1Osteoimmunomodulatory effects of biomaterial modification strategies on macrophage polarization and bone regeneration显示文摘Biomaterials as bone substitutes are always considered as foreign bodies that can trigger host immune responses.Traditional designing principles have been always aimed at minimizing the immune reactions by fabricating inert biomaterials.However,clinical evidence revealed that those methods still have limitations and many of which were only feasible in the laboratory.Currently,osteoimmunology,the very pioneering concept is drawing more and more attention-it does not simply regard the immune response as an obstacle during bone healing but emphasizes the intimate relationship of the immune and skeletal system,which includes diverse cells,cytokines,and signaling pathways.Properties of biomaterials like topography,wettability,surface charge,the release of cytokines,mediators,ions and other bioactive molecules can impose effects on immune responses to interfere with the skeletal system.Based on the bone formation mechanisms,the designing methods of the biomaterials change from immune evasive to immune reprogramming.Here,we discuss the osteoimmunomodulatory effects of the new modification strategies—adjusting properties of bone biomaterials to induce a favorable osteoimmune environment.Such strategies showed potential to benefit the development of bone materials and lay a solid foundation for the future clinical application.Yajuan Xie Cheng Hu Yi Feng Danfeng Li Tingting Ai Yulei Huang Xiaodan Chen Lijia Huang Jiali Tan 2020Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,3:22
2Research progresses of cathodic hydrogen evolution in advanced lead–acid batteries显示文摘Integrating high content carbon into the negative electrodes of advanced lead–acid batteries effectively eliminates the sulfation and improves the cycle life,but brings the problem of hydrogen evolution,which increases inner pressure and accelerates the water loss.In this review,the mechanism of hydrogen evolution reaction in advanced lead–acid batteries,including lead–carbon battery and ultrabattery,is briefly reviewed.The strategies on suppression hydrogen evolution via structure modifications of carbon materials and adding hydrogen evolution inhibitors are summarized as well.The review points out effective ways to inhibit hydrogen evolution and prolong the cycling life of advanced lead–acid battery,especially in high-rate partial-state-of-charge applications.Feng Wang Chen Hu Min Zhou Kangli Wang Jiali Lian Jie Yan Shijie Cheng Kai Jiang 2016Science Bulletin2016,61,6:8
3Development of a large-scale remote sensing ecological index in arid areas and its application in the Aral Sea Basin显示文摘The Aral Sea Basin in Central Asia is an important geographical environment unit in the center of Eurasia.It is of great significance to the ecological protection and sustainable development of Central Asia to carry out dynamic monitoring and effective evaluation of the eco-environmental quality of the Aral Sea Basin.In this study,the arid remote sensing ecological index(ARSEI)for large-scale arid areas was developed,which coupled the information of the greenness index,the salinity index,the humidity index,the heat index,and the land degradation index of arid areas.The ARSEI was used to monitor and evaluate the eco-environmental quality of the Aral Sea Basin from 2000 to 2019.The results show that the greenness index,the humidity index and the land degradation index had a positive impact on the quality of the ecological environment in the Aral Sea Basin,while the salinity index and the heat index exerted a negative impact on the quality of the ecological environment.The eco-environmental quality of the Aral Sea Basin demonstrated a trend of initial improvement,followed by deterioration,and finally further improvement.The spatial variation of these changes was significant.From 2000 to 2019,grassland and wasteland(saline alkali land and sandy land)in the central and western parts of the basin had the worst ecological environment quality.The areas with poor ecological environment quality are mainly distributed in rivers,wetlands,and cultivated land around lakes.During the period from 2000 to 2019,except for the surrounding areas of the Aral Sea,the ecological environment quality in other areas of the Aral Sea Basin has been improved in general.The correlation coefficients between the change in the eco-environmental quality and the heat index and between the change in the eco-environmental quality and the humidity index were–0.593 and 0.524,respectively.Climate conditions and human activities have led to different combinations of heat and humidity changes in the eco-environmental quality of the Aral Sea Basin.However,human activities had a greater impact.The ARSEI can quantitatively and intuitively reflect the scale and causes of large-scale and long-time period changes of the eco-environmental quality in arid areas;it is very suitable for the study of the eco-environmental quality in arid areas.WANG Jie LIU Dongwei MA Jiali CHENG Yingnan WANG Lixin 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,1:5
4Removal of radioactive cesium from solutions by zinc ferrocyanide显示文摘Adsorption of ^(134)Cs from aqueous solution by zinc fcrrocyanide,and the effect of experimental conditions on the adsorption were investigated.Preliminary results showed that zinc ferrocyanide was very efficient as an absorbent.Over 98% of ^(134)Cs could be removed by zinc ferrocyanide of 0.33 g·L^(-1) from ^(134)Cs solution (Co) of 3.2~160.0 kBq·L^(-1),with adsorption capacities (Q) of 9.6~463.0 kBq·g^(-1).The adsorption equilibrium time was within one hour and the suitable pH ranged 1~10.No significant differences on ^(134)Cs adsorption were observed at 0~50℃,or in solutions containing Ca^(2+),Fe^(3+),Mg^(2+),HCO_3^-,CO_3^(2-),Cl and SO_4^(2-),even though they are 1000 times higher than the anions or cations in groundwater.However,the adsorption rates decreased when solutions contained K^+ or Na^+.The adsorption process could be described by Frcundlich and Langmuir adsorption equations.LI Bing LIAO Jiali WU Jiaojiao ZHANG Dong ZHAO Jun YANG Yuanyou CHENG Qiong FENG Yue LIU Ning 2008Nuclear Science and Techniques2008,19,2:5
5T cells expressing CD5/CD7 bispecific chimeric antigen receptors with fully human heavy-chain-only domains mitigate tumor antigen escape显示文摘Bispecific chimeric antigen receptor T-cell(CAR-T)therapies have shown promising results in clinical trials for advanced B-cell malignancies.However,it is challenging to broaden the success of bispecific CAR-T therapies to treat refractory/relapse(r/r)T-cell leukemia/lymphoma because targeting multiple T-cell-expressing antigens leads to exacerbated CAR-T cell fratricide and potential safety concerns.Fully human heavy chain variable(FHVH)antibodies that specifically target CD5 or CD7 were screened and constructed to CD5/CD7 bispecific CARs.A truncated Epidermal growth factor receptor were integrated into CAR constructs to address safety concerns.To tackle the fratricidal issue of CAR-T cells targeting T-cell-pan marker(s),CRISPR/Cas9-based CD5 and CD7 genes knockout were performed before lentiviral transduction of bispecific CARs.Functional comparison between different bispecific CAR structures:tandem CARs and dual CAR were performed in vitro and in vivo to determine the optimal construct suitable for addressing T-cell malignancy antigen escape in clinical setting.Knockout of CD5 and CD7 prevents fratricide of CD5/CD7 bispecific CAR-T cells,and FHVH-derived CD5/CD7 bispecific CAR-T cells demonstrate potent antitumor activity in vitro and in vivo.The fratricide-resistant FHVH-derived CD5/CD7 bispecific CAR-T cells have potent antitumor activity against T-cell malignancies,and tandem CARs are more effective than dual CAR in preventing tumor escape in heterogeneous leukemic cells.The meaningful clinical efficacy and safety of tandem CD5/CD7 CAR-T cells deserve to be explored urgently.Zhenyu Dai Wei Mu Ya Zhao Jiali Cheng Haolong Lin Kedong Ouyang Xiangyin Jia Jianwei Liu Qiaoe Wei Meng Wang Chaohong Liu Taochao Tan Jianfeng Zhou 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4:3
6HMGB1-mediated autophagy promotes gefitinib resistance in human non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)ranks the first in incidence and mortality among malignant tumors in China.Molecular targeted therapies such as gefitinib,an oral inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase,have shown significant benefits in patients with advanced NSCLC.However,most patients have unsatisfactory outcomes due to the development of drug resistance,and there is an urgent need to better understand the pathways involved in the resistance mechanisms.In this study,we found that HMGB1 is highly expressed in drug-resistant cells and confers to gefitinib resistance in NSCLC cells via activating autophagy process.Gefitinib upregulates HMGB1 expression in time-dependent and dose-dependent manners in human NSCLC cells.RNA interference-mediated knockdown of HMGB1 reduces PC9GR cell viability,induces apoptosis,and partially restores gefitinib sensitivity.Mechanistic analyses indicate that elevated HMGB1 expression contributes to gefitinib resistance by inducing autophagy.Thus,our results suggest that HMGB1 is an autophagy regulator and plays a key role in gefitinib resistance of NSCLC.Tianyao Lei Jiali Huang Fei Xie Jingyao Gu Zhixiang Cheng Zhaoxia Wang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,4:2
7Jupiter:a modern federated learning platform for regional medical care显示文摘With the emergence of AI technologies,intrinsic value of data is released and takes tremendous effects on numerous industries.In the context of regional medical care,data sharing and cooperating is in high demand,which can bring both financial and societal benefits.At present,however,medical data are locked inside medical facilities owing to legal risks and economic considerations.How to bring AI technologies into full play under this circumstance is a big challenge.In this paper,we propose Jupiter,an easy-to-use,secure,and high-performance platform for federated machine learning.Jupiter constructs a secure and highperformance aggregator cluster with SGX to efficiently aggregate the encrypted model parameters.Jupiter employs a stateful design to cooperate with medical facilities in regional medical systems with a fixed network connection.By providing an innovative programming abstraction,Jupiter makes model development more friendly to developers.The experiments show that with a low memory footprint,the throughput of a single node on an ordinary PC can reach 300 MB/s(with slice size fixed to 64 KB),and the aggregation primitive we built can process 11 k aggregations per second.Ju XING Jiadong TIAN Zexun JIANG Jiali CHENG Hao YIN 2021Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,10:2
8Risk Regionalization of Drought for Flue-cured Tobacco Planting in Qujing City Based on GIS显示文摘The risk regionalization of drought for flue-cured tobacco planting in Qujing City was studied to provide reference for drawing on advantages and avoiding disadvantages in flue-cured tobacco planting,disaster reduction,and disaster relief services.According to the production practice of flue-cured tobacco and local climate analysis,the risk of disaster-causing factors,sensitivity of disaster-breeding environment,vulnerability of carriers,and disaster prevention and reduction capability were analyzed and evaluated quantitatively.Secondly,starting from the formation mechanism of drought,a risk assessment model of the meteorological disaster was established by GIS technology.Finally,the risk assessment and regionalization of drought in the critical periods for drought-stricken flue-cured tobacco (transplanting period,root extending stage and vigorous growth period) in Qujing City were carried out.The results showed that in Qujing City,the risk areas of drought for flue-cured tobacco planting were divided into five grades in the transplanting period and six grades in the root extending stage and vigorous growth period.Pu Jicun Cheng Jiali Zhang Maosong Yuan Jiafeng Bai Bo 2019Meteorological and Environmental Research2019,10,5:1

12High-performance electronics and optoelectronics of monolayer tungsten diselenide full film from pre-seeding strategy显示文摘Tungsten diselenide (WSe2) possesses extraordinary electronic properties forapplications in electronics, optoelectronics, and emerging exciton physics. Thesynthesis of monolayer WSe2 film is of topmost for device arrays and integratedcircuits. The monolayer WSe2 film has yet been reported by thermal chemicalvapor deposition (CVD) approach, and the nucleation mechanism remainsunclear. Here, we report a pre-seeding strategy for finely regulating the nucleidensity at an early stage and achieving a fully covered film after chemicalvapor deposition growth. The underlying mechanism is heterogeneous nucle-ation from the pre-seeding tungsten oxide nanoparticles. At first, we optimized the precursor concentration for pre-seeding. Besides, we confirmed the superi-ority of the pre-seeding method, compared with three types of substrate pre-treatments, including nontreatment, sonication in an organic solvent, andoxygen plasma. Eventually, the high-quality synthetic WSe2 monolayer filmexhibits excellent device performance in field-effect transistors and photodetec-tors. We extracted thermodynamic activation energy from the nucleation andgrowth data. 13Targeting tumor endothelial hyperglycolysis enhances immunotherapy through remodeling tumor microenvironment显示文摘Vascular abnormality is a hallmark of most solid tumors and facilitates immune evasion.Targeting the abnormal metabolism of tumor endothelial cells(TECs)may provide an opportunity to improve the outcome of immunotherapy.Here,in comparison to vascular endothelial cells from adjacent peritumoral tissues in patients with colorectal cancer(CRC),TECs presented enhanced glycolysis with higher glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH)expression.Then an unbiased screening identified that osimertinib could modify the GAPDH and thus inhibit its activity in TECs.Low-dose osimertinib treatment caused tumor regression with vascular normalization and increased infiltration of immune effector cells in tumor,which was due to the reduced secretion of lactate from TECs by osimertinib through the inhibition of GAPDH.Moreover,osimertinib and anti-PD-1 blockade synergistically retarded tumor growth.This study provides a potential strategy to enhance immunotherapy by targeting the abnormal metabolism of TECs.Yunlong Shan Qi Ni Qixiang Zhang Mengying Zhang Bin Wei Lingge Cheng Chongjin Zhong Xinyu Wang Qingqing Wang Jiali Liu Jingwei Zhang Jingjing Wu Guangji Wang Fang Zhou 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,4:0

15Development and Validation of UHPLC-MS/MS Method for Quantifying of Agarotriose:An Application for Pharmacokinetic,Tissue Distribution,and Excretion Studies in Rats显示文摘A sensitive,rapid,and robust ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UHPLC-MS/MS)method was established for the first time to quantify agarotriose(A3)in rat plasma,tissues,urine,and feces.A3 and stachyose(internal standard)were separated by a BEH amide column at 65℃under the mobile phase of 10 mmol L^(-1)ammonium ace-tate-acetonitrile(42:58,v/v)with 350µLmin-1.The acquisition of transitions was carried out in multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)pattern operating with positive ionization at m/z 509.16>329.15 for A3 and m/z 689.15>527.11 for stachyose.The linearity ranges of A3 were 10 to 5000nmolL^(-1)for plasma,20 to 10000nmolL^(-1)for tissues,and 40 to 20000nmolL^(-1)for urine and feces.The accuracy and precision ranged from 90.9%to 111.6%and 0.7%to 10.1%,respectively.The stability was between 86.1%and 102.5%.The extraction recovery was consistent and reproducible.The matrix effect ranged from 1.5%to 11.4%.The pharmacokinetic,tissue dis-tribution,and excretion studies were successfully conducted with the validated method.Results showed that A3 could be absorbed by rats,and the absolute bioavailability was 6.7%.Furthermore,it was rapidly distributed in rat tissues and mainly eliminated via feces excretion(67.0%)after oral administration.For intravenous bolus,85.5%was recovered,and renal excretion was the primary path-way(77.6%)for cumulative recovery.YUE Jiali CHENG Wei WEI Shutong LIU Guilin ZHOU Meichen LV Zhihua YU Mingming 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,6:0
16Analysis of Characteristics of Hail Disaster and a Typical Hail Suppression Process in Qujing City显示文摘Based on the data of hail disaster in Qujing City and the detection data of the new generation of Doppler weather radar, the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of hail disaster and hail suppression operations in Qujing City were analyzed statistically, and the hail suppression operations of a typical cell case was analyzed. The results showed that the number of hail days and hail frequency showed an increasing trend in Qujing City from 2017 to 2022, and the number of artificial hail suppression operations increased accordingly. Hail disaster occurred most frequently in Xuanwei City. Through the analysis of hail suppression operations of a typical cell case, it is found that the operations were timely, and the location was reasonable. 17Geology,Geochemistry,and Genesis of the Tongcun Reduced Porphyry Mo(Cu) Deposit,NW Zhejiang Province,China显示文摘The Tongcun Mo(Cu) deposit in Kaihua city of Zhejiang Province,eastern China,occurs in and adjacent to the Songjiazhuang granodiorite porphyry and is a medium-sized and important porphyry type ore deposit.Two irregular Mo(Cu) orebodies consist of various types of hydrothermal veinlets.Intensive hydrothermal alteration contains skarnization,chloritization,carbonatization,silicification and sericitization.Based on mineral assemblages and crosscutting relationships,the oreforming processes are divided into five stages,i.e.,the early stage of garnet + epidote ± chlorite associated with skarnization and K-feldspar + quartz ± molybdenite veins associated with potassicsilicic alteration,the quartz-sulfides stage of quartz + molybdenite ± chalcopyrite ± pyrite veins,the carbonatization stage of calcite veinlets or stockworks,the sericite + chalcopyrite ± pyrite stage,and the late calcite + quartz stage.Only the quartz-bearing samples in the early stage and in the quartzsulfides stage are suitable for fluid inclusions(FIs) study.Four types of FIs were observed,including1) CO_2-CH_4 single phase FIs,2) CO_2-bearing two- or three-phase FIs,3) Aqueous two-phase FIs,and4) Aqueous single phase FIs.FIs of the early stages are predominantly CO_2- and CH_4-rich FIs of the CO_2-CH4-H_2O-NaCl system,whereas minerals in the quartz-sulfides stage contain CO_2-rich FIs of the CO_2-H_2O-NaCl system and liquid-rich FIs of the H_2O-NaCl system.For the CO_2-CH_4 single phase FIs of the early mineralization stage,the homogenization temperatures of the CO_2 phase range from 15.4 ℃ to 25.3 ℃(to liquid),and the fluid density varies from 0.7 g/cm^3 to 0.8 g/cm^3;for two- or three-phase FIs of the CO_2-CH_4-H_2O-NaCl system,the homogenization temperatures,salinities and densities range from 312℃ to 412℃,7.7 wt%NaCl eqv.to 10.9 wt%NaCl eqv.,and 0.9 g/cm^3 to 1.0 g/cm^3,respectively.For CO_2-H_2O-NaCI two- or threephase FIs of the quartz-sulfides stage,the homogenization temperatures and salinities range from255℃ to 418℃,4.8 wt%NaCl eqv.to 12.4 wt%NaCl eqv.,respectively;for H_2O-NaCl two-phase FIs,the homogenization temperatures range from 230 ℃ to 368 ℃,salinities from 11.7 wt%NaCl eqv.to16.9 wt%NaCl eqv.,and densities from 0.7 g/cm^3 to 1.0 g/cm^3.Microthermometric measurements and Laser Raman spectroscopy analyses indicate that CO_2 and CH_4 contents and reducibility(indicated by the presence of CH_4) of the fluid inclusions trapped in quartz-sulfides stage minerals are lower than those in the early stage.Twelve molybdenite separates yield a Re-Os isochron age of 163 ± 2.4 Ma,which is consistent with the emplacement age of the Tongcun,Songjiazhuang,Dayutang and Huangbaikeng granodiorite porphyries.The TANG Yanwen LI Xiaofeng XIE Yuling HUANG Cheng WEI Hao CAI Jiali YIN Yifan QIN Chaojian LIU Rong 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:0
18The biochemical behavior and mechanism of uranium(Ⅵ)bioreduction induced by natural Bacillus thuringiensis显示文摘For a broader understanding of uranium migration affected by microorganisms in natural anaerobic environment,the bioreduction of uranium(Ⅵ)(U(Ⅵ))was revealed in Bacillus thuringiensis,a dominant bacterium strain with potential of uranium-tolerant isolated from uranium contaminated soil.The reduction behavior was systematically investigated by the quantitative analysis of U(Ⅳ)in bacteria,and mechanism was inferred from the pathway of electron transmission.Under anaerobic conditions,appropriate biomass and sodium lactate as electron donor,reduction behavior of U(Ⅵ)induced by B.thuringiensis was restricted by the activity of lactate dehydrogenase,which was directly affected by the initial pH,temperature and initial U(Ⅵ)concentration of bioreduction system.Bioreduction of U(Ⅵ)was driven by the generation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)from enzymatic reaction of sodium lactate with various dehydrogenase.The transmission of the electrons from bacteria to U(Ⅵ)was mainly supported by the intracellular NADH dehydrogenase-ubiquinone system,this process could maintain the biological activity of cells.Shunzhang Chen Junyuan Gong Yanxia Cheng Yuqi Guo Feize Li Tu Lan Yuanyou Yang Jijun Yang Ning Liu Jiali Liao 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
19Diagnostic Analysis of Potential Vorticity in a Heavy Precipitation Process in Qujing in September 2017显示文摘Based on the observation data from the automatic rainfall station and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data,circulation analysis and diagnosis analysis of potential vorticity in a heavy rainfall process in September 2017 in Qujing were conducted.The results show that the heavy rainfall was mainly affected by the convergence zone between the two high pressures and shear line system,the precipitation area developed from the west to the southeast of Qujing,and the heavy rainfall area was concentrated in the central area.The southerly airflow in the middle and lower layers of the troposphere provided favorable water vapor conditions for heavy precipitation.The precipitation was characterized by high intensity,strong suddenness and small time scale.The heavy precipitation was concentrated from 04:00 to 06:00 on September 6.The high-and low-value centers of dry potential vorticity PV at 500 h Pa were indicative of the activities of cold and warm air in the process of heavy rainfall,and representative of the development of the convergence zone and the activities of shear line.That is to say,the high-value zone of dry potential vorticity PV at 500 h Pa was strengthened to penetrate into the center of Yunnan,leading the northerly airflow to the convergence zone.The deep southerly airflow in the relatively low-value zone of PV was uplifted to the north,converging the cold and warm air at the front of the convergence zone,resulting in heavy precipitation in Qujing.The high-value zone of wet potential vorticity MPV at 700 h Pa can also indicate the characteristics of unstable warm and humid air flow activity.MPV1<0,and MPV2>0,which easily caused the unstable energy release of wet convection and formed heavy precipitation.Tian Menglin Cheng Jiali Miao Rong 2019Meteorological and Environmental Research2019,10,6:0
