1LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating and phenocryst EPMA of dikes, Guocheng, Jiaodong Peninsula: Implications for North China Craton lithosphere evolution显示文摘Widespread dike swarm, including diorite-, monzonite-porphyry and lamprophyre, intruded in the al- tered breccia gold deposits along basin marginal faults, Guocheng, Jiaodong Peninsula. Petrography exhibits biotite enclaves in amphibole phenocrysts and the presence of acicular apatites in these dikes. Electron probe microanalyses (EPMA) show that the amphibole and clinopyroxene phenocryst’s mantle in diorite porphyry and lamprophyre respectively has sharply higher MgO (Mg#) and Cr2O3 contents in contrast to their cores. The plagioclase phenocryst in monzonite porphyry has reverse zoning. These results indicate that the magma mixing between mantle-derived mafic and crust-derived felsic magmas occurred in the original process of the dikes. Zircon cathodoluminescence (CL) images show well-developed magmatic oscillatory zones and the acquired LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 114±2 Ma (MSDW=1.5) for monzonite porphyry (GS1) and 116±1 Ma (MSDW=0.8) for diorite porphyry (GS2), respectively. Earlier magmatic events in the northwest Jiaodong Peninsula represented by some inherited or captured zircons also occur in these dikes. Magmatic zircons from GS1 and GS2 display consistent chondrite-normalized REE patterns and Nb/Ta values, implying that they may share a similar or same source. HREE enrichment and obvious negative Eu anomalies of these zircons preclude garnet presented in their source. Our results, combined with preciously pub- lished data, indicate that dike intrusion and gold mineralization among quartz vein, altered tectonite and altered breccia gold deposits are broadly contemporaneous throughout the Jiaodong Peninsula. 2Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. 3Synthesis,characterization and magnetic properties of near monodisperse Fe_3O_4 sub-microspheres显示文摘Near monodisperse Fe3O4 sub-microspheres with an average diameter of 170 nm have been synthesized by a solvothermal reduction method, using K3[Fe(CN)6] as the raw material in the absence of any surfactants at 200℃ for 24 h. The products were detected by XRD, FESEM, TEM, and XPS. The investigation of the reaction parameters indicates that ethylene glycol plays a key role both as reducing agent and solvent. In addition, the reaction time and temperature also have important influences on the final product. 4Ufadendron elongatum sp. nov., an Angaran Lycopsid from the Upper Permian of Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘A new species Ufadendron elongatum sp.nov.,attributed to the family Tomiodendraceae Naugolnykh,is represented by two well-preserved stems in the collection under study.This new species was recently discovered from the Upper Permian Linxi Formation in the Jalaid locality,the Inner Mongolia Autonomous region,China.The genus Ufadendron is characterized as having the long fusiform leaf cushions,with small and rounded leaf scar containing a central point-like scar which is situated at the upper part of leaf cushion;the infrafoliar bladder of fusiform shape positioned in the middle part of leaf cushion;the wings and heel well-developed in the lateral parts and the lower part of leaf cushion,respectively.The new species is different from the type species U.ufaense(Naugolnykh 2014)collected from the Lower Permian of the Cis-Urals,western limits of Angaraland,in the elongated leaf cushion and in the well-pronounced heel.It should be noted,that a vascular bundle(conductive strand)occupied the middle part of the central point-like scar.So far,only 5 genera of Angaran elements among lycopsids have been discovered in the region geographically belonging to Angaran Realm(Phytogeoprovince)in China.The new species U.elongatum not only enlarges our knowledge on the taxonomy of Tomiodendraceae lycopsids,and also provides an opportunity to understand the difference between Angaran and Cathaysian floras in paleoclimatic context.Zhen Tang Yi Zhang Serge VNaugolnykh Changqing Zheng Lu Shi Tao Qin Junhao Huang 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,1:2
5Early changes to the extracellular space in the hippocampus under simulated microgravity conditions显示文摘The smooth transportation of substances through the brain extracellular space(ECS)is crucial to maintaining brain function;however,the way this occurs under simulated microgravity remains unclear.In this study,tracer-based magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and DECS-mapping techniques were used to image the drainage of brain interstitial fluid(ISF)from the ECS of the hippocampus in a tail-suspended hindlimb-unloading rat model at day 3(HU-3)and 7(HU-7).The results indicated that drainage of the ISF was accelerated in the HU-3 group but slowed markedly in the HU-7 group.The tortuosity of the ECS decreased in the HU-3 group but increased in the HU-7 group,while the volume fraction of the ECS increased in both groups.The diffusion rate within the ECS increased in the HU-3 group and decreased in the HU-7 group.The alterations to ISF drainage and diffusion in the ECS were recoverable in the HU-3 group,but neither parameter was restored in the HU-7 group.Our findings suggest that early changes to the hippocampal ECS and ISF drainage under simulated microgravity can be detected by tracer-based MRI,providing a new perspective for studying microgravity-induced nano-scale structure abnormities and developing neuroprotective approaches involving the brain ECS.Yajuan Gao Hongbin Han Jichen Du Qingyuan He Yanxing Jia Junhao Yan Hui Dai Bin Cui Jing Yang Xunbin Wei Liu Yang Rui Wang Ren Long Qiushi Ren Xing Yang Jiabin Lu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:2
6The influence of the underpassing frozen connecting passage on the deformation of the existing tunnel显示文摘Based on the engineering background of the contact channel between Shangyang and Gushan of Fuzhou Metro Line 2 undercrossing the existing tunnel line,the freezing temperature field of the contact channel,the displacement field of the existing tunnel line and the contact channel with different net distances and horizontal angles are analyzed by ANSYS finite element software and field measurement method.The obtained results indicate that during the freezing period,the temperature drops at different measuring holes are almost the same.The temperature near the bottom freezing tube drops faster than that far from the tube.It is found that the bilateral freezing technique improves the formation of the freezing wall in the intersection area.In this case,the intersection time of the cross-section is 7 days faster than that of the adjacent ordinary section.The change curve of the displacement of the surface uplift in different freezing periods with the distance from the center of the channel is“M”shaped.The maximum uplift displacement at 12 m from channel center is 25 mm.The vertical displacement of the measuring point located above the central axis of the connecting channel is large.The farther the point from the central axis,the smaller the corresponding vertical displacement.When the horizontal angle between the existing tunnel and the connecting channel is less than 60,the existing vertical displacement of the tunnel changes rapidly with the horizontal angle,reaching 0.17 mm/.Meanwhile,when the net distance is less than 6.1 m,the change rate of the vertical displacement of the tunnel is up to 2.4 mm/m.JunHao Chen Jian Zhang BiJian Chen Gen Lu 2022Research in Cold and Arid Regions2022,14,4:1
7Intramolecular hydrogen bonds in a single macromolecule:Strength in high vacuum versus liquid environments显示文摘As a weak non-covalent interaction,hydrogen bond(H-bond)is highly susceptible to the environmental interference.However,the direct quantification of a single H-bond under an interference-free condition is still a challenge.Herein,the intramolecular H-bond in a model system,poly(N-isopropylacrylamide),is studied in high vacuum by single-molecule atomic force microscopy and steered molecular dynamics simulations,which allows the precise quantification of H-bond strength in an interference-free state.Control experiments show that the H-bond is significantly weakened in nonpolar solvent,even if the dielectric constant is very close to vacuum.If a polar solvent is used as the environment,the H-bond will be further weaker or even broken.These results imply that for experiments in any liquid environment,the H-bond strength(△G)will be only -50% or even less of that measured in vacuum.Further analysis shows that in liquid environments,AG decays in a quasi-linear way with the increase of the dielectric constant(ε).For H-bond studies in future,the result measured in vacuum can be set as the standard value,namely,the inherent strength.This approach will provide fundamental insights into the H-bond participated nano-structures and materials in different environments.Wanhao Cai Duo Xu Fa Zhang Junhao Wei Song Lu Linmao Qian Zhongyuan Lu Shuxun Cui 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:0
8Production of aromatic hydrocarbons by co-cracking of bio-oil and ethanol over Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 catalysts显示文摘The catalytic cracking of bio-oil is important to produce aromatic hydrocarbons,which can partially replace gasoline or diesel to greatly reduce carbon emissions from transportation.To further promote the formation of aromatic hydrocarbons,this work studied the effects of the preparation method and the acid strength of Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 on catalytic cracking of the bio-oil distilled fraction systematically.The preparation method of Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 had an important effect on its catalytic activity:the Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 prepared by physical mixing showed the low dispersion of active phases and poor pore structure,resulting in its insufficient activity and severe coke deposition;the Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 prepared by precipitation exhibited the higher activity,while many polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons unfavorable for the subsequent utilization were in the oil phase;the Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 prepared by impregnation showed the highest activity and 35.5%(mass)selectivity of the oil phase,including 80.3%monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 12.0%polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.The Brønsted acidity of Ga_(2)O_(3)/HZSM-5 decreased with Si/Al ratio,leading to the decline in reactant conversion,oil phase selectivity and quality.Meanwhile,the polymerization between monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and oxygenates was promoted to produce many polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and even coke,causing catalyst deactivation.Xing Zhang Jingfeng Wu Junhao Chen Liang Lu Lingjun Zhu Shurong Wang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,6:0
9Understanding the Conformational Interconversions of a Polymer Chain in a Liquid Environment at the Single-molecule Level显示文摘The conformational interconversions of polymer chains have been of great interest as a basic scientific issue.Single-molecule force spectroscopy(SMFS)is a powerful tool for molecular manipulation,which enables experimental studies on the single-chain behaviors of polymers.The SMFS results show that an individual polymer chain in a liquid environment may have similar properties to an ideal chain,which contradicts the traditional theoretical view.Herein,by taking into account the collisions of solvent molecules,the conformational interconversions of a single polymer chain in a liquid environment have been analyzed.The conformational interconversion frequency of a carbon-carbon bond of an alkane chain can be estimated by establishing the relationship between the internal rotation barriers of small molecules(monomers)and the corresponding macromolecules.Since the time scale of conformational interconversions of the polymer backbone is much shorter than that of SMFS experiments,most polymers with C-C backbones behave as ideal chains in liquid environments.SHAO Yue WEI Junhao BAO Yu CAI Wanhao QIAN Lu CUI Shuxun 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,5:0
10Energy-Efficient Optimal Guaranteed Cost Intermittent-Switch Control of a Direct Expansion Air Conditioning System显示文摘To improve the energy efficiency of a direct expansion air conditioning(DX A/C) system while guaranteeing occupancy comfort, a hierarchical controller for a DX A/C system with uncertain parameters is proposed. The control strategy consists of an open loop optimization controller and a closed-loop guaranteed cost periodically intermittent-switch controller(GCPISC). The error dynamics system of the closed-loop control is modelled based on the GCPISC principle. The difference,compared to the previous DX A/C system control methods, is that the controller designed in this paper performs control at discrete times. For the ease of designing the controller, a series of matrix inequalities are derived to be the sufficient conditions of the lower-layer closed-loop GCPISC controller. In this way, the DX A/C system output is derived to follow the optimal references obtained through the upper-layer open loop controller in exponential time, and the energy efficiency of the system is improved. Moreover, a static optimization problem is addressed for obtaining an optimal GCPISC law to ensure a minimum upper bound on the DX A/C system performance considering energy efficiency and output tracking error. 11Genetic Diversity and Genetic Structure of Maize Inbred Lines from Yunnan Revealed by SNP Chips显示文摘[Objectives]The genetic diversity and population genetic structure of 107 inbred lines of maize in Yunnan were analyzed,in order to provide technical support for maize germplasm innovation,genetic improvement of germplasm resources,variety management,and lay a solid foundation for exploring genes related to fine traits in the future.[Methods]The 107 maize inbred lines generalized in Yunnan were selected,and 45 backbone inbred lines commonly used in China were used as reference for heterotic group classification.On Axiom Maize 56K SNP Array platform,maize SNP chips(56K)were used to scan the whole maize genome,and the NJ-tree model of Treebest was used to construct a phylogenetic tree.Principal component analysis(PCA)was conducted by GCTA(genome-wide complex trait analysis)to reveal the genetic diversity and population genetic structure.[Results]In the 107 Yunnan local inbred lines,5533 uniformly distributed high-quality SNP marker sites were finally detected.Based on the analysis of these SNP marker sites,Nei s gene diversity index(H)of 107 maize germplasm genes was 0.2981-0.5000 with an average value being 0.4832,and polymorphism information content(PIC)values were 0.2536-0.3750 with an average value being 0.3662.The minimum allele frequency value was 0.5000-0.8178 with an average value being 0.5744.The analysis of population genetic structure showed that when K=6,the maximum value of△K was the maximum,which meant that the inbred lines used in this study could be divided into six groups.They were Tangsi Pingtou blood relationship group,PB blood relationship group,335 female blood relationship group,Zi 330 and the Lüda Honggu blood relationship group,unknown group 1 and unknown group 2.No inbred lines were divided into other heterotic groups.Among them,37 inbred lines from the 2 unknown groups could not be classified into the same group as the 10 known heterotic groups in China.The results of principal component analysis showed that the 107 maize inbred lines generalized in Yunnan could be clearly distinguished from the backbone maize inbred lines commonly used in China.Most of the maize inbred lines in Yunnan were concentrated near the reference backbone inbred lines.But some Yunnan inbred lines were far away from the reference inbred lines commonly used in China.[Conclusions]The maize germplasm resources in Yunnan area were rich in genetic diversity,including multiple heterotic groups,and there was a rich genetic basis of breeding parents.They could be clearly distinguished from the backbone inbred lines commonly used in China,and some of them had a long genetic distance from the backbone inbred lines.The resources which have good application potential can be used to create new heterotic groups.Junjiao GUAN Peng ZHANG Sheping LI Junhao LU Qingmei HUANG Xiaohong YANG Jianhua ZHANG Zhuke KANG 2021Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,2:0
12Development of organelle single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers and their application for the identification of cytoplasmic inheritance patterns in Pyropia yezoensis (Bangiales,Rhodophyta)显示文摘The genus Pyropia contains several important cultivated species.Genetic research in nori species has mainly focused on the cell nucleus,with few studies on organelles(chloroplast and mitochondria).Due to the high copy numbers of organelles in cells,which influence the development and traits of algae,it is necessary to study their genetic mechanism.In this study,the marine red alga Pyropia yezoensis,an important economic macroalga,was selected as the study object.To investigate organelle(chloroplast and mitochondria)inheritance in P.yezoensis,the wild type RZ(maternal strain)was crossed with the red mutant HT(paternal strain)and 30 color-sectors from 11 F1 gametophytic blades were examined.The complete chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes of the red mutant(HT)were assembled for the first time.One reliable and stable single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)loci filtrated by bioinformatics analysis was used as a molecular marker for chloroplast and mitochondrial DNA,respectively,in subsequent experiments.PCR amplification and sequence analysis showed that the haplotypes of color-sectors detected were consistent with those of the maternal parent,confirming that both chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes were inherited maternally in P.yezoensis.The inheritance pattern of organelles in P.yezoensis can be used to guide the hybridization and breeding of nori.Additionally,the organelle SNP markers developed in this study can be applied in subsequent genetic research.Lu WANG Junhao WANG Yunke ZHU Zhengcai CUI Fanna KONG Xianghai TANG Yunxiang MAO 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:0

14Peanut drying:Effects of various drying methods on drying kinetic models,physicochemical properties,germination characteristics,and microstructure显示文摘The current work aims to explore the suitable drying technique for peanut pods which can be used for seeds or edible peanuts.Four drying methods,namely naturally-open sun drying as the control check(CK),hot air drying(HAD),pulsed vacuum drying(PVD),and radio frequency combined hot air drying(RF-HAD),were employed to dry peanut pods,and their effects on the nutritional quality attributes in terms of protein,fat,fatty acid contents,etc.,germination characteristics,microstructure,color,texture,acid value and peroxide value of peanuts were explored.Mathematical models of peanuts drying with four drying methods were also established.According to the statistical parameters including the determination coefficient(R^(2))、root mean square error(RMSE)and chi-square value(v^(2)),theWeibull model was best for predicting the moisture ratio change kinetics of peanuts during its four drying processes.There were significant differences in physicochemical indexes of peanut by different drying methods(p<0.05).Fat and oleic acid contents under RF-HAD were significantly higher than those by the other three drying methods.Compared with the naturally-open sun drying,RF-HAD reduced drying time by 76.70%and the microstructure of RF-HAD peanuts produced larger and more cavities.The RF-HAD kept better comprehensive nutritional quality,but the germination rate was reduced by 27.80%.PVD could maintain good nutritional quality and germination rate among these mechanical drying technologies.However,PVD had a longer drying time of 9.5 h than RF-HAD and HAD,and the microstructure of pulsed vacuum dried peanuts showed dense structure and less cavity.Hot air-dried peanut kernel held the highest protein(28.75%),fatty acids contents(26.11%)and germination rate(88.00%).However,peanut kernel dried by HAD showed poor qualities,such as high acid value,peroxide value and large color changes.These findings indicated RF-HAD was a promising drying technique for edible peanuts regarding the higher drying rate and better-quality preservation,while HAD was suitable for peanut seeds drying as it could well protect the germination rate.Yongkang Xie Yawen Lin Xingyi Li Hui Yang Junhao Han Chaojie Shang Aiqing Li Hongwei Xiao Fengyin Lu 2023Information Processing in Agriculture2023,10,4:0
15A CO_(2)-controllable phase change absorbent solvent used to waste recycling of dining lampblack显示文摘Dining lampblack as a source of atmospheric pollution,urban residents had to spend a lot of economic costs all year round to solve its impact.However,traditional treatment methods often carry the risk of secondary pollution.The use of phase change absorption solvent(PCAS)controlled by CO_(2)can effectively absorb the oily components in dining lampblack,and smoothly avoid the generation of secondary pollutants and squandering of resources.The reversibility of PCASs under CO_(2)control was explained by pH changes and macroscopic visualizations.The absorption effects of favorable absorbents and PCASs on dining lampblack were compared and analyzed.The fatty acid(FA)in the oil absorption mixture was desorbed by interacting with D230.The results of GC/MS analysis on the oil components separated by desorption showed that the desorption of PCASs was effective for these refractory oil components.FAs can be enriched and applied to the subsequent dining lampblack treatment link to realize the waste recycling.In addition,the absorption and desorption of oily components by PCASs were combined with the CO_(2)-controlled phase transformation of PCASs itself to achieve the absorption circulation of treating dining lampblack by using PCASs.Wenjian Yue Xiaojiang Li Junhao Jing Li Tong Na Wang Hongsheng Lu Zhiyu Huang 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,61,9:0
16Production traits and fertility of reciprocal hybrids between Argopecten irradians irradians and A.i.concentricus显示文摘The two bay scallop subspecies,Argopecten irradians irradians(NN)and A.i.concentricus(SS),are fast growing and major cultured bivalves in China.However,their relatively small sizes and decreasing production traits caused by long-term inbreeding have been major concerns to the industry in the last two decades.Hybridization between the two bay scallop subspecies may provide a new approach to breed a new variety with superior production traits for the industry.For this end,in this study,we hybridized the two bay scallop subspecies in order to obtain a new strain that incorporates the genes of both subspecies.No significant difference was found in fertilization rate,hatching rate and metamorphosis rate between the purebred and crossbred cohorts(NN♀×SS♂,denoted as NS;SS♀×NN♂,denoted as SN).Both mating strategy(intra-vs.inter-population crosses)and egg origin had significant effects on growth and survival at the larval stage.Heterosis was observed in the crossbred and was more pronounced in older stages.Genetic diversity of the reciprocal hybrids,especially that of SN,was increased compared with the purebred cohorts.Almost all hybrids were completely fertile and able to reproduce by selffertilization or by backcrossing with either parent.Apparently,male sterile individuals whose gonads were fully occupied by the ovary part at mature stage were found in the hybrids for the first time.The hybrids,especially SN,may provide precious germplasm resources for the production of ternary hybrids with the Peruvian scallop,A.purpuratus.Jinjing WANG Junhao NING Xia LU Min CHEN Guilong LIU Xin XU Quanchao WANG He XU Chunde WANG 2024Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,1:0
17Construction of high-density genetic linkage map of Pyropia yezoensis(Bangiales,Rhodophyta)and identifi cation of red color trait QTLs in the thalli显示文摘Pyropia yezoensis is an important macroalga because of its extensive global distribution and economic importance.Color is an important trait in the thalli of P.yezoensis,it is also an effective marker to identify the hybridization in genetic breeding.In this study,a high-density genetic linkage map was constructed based on high-throughput single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers,and used for analyzing the quantitative trait loci(QTLs)of red color trait in the thalli of P.yezoensis.The conchospore undergoes meiosis to develop into an ordered tetrad,and each cell has a haploid phenotype and can grow into a single individual.Based on this theory,F1 haploid population was used as the mapping population.The map included 531 SNP markers,394.57 cM long on average distance of 0.74 cM.Collinear analysis of the genetic linkage map and the physical map indicated that the coverage between the two maps was 79.42%.Furthermore,QTL mapping identified six QTLs for the chromosomal regions associated with the red color trait of the thalli.The value of phenotypic variance explained(PVE)by an individual QTL ranged from 4.71%-63.11%.And QTL qRed-1-1,with a PVE of 63.11%,was considered the major QTL.Thus,these data may provide a platform for gene and QTL fine mapping,and marker-assisted breeding in P.yezoensis in the future.Lu WANG Kuipeng XU Xianghai TANG Junhao WANG Fanna KONG Yunxiang MAO 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,3:0
18Characterization of Wnt genes in Argopecten scallops and their involvement in response to different temperature stresses in“Bohai Red”scallops显示文摘As“Bohai Red”scallops were originated from the hybrids between the Peruvian scallop(Argopecten purpuratus)and the bay scallop(Argopecten irradians)northern subspecies(Argopecten irradians irradians).Twelve Wnt members were identified from the two subspecies of bay scallop,and 13 Wnt genes were found in the genome of the Peruvian scallop.Protein structure analyses showed that most Wnt genes poses all 5 conserved motifs except Wnt1,Wnt2,Wnt6,and Wnt9 in the bay scallops and Wnt2 and Wnt9 in the Peruvian scallop.Unexpectedly,Wnt8 gene was present while Wnt3 was absent in both the bay scallops and the Peruvian scallop.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that Wnt3 might have disappeared in the early evolution of mollusks.The expression profile of Wnt genes in the“Bohai Red”exposed to different temperatures was examined by qRT-PCR.Results show that expression of Wnt genes responded differentially to temperature changes.The Wnt genes such as Wnt1,Wnt6,Wnt7,Wnt11,and WntA that responded slowly to low and high temperature stresses may be related to the maintenance of basic homeostasis.Other Wnt genes such as Wnt4,Wnt9,Wnt5,and Wnt2 that responded rapidly to low temperature may play an important role in organismal protection against low temperature stress.And yet some Wnt genes including Wnt10,Wnt16,and Wnt8 that responded quickly to high temperature stress may play key roles in response to high temperature stress.The results provide new insights into the evolution and function of Wnt genes in bivalves and eventually benefit culture of“Bohai Red”scallops.Caihui WANG Shuhua LEI Min CHEN Junhao NING Xia LU Jinsheng ZHANG Bo LIU Chunde WANG 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,3:0

20Effects of acute and chronic thermal stress on survival,apoptosis,and transcriptional responses of Scapharca broughtonii显示文摘Ocean warming is altering the habitats of marine invertebrates,which has resulted in an increased physiological stress to marine molluscs,especially those intertidal bivalves,such as the ark shell Scapharca broughtonii.We investigated the physiological and transcriptional responses of ark shells to acute and chronic thermal stress results showed that at 33℃,a significantly higher cumulative mortality(55.7%)occurred under acute thermal stress than chronic thermal stress.The apoptosis rate of hemocytes was sustained at higher levels and the necrosis rate was increased significantly in a time-dependent manner under acute thermal stress.However,under chronic thermal stress,the apoptosis and necrosis rates exhibited similar change trends:a rapid increase followed by a gradual decline and sustained at a relatively high level until the end of the experiment.The expressions of heat shock protein genes(HSP20 and HSP90),apoptosis-related genes(TRAF6,GRP78,NIX,and Casp-3),antioxidative-related genes(GST and MRP)and cellular detoxification-related genes(HbⅡB,NOS-1,HO-1,and ENO-1)were upregulated significantly under both acute and chronic thermal stresses.These results demonstrated that the anti-apoptotic system,antioxidant defense system,cellular detoxification system,and heat shock proteins(HSPs)played vital roles for ark shells in response to thermal stress.As acute thermal stress can result in irreversible damage to marine molluscs,it is thus advised that chronic thermal stress should be used to select thermal-resistant ark shell strains.Desheng ZOU Weian CAO Guilong LIU Junhao NING Xia LU Jinjing WANG Min CHEN Bo LIU Jinsheng ZHANG Chunde WANG 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,6:0
