1Tests and error analysis of a self-positioning shearer operating at a manless working face显示文摘Self-positioning of a shearer is the key technology for mining with a man-less working face. In an underground coal mine all radio navigation; satellite positioning or celestial navigation methods have their limitations. We analyzed an inertial navi-gation system intended to guide the movement a shearer and designed a self-positioning device for the shearer. Simulation tests were also performed on the system. We analyzed the errors observed in these tests to show that the main reason for the low preci-sion of the self-positioning system is accumulated error in the inertial sensor. A Kalman filtering algorithm used in combination with the shearer motion model effectively reduces the measurement errors of the self-positioning system by compensating for gyroscopic drift. 2Quasi-solid-state nanocrystalline TiO2 solar cells using gel network polymer electrolytes based on polysiloxanes显示文摘A quasi-solid-state dye-sensitized nanocrystal-line porous TiO2 film solar cell was fabricated using a novel gel network polymer electrolyte based on polysiloxanes with both polyethylene oxide internal plasticized side chains and quaternary ammonium groups. The cell exhibited better photoelectrical conversion performance under 60 mW/cm2 irradiation. 3Preliminary analysis on the source properties and seismogenic structure of the 2017 M_s7.0 Jiuzhaigou earthquake显示文摘At GMT time 13:19, August 8, 2017, an Ms7.0 earthquake struck the Jiuzhaigou region in Sichuan Province, China,causing severe damages and casualties. To investigate the source properties, seismogenic structures, and seismic hazards, we systematically analyzed the tectonic environment, crustal velocity structure in the source region, source parameters and rupture process, Coulomb failure stress changes, and 3-D features of the rupture plane of the Jiuzhaigou earthquake. Our results indicate the following:(1) The Jiuzhaigou earthquake occurred on an unmarked fault belonging to the transition zone of the east Kunlun fault system and is located northwest of the Huya fault.(2) Both the mainshock and aftershock rupture zones are located in a region where crustal seismic velocity changes dramatically. Southeast to the source region, shear wave velocity at the middle to lower crust is significantly low, but it rapidly increases northeastward and lies close to the background velocity across the rupture fault.(3) The aftershock zone is narrow and distributes along the northwest-southeast trend, and most aftershocks occur within a depth range of 5–20 km.(4) The focal mechanism of the Jiuzhaigou earthquake indicates a left-lateral strike-slip fault, with strike, dip, and rake angles of 152°, 74° and 8°, respectively. The hypocenter depth measures 20 km, whereas the centroid depth is about 6 km. The co-seismic rupture mainly concentrates at depths of 3–13 km, with a moment magnitude(M_w) of 6.5.(5) The co-seismic rupture also strengthens the Coulomb failure stress at the two ends of the rupture fault and the east segment of the Tazang fault. Aftershocks relocation results together with geological surveys indicate that the causative fault is a near vertical fault with notable spatial variations: dip angle varies within 66°–89° from northwest to southeast and the average dip angle measures ~84°. 5Whole-genome sequencing provides insights into the genetic diversity and domestication of bitter gourd(Momordica spp.)显示文摘Bitter gourd(Momordica charantia)is a popular cultivated vegetable in Asian and African countries.To reveal the characteristics of the genomic structure,evolutionary trajectory,and genetic basis underlying the domestication of bitter gourd,we performed whole-genome sequencing of the cultivar Dali-11 and the wild small-fruited line TR and resequencing of 187 bitter gourd germplasms from 16 countries.The major gene clusters(Bi clusters)for the biosynthesis of cucurbitane triterpenoids,which confer a bitter taste,are highly conserved in cucumber,melon,and watermelon.Comparative analysis among cucurbit genomes revealed that the Bi cluster involved in cucurbitane triterpenoid biosynthesis is absent in bitter gourd.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the TR group,including 21 bitter gourd germplasms,may belong to a new species or subspecies independent from M.charantia.Furthermore,we found that the remaining 166 M.charantia germplasms are geographically differentiated,and we identified 710,412,and 290 candidate domestication genes in the South Asia,Southeast Asia,and China populations,respectively.This study provides new insights into bitter gourd genetic diversity and domestication and will facilitate the future genomics-enabled improvement of bitter gourd.Junjie Cui Yan Yang Shaobo Luo Le Wang Rukui Huang Qingfang Wen Xiaoxia Han Nansheng Miao Jiaowen Cheng Ziji Liu Changyuan Zhang Chengcheng Feng Haisheng Zhu Jianwen Su Xinjian Wan Fang Hu Yu Niu Xiaoming Zheng Yulan Yang Dai Shan Zhensheng Dong Weiming He Narinder P.S.Dhillon Kailin Hu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:7
6Ecological indicators showing the succession of macrofauna communities in Sonneratia apetala artificial mangrove wetlands on Qi'ao Island at Zhuhai, South China显示文摘The Sonneratia apetala artificial mangroves in the intertidal zone of Da Wei Bay at Qi'ao Island of Zhuhai, South China were chosen as the macrofauna succession plots while bare tidal flats of the same size were established as control plots in surrounding interference-free areas. Conventional change indicators of community structure, such as biomass and biodiversity, and indicators, such as exergy and specific exergy, which reflect the information change of overall communities, were used to analyze the succession of macrofauna communities in S. apetala artificial mangroves. The similarities and differences in variation tendency of the different ecological indicators and their reflected ecological principles were compared. The results showed that from D-1 to D-1275 after planting S. apetala, the biomass of the macrofauna communities first increased, which was then followed by an increase in the network relationship between the macrofauna communities(analysis of the Pielou evenness index and Shannon-Wiener diversity index). The system information(specific exergy) increased the slowest. Between D-1460 and D-2370 after planting S. apetala, there was a decrease in biomass, network structure, and system information in the succession plots. After the decrease in the system information(the specific exergy), there was a decline in the network relationships(Pielou evenness index and Shannon-Wiener diversity index). Biomass was the last indicator to decrease. The similarities and differences among the different ecological indicators varied during the succession process, which reflected the relativity and differences among the indicators. This study suggested that, although the species diversity index can be an effective indicator of two types of changes(network structure and system information), it was quite clear that species diversity measurement was not suitable for expressing the changes in biomass during the succession process. While exergy and specific exergy can provide useful information about the structural development of communities, they cannot identify the information state of the system. 9A memristor-based architecture combining memory and image processing显示文摘Image processing is a type of memory-access-intensive application and is applied in many fields.Logic operations are very simple ones in image processing.During these operations,memory access takes a majority of the total time consumed,which puts a great pressure on memory access speed and bandwidth.However,in traditional von Neumann architecture,memory access is the inherent bottleneck of the system;that is,the speed of memory’s data supply is far lower than the data request of processor.Memristor is considered to be the fourth circuit element after resistor,capacitor and inductor.It has the capacity of both processing and memory,which supplies a new idea for solving the'memory wall'problem.In this paper,memristor is used to build an architecture combining computing and memory,where the memory has the ability to handle some simple image processing operations.This architecture can reduce readings and writings of memory effectively,which saves memory bandwidth thus improving the efficiency of the system.Logic operations of images are considered in this paper to validate the architecture.The experimental results and theoretical analysis indicate that the architecture can reduce memory access effectively.ZHOU Jing YANG XueJun WU JunJie ZHU Xuan FANG XuDong HUANG Da 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,5:3

11Comparative study on the weight loss and lipid metabolism by tea polyphenols in diet induced obese C57BL/6J pseudo germ free and conventionalized mice显示文摘The role of gut microbiota in terms of host health is becoming increasingly important.In this study,the comparative effects of tea polyphenols(TPs)on weight loss and lipid metabolism on conventionalized mice(CVZ)and pseudo germ-free(PGF)mice(treated with antibiotics)were investigated.Our findings revealed that high fat(HF)diet considerably increased the body weight,total fat and upsurge lipid indices in CVZ mice but PGF mice were not sensitive to the effect of HF diet as CVZ mice.After the dietary administration of TP,body weight,perirenal fat and epididymal fat,liver weight,glucose(GLU)level,total chloestrol(TC level),high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C)level significantly lowered in PGF mice as compared to CVZ mice group.However,the area of fat cells and triglyceride(TG)level were significantly increased in PGF mice.In CVZ mice,TP intervention resulted in a considerable drop in the Firmicutes/Bacteroides ratio as compared to PGF mice.The intestinal flora of PGF mice was severely reduced after antibiotic treatment,while TP administration restored intestinal diversity;the abundance of Akkermansia and Lactobacillus increased,whereas the abundance of Enterobacteriaceae and Prevotella reduced.Overall,we can assume that PGF obese mice administered with TP have less anti-obesity effects compared to obese CVZ mice.Kashif Hussain Yingying Yang Jie Wang Hengjuan Bian Xi Lei Junjie Chen Qianying Li Li Wang Qingping Zhong Xiang Fang Yutao Wang Hong Wei Yigang Tong Zhenlin Liao 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,3:2

14Microstructure analysis of AISI 304 stainless steel produced by twin-roll thin strip casting process显示文摘The microstructure of AISI 304 austenite stainless steel fabricated by the thin strip casting process were investigated using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The microstructures of the casting strips show a duplex structure consisting of delta ferrite and austenite. The volume fraction of the delta ferrite is about 9.74vol% at the center and 6.77vol% at the surface of the casting thin strip, in vermicular and band shapes. On account of rapid cooling and solidification in the continuous casting process, many kinds of inclusions and precipitates have been found. Most of the inclusions and precipitates are spherical complex compounds consisting of oxides, such as, SiO2, MnO, Al2O3, Cr2O3, and FeO or their multiplicity oxides of MnO·Al2O3, 2FeO·SiO2, and 2MnO·SiO2. 16Study on Influencing Factors and Kinetics of Removal of Ammonia Nitrogen from High Salinity Wastewater by Sodium Hypochlorite Oxidation显示文摘The influencing factors and kinetics of oxidative degradation of ammonia nitrogen in high salinity wastewater by sodium hypochlorite oxidation( Na Cl O) were studied. The results showed that the degradation process of ammonia nitrogen by sodium hypochlorite accorded with a pseudo first-order kinetics model,and the influencing factors included Na Cl O dosage,initial concentration of ammonia nitrogen,salinity,temperature,and so on. When Na Cl O dosage was 0. 6%( MCl∶ MN= 13. 76),the reaction rate constant was up to 0. 015 75 min^(-1). The higher the initial concentration of ammonia nitrogen was,the worse the effect of oxidation reaction was. When the initial concentration did not exceed 45 mg/L,the effect on oxidation reaction rate constant increased with the increase of the initial concentration. Low salinity had no effect on ammonia nitrogen oxidation.When salinity was higher than 2. 0%,the inhibition effect on ammonia nitrogen oxidation would increase,and the reaction rate constant decreased obviously with the increase of salinity. The improvement of reaction temperature was beneficial to ammonia oxidation degradation. 17Performant Au hydrogenation catalyst cooperated with Cu-doped Al_(2)O_(3) for selective conversion of furfural to furfuryl alcohol at ambient pressure显示文摘Catalytic hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol is an important upgrading process for valorization of biomass-derived furanyl platform molecules.However,selective hydrogenation of a,b-unsaturated aldehydes like furfural to the corresponding alcohols at ambient pressure remains challenging in sustainable chemistry.Till date heterogeneous Au hydrogenation catalyst has been scarcely reported for this reaction due to the low reactivity of Au for H_(2)dissociation.In this work,we showed that Au nanoparticles(loading:0.2 wt%)with a mean size of about 3 nm supported on Cu-doped Al_(2)O_(3)can efficiently hydrogenate furfural to furfuryl alcohol in liquid phase at ambient pressure.We demonstrated that doping a small amount of Cu(2 mol%)to g-Al_(2)O_(3)may modify the Lewis acidity-basicity of Al_(2)O_(3)and simultaneously induce the presence of sufficient Cu^(+) species on surface,which facilitated the hydrogen transfer from i-PrOH to furfural.Moreover,we observed an enhanced reactivity of Au toward molecular H_(2)via cooperation with the Lewis acidic-basic Cu_(2)O-Al_(2)O_(3)support.Hence,100%yield to furfuryl alcohol with a productivity of 0.98 g_(FA),h^(-1),g^(-1)_(cat.)at 120C and 0.1 MPa H_(2)can be obtained.The prepared Au/Cu-Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst was found reusable and was effective to the concentrated furfural solution,as well as several typical unsaturated aldehydes.Junjie Chen Weixiao Sun Yongxing Wang Wenhao Fang 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,4:2

20Orbital-regulated interfacial electronic coupling endows Ni3N with superior catalytic surface for hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘The interstitial structure and weak Ni-N interaction of Ni3N lead to high unoccupied d orbital energy and unsuitable orbital orientation,which consequently results in weak orbital coupling with H2O and slow water dissociation kinetics for alkaline hydrogen evolution catalysis.Herein,we successfully lower the unoccupied d orbital energy of Ni3N to strengthen the interfacial electronic coupling by employing the strong electron pulling capability of oxygen dopants.The prepared O-Ni3N catalyst delivers an overpotential of 55 mV at 10 mA cm−2,very close to the commercial Pt/C.Refined structural characterization indicates the oxygen incorporation can decrease the electron densities around the Ni sites.Moreover,density functional theory calculation further proves the oxygen incorporation can create more unoccupied orbitals with lower energy and superior orientation for water adsorption and dissociation.The concept of orbital-regulated interfacial electronic coupling could offer a unique approach for the rational design of hydrogen evolution catalysts and beyond.Yanyan Fang Da Sun Shuwen Niu Jinyan Cai Yipeng Zang Yishang Wu Linqin Zhu Yufang Xie Yun Liu Zixuan Zhu Amirabbas Mosallanezhad Di Niu Zheng Lu Junjie Shi Xiaojing Liu Dewei Rao Gongming Wang Yitai Qian 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,11:1
