1Efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 therapeutic antibody RC48 in patients with HER2-overexpressing,locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer:a single-arm phase II study显示文摘Background:Current treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing gastric cancer at third-line have shown limited clinical benefit.Further,there is no specific treatment for HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)2+and fluorescence in-situ hybridization-negative patients.Here,we report the efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 antibody RC48 for patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-overexpressing(IHC 2+or 3+),locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who were under at least second-line therapy were eligible and received RC482.5 mg/kg alone every 2 weeks.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR)assessed by an independent review committee.Secondary endpoints included progressionfree survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),duration of response,time to progression,disease control rate,and safety.Results:Of 179 patients screened,125 were eligible and received RC48 treatment.The ORR was 24.8%(95%confidence interval[CI]:17.5%-33.3%).The median PFS and OS were 4.1 months(95%CI:3.7-4.9 months)and 7.9 months(95%CI:6.7-9.9 months),respectively.The most frequently reported adverse events were decreased white blood cell count(53.6%),asthenia(53.6%),hair loss(53.6%),decreased neutrophil count(52.0%),anemia(49.6%),and increased aspartate aminotransferase level(43.2%).Serious adverse events(SAEs)occurred in 45(36.0%)patients,and RC48-related SAEs were mainly decreased neutrophil count(3.2%).Seven patients had adverse events that led to death were not RC48-related.Conclusions:RC48 showed promising activity with manageable safety,suggesting potential application in patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who have previously received at least two lines of chemotherapy.Zhi Peng Tianshu Liu Jia Wei Airong Wang Yifu He Liuzhong Yang Xizhi Zhang Nanfeng Fan Suxia Luo Zhen Li Kangsheng Gu Jianwei Lu Jianming Xu Qingxia Fan Ruihua Xu Liangming Zhang Enxiao Li Yuping Sun Guohua Yu Chunmei Bai Yong Liu Jiangzheng Zeng Jieer Ying Xinjun Liang Nong Xu Chao Gao Yongqian Shu Dong Ma Guanghai Dai Shengmian Li Ting Deng Yuehong Cui Jianmin Fang Yi Ba Lin Shen 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,11:29
2Experimental demonstration of ultra-large-scale terahertz all-dielectric metamaterials显示文摘All-dielectric metamaterials have emerged as a promising platform for low-loss and highly efficient terahertz devices. However, existing fabrication methods have difficulty in achieving a good balance between precision and cost. Here, inspired by the nano-template-assisted self-assembly method, we develop a micro-templateassisted self-assembly(MTAS) method to prepare large-scale, high-precision, and flexible ceramic microsphere all-dielectric metamaterials with an area exceeding 900 cm × 900 cm. Free from organic solvents, vacuum, and complex equipment, the MTAS method ensures low-cost and environmentally friendly fabrication. The ceramic microsphere resonators can be readily assembled into nearly arbitrary arrangements and complex aggregates, such as dimers, trimers, quadrumers, and chains. Finally, using the heat-shrinkable substrate and dipole coupling effect, a broadband reflector with a bandwidth of 0.15 THz and a reflection of up to 95% is demonstrated.This work provides a versatile and powerful platform for terahertz all-dielectric metamaterials, with potential to be applied in a wide variety of high-efficiency terahertz devices.KE BI DAQUAN YANG JIA CHEN QINGMIN WANG HONGYA WU CHUWEN LAN YUPING YANG 2019Photonics Research2019,7,4:5
3Monolithic integration of MoS2-based visible detectors and GaN-based UV detectors显示文摘With the increasing demand for high integration and multi-color photodetection for both military and civilian applications, the research of multi-wavelength detectors has become a new research hotspot. However, current research has been mainly in visible dual-or multi-wavelength detectors, while integration of both visible light and ultraviolet(UV) dual-wavelength detectors has rarely been studied. In this work, large-scale and high-quality monolayer MoS2 was grown by the chemical vapor deposition method on transparent free-standing GaN substrate. Monolithic integration of MoS2-based visible detectors and GaN-based UV detectors was demonstrated using common semiconductor fabrication technologies such as photolithography, argon plasma etching, and metal deposition. High performance of a 280 nm and 405 nm dual-wavelength photodetector was realized.The responsivity of the UV detector reached 172.12 A/W, while that of the visible detector reached 17.5 A/W.Meanwhile, both photodetectors achieved high photocurrent gain, high external quantum efficiency, high normalized detection rate, and low noise equivalent power. 4Transformation between nanosheets and nanowires structure in MnO2 upon providing Co^2+ions and applications for microwave absorption显示文摘The phase transition process of the MnO2 phase with increases in Co^2+doping can be described by the Ouroboros symbol.The undoped sample is pureδ-MnO2 with nanosheets structures.Then a small amount of Co^2+ions changes the final products and generatesα-MnO2 nanofibres in theδ-MnO2 matrix.The products become pureα-MnO2 with an appropriate amount of Co added.However,when the Co amount continues to increase,the amount ofα-MnO2 decreases in the products and turns back to form pureδ-MnO2 in the end.Analysing the electromagnetic absorption performance,the relationship between the properties and the proportion ofδ-MnO2/α-MnO2 in the powders adjusted by Co^2+doping has been explored,and the composites ofδ-/α-MnO2 show better absorption ability than the single-phase samples.As a result,the optimal reflection loss(RL)is−54.8 dB,and the effective absorption bandwidth can cover the Ku band at a thickness of 2.2 mm and the X band at a thickness of 3.1 mm with 50 wt.%filler loading ratios.This research might shed new light on the improvement of novel microwave absorption materials.Lulu Song Yuping Duan Jia Liu Huifang Pang 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:4
5Construction of van der Waals substrates for largely mismatched heteroepitaxy systems using first principles显示文摘The high density of defects induced by large strains in largely mismatched heteroepitaxy systems, such as AlN and GaN, because of the large lattice and thermal mismatch between substrates and epilayers is the bottleneck problem. Graphene-assisted van der Waals(vdW) heteroepitaxy offers a new opportunity to resolve this problem. However, it suffers from the difficulty of nucleation. Here we theoretically assess the effects of five 2D materials for vdW heteroepitaxy of AlN and GaN, including graphene, hBN, MoS2, gC3N, and gC3N4, and provide physical insights using first-principle calculations. MoS2 and gC3N exhibit significant potential to overcome the shortcomings of graphene owing to their appropriate binding strengths and Al(or Ga)diffusion barriers. Moreover, the interface behavior between the epilayers and the substrates are carefully analyzed. 6Study on Colloidal Gold Immunochromatography Assay for Rapid Detection of Spectinomycin显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to establish a rapid detection method for spectinomycin in pork,chicken,fish,shrimp flesh and water.[Methods]A test strip for rapid detection of spectinomycin in milk was developed by colloidal gold immunochromatography assay. [Results]The test strip had a detection limit of 50 μg/kg to milk with a detection time of 15 min,and the false positive rate and false negative rate were both 0. 7Polarization-enhanced AlGaN solar-blind ultraviolet detectors显示文摘AlGaN solar-blind ultraviolet detectors have great potential in many fields,although their performance has not fully meet the requirements until now.Here,we proposed an approach to utilize the inherent polarization effect of AlGaN to improve the detector performance.AlGaN heterostructures were designed to enhance the polarization field in the absorption layer,and a high built-in field and a high electron mobility conduction channel were formed.As a result,a high-performance solar-blind ultraviolet detector with a peak responsivity of 1.42 A/W at 10 V was achieved,being 50 times higher than that of the nonpolarization-enhanced one.Moreover,an electron reservoir structure was proposed to further improve the performance.A higher peak responsivity of 3.1 A/W at30 V was achieved because the electron reservoir structure could modulate the electron concentration in the conduction channel.The investigation presented here provided feasible approaches to improve the performance of the AlGaN detector by taking advantage of its inherent property.Ke Jiang Xiaojuan Sun Zi-Hui Zhang Jianwei Ben Jiamang Che Zhiming Shi Yuping Jia Yang Chen Shanli Zhang Wei Lv Dabing Li 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:3

9Magnetic transformation of Mn from anti-ferromagnetism to ferromagnetism in FeCoNiZMn_(x)(Z=Si,Al,Sn,Ge)high entropy alloys显示文摘We design high entropy alloys(HEAs) with different induction elements(Si/Al/Sn).In order to keep the crystal structure invariant and to investigate how the increment in saturation magnetization(Ms)is caused only by the change of electron spin state,each set of HEAs contains a different amount of Mn.Synergistic effects among induction elements that induce the magnetic transformation of Mn from anti-ferromagnetism to ferromagnetism are found.Ms of added Mn reduces when a particular induction element(Si_(0.4)/Al_(0.4)/Sn_(0.4)) exists,while a larger increment of Ms appears when two induction elements coexist,Si_(0.4)Al_(0.4)(25.79 emu/g) and Sn_(0.4)Al_(0.4)(15.43 emu/g).This is reflected in the microcosmic magnetic structure for the emergence of closed domains due to large demagnetization energy,which is confirmed by the Lorentz transmission electron microscope(LTEM) data.The calculated magnetic moments and the exchange integral constants from density functional theory based on the Exact Muffin-Tin Orbits fo rmalism reveal that the magnetic state and the strength of fe rromagnetic and anti-ferromagnetic coupling determine the variation of Ms in different chemical environments.The difference in energy levels of coexisting multiple induction elements also leads to a larger increment of Ms,Si_(0.4)Al_(0.4)Sn_(0.4)(29.78 emu/g),and Si_(0.4)Al_(0.4)Ge_(0.4)Sn_(0.4)(31.00 emu/g).Bin Zhang Yuping Duan Haifeng Zhang Shuo Huang Guojia Ma Tongmin Wang Xinglong Dong Nan Jia 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,9:2
10Wafer-scale graphene on 2 inch SiC with uniform structural and electrical characteristics显示文摘Wafer-scale graphene on SiC with uniform structural and electrical features is needed to realize graphene-based radio frequency devices and integrated circuits.Here,a continuous bi/trilayer of graphene with uniform structural and electrical features was grown on 2 inch 6H-SiC (0001) by etching before and after graphene growth.Optical and atomic force microscopy images indicate the surface morphology of graphene is uniform over the 2 inch wafer.Raman and transmittance spectra confirmed that its layer number was also uniform.Contactless resistance measurements indicated the average graphene sheet resistance was 720 /with a non-uniformity of 7.2%.Large area contactless mobility measurements gave a carrier mobility of about 450 cm2 /(V s) with an electron concentration of about 1.5×10 13 cm2.To our knowledge,such homogeneous morphology and resistance on wafer scale are among the best results reported for wafer-scale graphene on SiC.JIA YuPing GUO LiWei LIN JingJing CHEN LianLian CHEN XiaoLong 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,23:2

17Multidisciplinary strategies to enhance therapeutic effects of flavonoids from Epimedii Folium:Integration of herbal medicine,enzyme engineering,and nanotechnology显示文摘Flavonoids such as baohuoside I and icaritin are the major active compounds in Epimedii Folium(EF)and possess excellent therapeutic effects on various diseases.Encouragingly,in 2022,icaritin soft capsules were approved to reach the market for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)by National Medical Products Administration(NMPA)of China.Moreover,recent studies demonstrate that icaritin can serve as immune-modulating agent to exert anti-tumor effects.Nonetheless,both production efficiency and clinical applications of epimedium flavonoids have been restrained because of their low content,poor bioavailability,and unfavorable in vivo delivery efficiency.Recently,various strategies,including enzyme engineering and nanotechnology,have been developed to increase productivity and activity,improve delivery efficiency,and enhance therapeutic effects of epimedium flavonoids.In this review,the structure-activity relationship of epimedium flavonoids is described.Then,enzymatic engineering strategies for increasing the productivity of highly active baohuoside I and icaritin are discussed.The nanomedicines for overcoming in vivo delivery barriers and improving therapeutic effects of various diseases are summarized.Finally,the challenges and an outlook on clinical translation of epimedium flavonoids are proposed.Yi Lu Qiulan Luo Xiaobin Jia James P.Tam Huan Yang Yuping Shen Xin Li 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,3:1

19Multiple-quantum-well-induced unipolar carrier transport multiplication in AlGaN solar-blind ultraviolet photodiode显示文摘AlGaN solar-blind ultraviolet(SBUV)detectors have potential application in fire monitoring,corona discharge monitoring,or biological imaging.With the promotion of application requirements,there is an urgent demand for developing a high-performance vertical detector that can work at low bias or even zero bias.In this work,we have introduced a photoconductive gain mechanism into a vertical AlGaN SBUV detector and successfully realized it in a p-i-n photodiode via inserting a multiple-quantum-well(MQW)into the depletion region.The MQW plays the role of trapping holes and increasing carrier lifetime due to its strong hole confinement effect and quantum confinement Stark effect.Hence,the electrons can go through the detector multiple times,inducing unipolar carrier transport multiplication.Experimentally,an AlGaN SBUV detector with a zero-bias peak responsivity of about 0.425 A/W at 233 nm is achieved,corresponding to an external quantum efficiency of 226%,indicating the existence of internal current gain.When compared with the device without MQW structure,the gain is estimated to be about 103 in magnitude.The investigation provides an alternative and effective approach to obtain high current gain in vertical AlGaN SBUV detectors at zero bias.LONG GUO KE JIANG XIAOJUAN SUN ZIHUI ZHANG JIANWEI BEN YUPING JIA YONG WANG DABING LI 2021Photonics Research2021,9,10:0
