| 3 | Dynamic simulation of tropical coral reef ecosystem being disturbed by multiple situations显示文摘In consideration of the rapid degradation of coral reef ecosystems, the establishment of models is helpful to comprehend the degradation mechanism of coral reef ecosystems and predict the development process of coral reef communities. According to the characteristics of complex ecosystem of tropical coral reefs in China, the coral reef functional group is the core level variable;combined with the multiple feedback effects of coral reef functional groups and environmental changes, the study presents a coral reef ecosystem dynamics model with hermatypic corals as the core. Based on the simulation of the assumed initial value and the internal feedback of the system, the results show that in the basic simulation(relative health conditions), the coverage area of live corals and coral reefs generally decreased first and then increased, and increased by 4.67% and 6.38% between2010 and 2050, respectively. Based on the calibration model and the current situation of the studied area, the multi-factor disturbance effects of coral reef communities were simulated and explored by setting up three scenarios involving fishing policy, terrestrial deposition, and inorganic nitrogen emissions. Among them, in the single factor disturbance, the fishing policy exerts the most direct impact on the community decline;and the succession phenomenon is obvious;the terrestrial sedimentation has a faster and more integrated effect on the community decline;the effect of inorganic nitrogen emission on the community decline is relatively slow. In the double/multi-factor disturbance, the superimposed disturbance will aggravate the multi-source feedback effect of the coral reef communities development, accelerate the community decay rate, and make its development trajectory more complicated and diverse. This method provides a scientific and feasible method for simulating the damage of long-term coral reef community and exploring the development law and adaptive management of coral reef ecosystems. | 6 | Cotton GhBRC1 regulates branching,flowering,and growth by integrating multiple hormone pathways显示文摘Cotton architecture is partly determined by shoot branching and flowering patterns.Gh BRC1 was previously identified by RNA-seq analysis of nulliplex-branching and normal-branching cotton.However,the roles of Gh BRC1 in cotton remain unclear.In the present study,investigations of nuclear localization and transcriptional activity indicated that Gh BRC1 has characteristics typical of transcription factors.Gene expression analysis showed that Gh BRC1 was highly expressed in axillary buds but displayed different expression patterns between the two branching types.Overexpression of Gh BRC1 in Arabidopsis significantly inhibited the number of branches and promoted flowering.In contrast,silencing Gh BRC1 in cotton significantly promoted seedling growth.Gh BRC1 was induced by multiple hormones,including strigolactones,which promoted seedling growth and seed germination of Arabidopsis plants overexpressing Gh BRC1.Consistent with these findings,RNA-seq analysis of virus-induced gene silencing treated cotton revealed that a large number of genes were differentially expressed between Gh BRC1-silenced and control plants,and these genes were significantly enriched in plant hormone signalling pathways.Together,our data indicates that Gh BRC1 regulates plant branching and flowering through multiple regulatory pathways,especially those regulating plant hormones,with functions partly differing from those of Arabidopsis BRC1.These results provide insights into the molecular mechanisms controlling plant architecture,which is important for breeding cotton with ideal plant architecture and high yield. | Quan Sun Yuanhui Xie Huimin Li Jinlei Liu Rui Geng Ping Wang Zongyan Chu Ying Chang Guanjun Li Xiao Zhang Youlu Yuan Yingfan Cai | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,1: | 0 |

| 8 | Data-Driven User Complaint Prediction for Mobile Access Networks显示文摘In this paper,we present a user-complaint prediction system for mobile access networks based on network monitoring data.By applying machine-learning models,the proposed system can relate user complaints to network performance indicators,alarm reports in a data-driven fashion,and predict the complaint events in a fine-grained spatial area within a specific time window.The proposed system harnesses several special designs to deal with the specialty in complaint prediction;complaint bursts are extracted using linear filtering and threshold detection to reduce the noisy fluctuation in raw complaint events.A fuzzy gridding method is also proposed to resolve the inaccuracy in verbally described complaint locations.Furthermore,we combine up-sampling with down-sampling to combat the severe skewness towards negative samples.The proposed system is evaluated using a real dataset collected from a major Chinese mobile operator,in which,events due to complaint bursts account approximately for only 0:3%of all recorded events.Re-sults show that our system can detect 30%of complaint bursts 3 h ahead with more than 80%precision.This will achieve a corresponding proportion of quality of experi-ence improvement if all predicted complaint events can be handled in advance through proper network maintenance. | Huimin Pan Sheng Zhou Yunjian Jia Zhisheng Niu Meng Zheng Lu Geng | 2018 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2018,3,3: | 0 |

The peptidomimetics holding Trt(3 and 4) showed no gel performance, while the Fmoc groups promoted 5 and 6 to give rise to thermo-reversible organogels in a number of organic solvents. The self-assembled fibrillar networks were distinctly evidenced in the organogels by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) observations. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and fluorescence analyses revealed that the hydrogen bonding and ?-? stacking play as major driving forces for the self-assembly of these organogelators.
