1Synthesis of Porous NiO Nanocrystals with Controllable Surface Area and Their Application as Supercapacitor Electrodes显示文摘We report a facile way to grow various porous NiO nanostructures including nanoslices,nanoplates,and nanocolumns,which show a structure-dependence in their specific charge capacitances.The formation of controllable porosity is due to the dehydration and re-crystallization of β-Ni(OH)_(2) nanoplates synthesized by a hydrothermal process.Thermogravimetric analysis shows that the decomposition temperature of the β-Ni(OH)_(2) nanostructures is related to their morphology.In electrochemical tests,the porous NiO nanostructures show stable cycling performance with retention of specific capacitance over 1000 cycles.Interestingly,the formation of nanocolumns by the stacking of β-Ni(OH)_(2) nanoslices/plates favors the creation of small pores in the NiO nanocrystals obtained after annealing,and the surface area is over five times larger than that of NiO nanoslices and nanoplates.Consequently,the specific capacitance of the porous NiO nanocolumns(390 F/g)is significantly higher than that of the nanoslices(176 F/g)or nanoplates(285 F/g)at a discharge current of 5 A/g.This approach provides a clear illustration of the process-structure-property relationship in nanocrystal synthesis and potentially offers strategies to enhance the performance of supercapacitor electrodes.Xiaojun Zhang Wenhui Shi Jixin Zhu Weiyun Zhao Jan Ma Subodh Mhaisalkar Tuti Lim Maria Yanhui Yang Hua Zhang Huey Hoon Hng Qingyu Yan 2010Nano Research2010,3,9:24

3Physicochemical water quality parameters in typical rice-crayfish integrated systems(RCIS)in China显示文摘To determine the variation of water quality in rice-crayfish(Procambarus clarkii)integrated systems(RCIS)in China,eleven water quality parameters were measured monthly in a typical RCIS located in Qianjiang City(Hubei Province)from July 2014 to June 2015,the parameters were analyzed with principal component analysis(PCA)and compared between the trenches and rice areas during the rice fallow period(Nov-May).The trench and rice area comprehensive results showed that pH(7.48-8.68),NH_(4)^(+)-N(0.2-1.09 mg/L),NO_(2)^(-)-N(<0.052 mg/L)and conductivity(435-951μS/cm)were within the suitable ranges for P.clarkii and that turbidity(TU)was high during the crayfish harvesting and rice planting season.Annual averages of total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),permanganate index(CODMn),and chlorophyll a(Chl.a)content were<2(except in Nov-Dec),0.25,10 mg/L,and 50 mg/m^(3)(especially in Nov-May,<10 mg/m^(3)),respectively.Dissolved oxygen(DO)was below 4 mg/L in Mar-Sep,with a minimum of~1 mg/L,and much higher in Oct-Feb.The maximum and minimum monthly average water temperature(WT)were 31.4°C in July and 5.7°C in December,while the maximum and minimum instantaneous WT were 39.7°C and 2.5°C,respectively.PCA analysis showed that the first three axes,which were mainly correlated with DO,WT and nutrient level,described most information of the parameters,and parameters showed seasonal changes.Some differences were observed in water parameters between the trenches and rice areas,i.e.,trenches generally had higher TU,WT and DO,and lower TN,TP and CODMn,although no significant differences were found in some months and some parameters.The study revealed relatively low water nutrient level,probable extreme WT and DO level in some seasons,and certain differences between the trenches and rice areas in typical CRIS in China.Accordingly,some measures should be taken to improve the negative parameters:1)enhance the water fertility;2)increase DO,especially in Mar-Sep;3)increase the trench and water depth to avoid extreme WT.And water quality management should be addressed in both trenches and rice areas.Jixin Yu Yan Ren Tao Xu Wei Li Mantang Xiong Tanglin Zhang Zhongjie Li Jiashou Liu 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,3:6
4A Low Power,High Sensitivity SiGe HBT Static Frequency Divider up to 90 GHz for Millimeter-Wave Application显示文摘A layout and connection optimization for static frequency divider is presented. The layout optimization provides a new circle topology transistors placement and reasonable connection structure, which reduces the parasitic effectively and enables self-oscillation frequency enhancement. Besides, bandwidth enhancement techniques based on a center-tap capacitor in input balun design and inductive peaking in latch design are adopted to improve further high frequency performance with low power consumption. As a proof of concept, design of a divide-by-2 static frequency divider in 0.13 μm SiGe BiCMOS technology is reported. With single-ended input clock signal, the divider is measured to be operated from 40 to 90 GHz. Phase noise measurements of a 90 GHz input clock signal indicate ideal behavior with no measurable noise contribution from the divider. The divider followed by a buffer that can deliver more than-10 dBm output power, which is sufficient to drive succeeding stage. 5Controllable synthesis of grain boundary-enriched Pt nanoworms decorated on graphitic carbon nanosheets for ultrahigh methanol oxidation catalytic activity显示文摘Although one-dimensional Pt nanocrystals have long been regarded as ideal electrode catalysts for fuel cells,the synthetic techniques commonly involve the use of various complicated templates or surfactants,which have largely hampered their large-scale industrial application.Herein,we present a convenient and cost-effective approach to the stereoassembly of quasi-one-dimensional grain boundary-enriched Pt nanoworms on nitrogen-doped low-defect graphitic carbon nanosheets(Pt NWs/NL-CNS).Benefiting from its numerous catalytically active grain boundaries as well as optimized electronic structure,the as-derived Pt NWs/NL-CNS catalyst possesses exceptionally good electrocatalytic properties for methanol oxidation,including an ultrahigh mass activity of 1949.5 mA mg^(-1), reliable long-term durability,and strong poison tolerance,affording one of the most active Pt-based electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation reaction.Density functional theory calculation further reveals that the formation of worm-shape Pt morphology is attributed to the modified electronic structure as well as controllable defect density of the carbon matrix,which could also weaken the adsorption ability of Pt towards CO molecule and meanwhile synergistically promotes the catalytic reaction kinetics.Huajie Huang Yujie Wei Ying Yang Minmin Yan Haiyan He Quanguo Jiang Xiaofei Yang Jixin Zhu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:2

11Research on Silicon-Based Terahertz Communication Integrated Circuits显示文摘With the increasing number of users and emerging new applications, the demand for mobile data traffic is growing rapidly. The limited spectrum resources of the traditional microwave and millimeter-wave frequency bands can no longer support the future wireless communication systems with higher system capacity and data throughput. The terahertz(THz) frequency bands have abundant spectrum resources, which can provide sufficient bandwidth to expand channel capacity and increase transmission data rate. In addition, with the rapid development of silicon-based semiconductor technology,its characteristic size keeps decreasing, and the radio frequency performance of active devices is gradually approaching the performance of III-V semiconductor technology. The realization of THz communication systems based on low-cost, high-stability, and easy-to-integrate silicon-based process has become a feasible solution. 13A compact MIMO automotive radar using phase-aligned daisy-chain cascading topology and elevation compensation for 2D angle estimation显示文摘To design a high-performance multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)automotive radar system with simple hardware architecture,this study presents a daisy-chain cascading design scheme,implementing the two-dimensional(2D)nonuniform antenna array with high-gain antennas for 2D angle estimation.The improvements in the designed radar system are primarily divided into three parts.First,a daisy-chain cascading topology will cause severe phase deviations;hence,we rigorously analyzed the influence of the phase deviations and proposed a low-cost phase-alignment procedure to address this concern.Second,to obtain 2D angular resolution and a longer working range with limited channels,a novel 2D antenna array design principle facilitating the arrangement of high-gain antennas was presented.Third,a new phase compensation procedure was developed to mitigate the deterioration of angular accuracy in the elevation plane.Based on the proposed design scheme,a frequency-modulated continuous-wave(FMCW)radar prototype with two transceiver chips,i.e.,six transmitters and eight receivers,was successfully built.The prototype radar system’s performance was tested through an anechoic chamber and outdoor experiments.Consequently,an angular resolution of 3.5°in azimuth and 12.5°in elevation was featured in the anechoic chamber.Furthermore,using the 2D conventional beam-forming,the outdoor experiment captured high-resolution 2D angular estimation results,thus demonstrating the superior performance of the designed prototype system.Rui ZHOU Jixin CHEN Yan HUANG Gang XU Debin HOU Bangjie ZHANG Zekun LI Yu XIANG Wei HONG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,6:0

15Petrophysical properties and their influencing factors of carbonates in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation, Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘Based on the measurements of petrological, petrophysical and elastic properties of the samples of different sedimentary facies in the fourth member of Sinian Dengying Formation (Deng 4 Member) in the Sichuan Basin, the diagenetic processes of reservoirs of different sedimentary facies and their controls on the petrophysical properties were discussed. The results show that cracks and mineral composition jointly control the petrophysical properties, and both are significantly influenced by sedimentary environment and diagenesis. The microbial dolomite of mound-shoal facies mainly experienced multi-stage dolomitization, penecontemporaneous dissolution, tectonic rupture and hydrothermal/organic acid dissolution processes, giving rise to cracks and dissolved pores. The grannular dolomite of inter-mound-shoal bottomland or dolomitic lagoon facies mainly underwent mechanical compaction, burial dolomitization and tectonic-hydrothermal action, creating cracks and intercrystalline pores. The diagenesis related to crack development increases the pressure- and saturation-dependent effects of samples, leading to significant decrease in the compressional wave impedance and Poisson's ratio. Dolomitization changes the properties of mineral particles, resulting in a Poisson's ratio close to dolomite. The muddy, siliceous and calcareous sediments in the low-energy environment lead to the decrease of impedance and the differential change of Poisson's ratio (significantly increased or decreased).
