1The recommendations of Chinese Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder society consensus on therapeutic management of Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a chronic,progressive and debilitating disease,which affects over 2.5 million people in China.PD is characterized clinically by resting tremor,muscular rigidity,bradykinesia and postural instability.As the disease progresses,additional complications can arise such as non-motor and neurobehavioral symptoms.Pharmacological treatment and surgical intervention for PD have been implemented in China.Until 10 years ago,there was lack of standardization for the management of PD in different regions and among different physicians,leading to different treatment levels in different regions and different physicians.Since then,the Chinese Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society have published three versions of guidelines for the management of PD in China,in 2006,2009 and 2014,respectively.Correspondingly,the overall level of treatment for PD in China improved.Objectives:To update the treatment guidelines based on current foreign and domestic practice guidelines and clinical evidence,and to improve the treatment options available to physicians in the management of PD.Summary:A variety of treatment recommendations in the treatment guidelines have been proposed,including physical activity and disease-modifying medication,which should be initiated at the early-stage of the disease.The principles of dosage titration should be followed to avoid acute adverse reactions to the drugs,to achieve a satisfactory clinical effect with a low dose and to reduce the incidence of long-term motor complications.Moreover,different treatment strategies should be considered at different stages of the disease.Importantly,treatment guidelines and personalized treatments should be valued equally.A set of treatment recommendations has been developed to assist physicians to improve and optimize clinical outcomes for patients with PD in China.Shengdi Chen Piu Chan Shenggang Sun Haibo Chen Baorong Zhang Weidong Le Chunfeng Liu Guoguang Peng Beisha Tang Lijuan Wang Yan Cheng Ming Shao Zhenguo Liu Zhenfu Wang Xiaochun Chen Mingwei Wang Xinhua Wan Huifang Shang Yiming Liu Pingyi Xu Jian Wang Tao Feng Xianwen Chen Xingyue Hu Anmu Xie Qin Xiao 2016Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1:23
2Diversity characterization and association analysis of agronomic traits in a Chinese peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) mini-core collection显示文摘Association mapping is a powerful approach for exploring the molecular basis of phenotypic variations in plants.A peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)mini-core collection in China comprising 298 accessions was genotyped using 109 simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers,which identified 554 SSR alleles and phenotyped for 15 agronomic traits in three different environments,exhibiting abundant genetic and phenotypic diversity within the panel.A model-based structure analysis assigned all accessions to three groups.Most of the accessions had the relative kinship of less than 0.05,indicating that there were no or weak relationships between accessions of the mini-core collection.For 15 agronomic traits in the peanut panel,generally the Q t K model exhibited the best performance to eliminate the false associated positives compared to the Q model and the general linear model-simple model.In total,89SSR alleles were identified to be associated with 15 agronomic traits of three environments by the Q t K model-based association analysis.Of these,eight alleles were repeatedly detected in two or three environments,and 15 alleles were commonly detected to be associated with multiple agronomic traits.Simple sequence repeat allelic effects confirmed significant differences between different genotypes of these repeatedly detected markers.Our results demonstrate the great potential of integrating the association analysis and marker-assisted breeding by utilizing the peanut mini-core collection.Huifang Jiang Li Huang Xiaoping Ren Yuning Chen Xiaojing Zhou Youlin Xia Jiaquan Huang Yong Lei Liying Yan Liyun Wan Boshou Liao 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,2:14
3The role of RIP3 in cardiomyocyte necrosis induced by mitochondrial damage of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion显示文摘Myocardial damage caused by myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI)is difficult to be alleviated because cardiomyocyte necrosis is an irreversible and unregulated death form.Recently, necroptosis,a necrosis form caused by tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)and Fas ligand (FasL),was found to be regulated by receptor interacting protein 3 (RIP3)and RIP3-receptor interacting protein 1 (RIP1)-mixed lineage kinase domain like protein (MLKL)pathway.But it is unclear whether they also play a regulatory role in MIRI-induced necroptosis.Our previous results showed that in rat MIRI,RIP3 could translocate and express highly in mitochondria.Therefore,it is important to explore proteins that interact with RIP3 which was translocated to mitochondria.The aim of this study was to explore the role of RIP3 in cardiomyocyte necrosis induced by mitochondrial damage of hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R).Our results showed that H/R could cause RIP3-depended mitochondrial fragmentation and necrosis-based death;and RIP3-promoted H/R-induced necroptosis in H9c2 cells through increasing lactate dehydrogenase release and inhibiting cell viability.This process did not require RIP1 or MLKL but dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1),which was related to Drpl activation,reactive oxygen species elevation,and △Ψm decline.This study provides novel insights into the role of RIP3 in cardiomyocyte injury during H/R.RIP3 may serve as a potential target for the treatment of MIRI.Huifang Hou Yongling Wang Qiong Li Zaibing Li Yan Teng Jingyu Li Xiaoying Wang Junli Chen Ning Huang 2018Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2018,50,11:10
4Salvianolic acid A alleviates renal injury in systemic lupus erythematosus induced by pristane in BALB/c mice显示文摘The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of salvianolic acid A(SAA) in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) induced by pristane in BALB/c mice.Lupus mice were established by confirming elevated levels of autoantibodies and IL-6 after intraperitoneal injection of pristane.Mice were then treated with daily oral doses of SAA for 5 months in parallel with mice treated with prednisone and aspirin as positive controls.The levels of autoantibodies were monitored at monthly intervals and nephritic symptoms observed by hematoxylin and eosin(H&E) and periodic acid-Schiff(PAS) staining.Western blot analysis of renal tissue was also employed.SAA treatment caused a significant reduction in the levels of anti-Sm autoantibodies and reduced renal histopathological changes and pathological effects.SAA treatment also significantly inhibited the phosphorylation of IKK,IκB and NFκB in renal tissues of lupus mice.In conclusion,the results suggest that SAA alleviates renal injury in pristane-induced SLE in BALB/c mice through inhibition of phosphorylation of IKK,IκB and NFκB.Yihuang Lin Yu Yan Huifang Zhang Yucai Chen Yangyang He Shoubao Wang Lianhua Fang Yang Lv Guanhua Du 2017Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2017,7,2:8

7Phenotypic identification of peanut germplasm for resistance to southern stem rot显示文摘Southern stem rot,caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.,is a destructive soil fungal disease of peanut in China and other countries.To evaluate resistant germplasm,a total of 256 peanut accessions were investigated on their resistance to southern stem rot in 3 environments by artificial inoculation.Variance analysis indicated that disease index was significantly influenced by environment,genotype and genotypeenvironment interactions.Peanut accessions of var.vulgaris type exhibited higher resistance to southern stem rot.Disease index was significantly negatively correlated with linoleic acid content,while positively correlated with oleic acid content.Six resistant accessions were identified,including Hua 28,Shandongzai,ICG 6326,Quanhua 7,Quanhua 9 and Guihua 836,with their disease indexes under 40 and mortality were less than 30%in the three environments.The identified resistant accessions showed the great potential to be applied in resistant peanut breeding,and would be good genetic resources for enhancing the resistance to southern stem rot.Pengmin Fan Wanduo Song Yanping Kang Liyun Wan Yong Lei Dongxin Huai Yuning Chen Xin Wang Huifang Jiang Liying Yan Boshou Liao 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,4:3
8The efficacy and safety of pramipexole ER versus IR in Chinese patients with Parkinson’s disease: a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel-group study显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the non-inferiority of pramipexole extended-release(ER)versus immediate-release(IR)in Chinese patients with Parkinson’s disease(PD)in a double-blind,randomized,parallel-group study.Methods:Subjects were Chinese patients with idiopathic PD with diagnosis≥2 years prior to trial,age≥30 years old at diagnosis,and Modified Hoehn and Yahr score 2-4 during‘on’-time.Subjects received treatment with pramipexole ER(n=234)or IR(n=239).Non-inferiority was based on the primary endpoint,the change from baseline to end of maintenance(week 18)in the UPDRS(Parts II+III)total score.Results:For the primary endpoint,the adjusted mean changes(standard error)of UPDRS Parts II+III at week 18 were−13.81(0.655)and−13.05(0.643)for ER and IR formulations,respectively,using ANCOVA adjusted for treatment and centre(fixed effect)and baseline(covariate).The adjusted mean between group difference was 0.8 for the 2-sided 95%CI(−1.047,2.566).Since the lower limit of the 2-sided 95%CI(−1.047)for treatment difference was higher than the non-inferiority margin of−4,non-inferiority between pramipexole ER and IR was demonstrated.The incidence of adverse events(AEs)was 68.8%in the ER arm and 73.6%in the IR arm with few severe AEs(ER:2.1%;IR:3.8%).Conclusion:Based on the UPDRS II+III score,pramipexole ER was non-inferior to pramipexole IR.The safety profiles of pramipexole ER and IR were similar.These results were based on comparable mean daily doses and durations of treatment for both formulations.Ying Wang Shenggang Sun Suiqiang Zhu Chunfeng Liu Yiming Liu Qing Di Huifang Shang Yan Ren Changhong Lu Mark Forrest Gordon Nolwenn Juhel Shengdi Chen for the Pramipexole ER Study Team 2014Translational Neurodegeneration2014,3,1:3
9Genetic diversity of atoxigenic Aspergillus flavus isolates from peanut kernels in China显示文摘Aflatoxin contamination in peanuts is a major threat to public health, especially in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Recently, the use of atoxigenic Aspergillus flavus strains as biological control agents prove to be effective in reducing aflatoxin contamination in crops. A total of 208 atoxigenic A. flavus isolates, collected from peanut kernels, were grouped into 7 deletion patterns by quadruplex PCR products of nor-1, ver-1, aflR and omtA genes. 49 SNPs, found in 1254 bp fragment of omtA gene, showed genetic variation of omtA among different A. flavus isolates. These isolates were assigned to either MAT1-1 type or MAT1-2 type with primers for each MAT locus. Thus, rich genetic diversity was found in the atoxigenic A. flavus isolates of peanut in China. 10Synthesis of La-Modified Ultra Stable Zeolite L and Its Application to Catalytic Cracking Catalyst显示文摘A new type of zeolite La-USL (ultra stable zeolite L (zeolite USL) modified by La), which has superior activity, stability and selectivity in catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons and thus can be used as an active catalyst component, is reported in this paper. The zeolite L with relative crystallinity of above 90% was synthesized by the hydrothermal crystallization method under optimum conditions and characterized by means of XRD, NH3-TPD and isotherm adsorption techniques. The in-situ synthesized zeolite L with a SiO2/Al2O3 mole ratio of 5-6 was modified by cation ion exchange, hydrothermal dealumination and chemical modifications with La in order to prepare La-containing USL with a higher framework SiO2/Al2O3 mole ratio of 15-30. The modified zeolite La-USL was used as an active additive component of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalyst and the resulting catalysts were evaluated by microactivity test (MAT) and fixed-fluidized bed (FFB) experiments using heavy oil as feedstock. The influence of La content in La-USL on cracking product distribution, gasoline group composition and research octane number (RON) was investigated. 12Culture and Identification of Myoblasts Isolated from Duck Embryos显示文摘[Objective] Using embryonic myoblasts to research the formation and developmental mechanisms of skeletal muscle is becoming a research hotspot. This study aimed to establish a method of isolation, culture and identification of myoblasts in duck embryos. [Method] Pectoral and leg muscle samples were isolated from the embryos of Gaoyou duck at 13 d of hatching, then disassociated with collagenase and trypsin and purified via differential adhesion. The isolated cells were cultured in vitro and detected for the expression of Pax7 protein using immunofluorescence technique. [Result] Myoblasts were obtained successfully both from pectoral and leg muscles in duck embryos and these cells proliferated strongly and differentiated well. Immunofluorescence staining showed that more than 95% cells could express Pax7 protein. 13Brain activation regions in schizophrenia patients performing the game piece memory task显示文摘BACKGROUND:Go,a traditional Chinese chess-like game,requires many unknown functions of the brain including attention,imaging,problem solving and processing of spatial working memory. To date,it remains uncertain whether the intellectual activities required to play Go are related to the frontal lobe. OBJECTIVE:To investigate various patterns of brain region activity while schizophrenic patients and normal subjects engaged in memorizing piece placement in the Chinese game of Go.Spatial working memory was measured in order to validate whether the prefrontal lobe participates in this memory process. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Non-randomized,concurrent control trial was performed at Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University,between May and December 2004. PARTICIPANTS:A total of nine Chinese schizophrenic patients with no brain or bodily diseases and not undergoing electroshock treatment,who were in accordance with the DSM-Ⅳcriteria for schizophrenia,as well as thirteen healthy staffs and students with matched age,sex,and education were included.Patients and control subjects had no neurological disorders or mental retardation.In addition,all participants were right-handed. METHODS:The cognitive task for functional magnetic resonance imaging was a block design experiment.Both groups were asked to remember the placement of pieces in the Chinese game of Go on a computer screen.A brain activation map was analyzed in SPM99. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Brain responses were compared with regard to activation region size,volume,and asymmetry indices. RESULTS:Compared with the control group,the reaction time was significantly delayed in schizophrenics performing the working memory task(P<0.05).When performing the tasks, normal subjects showed significant activation of the bilateral dorsolateral prefrontal lobe with left dominance;the asymmetry indices were:frontal lobe,+0.32;temporal lobe,0.58;parietal lobe, 0.41;and occipital lobe,-0.34.On the other hand,schizophrenics showed right dominance and had a broader activation region of the prefrontal lobe(asymmetry indices:frontal lobe,-0.10; temporal lobe,+0.38;parietal lobe,+0.24;and occipital lobe,0.00).When comparing the normal group subtracted with the schizophrenic group,no significant lateralization was found in the frontal lobes but significant activation was found in the left anterior central gyrus,left middle frontal gyrus and in both sides of the cingulate gyrus.Comparing the schizophrenic group subtracted with the normal group,there was significant right lateralization of the frontal lobe and abnormally activated regions on both sides of the anterior central gyrus,middle frontal gyrus,left inferior frontal gyrus, right medial frontal gyrus and the right insular lobe. 14Detection and Analysis of Pesticide Residues in Chinese Chives and Risk Assessment of Dietary Intake显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to understand the status of pesticide residues and dietary intake risk of Chinese chives in Tangshan area. [Methods] Sixty eight kinds of pesticide residues in 415 Chinese chive samples collected from Tangshan area were qualitatively and quantitatively determined by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS) and gas chromatography(GC) in 2020. [Results] The results showed that 41 kinds of pesticide residues were detected in the 415 Chinese chive samples, and the detection rate was 69.4%(288/415), and there was a combination of pesticides in many samples. According to the National Food Safety Standard―Maximum Residue Limits of Pesticides in Food(GB 2763-2019), the residues of 12 pesticides exceeded the maximum residue limits(MRLs), and the unqualified rate was 38.07%(158/415). The highest detection rate of clothianidin was 41.20%(171/415), but there was no MRL in GB 2763-2019. The next was procymidone, the detection rate of which was 35.42%(147/415), and the over-standard rate was 30.12%(125/415). Forbidden and restricted pesticides were detected in some samples. According to the dietary exposure risk assessment, the NEDI/ADI values were all less than 1 and the intake risk was within acceptable range. In Tangshan area, the types of pesticides used in Chinese chive production are complex, and there are risks of multi-residue pollution and use of banned and restricted pesticides and unregistered pesticides. It is suggested that routine monitoring of pesticide residues and management of pesticide use should be strengthened to ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products. 15Basic-leucine zipper 17 and Hmg-CoA reductase degradation 3A are involved in salt acclimation memory in Arabidopsis显示文摘Salt acclimation, which is induced by previous salt exposure, increases the resistance of plants to future exposure to salt stress. However, little is known about the underlying mechanism, particularly how plants store the'memory' of salt exposure. In this study, we established a system to study salt acclimation in Arabidopsis thaliana. Following treatment with a low concentration of salt, seedlings were allowed to recover to allow transitory salt responses to subside while maintaining the sustainable effects of salt acclimation. We performed transcriptome profiling analysis of these seedlings to identify genes related to salt acclimation memory. Notably, the expres-sion of Basic-leucine zipper 17 (bZIP17) and Hmg-CoA reductase degradation 3A (HRD3A), which are important in the unfolded protein response (UPR) and endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD), respectively, increased following treatment with a low concentration of salt and remained at stably high levels after the stimulus was removed, a treatment which improved plant tolerance to future high-salinity challenge. 16A New Detecting Method for the Sequence Difference of CHD1 Gene on Sex Chromosomes Z and W in Domesticated Ducks of China显示文摘A new method for detecting the sequence differences of duck Chromo-helicase-DNA-Binding 1( CHD1) genes on sex chromosomes Z and W was established by amplifying DNA fragment length poly morphism,which aimed to solve some technical problems,such as the sex identification with nondamage,the misclassifc rate of artificial sex identification during embryonic period,and the injury caused by anal reversal identification method during neonatal period. The improved sex identification method was developed by DNA amplified fragment length polymorphism by using CHD1 gene sequence in bird. The sex identification PCR primers YPF/YPR were used,and the PCR product was cloned,sequenced and blasted; and the effectiveness and accuracy of this method were verified through living examples. 2% agarose gel electrophoresis was used to distinguish 495 bp CHD1-Z and 351 bp CHD1-W obtained by primer YPF/YPR. The female( ZW) displayed two visible bands; while male( ZZ) had only one single band. 17Erianin suppresses constitutive activation of MAPK signaling pathway by inhibition of CRAF and MEK1/2显示文摘Constitutive activation of RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK signaling pathway(MAPK pathway)frequently occurs in many cancers harboring RAS or RAF oncogenic mutations.Because of the paradoxical activation induced by a single use of BRAF or MEK inhibitors,dual-target RAF and MEK treatment is thought to be a promising strategy.In this work,we evaluated erianin is a novel inhibitor of CRAF and MEK1/2 kinases,thus suppressing constitutive activation of the MAPK signaling pathway induced by BRAF V600E or RAS mutations.KinaseProfiler enzyme profiling,surface plasmon resonance(SPR),isothermal titration calorimetry(ITC),cellular thermal shift assay,computational docking,and molecular dynamics simulations were utilized to screen and identify erianin binding to CRAF and MEK1/2.Kinase assay,luminescent ADP detection assay,and enzyme kinetics assay were investigated to identify the efficiency of erianin in CRAF and MEK1/2 kinase activity.Notably,erianin suppressed BRAF V600E or RAS mutant melanoma and colorectal cancer cell by inhibiting MEK1/2 and CRAF but not BRAF kinase activity.Moreover,erianin attenuated melanoma and colorectal cancer in vivo.Overall,we provide a promising leading compound for BRAF V600E or RAS mutant melanoma and colorectal cancer through dual targeting of CRAF and MEK1/2.Penglei Wang Xuechao Jia Bingbing Lu Han Huang Jialin Liu Xuejiao Liu Qiong Wu Yamei Hu Pan Li Huifang Wei Tingting Liu Dengyun Zhao Lingwei Zhang Xueli Tian Yanan Jiang Yan Qiao Wenna Nie Xinli Ma Ruihua Bai Cong Peng Zigang Dong Kangdong Liu 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:1
18Preparation and characterization of three-dimen-sionally ordered macroporous polystyrene via atom-transfer radical polymerization显示文摘Three-dimensionally ordered macroporous polystyrene(3DOM PS) with pore size of 350 nm was fabricated using Cp2Co/Ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate(EBiB) catalytic system by ATRP.The resulting polymers were detected by FT-IR,1H-NMR,SEM,and GPC.The microstructure of 3DOM PS was confirmed by FT-IR and 1H-NMR.SEM micrographs show that both silica spheres within the templates and pores in the 3DOM polystyrene are arranged in highly ordered fashion,and the shrinkage of the pores in the 3DOM PS is 24%.GPC curves show that the 3DOM PS possesses slightly lower Mn and narrow MWD compared with bulk one.This result indicats that living polymerization is different from non-living polymerizationin in the confined space.ZHANG Xu YAN WeiDong YANG HuiFang WANG BaiQuan 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,24:1
19Identification of major QTL for seed number per pod on chromosome A05 of tetraploid peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘The inheritance of pod-and seed-number traits(PSNT) in peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.) is poorly understood. In the present study, a recombinant inbred line(RIL) population of 188 lines was used to map quantitative trait loci(QTL) for number of seeds per pod(NSP),number of pods per plant(NPP), and numbers of one-, two-, and three-seeded pods per plant(N1 PP, N2 PP, and N3 PP) in four environments. A total of 28 consensus QTL and 14 single QTL were identified, including 11 major and stable QTL. Four major and stable QTL including qN3 PPA5.2, q N3 PPA5.4, qN3 PPA5.5, and qN3 PPA5.7 each explained 12.3%–33.0% of phenotype variation. By use of another integrated linkage map for the A5 group(hereafter referred to as INT A5 group), QTL for PSNT were located in seven intervals of 0.73–9.68 Mb in length on chromosome A05, and candidate genes underlying N3 PP were suggested. These findings shed light on the genetic basis of PSNT.
