1Study on cosmogenic activation in germanium detectors for future tonne-scale CDEX experiment显示文摘A study on cosmogenic activation in germanium was carried out to evaluate the cosmogenic background level of natural and ^(70)Ge depleted germanium detectors. The production rates of long-lived radionuclides were calculated with Geant4 and CRY.Results were validated by comparing the simulated and experimental spectra of CDEX-1B detector. Based on the validated codes, the cosmogenic background level was predicted for further tonne-scale CDEX experiment. The suppression of cosmogenic background level could be achieved by underground germanium crystal growth and high-purity germanium detector fabrication to reach the sensitivity requirement for direct detection of dark matter. 2First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 3First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). 4Porous SiC ceramics fabricated by quick freeze casting and solid state sintering显示文摘Porous SiC ceramics with uniform microstructure were fabricated by quick freezing in liquid nitrogen and solid state sintering.Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) was added as binder and pore morphology controller in this work.The microstructure and mechanical properties of porous SiC ceramics could be controlled by the composition of the aqueous slurries.Both solid content of the slurries and PVA content impacted on the pore structures and mechanical properties of the porous SiC ceramics.The solid content of slurries and PVA content varied from 60 to 67.5 wt%and 2-6 wt%,respectively.Besides,the grain morphology of ceramics was also tailored by changing the sintering temperature from 2050 to 2150 ℃.Porous SiC ceramics with an average porosity of 42.72%,flexural strength of 59.28 MPa were obtained at 2150 ℃ from 67.5 wt% slurries with 2 wt% PVA.Feng Wang Jinwei Yin Dongxu Yao Yongfeng Xia Kaihui Zuo Yuping Zeng 2017Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2017,27,3:2
5The improved mechanical properties of Al matrix composites reinforced with oriented β-Si3N4 whisker显示文摘The β-Si3N4 whiskers (β-Si3N4w) reinforced A1 matrix com posites were first fabricated by hot pressing, then treated through hot extrusion. The microstructure characterization dem onstrated the preferred orientations of both β-Si3N4w and A1 grains in the as-extruded composites. It indicated th at β-Si3N4w were aligned along the extrusion direction and A1 grains exhibited a distinct <111>ai texture. The interface betw een β-Si3N4w and A1 was in a good bonding status without voids and reaction products. Effects of extrusion process on the mechanical properties of com posites were also investigated. The results indicated the extrusion process had a prom inent strengthening effect on the mechanical properties of composites. The maxim umyield strength and ultim ate tensile strength of com posites reached up to 170 and 289 MPa, respectively, accompanied by a 12.3% elongation at fracture w hen the w hisker fraction was 15 vol.%. This im provem ent was collectively attributed to the densification of composites, the strong interface, and the preferred orientation inside composites. 7In-situ hydrothermal synthesized γ-Al_2O_3/O-g-C_3N_4 heterojunctions with enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity in water splitting for hydrogen显示文摘In this work,γ-Al_2O_3 and hydrogen peroxide treated g-C_3N_4(O-g-C_3N_4) were combined through a novel in-situ hydrothermal method to form heterojunction structured photocatalysts.These photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL).FT-IR results indicate that oxygen functional groups can be grafted on the surface of O-g-C_3N_4 by hydrogen peroxide treatment.The visible light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate was investigated in 10 vol% TEOA aqueous solution.The optimal Al_2O_3 mass content is set to be 20 wt% and the corresponding hydrogen evolution rate is 1288 μmol/h/g which is approximately 6,3 folds that of pristine g-C_3N_4 and O-g-C_3N_4 respectively and 1.6 folds that of mechanical mixed composite with the same Al_2O_3 mass content.The photocurrent density–time curves were carried out under visible light illumination for four on–off cycles.The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) measurements verified the enhanced separation efficiency of electron–hole pairs.This work raised a new method to form the heterojunction structured photocatalysts and achieved a remarkable improvement of the photocatalytic activity in water splitting for hydrogen under visible light irradiation.Yu Wang Yaping Zeng Boqiao Li Anqi Li Ping Yang Liu Yang Gang Wang Jinwei Chen Ruilin Wang 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,4:1

11Enhancement of silicon sub‑bandgap photodetection by helium‑ion implantation显示文摘Silicon sub-bandgap photodetectors can detect light at the infrared telecommunication wavelengths but with relatively weak photo-response.In this work,we demonstrate the enhancement of sub-bandgap photodetection in silicon by helium-ion implantation,without afecting the transparency that is an important benefcial feature of this type of photodetectors.With an implantation dose of 1×10^(13)ions/cm^(2),the minimal detectable optical power can be improved from−33.2 to−63.1 dBm,or,by 29.9 dB,at the wavelength of 1550 nm,and the photo-response at the same optical power(−10 dBm)can be enhanced by approximately 18.8 dB.Our work provides a method for strategically modifying the intrinsic trade-of between transparency and strong photo-responses of this type of photodetectors.Zhao Wang Xiaolei Wen Kai Zou Yun Meng Jinwei Zeng Jian Wang Huan Hu Xiaolong Hu 2023Frontiers of Optoelectronics2023,16,4:0

13Influence of Yb_2O_3-MgO on Mechanical Properties and Thermal Conductivity of Silicon Nitride Ceramics via Gas Pressure Sintering显示文摘In this work,Yb2O3 and Mg O were used as sintering aids in preparing silicon nitride ceramics by gas pressure sintering( 0. 6 MPa N2atmosphere) to investigate how the amounts of Yb2O3- Mg O influence the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of silicon nitride ceramics. The total contents of Yb2O3- Mg O added were 1 mol%,2 mol%,4 mol%,6 mol%,8 mol%,10 mol%,12 mol%,14 mol%,keeping the Yb2O3-Mg O molar ratio of 1 ∶ 1 steadily. Curves of the relative density,thermal conductivity and bending strength plotted against the aids content present a ‘mountain'shape with a maximum at nearly 10 mol% aids. The fracture toughness increased with the amounts of additives up to10 mol% and decreased slightly thereafter. The mechanical properties and thermal conductivity were almost proportional to the amount of the additives before10 mol%. When the content of aids exceeded 10 mol%,it would weaken the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the ceramics. 14Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Cu Matrix Composites Reinforced by TiB_(2)/TiN Ceramic Reinforcements显示文摘Cu matrix composites reinforced by TiB_(2)/TiN ceramic reinforcements(Cu/TBN composites)were prepared by hot pressing method.Prior to the hot pressing,Cu/TiB_(2)/TiN composite powders(CTBN powders),which were used as the starting materials of Cu/TBN composites,were fabricated by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method.The CTBN particles were found to be in a special core–shell structure with a Cu–Ti alloy core and a TiB_(2)/TiN ceramic shell.The test results presented obvious improvements in mechanical properties.The highest ultimate tensile strength reached up to 297 MPa,77 MPa higher than that of Cu.And the highest hardness reached up to 70.7 HRF,15.7 HRF higher than that of Cu.A comparative study indicated that the core–shell structured particles could bring about more obvious strengthening eff ect than the traditional irregularly shaped particles,which was due to the improved Cu/ceramics interfacial bonding,the linkage strengthening effect of both TiB_(2) and TiN,and higher load bearing ability of the core–shell structured reinforcements.Jinwei Yin Peilong Zhou Hanqin Liang Dongxu Yao Yongfeng Xia Kaihui Zuo YuPing Zeng 2020Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2020,33,12:0

19Creation and erasure of polar bubble domains in PbTiO_(3)films by mechanical stress and light illuminations显示文摘The controllable manipulation of polar topological structures(e.g.skyrmion bubble)in ferroelectric materials have been considered as a cornerstone for future programmable nano-electronics.Here,we present the effective creation and erasure of polar bubble states PbTiO_(3)(PTO)multilayers trigged by mechanical stress and light illumination,respectively.It was found that applying atomic force microscope(AFM)tip force can induced formation of nanoscale bubble domains from the initial monodomain state.Moreover,the created bubble domain can be eliminated by exposure to ultraviolet or infrared light illumination.The above results can be understood by modulation of depolarization screening charges and bias fields,as reflected by scanning Kelvin potential microscopic(SKPM)observations,whereby the flexoelectric effect from the tip force tends to remove the screening charges on top surface and modulate the bias field that favors the formation of bubble state while light illumination tends to recover the screen charges and favor the monodomain state.The results provide a good example for multi-field manipulation of polar topologies,which might create a new avenue towards the immerging new concept electronic devices.Xingchen Zhang Hongying Chen Guo Tian Wenda Yang Zhen Fan Zhipeng Hou Deyang Chen Min Zeng Minghui Qin Jinwei Gao Xingsen Gao Jun-Ming Liu 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,4:0
