| 1 | LncRNA Nron regulates osteoclastogenesis during orthodontic bone resorption显示文摘Activation of osteoclasts during orthodontic tooth treatment is a prerequisite for alveolar bone resorption and tooth movement.However,the key regulatory molecules involved in osteoclastogenesis during this process remain unclear.Long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs)are a newly identified class of functional RNAs that regulate cellular processes,such as gene expression and translation regulation.Recently,lnc RNAs have been reported to be involved in osteogenesis and bone formation.However,as the most abundant noncoding RNAs in vivo,the potential regulatory role of lnc RNAs in osteoclast formation and bone resorption urgently needs to be clarified.We recently found that the lnc RNA Nron(long noncoding RNA repressor of the nuclear factor of activated T cells)is highly expressed in osteoclast precursors.Nron is downregulated during osteoclastogenesis and bone ageing.To further determine whether Nron regulates osteoclast activity during orthodontic treatment,osteoclastic Nron transgenic(Nron c TG)and osteoclastic knockout(Nron CKO)mouse models were generated.When Nron was overexpressed,the orthodontic tooth movement rate was reduced.In addition,the number of osteoclasts decreased,and the activity of osteoclasts was inhibited.Mechanistically,Nron controlled the maturation of osteoclasts by regulating NFATc1 nuclear translocation.In contrast,by deleting Nron specifically in osteoclasts,tooth movement speed increased in Nron CKO mice.These results indicate that lnc RNAs could be potential targets to regulate osteoclastogenesis and orthodontic tooth movement speed in the clinic in the future. | Ruilin Zhang Junhui Li Gongchen Li Fujun Jin Zuolin Wang Rui Yue Yibin Wang Xiaogang Wang Yao Sun | 2020 | International Journal of Oral Science2020,12,2: | 9 |
| 2 | Analysis of the efficacy of transcatheter arterial infusion chemotherapy in the treatment of pancreatic carcinoma显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of infusion of gemcitabine(GEM) and fluorouracil(5-FU)through the celiac artery and superior mesenteric artery in the treatment of pancreatic carcinoma(PC).Methods:We analyzed 20 patients diagnosed clinically or pathologically with PC,without metastases,who had an estimated survival duration of>3 months in our department from May 2009 to December 2014.Nine patients were treated directly without surgical resection of the tumor,while the other 11 patients were treated after surgery.In all patients,the femoral artery was punctured using the Seldinger technique,and a catheter was placed in the opening of the celiac artery or the superior mesenteric artery.We administered 500 mg/m2 GEM and 500 mg/m2 5-FU.Observational data included data on clinical efficacy and survival rates during the follow-up period of 3-72 months.Results:Twenty patients were treated 85 times with transcatheter arterial infusion chemotherapy(TAI).The survival rates were 80%,40%,35%,20%,10%,and 5% at 3,6,12,24,and 72 months,respectively.Conclusion: TAI chemotherapy with GEM and 5-FU may be a therapeutic option for the treatment of PC. | Chunhui Nie Yuelin Zhang Guanhui Zhou Tanyang Zhou Tongyin Zhu Baoquan Wang Shengqun Chen Hongliang Wang Ziniu Yu Li Jing Junhui Sun | 2021 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,1: | 4 |

| 9 | Junction plakoglobin regulates and destabilizes HIF2α to inhibit tumorigenesis of renal cell carcinoma显示文摘Background:Increased hypoxia-inducible factor 2α(HIF2α)activation is a common event in clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC)progression.However,the function and underlying mechanism of HIF2α in ccRCC remains uninvestigated.We conducted this study to access the potential link between junction plakoglobin(JUP)and HIF2αin ccRCC.Methods:Affinity purification and mass spectrometry(AP-MS)screening,glutathione-s-transferase(GST)pull-down and co-immunoprecipitation(Co-IP)assays were performed to detect the interacting proteins of HIF2α.Quantitative PCR(qPCR)and Western blotting were used to detect the expression of JUP in human ccRCC samples.Luciferase reporter assays,chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP),cycloheximide chase assays,and ubiquitination assays were conducted to explore the regulation of JUP on the activity of HIF2α.Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assays,colony formation assays,transwell assays,and xenograft tumor assays were performed to investigate the effect of JUP knockdown or overexpression on the tumorigenicity of renal cancer cells.Results:We identified JUP as a novel HIF2α-binding partner and revealed an important role of JUP in recruiting von Hippel-Lindau(VHL)and histone deacetylases 1/2(HDAC1/2)to HIF2α to regulate its stability and transactivation.JUP knockdown promoted and overexpression suppressed the tumorigenicity of renal cell carcinoma in vitro and in vivo.Importantly,the low expression of JUP was found in clinical ccRCC samples and correlated with enhanced hypoxia scores and poor treatment outcomes.Conclusion:Taken together,these data support a role of JUP in modulating HIF2α signaling during ccRCC progression and identify JUP as a potential therapeutic target. | Ke Chen Jin Zeng Yi Sun Wei Ouyang Gan Yu Hui Zhou Yangjun Zhang Weimin Yao Wei Xiao Junhui Hu Jinchun Xing Kefeng Xiao Lily Wu Zhiqiang Chen Zhangqun Ye Hua Xu | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,4: | 1 |

| 17 | Biochar pyrolyzed at low temperature enhanced acidophilous plant growth by promoting rhizospheric microbes in a slightly alkaline urban soil显示文摘Biochar has been considered as a potential way to enhance acidophilous plant growth in alkaline soils.However,whether such enhancements are closely linked with biochar pyrolysis temperature and its improvements in rhizospheric soil fertility and microbial activities remains largely unknown.We performed a pot experiment to investigate changes in azalea(Rhodo-dendron)morphology and physiology,as well as its rhizosphere soil chemical and biological properties in a slightly alkaline urban soil under the amendment of biochars that pyrolyzed at three temperatures(i.e.,350,550 and 700°C).Our results showed that the effects of biochars on plant growth and soil properties depended on pyrolysis temperature.In comparison with the non-amended control,350 and 550°C biochars showed significant promotions on the azalea growth in terms of photosynthetic characteristics,biomass,root morphology,and N and P uptake.Whereas,700°C biochar showed an inhibi-tion effect on them.350°C biochar decreased soil pH and increased soil available P and K contents and the activities ofα-glucosidase,N-β-glucosaminidase,phosphatase and sulfatase.In addition,350°C biochar significantly enhanced bacterial 16S rRNA and fungal 18S rRNA gene abundances in the rhizosphere soil of azalea and mycorrhizal infection.Correlation analysis indicated that soil pH,available nutrients and fungal abundance had positive associations with the enhanced plant growth parameters.Therefore,our findings suggest that biochar produced at low temperature could be a feasible strategy for enhancing acidophilous azalea growth and improving urban soil quality. | Huimin Zhou Xiaoying Li Chang Li Lisi He Xiaoqing Liu Zheng Xiao Xiaobo Sun Gaoling Shi Jiale Su Junhui Chen | 2021 | Biochar2021,3,4: | 1 |

| 19 | Running-in behavior of a H‒DLC/Al_(2)O_(3) pair at the nanoscale显示文摘Diamond-like carbon(DLC)film has been developed as an extremely effective lubricant to reduce energy dissipation;however,most films should undergo running-in to achieve a super-low friction state.In this study,the running-in behaviors of an H–DLC/Al_(2)O_(3) pair were investigated through a controllable single-asperity contact study using an atomic force microscope.This study presents direct evidence that illustrates the role of transfer layer formation and oxide layer removal in the friction reduction during running-in.After 200 sliding cycles,a thin transfer layer was formed on the Al2O3 tip.Compared with a clean tip,this modified tip showed a significantly lower adhesion force and friction force on the original H–DLC film,which confirmed the contribution of the transfer layer formation in the friction reduction during running-in.It was also found that the friction coefficient of the H–DLC/Al_(2)O_(3) pair decreased linearly as the oxygen concentration of the H–DLC substrate surface decreased.This phenomenon can be explained by a change in the contact surface from an oxygen termination with strong hydrogen bond interactions to a hydrogen termination with weak van der Waals interactions.These results provide new insights that quantitatively reveal the running-in mechanism at the nanoscale,which may help with the design optimization of DLC films for different environmental applications. | Pengfei SHI Junhui SUN Yunhai LIU Bin ZHANG Junyan ZHANG Lei CHEN Linmao QIAN | 2021 | Friction2021,9,6: | 0 |
