate a series of optical meta-devices with predesigned angular dispersions,including two incident-angle-insensitive absorbers,one incident-angle-selective absorber,and one multifunctional meta-polarizer whose functionality changes from a perfect mirror to a half-waveplate as the excitation angle varies.Finally,we design a gradient meta-device using meta-atom arrays with purposely controlled angular dispersions and numerically demonstrate that it can exhibit distinct wavefront-control functionalities when illuminated at different incident angles.Our findings establish a new platform for achieving angle-multiplexed functional meta-devices,significantly expanding the wave-manipulation capabilities of optical metasurfaces.Xiyue Zhang Qi Li Feifei Liu Meng Qiu Shulin Sun Qiong He Lei Zhou 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:11

7Efficient generation of complex vectorial optical fields with metasurfaces显示文摘Vectorial optical fields(VOFs)exhibiting arbitrarily designed wavefronts and polarization distributions are highly desired in photonics.However,current methods to generate them either require complicated setups or exhibit limited functionalities,which is unfavorable for integration-optics applications.Here,we propose a generic approach to efficiently generate arbitrary VOFs based on metasurfaces exhibiting full-motrix yet inhomogeneous Jones-matrix distributions.We illustrate our strategy with analytical calculations on a model system and an experimental demonstration of a meta-device that can simultaneously deflect light and manipulate its polarization.Based on these benchmark results,we next experimentally demonstrate the generation of a far-field VOF exhibiting both a vortex wavefront and an inhomogeneous polarization distribution.Finally,we design/fabricate a meta-device and experimentally demonstrate that it can generate a complex near-field VOF-a cylindrically polarized surface plasmon wave possessing orbital angular momentum-with an efficiency of-34%.Our results establish an efficient and ultracompact platform for generating arbitrary predesigned VOFs in both the near-and far-fields,which may find many applications in optical manipulation and communications.Dongyi Wang Feifei Liu Tong Liu Shulin Sun Qiong He Lei Zhou 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,4:3
8Decreased Soil Nitrification Rate with Addition of Biochar to Acid Soils显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the effects of mixed biochar on the nitrification rate in acidic soils. A15 N tracer experiment with(15 NH4)2 SO4 was conducted to determine the nitrification rates of 4 acidic agricultural soils with p H 4.03-6.02 in Yunnan Province, Southern China. The accumulation of15 N-NO3-and nitrification rates decreased with the addition of biochar at the end of incubation, suggesting that biochar could be a nitrification inhibitor in acidic fertilized soil. Nitrification rates in soil with p H 4.03 were evidently lower than those in soil with p H 4.81-6.02 with or without biochar. Decreased nitrification rates were detected in the acidic soils with biochar. 10A novel synthetic small molecule YF-452 inhibits tumor growth through antiangiogenesis by suppressing VEGF receptor 2 signaling显示文摘Tumor angiogenesis is characterized by abnormal vessel morphology, endowing tumor with highly hypoxia and unresponsive toward treatment. To date, mounting angiogenic factors have been discovered as therapeutic targets in antiangiogenic drug development. Among them, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2) inhibitors exerts potent antiangiogenic activity in tumor therapy. Therefore, it may provide a valid strategy for cancer treatment through targeting the tumor angiogenesis via VEGFR2 pathway. In this study, we established a high-profile compounds library and certificated a novel compound named N-(N-pyrrolidylacetyl)-9-(4-bromobenzyl)-1,3,4,9-tetrahydro-β-carboline (YF-452), which remarkably inhibited the migration, invasion and tube-like structure formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) with little toxicity invitro. Rat thoracic aorta ring assay indicated that YF-452 significantly blocked the formation of microvascular exvivo. In addition, YF-452 inhibited angiogenesis in chick chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) and mouse corneal micropocket assays. Moreover, YF-452 remarkably suppressed tumor growth in xenografts mice model. Furthermore, investigation of molecular mechanism revealed that YF-452 inhibited VEGF-induced phosphorylation of VEGFR2 kinase and the downstream protein kinases including extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK), focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and Src. 11Research and development of a novel subunit vaccine for the currently circulating pseudorabies virus variant in China显示文摘Pseudorabies(PR)is a devastating viral disease which leads to fatal encephalitis and respiratory disorders in pigs.Commercial gE-deleted live pseudorabies virus(PRV)vaccine has been widely used to control this disease in China.However,the new-emerging variants of PRV compromises the protection provided by current vaccines and lead to the outbreak of PR in vaccinated pig herds.Several killed and live vaccine candidates based on current PRV variants have been reported to be effective to control the disease.A subunit vaccine based on gB protein,one major PRV glycoprotein which elicits strong humoral and cellular immune responses,however,was never evaluated for protection against the current circulating PRV variants.In this study,full-length PRV gB protein was successfully expressed in baculovirus/insect cells in the soluble format and was tested on 3-week-old piglets as a subunit vaccine.Compared with unvaccinated pigs,the gB-vaccinated pigs developed specific antibody-mediated responses and were protected from the virulent PRV HN1201 challenge.All vaccinated pigs survived without showing any PRV-specific respiratory and neurological signs,but all unvaccinated pigs died within 7 days after HN1201 challenge.Hence,this novel gB-based vaccine could be applied as an effective subunit vaccine to control PRV variant in China.Yuzhou WANG Tongyan WANG He YAN Fanli YANG Linghua GUO Qingyuan YANG Xule HU Feifei TAN Yan XIAO Xiangdong LI Kegong TIAN 2015Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2015,2,3:2

13Ni3S2 nanorods growing directly on Ni foam for all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor and efficient overall water splitting显示文摘Transition metal compounds are attractive for their significant applications in supercapacitors and as non-noble metal catalysts for electrochemical water splitting.Herein,we develop Ni3 S2 nanorods growing directly on Ni foam,which act as multifunctional additive-free Ni3 S2@Ni electrode for supercapacitor and overall water splitting.Based on PVA-KOH gel electrolyte,the assembled all-solid-state Ni3 S2@Ni//AC asymmetric supercapacitor delivers a high areal energy density of 0.52 mWh cm^-2 at an areal power density of 9.02 MW cm^-2,and exhibits an excellent cycling stability with a capacitance retention ratio of 89%after 10000 GCD cycles at a current density of 30 mA cm^-2.For hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction in 1 M KOH,Ni3 S2@Ni electrode achieves a benchmark of 10 mA cm^-2at overpotentials of 82 mV and 310 mV,respectively.Furthermore,the assembled Ni3 S2@Ni‖Ni3 S2@Ni electrolyzer for overall water splitting attains a current density of 10 mA cm^-2 at 1.61 V.The in-situ synthesis of Ni3 S2@Ni electrode enriches the applications of additive-free transition metal compounds in high-performance energy storage devices and efficient electrocatalysis.Baoxin Wu Hao Qian Zhongwu Nie Zhongping Luo Zixu Wu Peng Liu Hao He Jianghong Wu Shuguang Chen Feifei Zhang 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:2
143D-assembled microneedle ion sensor-based wearable system for the transdermal monitoring of physiological ion fluctuations显示文摘Monitoring human health is of considerable significance in biomedicine.In particular,the ion concentrations in blood are important reference indicators related to many diseases.Microneedle array-based sensors have enabled promising breakthroughs in continuous health monitoring due to their minimally invasive nature.In this study,we developed a microneedle sensing-array integrated system to continuously detect subcutaneous ions to monitor human health status in real time based on a fabrication strategy for assembling planar microneedle sheets to form 3D microneedle arrays.The limitations of preparing 3D microneedle structures with multiple electrode channels were addressed by assembling planar microneedle sheets fabricated via laser micromachining;the challenges of modifying closely spaced microneedle tips into different functionalized types of electrodes were avoided.The microneedle sensing system was sufficiently sensitive for detecting real-time changes in Ca^(2+),K^(+),and Na^(+) concentrations,and it exhibited good detection performance.The in vivo results showed that the ion-sensing microneedle array successfully monitored the fluctuations in Ca^(2+),k^(+),and Na^(+) in the interstitial fluids of rats in real time.By using an integrated circuit design,we constructed the proposed microneedle sensor into a wearable integrated monitoring system.The integrated system could potentially provide information feedback for diseases related to physiological ion changes.Xinshuo Huang Shantao Zheng Baoming Liang Mengyi He Feifei Wu Jingbo Yang Hui-jiuan Chen Xi Xie 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,2:2
15Enhanced treatment for cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury of puerarin loading liposomes through neutrophils-mediated targeted delivery显示文摘The recovery of blood circulation following cerebral infarction-associated thrombolysis brings new damage to the brain,which is cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(CIRI).Inflammation is the main pathological mechanism of CIRI.The inflammatory response triggered by cerebral ischemia-reperfusion provides neutrophils with a special opportunity to facilitate drug delivery to the site of ischemic penumbra through the chemotaxis of inflammatory factors by neutrophils.Puerarin is an isoflavone derivative with a significant neuroprotective effect in vitro.But the blood-brain barrier(BBB)impedes its therapeutic efficacy on CIRI within the brain.Inspired by the pathological process,we have used neutrophils as carriers to enhance the BBB penetration of liposomes loaded with puerarin and improve the concentration of puerarin in the brain parenchyma in this study.These results showed that puerarin-containing liposomes were released in response to inflammatory conditions associated with brain injury to enhance the neuroprotection effect at the ischemic penumbra.Wei Liu Haowei Lu Xiaoyong Rao Xiang Li Hongdan Lu Feifei Li Yan He Riyue Yu Rongsheng Zhong Yao Zhang Xiaojian Luo Hongliang Xin 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:2
