1Humoral immune response to circulating SARS-CoV-2 variants elicited by inactivated and RBD-subunit vaccines显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 variants could induce immune escape by mutations on the receptor-binding domain(RBD)and N-terminal domain(NTD).Here we report the humoral immune response to circulating SARS-CoV-2 variants,such as 501Y.V2(B.1.351),of the plasma and neutralizing antibodies(NAbs)elicited by CoronaVac(inactivated vaccine),ZF2001(RBD-subunit vaccine)and natural infection.Among 86 potent NAbs identified by high-throughput single-cell VDJ sequencing of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from vaccinees and convalescents,near half anti-RBD NAbs showed major neutralization reductions against the K417N/E484K/N501Y mutation combination,with E484K being the dominant cause.VH3-53/VH3-66 recurrent antibodies respond differently to RBD variants,and K417N compromises the majority of neutralizing activity through reduced polar contacts with complementarity determining regions.In contrast,the 242–244 deletion(242–244Δ)would abolish most neutralization activity of anti-NTD NAbs by interrupting the conformation of NTD antigenic supersite,indicating a much less diversity of anti-NTD NAbs than anti-RBD NAbs.Plasma of convalescents and CoronaVac vaccinees displayed comparable neutralization reductions against pseudo-and authentic 501Y.V2 variants,mainly caused by E484K/N501Y and 242–244Δ,with the effects being additive.Importantly,RBD-subunit vaccinees exhibit markedly higher tolerance to 501Y.V2 than convalescents,since the elicited anti-RBD NAbs display a high diversity and are unaffected by NTD mutations.Moreover,an extended gap between the third and second doses of ZF2001 leads to better neutralizing activity and tolerance to 501Y.V2 than the standard three-dose administration.Together,these results suggest that the deployment of RBD-vaccines,through a third-dose boost,may be ideal for combating SARS-CoV-2 variants when necessary,especially for those carrying mutations that disrupt the NTD supersite.Yunlong Cao Ayijiang Yisimayi Yali Bai Weijin Huang Xiaofeng Li Zhiying Zhang Tianjiao Yuan Ran An Jing Wang Tianhe Xiao Shuo Du Wenping Ma Liyang Song Yongzheng Li Xiang Li Weiliang Song Jiajing Wu Shuo Liu Xuemei Li Yonghong Zhang Bin Su Xianghua Guo Yangyang Wei Chuanping Gao Nana Zhang Yifei Zhang Yang Dou Xiaoyu Xu Rui Shi Bai Lu Ronghua Jin Yingmin Ma Chengfeng Qin Youchun Wang Yingmei Feng Junyu Xiao Xiaoliang Sunney Xie 2021Cell Research2021,31,7:12
2A WiFi Fingerprint Based High-Adaptability Indoor Localization via Machine Learning显示文摘For received signal strength(RSS)fingerprint based indoor localization approaches,the localization accuracy is significantly influenced by the RSS variance,device heterogeneity and environment complexity.In this work,we present a high-adaptability indoor localization(HAIL)approach,which leverages the advantages of both relative RSS values and absolute RSS values to achieve robustness and accuracy.Particularly,a backpropagation neural network(BPNN)is devised in HAIL to measure the fingerprints similarities based on absolute RSS values.With this aid,the characteristics of the applied area could be specially learned such that HAIL could be adaptive to different environments.The experiments demonstrate that HAIL achieves high localization accuracy with the average localization error of 0.87 m in the typical environments.Moreover,HAIL has the minimum amount of large errors and decreases the average localization error by about 30%~50%compared with the existing approaches.Jianzhe Xue Junyu Liu Min Sheng Yan Shi Jiandong Li 2020China Communications2020,17,7:5
3Novel application of bergapten and quercetin with anti-bacterial,osteogenesis-potentiating,and anti-inflammation tri-effects显示文摘The bacteria-mediated inflammatory conditions adversely affect the osseointegration process of endosseous implants,which can even lead to implant malfunction or failure.Local drug delivery has been designed to exert anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activities,but whether this strategy has an effect on the compromised osseointegration under inflammation has rarely been studied.The present study focused on the osteoinductive efficacy of two known phytoestrogens[bergapten(BP)and quercetin(QE)]on implant sites under multiple bacteria-infected conditions in situ.Furthermore,the gene expression profiles of rat bone mesenchymal stem cells(rBMSCs)treated with BP and QE in the presence of Porphyromonas gingivalis-derived lipopolysaccharide were identified.The results showed that both drugs,especially QE,had significant potentiating effects on promoting osteogenic differentiation of rBMSCs,resisting multiple pathogens,and reducing inflammatory activity.Meanwhile,RNA sequencing analysis highlighted the enriched gene ontology terms and the differentially expressed genes(Vps25,Il1r2,Csf3,Efemp1,and Ccl20)that might play essential roles in regulating the above tri-effects,which provided the basis for the drug delivery system to be used as a novel therapeutic strategy for integrating peri-implant health.Overall,our study confirmed that QE appeared to outperform BP in osteogenesis and bacterial killing but not in anti-inflammation.Moreover,both drugs possess favorable tri-effects and can serve as the pivotal agents for the drug delivery system to boost osseointegration at inflammatory implant sites.Jianxu Wei Xiaomeng Zhang Yuan Li Xinxin Ding Yi Zhang Xue Jiang Hongchang Lai Junyu Shi 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6:4
4HMGB1 from Astrocytes Promotes EAE by Influencing the Immune Cell Infiltration-Associated Functions of BMECs in Mice显示文摘High mobility group box 1(HMGB1)has been reported to play an important role in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE).Astrocytes are important components of neurovascular units and tightly appose the endothelial cells of microvessels by their perivascular endfeet and directly regulate the functions of the blood-brain barrier.Astrocytes express more HMGB1 during EAE while the exact roles of astrocytic HMGB1 in EAE have not been well elucidated.Here,using conditional-knockout mice,we found that astrocytic HMGB1 depletion decreased morbidity,delayed the onset time,and reduced the disease score and demyelination of EAE.Meanwhile,there were fewer immune cells,especially pathogenic T cells infiltration in the central nervous system of astrocytic HMGB1 conditional-knockout EAE mice,accompanied by up-regulated expression of the tight-junction protein Claudin5 and down-regulated expression of the cell adhesion molecules ICAM1 and VCAM1 in vivo.In vitro,HMGB1 released from astrocytes decreased Claudin5 while increased ICAM1 and VCAM1 expressed by brain microvascular endothelial cells(BMECs)through TLR4 or RAGE.Taken together,our results demonstrate that HMGB1 derived from astrocytes aggravates EAE by directly influencing the immune cell infiltration-associated functions of BMECs.Junyu Shi Yifan Xiao Na Zhang Mengya Jiao Xuhuan Tang Chan Dai Chenchen Wang Yong Xu Zheng Tan Feili Gong Fang Zheng 2022Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,11:3
5Neuroligins Differentially Mediate Subtype-Specific Synapse Formation in Pyramidal Neurons and Interneurons显示文摘Neuroligins(NLs) are postsynaptic cell-adhesion proteins that play important roles in synapse formation and the excitatory-inhibitory balance. They have been associated with autism in both human genetic and animal model studies, and affect synaptic connections and synaptic plasticity in several brain regions. Yet current research mainly focuses on pyramidal neurons, while the function of NLs in interneurons remains to be understood. To explore the functional difference among NLs in the subtypespecific synapse formation of both pyramidal neurons and interneurons, we performed viral-mediated shRNA knockdown of NLs in cultured rat cortical neurons and examined the synapses in the two major types of neurons. Our results showed that in both types of neurons, NL1 and NL3 were involved in excitatory synapse formation, and NL2 in GABAergic synapse formation. Interestingly, NL1 affectedGABAergic synapse formation more specifically than NL3,and NL2 affected excitatory synapse density preferentially in pyramidal neurons. 8Hybrid Optimization-Based GRU Neural Network for Software Reliability Prediction显示文摘Aiming at the problems of low prediction accuracy and weak generalization ability of current reliability prediction models,this paper proposes a hybrid multi-layer heterogeneous particle swarm optimization algorithm(HMHPSO)that can simultaneously optimize the structure and parameters of the GRU neural network.It first introduced a multi-layer heteromass particle swarm optimization(MHPSO)algorithm,which sets the population topology as a hierarchical structure and introduces the concept of attractors,so as to improve the update formula of particle speed,and enhance the information interaction ability between particles,increase the diversity of the groups,thereby improving the optimization ability of the algorithm.Then the HMHPSO used the quantum particle swarm optimization(QPSO)algorithm to determine the structure of the GRU,that is,the number of hidden nodes.Experimental results show that the algorithm can generate GRU neural networks with high generalization performance and low architecture complexity,and has better prediction accuracy in software reliability prediction.Maochuan Wu Junyu Lin Shouchuang Shi Long Ren Zhiwen Wang 2020国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2020,,2:0

11A small signal coupling model for predicting the coupling between LNAs显示文摘A small signal coupling model is developed to analyze the coupling between two LNAs. The mutual inductance between the adjacent on-chip inductors is considered responsible for this coupling. A set of formulas have been derived to quantitatively predict the coupling effects. Based on our analysis, a quick estimation can be made to see which pair of inductors plays a key role in evaluating the coupling between the LNAs. Source inductors of two LNAs are placed closely while the load inductors are far apart according to the analysis. To validate the proposed theory, two 2 GHz LNAs are fabricated. 12Design and Realization of Schottky Barrier Didoes in 130nm CMOS Process显示文摘A polysilicon separated CMOS Schottky barrier diode is designed and tested in this study.By replacing the shallow trench isolation(STI)of a ploy ring,the series resistances of Schottky diodes are reduced,leading to an improvement in cut-off frequencies.The device structure is detailed and a device model is developed.Our analysis on the device shows that the cut-off frequency increases with the decreasing of the Schottky contact area.Based on this observation,the Schottky contact area is set to0.38×0.38μm^2,which is the minimum contact diffusion area allowed by the process flow.The distance between the anode and the cathode is also discussed.Diodes with different dimensions are fabricated and measured.Through extensive measurements,the optimum dimensions are obtained.Bondpads with a reduced area are used to improve the measurement accuracy.The measurement results show that these diodes can achieve a cut-off frequency of 1.5 THz.Thus,it is possible to use these diodes in THz detection.Junyu Shi Dasheng Cui Haidong Hao Haixia Wu Xin Lyu 2017Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2017,26,2:0

15VOC emission caps constrained by air quality targets based on response surface model:A case study in the Pearl River Delta Region,China显示文摘Because of the recent growth in ground-level ozone and increased emission of volatile organic compounds(VOCs),VOC emission control has become a major concern in China.In response,emission caps to control VOC have been stipulated in recent policies,but few of them were constrained by the co-control target of PM_(2.5)and ozone,and discussed the factor that influence the emission cap formulation.Herein,we proposed a framework for quantification of VOC emission caps constrained by targets for PM_(2.5)and ozone via a new response surface modeling(RSM)technique,achieving 50%computational cost savings of the quantification.In the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region,the VOC emission caps constrained by air quality targets varied greatly with the NOxemission reduction level.If control measures in the surrounding areas of the PRD region were not considered,there could be two feasible strategies for VOC emission caps to meet air quality targets(160μg/m^(3)for the maximum 8-hr-average 90th-percentile(MDA8-90%)ozone and 25μg/m^(3)for the annual average of PM_(2.5)):a moderate VOC emission cap with<20%NOxemission reductions or a notable VOC emission cap with>60%NOxemission reductions.If the ozone concentration target were reduced to 155μg/m^(3),deep NOxemission reductions is the only feasible ozone control measure in PRD.Optimization of seasonal VOC emission caps based on the Monte Carlo simulation could allow us to gain higher ozone benefits or greater VOC emission reductions.If VOC emissions were further reduced in autumn,MDA8-90%ozone could be lowered by 0.3-1.5μg/m^(3),equaling the ozone benefits of 10%VOC emission reduction measures.The method for VOC emission cap quantification and optimization proposed in this study could provide scientific guidance for coordinated control of regional PM_(2.5)and O_(3)pollution in China.Ya’nan Hu Bowen Shi Xin Yuan Chuanzeng Zheng Qing’e Sha Yufan Yu Zhijiong Huang Junyu Zheng 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,1:0
16A nonchlorinated solvent-processed polymer semiconductor for high-performance ambipolar transistors显示文摘Ambipolar polymer semiconductors are potentially serviceable for logic circuits,light-emitting field-effect transistors(LFETs)and polymer solar cells(PSCs).Although several high-performance ambipolar polymers have been developed,their optoelectronic devices are generally processed from toxic chlorinated solvents.To achieve the commercial applications of organic FETs(OFETs),the polymers should be processed from nonchlorinated solvents,instead of chlorinated solvents.However,most conjugated polymers show poor solubility in nonchlorinated solvents.It is of great importance to develop ambipolar polymers that can be processed from nonchlorinated solvents.Here,we develop a nonchlorinated solvent processed polymer named poly[7-fluoro-N,N′-di(4-decyltetradecyl)-7′-azaisoindigo-6′,6′′-(thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-2,5-diyl)-7′′′-fluoro-N′′,N′′′-di(4-decyltetradecyl)-7′′-azaisoindigo-6,6′′′-([2,2′′-bithiophene]-5,5′′-diyl)](PITTI-BT)by designing a monomer with a large molar mass.The polymer displays good solubility in p-xylene(PX).Well-aligned films of PITTI-BT are achieved by an off-center spin-coating(SC)method.Based on the high-quality films,the OFETs fabricated from PX solution achieve record ambipolar performance with hole and electron mobilities of 3.06 and2.81 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1),respectively.The combination of nonchlorinated solvents and good alignment process offers an effective and eco-friendly approach to obtain high-performance ambipolar transistors.Jie Yang Yaqian Jiang Zhiyuan Zhao Xueli Yang Zheye Zhang Jinyang Chen Junyu Li Wei Shi Shuai Wang Yunlong Guo Yunqi Liu 2022National Science Review2022,9,4:0
17Unsupervised Style Control for Image Captioning显示文摘We propose a novel unsupervised image captioning method.Image captioning involves two fields of deep learning,natural language processing and computer vision.The excessive pursuit ofmodel evaluation results makes the caption style generated by the model too monotonous,which is difficult to meet people’s demands for vivid and stylized image captions.Therefore,we propose an image captioning model that combines text style transfer and image emotion recognition methods,with which the model can better understand images and generate controllable stylized captions.The proposed method can automatically judge the emotion contained in the image through the image emotion recognition module,better understand the image content,and control the description through the text style transfermethod,thereby generating captions thatmeet people’s expectations.To our knowledge,this is the first work to use both image emotion recognition and text style control.Junyu Tian Zhikun Yang Shumin Shi 2022国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2022,,1:0

20Comparative transcriptional analysis and identification of hub genes associated with wing differentiation of male in Aphis gossypii显示文摘Background:Aphis gossypii Glover(Hemiptera:Aphididae),a worldwide polyphagous phloem-feeding agricultural pest,has three wing morphs(winged parthenogenetic female,gynopara,and male)in the life cycle.The exclusive males could fly from summer hosts to winter hosts,which are essential for gene exchanges of cotton aphid populations from different hosts or regions.However,the molecular mechanism of wing differentiation of male in A.gossypii remains unclear.Results:Morphological observation of male A.gossypii showed that there is no distinct difference in the external morphologies of the 1st and 2nd instar nymphs.The obvious differentiation of wing buds started in the 3rd instar nymph and was visible via naked eyes in the 4th instar nymphal stage,then adult male emerged with full wings.According to morphological dynamic changes,the development of wings in males were divided into four stages:preliminary stage(the 1st instar to 2nd instar),prophase(the 3rd instar),metaphase(the 4th instar),anaphase(the 5th instar).Results of feeding behavior monitoring via EPG(electrical penetration graph)technology indicated that although the male cotton aphids had strong desire to feed(longer duration of C 55.24%,F 5.05%and Pd waves 2.56%),its feeding efficiency to summer host cotton was low(shorter E13.56%and E2 waves 2.63%).Dynamic transcriptome analysis of male aphid at 5 different developmental periods showed that in the 3rd instar nymph,the number of up-regulated DEGs was significant increased,and time-course gene transcriptional pattern analyses results also showed that numerous genes categorized in clusters 3,5,and 8 had the highest expressed levels,which were consistent with morphological changes of wing buds.These results indicate that the 3rd instar nymph is the critical stage of wing bud differentiation in males.Furthermore,through pathway enrichment analysis of DEGs and WGCNA,it revealed that the neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction,Ras signaling pathway,dopaminergic synapse,circadian entrainment and the corresponding hub genes of PLK1,BUB1,SMC2,TUBG,ASPM,the kinesin family members(KIF23,KIF20,KIF18-19)and the novel subfamily of serine/threonine(Aurora kinase A and Aurora kinase B)probably played an important role in the critical stage of wing bud differentiation.Conclusion:This study explored morphological changes and genes transcriptional dynamics males in cotton aphid,revealed the phenomenon of low feeding efficiency of winged males on summer host cotton,and identified key signaling pathways and potential hub genes potentially involved in wing bud differentiation of male in A.gossypii.HUANGFU Ningbo SHI Qingyu CHEN Lulu MA Xiaoyan ZHANG Kaixin LI Dongyang WANG Li ZHU Xiangzhen JI Jichao LUO Junyu CUI Jinjie 2022Journal of Cotton Research2022,5,3:0
