1Shape-controlled synthesis of highly monodisperse and small size gold nanoparticles显示文摘We describe here that fine control of nanoparticle shape and size can be achieved by systematic varia-tion of experimental parameters in the seeded growth procedure in aqueous solution. Cubic and spherical gold nanoparticles are obtained respectively. In particularly, the Au cubes are highly mono-disperse in 33±2 nm diameter. The experimental methods involve the preparation of Au seed particles and the subsequent addition of an appropriate quantity of Au seed solution to the aqueous growth solutions containing desired quantities of CTAB and ascorbic acid (AA). Here, AA is a weak reducing agent and CTAB is not only a stable agent for nanoparticles but also an inductive agent for leading increase in the face of nanoparticle. Ultraviolet visible spectroscopy (UV-vis), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) are used to characterize the nanoparticles. 3Two-dimensional array of nanoparticles intermitted by long chain molecules显示文摘It is an important theme in nanoscience to control the interval of the ordered array of nanoparticles through modifying the chain length of the passivating molecules of the nanoparticles. The theme runs through most of the applications of the ordered array of nanoparticles. Though the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique is one of the most important ways to prepare the two-dimensional ordered array of nanoparticles, it has only been used in case that the passivating molecules are short enough (<C12). When the passivating molecules become longer, it is difficult to obtain the ordered array of the particles simply by compressing them on the surface of water. The present work focused on the formation of the two-dimensional array of the octadecyl-amine-passivated gold nanoparticles at the air/water interface. By properly modifying the ordinary LB technique, the long-term two-dimensional ordered array of nanoparticles was successfully achieved. 10Distribution of PCDD/Fs in a food waste anaerobic digestion process with biogas utilization显示文摘Food waste(FW)is a major component of municipal solid waste(MSW)in developing countries such as China.Anaerobic digestion(AD)is a widely-applied FW biological treatment method following MSW classification.With FW diversion from conventional incineration plants,the environmental risk caused by trace toxic pollutants,such as polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs),should be reevaluated.This study investigated a full-scale FW-AD plant in Shenzhen,China,and addressed two important underexplored issues:the distribution patterns of PCDD/Fs during the FW-AD process and PCDD/F emission characteristics of the biogas utilization exhaust gas.Mass balance demonstrated a negative balance of 2.48μg I-TEQ/t of raw FW(RFW),thus indicating that AD produced moderate PCDD/F emissions.The detailed findings were as follows:1)PCDD/F toxic equivalents(TEQs)in pure FW(RFW without impurities)were lower than in RFW,indicating that MSW source separation is crucial for decreasing the PCDD/F input into the AD system;2)PCDD/F contents(6.20–8.27 pg I-TEQ/g dry weight)in solid digestate were near the screening value of development land in China’s national standard(GB36600-2018),thus indicating that the potential environmental risk from the land application of solid digestate should be considered;and 3)PCDD/F TEQs(0.001–0.022 ng I-TEQ/Nm^(3))in biogas utilization exhaust gas were roughly equivalent to those produced by MSW incinerators in Shenzhen.This study indicated that compared with co-incineration with other waste,FW-AD will reduce PCDD/F emissions(air)from MSW incineration plants by 12.5%–21.3%at the national level under an FW separation scenario.Junxiao Wei Jinru Zhang Huan Li Jianguo Liu Zhou Deng Chao Zhou 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,11:0

12Rapid chemome profiling of Artemisia capillaris Thunb. using direct infusion-mass spectrometry显示文摘Background:As one of the most popular traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs)for the treatment of various liver diseases,virgate wormwood herb(Artemisia capillaris Thunb.)has a long application history in TCM practices.It has been well established that the chemical composition is responsible for the pronounced therapeutic spectrum of A.capillaris.Although they are comprehensive,the time-intensive liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry(LCeMS/MS)assays cannot fully satisfy the analytical measurement workload from many test samples.Direct infusion-MS/MS(DIeMS/MS)may be the optimal choice to achieve high-throughput analysis if the mass spectrometer can universally record MS2 spectra.Methods:According to the application of gas phase ion fractionation concept,the MS/MSALL program enables to gain MS2 spectrum for each nominal m/z value with a data-independent acquisition algorithm via segmenting the entire MS1 ion cohort into sequential ion pieces with 1 Da width,when sufficient measurement time is allowed by DI approach.Here,rapid clarification of the chemical composition was attempted for A.capillaris using DIeMS/MSALL.A.capillaris extract was imported directly into the electrospray ionization interface to obtain the MS/MSALL measurement.After the MS1-MS2 dataset was well organized,we focused on structural characterization through retrieving information from the available databases and literature.Results:Twenty-six compounds were found,including 12 caffeoyl quinic acid derivatives,7 flavonoids,and 7 compounds belonging to other chemical families.Among them,24 ones were structurally identified.Compared with the LCeMS/MS technique,DIeMS/MSALL has the advantages of low-costing,solvent-saving,and time-saving.Conclusions:Chemical profiling of A.capillaris extract was accomplished within 5 min by DIeMS/MSALL,and this technique can be an alternative choice for chemical profile characterization of TCMs due to its extraordinary high-throughput advantage.Wenjing Liu Libo Cao Jinru Jia Han Li Wei Li Jun Li Yuelin Song 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2021,8,4:0
13A novel AgNPs/MOF substrate-based SERS sensor for high-sensitive on-site detection of wheat gluten显示文摘Gluten,known as the major allergen in wheat,has gained increasing concerns in industrialized countries,resulting in an urgent need for accurate,high-sensitive,and on-site detection of wheat gluten in complex food systems.Herein,we proposed a silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)/metal-organic framework(MOF)substrate-based surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)sensor for the high-sensitive on-site detection of wheat gluten.The detection occurred on the newly in-situ synthesized AgNPs/MOF-modified SERS substrate,providing an enhancement factor(EF)of 1.89×10^(5).Benefitting from the signal amplification function of AgNPs/MOF and the superiority of SERS,this sensor represented high sensitivity performance and a wide detection range from 1×10^(-15)mol/L to 2×10^(-6)mol/L with a detection limit of 1.16×10^(-16)mol/L,which allowed monitoring the trace of wheat gluten in complex food system without matrix interference.This reliable sandwich SERS sensor may provide a promising platform for high-sensitive,accurate,and on-site detection of allergens in the field of food safety.Linglin Fu Yanzhuo Du Jinru Zhou Huan Li Minzi Wang Yanbo Wang 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2:0
14An antifouling polydopamine-based fluorescent aptasensor for determination of arginine kinase显示文摘Simple yet efficient detection methods for food allergens are in urgent need to help people avoid the risks imposed by allergenic food.In this work,a polydopamine(PDA)-based fluorescent aptasensor was developed to detect arginine kinase(AK),one of the major allergens in shellfish.The aptamer towards AK was firstly selected via systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment method and labeled with fluorescein amidite(FAM)to build a fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET)system with PDA particles.Polyethylene glycol(PEG)was employed to construct an antifouling surface for the aptasensor to eliminate food matrix interferences.With the presence of AK,the PDA-based aptasensor exhibited elevated fluorescent signals as the FAM-labeled aptamer bound to AK and detached from the PDA particles.The aptasensor showed great stability and resistance to nonspecific interference of background proteins and had a limit of detection(LOD)of 0.298μg/mL.The proposed aptasensor was further proved to be feasible for quantitative analysis of AK in nine species of shrimps and five commercial processed products,which indicated its high potential in tracing the presence of AK in complex aquatic products.Yanbo Wang Huan Li Jinru Zhou Fangting Wang Yifan Qian Linglin Fu 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3:0

16Effect of Different Loadings on the Performance of Ni2P/Al2O3 Catalysts for Low-Temperature Thioethering and Selective Hydrogenation of Diolefins in Liquefied Petroleum Gas显示文摘In this study,different loadings of x%Ni_(2)P/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)(x=6%,9%,12%,15%,18%)catalysts with aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3))as the carrier,nickel chloride(NiCl2)as the nickel(Ni)source,and ammonium hypophosphite(NH_(4)H_(2)PO_(2))as the phosphorus(P)source were prepared by the equal volume impregnation method to investigate the effects of different loadings on the performance of the selective hydrogenation of diolefins and thiol etherification in LPG.The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by XRD,BET,SEM,TEM,H_(2)-TPR,and XPS,and the catalytic activity of the catalysts was evaluated in a fixed-bed microreactor.The results showed that a change in the loading affected the catalyst crystalline phase structure and size,specific surface area,P coverage,active phase dispersion,and catalytic activity.At 6%,9%,and 12%loadings the catalysts had an Ni phase but there was no obvious Ni_(2)P phase in the nickel phosphide;at 15%loading a single Ni_(2)P phase was obtained,and at 18%loading both Ni_(2)P and Ni1_(2)P_(5) phases appeared.There was a P enrichment on the catalyst surface,and the higher the loading the more P species were enriched on the surface,but some of the P was lost during the catalyst reduction process due to the production of phosphine(PH3)gas.The 15%Ni_(2)P/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst had the largest Ni/Al ratio and the best dispersion.The Ni_(2)P active phase size was small at about 4.25 nm and Ni_(2)P was uniformly dispersed on the catalyst surface without agglomeration.The 15%Ni_(2)P/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst had the best catalytic activity at a pressure of 2.0 MPa,a liquid hourly space velocity(LHSV)of 3.0 h-1,and a hydrogen to hydrocarbon ratio of 12.The 1,3-butadiene conversion was 97.45%and the methanethiol removal was 100%at a temperature of 140℃.Xiao Han Sun Jinru Song Guoliang Xie Xianna Ke Ming Tong Yanbing Zhao Zhiping Wang Zijian Li Jiahan 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,1:0

18M1 macrophage-related gene model for NSCLC immunotherapy response prediction显示文摘Patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)have a limited lifespan and exhibit poor immunotherapy outcomes.M1 macrophages have been found to be essential for antitumor immunity.This study aims to develop an immunotherapy response evaluation model for NSCLC patients based on transcription.RNA sequencing profiles of 254 advanced-stage NSCLC patients treated with immunotherapy are downloaded from the POPLAR and OAK projects.Immune cell infiltration in NSCLC patients is examined,and thereafter,different coexpressed genes are identified.Next,the impact of M1 macrophage-related genes on the prognosis of NSCLC patients is investigated.Six M1 macrophage coexpressed genes,namely,NKX2-1,CD8A,SFTA3,IL2RB,IDO1,and CXCL9,exhibit a strong association with the prognosis of NSCLC and serve as effective predictors for immunotherapy response.A response model is constructed using a Cox regression model and Lasso Cox regression analysis.The M1 genes are validated in our TD-FOREKNOW NSCLC clinical trial by RT-qPCR.The response model shows excellent immunotherapy response prediction and prognosis evaluation value in advanced-stage NSCLC.This model can effectively predict advanced NSCLC prognosis and aid in identifying patients who could benefit from customized immunotherapy as well as sensitive drugs.Sifan Wu Qiqi Sheng Pengjun Liu Zhe Jiao Jinru Lv Rong Qiao Dongkun Xie Zanhan Wang Jiamei Ge Penghui Li Tiaoxia Wei Jie Lei Jieyi Fan Liang Wang 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,3:0
