| 1 | 计算机辅助模型外科设计及虚拟板的临床应用显示文摘目的:通过计算机辅助软件进行正颌手术模型外科设计,经快速原型技术制作板,探讨该板的临床应用价值。方法:15例颌面畸形需要正颌手术的患者均进行全头颅三维CT扫描(层厚0.625mm),将DICOM格式的CT数据输入电脑软件Simplant CMF(Materialise Medical,Leuven,Belgium)。通过软件对头颅模型进行上下颌骨的分离、截骨线的设计、截骨、骨块移动等操作,收集并输出数据,经快速原型机制作板(虚拟板)。同时,每例患者还进行传统石膏模型外科以及传统板制作。术中首先利用虚拟板进行骨块的移动和固定,然后应用传统板检验骨块的新位置,验证虚拟板的临床实用性。结果:15例患者中,4例单颌手术(双侧下颌支矢状劈开术)、10例双颌手术(Le Fort I型整体截骨术+双侧下颌支矢状劈开术)以及1例双颌手术(Le Fort I型分块截骨术+双侧下颌支矢状劈开术)。手术中,12例患者的虚拟板完全符合临床要求。3例患者(包括1例双侧下颌支矢状劈开术和2例Le Fort I型整体截骨术+双侧下颌支矢状劈开术)的虚拟板与传统板之间有部分偏差,遂通过传统板进行骨块的重新固定。结论:计算机辅助设计可完成Le Fort I型整体(或分块)截骨术和双侧下颌支矢状劈开术的模型外科,虚拟板基本可实现传统板的功能。通过对软件的进一步熟悉、更多病例的积累,计算机辅助模型外科可能取代传统的石膏模型外科。 | 王旭东 Philip KM Lee 沈国芳 房兵 吴勇 蔡鸣 James Chow | 2008 | 中国口腔颌面外科杂志2008,6,6: | 16 |
| 2 | Profiles and removal efficiency of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by two different types of sewage treatment plants in Hong Kong显示文摘Sewage discharge could be a major source of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in the coastal waters. Stonecutters Island and Shatin Sewage Treatment Works(SCISTW and STSTW)in Hong Kong, adopted chemically enhanced primary treatment and biological treatment,respectively. This study aimed at(1) determining the removal efficiencies of PAHs,(2) comparing the capabilities in removing PAHs, and(3) characterizing the profile of each individual PAHs, in the two sewage treatment plants(STPs). Quantification of 16 PAHs was conducted by a Gas Chromatography. The concentrations of total PAHs decreased gradually along the treatment processes(from 301 ± 255 and 307 ± 217 ng/L to 14.9 ± 12.1 and 63.3 ± 54.1 ng/L in STSTW and SCISTW, respectively). It was noted that STSTW was more capable in removing total PAHs than SCISTW with average total removal efficiency 94.4% ± 4.12% vs. 79.2% ± 7.48%(p < 0.05). The removal of PAHs was probably due to sorption in particular matter, confirmed by the higher distribution coefficient of individual and total PAHs in solid samples(dewatered sludge contained92.5% and 74.7% of total PAHs in SCISTW and STSTW, respectively) than liquid samples(final effluent-total contained 7.53% and 25.3% of total PAHs in STSTW and SCISTW, respectively).Despite the impressive capability of STSTW and SCISTW in removing PAHs, there was still a considerable amount of total PAHs(1.85 and 39.3 kg/year, respectively for the two STPs) being discharged into Hong Kong coastal waters, which would be an environmental concern. | Yu Bon Man Ka Lai Chow Zhang Cheng Wing Yin Mo Yung Hau Chan James Chung Wah Lam Frankie Tat Kwong Lau Wing Cheong Fung Ming Hung Wong | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,3: | 5 |

| 5 | Leakage-Penumbra effect in intensity modulated radiation therapy step-and-shoot dose delivery显示文摘AIM: To study the leakage-penumbra(LP) effect with a proposed correction method for the step-and-shoot intensity modulated radiation therapy(IMRT).METHODS: Leakage-penumbra dose profiles from 10 randomly selected prostate IMRT plans were studied. The IMRT plans were delivered by a Varian 21 EX linear accelerator equipped with a 120-leaf multileaf collimator(MLC). For each treatment plan created by the Pinnacle3 treatment planning system,a 3-dimensional LP dose distribution generated by 5 coplanar photon beams,starting from 0o with equal separation of 72 o,was investigated. For each photon beam used in the stepand-shoot IMRT plans,the first beam segment was set to have the largest area in the MLC leaf-sequencing,and was equal to the planning target volume(PTV). The overshoot effect(OSE) and the segment positional errors were measured using a solid water phantom with Kodak(TL and X-OMAT V) radiographic films. Film dosimetric analysis and calibration were carried out using a film scanner(Vidar VXR-16). The LP dose profiles were determined by eliminating the OSE and segment positional errors with specific individual irradiations. RESULTS: A non-uniformly distributed leaf LP dose ranging from 3% to 5% of the beam dose was measured in clinical IMRT beams. An overdose at the gap between neighboring segments,represented as dose peaks of up to 10% of the total BP,was measured. The LP effect increased the dose to the PTV and surrounding critical tissues. In addition,the effectdepends on the number of beams and segments for each beam. Segment positional error was less than the maximum tolerance of 1 mm under a dose rate of 600 monitor units per minute in the treatment plans. The OSE varying with the dose rate was observed in all photon beams,and the effect increased from 1 to 1.3 Gy per treatment of the rectal intersection. As the dosimetric impacts from the LP effect and OSE may increase the rectal post-radiation effects,a correction of LP was proposed and demonstrated for the central beam profile for one of the planned beams. | 8 | Tissue-specific Tregs in cancer metastasis:opportunities for precision immunotherapy显示文摘Decades of advancements in immuno-oncology have enabled the development of current immunotherapies,which provide longterm treatment responses in certain metastatic cancer patients.However,cures remain infrequent,and most patients ultimately succumb to treatment-refractory metastatic disease.Recent insights suggest that tumors at certain organ sites exhibit distinctive response patterns to immunotherapy and can even reduce antitumor immunity within anatomically distant tumors,suggesting the activation of tissue-specific immune tolerogenic mechanisms in some cases of therapy resistance.Specialized immune cells known as regulatory T cells(Tregs)are present within all tissues in the body and coordinate the suppression of excessive immune activation to curb autoimmunity and maintain immune homeostasis.Despite the high volume of research on Tregs,the findings have failed to reconcile tissue-specific Treg functions in organs,such as tolerance,tissue repair,and regeneration,with their suppression of local and systemic tumor immunity in the context of immunotherapy resistance.To improve the understanding of how the tissue-specific functions of Tregs impact cancer immunotherapy,we review the specialized role of Tregs in clinically common and challenging organ sites of cancer metastasis,highlight research that describes Treg impacts on tissue-specific and systemic immune regulation in the context of immunotherapy,and summarize ongoing work reporting clinically feasible strategies that combine the specific targeting of Tregs with systemic cancer immunotherapy.Improved knowledge of Tregs in the framework of their tissue-specific biology and clinical sites of organ metastasis will enable more precise targeting of immunotherapy and have profound implications for treating patients with metastatic cancer. | Laura A.Huppert Michael D.Green Luke Kim Christine Chow Yan Leyfman Adil I.Daud James C.Lee | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1: | 1 |
