| 2 | Decreased osteogenesis of adult mesenchymal stem cel s by reactive oxygen species under cyclic stretch: a possible mechanism of age related osteoporosis显示文摘Age related defect of the osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) plays a key role in osteoporosis. Mechanical loading is one of the most important physical stimuli for osteoblast differentiation.Here, we compared the osteogenic potential of MSCs from young and adult rats under three rounds of 2 h of cyclic stretch of 2.5% elongation at 1 Hz on 3 consecutive days. Cyclic stretch induced a significant osteogenic differentiation of MSCs from young rats, while a compromised osteogenesis in MSCs from the adult rats.Accordingly, there were much more reactive oxygen species(ROS) production in adult MSCs under cyclic stretch compared to young MSCs. Moreover, ROS scavenger N-acetylcysteine rescued the osteogenic differentiation of adult MSCs under cyclic stretch. Gene expression analysis revealed that superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1) was significantly downregulated in those MSCs from adult rats. | 3 | Dysregulation of the miR-146a-Smad4 axis impairs osteogenesis of bone mesenchymal stem cells under inflammation显示文摘Osteoporosis is a common disease that affects patient quality of life, especially among the elderly population.Although inflammation contributes significantly to osteoporosis, the underlying mechanism is unclear. In this study, we found that tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, an inflammatory environment mimic, inhibits osteogenesis of bone mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs), induces mi R-146 a and decreases Smad4. Moreover,overexpression of mi R-146 a inhibited the osteogenic ability of BMSCs, whereas blocking mi R-146 a partially rescued the osteogenesis deficiency under TNF-α treatment. Molecularly, mi R-146 a decreased Smad4 expression at the protein level by binding to an element located in the Smad4 30-untranslated region, and restoration of Smad4 reversed the inhibitory effects of mi R-146 a on osteogenesis. | 5 | Electrodeposited NiSe2 on carbon fiber cloth as a flexible electrode for high-performance supercapacitors显示文摘A flexible electrode of nickel diselenide/carbon fiber cloth(NiSe_2/CFC) is fabricated at room temperature by a simple and efficient electrodeposition method. Owing to NiSe_2 character of nanostructure and high conductivity, the as-synthesized electrodes possess perfect pseudocapacitive property with high specific capacitance and excellent rate capability. In three-electrode system, the electrode specific capacitance of the NiSe_2/CFC electrode varies from 1058 F g^(-1) to 996.3 F g^(-1) at 2 A g^(-1) to 10 A g^(-1) respectively, which shows great rate capability. Moreover, the NiSe_2 electrode is assembled with an active carbon(AC) electrode to form an asymmetric supercapacitor with an extended potential window of 1.6 V. The asymmetric supercapacitor possesses an excellent energy density 32.7 Wh kg^(-1) with a power density 800 W kg^(-1) at the current density of 1 A g^(-1). | 9 | Acupoint catgut embedding versus acupuncture for simple obesity:a systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of acupoint catgut embedding and acupuncture on simple obesity by Meta-analysis. METHODS: Studies on clinical randomized controlled trials of acupoint catgut embedding for simple obesity which were published from January 2015 to November 2020 were searched in Cochrane Central Register of Control Trials(Central), Pub Med, China Science and Technology Journal Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database and Wanfang databases. And those that met the inclusion criteria were screened. Rev Man5.3 was used for Meta-analysis. The “Risk of Bias” tool was used to evaluate the quality of included studies. R studio software was used for the measurement of publication bias. RESULTS: A total of 33 studies were included for Metaanalysis, including 2685 patients with simple obesity. Meta-analysis results showed the comparison of effectiveness rate was relative risk(RR) = 1.12, 95%CI(1.08, 1.16), body mass index(BMI) was mean difference(MD) =-1.12, 95%CI(-2.09,-0.14), waist circumference was MD =-2.14, 95%CI(-4.22,-0.06), and body mass was MD =-2.36, 95%CI(-3.99,-0.73). On the basis of diet and exercise intervention, the effectiveness rate [RR = 1.12, 95%CI(1.05, 1.19)], BMI [MD =-0.88, 95%CI(-1.35,-0.40)], waist circumference [MD =-1.10, 95%CI(-4.27, 2.07)], and body mass [MD =-0.68, 95%CI(-2.90, 1.54)]. The risk of bias of included literatures was low. CONCLUSIONS: Acupoint catgut embedding therapy was slightly better than acupuncture therapy in most of the outcomes. | 11 | Investigation on the Transient Thermal Performance of a Mini-Channel Cold Plate for Battery Thermal Management显示文摘Cold plate is an important component for a liquid battery thermal management system.In order to study the transient thermal performance of the cold plate under conditions with sharply increasing heat loads,the numerical model of a battery cold plate is established.The validation experiment shows that the error between the simulation and experiment is around 2.5%to 5%.Effects of the coolant flow rate,the increase in heat flux,and the channel number are analyzed to study the transient thermal performance of the cold plate.Results show that the average temperature of the cold plate at 540 s is lowered from 28.3℃ to 26.9℃ when the coolant flow rate is raised from 0.065 kg/s to 0.165 kg/s.The temperature deviation is decreased when the coolant flow rate is increased from 0.065 kg/s to 0.115 kg/s;however,it is slightly increased if the coolant flow rate is further increased.Both average temperature and temperature deviation are raised if the final heat flux is increased from11000 W/m^(2) to 16500 W/m^(2),which are 2 and 3 times of the initial,respectively.In addition,increasing the channel number has slightly positive effect on the average temperature of the cold plate,while the temperature deviation is increased when the channel number is increased from 3 to 11 due to the non-uniform velocity distribution between each channel.The results of this study will be helpful during the design of cold plate for battery thermal management,especially for transient conditions with sudden rising heat loads like thermal runaway. | FANG Yidong SHEN Jiali ZHU Yue YE Fei LI Kang SU Lin | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3: | 2 |

| 16 | Random mating mayfly algorithm for RFID network planning显示文摘In order to improve robustness and efficiency of the radio frequency identification(RFID)network,a random mating mayfly algorithm(RMMA)was proposed.Firstly,RMMA introduced the mechanism of random mating into the mayfly algorithm(MA),which improved the population diversity and enhanced the exploration ability of the algorithm in the early stage,and find a better solution to the RFID nework planning(RNP)problem.Secondly,in RNP,tags are usually placed near the boundaries of the working space,so the minimum boundary mutation strategy was proposed to make sure the mayflies which beyond the boundary can keep the original search direction,as to enhance the ability of searching near the boundary.Lastly,in order to measure the performance of RMMA,the algorithm is then benchmarked on three well-known classic test functions,and the results are verified by a comparative study with particle swarm optimization(PSO),grey wolf optimization(GWO),and MA.The results show that the RMMA algorithm is able to provide very competitive results compared to these well-known meta-heuristics,RMMA is also applied to solve RNP problems.The performance evaluation shows that RMMA achieves higher coverage than the other three algorithms.When the number of readers is the same,RMMA can obtain lower interference and get a better load balance in each instance compared with other algorithms.RMMA can also solve RNP problem stably and efficiently when the number and position of tags change over time. | Xie Xiaode Zheng Jiali Lin Zihan He Siyi Feng Minyu | 2022 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2022,29,5: | 1 |

| 19 | Prediction of Grinding Force by an Electroplated Grinding Wheel with Orderly-Micro-Grooves显示文摘The ability to predict a grinding force is important to control,monitor,and optimize the grinding process.Few theoretical models were developed to predict grinding forces when a structured wheel was used in a grinding process.This paper aimed to establish a single-grit cutting force model to predict the ploughing,friction and cutting forces in a grinding process.It took into the consideration of actual topography of the grinding wheel,and a theoretical grinding force model for grinding hardened AISI 52100 by the wheel with orderly-micro-grooves was proposed.The model was innovative in the sense that it represented the random thickness of undeformed chips by a probabilistic expression,and it reflected the microstructure characteristics of the structured wheel explicitly.Note that the microstructure depended on the randomness of the protruding heights and distribution density of the grits over the wheel.The proposed force prediction model was validated by surface grinding experiments,and the results showed(1)a good agreement of the predicted and measured forces and(2)a good agreement of the changes of the grinding forces along with the changes of grinding parameters in the prediction model and experiments.This research proposed a theoretical grinding force model of an electroplated grinding wheel with orderly-micro-grooves which is accurate,reliable and effective in predicting grinding forces. | Cong Mao Jiali Wang Mingjun Zhang Xincheng Wang Yuanqiang Luo Weidong Tang Kun Tang Zhuming Bi Yongle Hu Zhenheng Lin | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,4: | 0 |
| 20 | RFID network planning based on improved brain storm optimization algorithm显示文摘In order to improve the service quality of radio frequency identification(RFID) systems, multiple objectives should be comprehensively considered. An improved brain storm optimization algorithm GABSO, which incorporated adaptive learning operator and golden sine operator into the original brain storm optimization(BSO) algorithm, was proposed to solve the problem of RFID network planning(RNP). GABSO algorithm introduces learning operator and golden sine operator to achieve a balance between exploration and development. Based on GABSO algorithm, an optimization model is established to optimize the position of the reader. The GABSO algorithm was tested on the RFID model and dataset, and was compared with other methods. The GABSO algorithm’s tag coverage was increased by 9.62% over the Cuckoo search(CS) algorithm, and 7.70% over BSO.
