2CsPb(I_(x)Br_(1-x))_(3) solar cells显示文摘Owing to its nice performance, low cost, and simple solution-processing, organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell(PSC) becomes a promising candidate for next-generation high-efficiency solar cells.The power conversion efficiency(PCE) has boosted from 3.8% to 25.2% over the past ten years. Despite the rapid progress in PCE, the device stability is a key issue that impedes the commercialization of PSCs. Recently, all-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have attracted much attention due to their better stability compared with their organic-inorganic counterpart. In this progress report, we summarize the properties of CsPb(IxBr1-x)3 and their applications in solar cells. The current challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. 3Long non-coding RNA LncKdm2b regulates cortical neuronal differentiation by cis-activating Kdm2b显示文摘The mechanisms underlying spatial and temporal control of cortical neurogenesis of the brain are largely elusive.Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)have emerged as essential cell fate regulators.Here we found LncKdm2b(also known as Kancr),a lncRNA divergently transcribed from a bidirectional promoter of Kdm2b,is transiently expressed during early differentiation of cortical projection neurons.Interestingly,Kdm2b’s transcription is positively regulated in cis by LncKdm2b,which has intrinsic-activating function and facilitates a permissive chromatin environment at the Kdm2b’s promoter by associating with hnRNPAB.Lineage tracing experiments and phenotypic analyses indicated LncKdm2b and Kdm2b are crucial in proper differentiation and migration of cortical projection neurons.These observations unveiled a lncRNA-dependent machinery in regulating cortical neuronal differentiation.Wei Li Wenchen Shen Bo Zhang Kuan Tian Yamu Li Lili Mu Zhiyuan Luo Xiaoling Zhong Xudong Wu Ying Liu Yan Zhou 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,3:2

7Gelatin-based composite hydrogels with biomimetic lubrication and sustained drug release显示文摘The occurrence of osteoarthritis is closely related to progressive and irreversible destruction of the articular cartilage,which increases the friction significantly and causes further inflammation of the joint.Thus,a scaffold for articular cartilage defects should be developed via lubrication restoration and drug intervention.In this study,we successfully synthesized gelatin-based composite hydrogels,namely GelMA–PAM–PMPC,with the properties of biomimetic lubrication and sustained drug release by photopolymerization of methacrylic anhydride modified gelatin(GelMA),acrylamide(AM),and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine(MPC).Tribological test showed that the composite hydrogels remarkably enhanced lubrication due to the hydration lubrication mechanism,where a tenacious hydration shell was formed around the zwitterionic phosphocholine headgroups.In addition,drug release test indicated that the composite hydrogels efficiently encapsulated an anti-inflammatory drug(diclofenac sodium)and achieved sustained release.Furthermore,the in vitro test revealed that the composite hydrogels were biocompatible,and the mRNA expression of both anabolic and catabolic genes of the articular cartilage was suitably regulated.This indicated that the composite hydrogels could effectively protect chondrocytes from inflammatory cytokine-induced degeneration.In summary,the composite hydrogels that provide biomimetic hydration lubrication and sustained local drug release represent a promising scaffold for cartilage defects in the treatment of osteoarthritis.Kuan ZHANG Jielai YANG Yulong SUN Yi WANG Jing LIANG Jing LUO Wenguo CUI Lianfu DENG Xiangyang XU Bo WANG Hongyu ZHANG 2022Friction2022,10,2:1

13Extremely strong coupling s-wave superconductivity in the medium-entropy alloy TiHfNbTa显示文摘Here we report a TiHfNbTa bulk medium-entropy alloy(MEA)superconductor crystallized in the body-centered cubic structure with the unit cell parameter a=3.35925?,which is synthesized by an arc melting method.Superconducting properties of the TiHfNbTa are studied by employing magnetic susceptibility,resistivity,and specific heat measurements.Experimental results show a bulk superconducting transition temperature(Tc)of around 6.75 K.The lower and upper critical fields for TiHfNbTa are45.8 m T and 10.46 T,respectively.First-principles calculations show that the d electrons of Ti,Hf,Nb,and Ta are the main contribution to the total density of states near the Fermi level.Our results indicate that the superconductivity is a conventional swave type with extremely strong coupling(△C_(el)/γ_(n)T_(c)=2.88,2△_(0)/k_(B)T_(c)=5.02,and λ_(ep)=2.77).The extremely strong coupling behavior in the s-wave type Ti Hf Nb Ta MEA superconductor is unusual because it generally happens in cuprates,pnictides,and other unconventional superconductors.Lingyong Zeng Xunwu Hu Mebrouka Boubeche Kuan Li Longfu Li Peifeng Yu Kangwang Wang Chao Zhang Kui Jin Dao-Xin Yao Huixia Luo 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,7:0
14Accelerated discovery of novel high-performance zinc-ion battery cathode materials by combining high-throughput screening and experiments显示文摘Aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs)have attracted much attention in recent years due to their high safety,low cost,and decent electrochemical performance.However,the traditional electrodes development process requires tedious synthesis and testing procedures,which reduces the efficiency of developing highperformance battery devices.Here,we proposed a high-throughput screening strategy based on firstprinciples calculations to aid the experimental development of high-performance spinel cathode materials for AZIBs.We obtained 14 spinel materials from 12,047 Mn/Zn-O based materials by examining their structures and whether they satisfy the basic properties of electrodes.Then their band structures and density of states,open circuit voltage and volume expansion rate,ionic diffusion coefficient and energy barrier were further evaluated by first-principles calculations,resulting in five potential candidates.One of the promising candidates identified,Mg_(2)MnO_(4),was experimentally synthesized,characterized and integrated into an AZIB based cell to verify its performance as a cathode.The Mg_(2)MnO_(4)cathode exhibits excellent cycling stability,which is consistent with the theoretically predicted low volume expansion.Moreover,at high current density,the Mg_(2)MnO_(4)cathode still exhibits high reversible capacity and excellent rate performance,indicating that it is an excellent cathode material for AZIBs.Our work provides a new approach to accelerate the development of high-performance cathodes for AZIBs and other ion batteries.Haoran Luo Jiangbin Deng Qianzhi Gou Omololu Odunmbaku Kuan Sun Juanxiu Xiao Meng Li Yujie Zheng 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8:0
15Development of aperiodic multilayer mirrors operated at W-Lβline for plasma diagnostics application显示文摘Multilayer interference mirrors play a pivotal role in spectroscopic diagnostic systems,which probe electron temperature and density during inertial confinement fusion processes.In this study,aperiodic Mo/B_(4)C multilayer mirrors of varied thick-nesses were investigated for X-ray plasma diagnostics at the 9.67-keV W-Lβline.The thickness distribution of the aperiodic multilayers was designed using the first Bragg diffraction condition and then optimized through a simplex algorithm to realize a narrow bandwidth and consistent spectral response.To enhance spectral accuracy,further refinements were undertaken by matching the grazing incidence X-ray reflectivity data with actual structural parameters.X-ray reflectivity measurements from the SSRF synchrotron radiation facility on the optimized sample showed a reflectivity of 29.7±2.6%,flat-band range of 1.3 keV,and bandwidth of 1.7 keV,making it suitable for high-temperature plasma diagnostics.The study explored the potential of predicting the 9.67 keV reflectivity spectrum using the fitting data from the grazing incidence X-ray reflectivity curves at 8.05 keV.Additionally,the short-term thermal stability of an aperiodic multilayer was assessed using temperature-dependent in situ X-ray measurements.Shifts in the reflectivity spectrum during annealing were attributed to interdiffusion and interfacial relaxation.The research team recommends the aperiodic Mo/B_(4)C multilayer mirror for operations below 300℃.Ze‑Hua Yang Jing‑Tao Zhu Zhong‑Liang Li Hong‑Xin Luo Shang‑Yu Si Yun‑Ping Zhu Li Zhao Kuan Ren Feng Wang Rong‑Qing Yi 2023Nuclear Science and Techniques2023,34,11:0
16Transcriptome Analysis Identifies SenZfp536,a Sense LncRNA that Suppresses Self-renewal of Cortical Neural Progenitors显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)regulate transcription to control development and homeostasis in a variety of tissues and organs.However,their roles in the development of the cerebral cortex have not been well elucidated.Here,a bioinformatics pipeline was applied to delineate the dynamic expression and potential cis-regulating effects of mouse lncRNAs using transcriptome data from 8 embryonic time points and sub-regions of the developing cerebral cortex.We further characterized a sense lncRNA,SenZfp536,which is transcribed downstream of and partially overlaps with the protein-coding gene Zfp536.Both SenZfp536 and Zfp536 were predominantly expressed in the proliferative zone of the developing cortex.Zfp536 was cis-regulated by SenZfp536,which facilitates looping between the promoter of Zfp536 and the genomic region that transcribes SenZfp536.Surprisingly,knocking down or activating the expression of SenZfp536 increased or compromised the proliferation of cortical neural progenitor cells(NPCs),respectively.Finally,overexpressing Zfp536 in cortical NPCs reversed the enhanced proliferation of cortical NPCs caused by SenZfp536 knockdown.The study deepens our understanding of how lncRNAs regulate the propagation of cortical NPCs through cis-regulatory mechanisms.Kuan Tian Andi Wang Junbao Wang Wei Li Wenchen Shen Yamu Li Zhiyuan Luo Ying Liu Yan Zhou 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,2:0

18A multifunctional nanotheranostic agent potentiates erlotinib to EGFR wild-type non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKI),such as Erlotinib,have demonstrated remarkable efficacy in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients with mutated EGFR.However,the efficacy of EGFR-TKIs in wild-type(wt)EGFR tumours has been shown to be marginal.Methods that can sensitize Erlotinib to EGFR wild-type NSCLC remain rare.Herein,we developed a multifunctional superparamagnetic nanotheranostic agent as a novel strategy to potentiate Erlotinib to EGFR-wt NSCLCs.Our results demonstrate that the nanoparticles can co-escort Erlotinib and a vascular epithermal growth factor(VEGF)inhibitor,Bevacizumab(Bev),to EGFR-wt tumours.The nanotheranostic agent exhibits remarkable effects as an inhibitor of EGFR-wt tumour growth.Moreover,Bev normalizes the tumour embedded vessels,further promoting the therapeutic efficacy of Erlotinib.In addition,the tumour engagement of the nanoparticles and the vascular normalization could be tracked by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Collectively,our study,for the first time,demonstrated that elaborated nanoparticles could be employed as a robust tool to potentiate Erlotinib to EGFR-wt NSCLC,paving the way for imaging-guided nanotheranostics for refractory NSCLCs expressing EGFR wild-type genes.Duo Wang Jun Zhou Weimin Fang Cuiqing Huang Zerong Chen Meng Fan Ming-Rong Zhang Zeyu Xiao Kuan Hu Liangping Luo 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:0
19Understanding Bridging Sites and Accelerating Quantum Efficiency for Photocatalytic CO_(2) Reduction显示文摘We report a novel double-shelled nanoboxes photocatalyst architecture with tailored interfaces that accelerate quantum efficiency for photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)via Mo–S bridging bonds sites in S_(v)–In_(2)S_(3)@2H–MoTe_(2).The X-ray absorption near-edge structure shows that the formation of S_(v)–In_(2)S_(3)@2H–MoTe_(2) adjusts the coordination environment via interface engineering and forms Mo–S polarized sites at the interface.The interfacial dynamics and catalytic behavior are clearly revealed by ultrafast femtosecond transient absorption,time-resolved,and in situ diffuse reflectance–Infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy.A tunable electronic structure through steric interaction of Mo–S bridging bonds induces a 1.7-fold enhancement in S_(v)–In_(2)S_(3)@2H–MoTe_(2)(5)photogenerated carrier concentration relative to pristine S_(v)–In_(2)S_(3).Benefiting from lower carrier transport activation energy,an internal quantum efficiency of 94.01%at 380 nm was used for photocatalytic CO_(2)RR.This study proposes a new strategy to design photocatalyst through bridging sites to adjust the selectivity of photocatalytic CO_(2)RR.Kangwang Wang Zhuofeng Hu Peifeng Yu Alina M.Balu Kuan Li Longfu Li Lingyong Zeng Chao Zhang Rafael Luque Kai Yan Huixia Luo 2024Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,1:0
20Endovascular treatment of direct carotid cavernous fistula resulting from rupture of intracavernous carotid aneurysm: A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Direct carotid cavernous fistulas(CCFs)are typically the result of a severe traumatic brain injury.High-flow arteriovenous shunts secondary to rupture of an intracavernous aneurysm,resulting in direct CCFs,are rare.The use of a pipeline embolization device in conjunction with coils and Onyx glue for treatment of direct high-flow CCF resulting from ruptured cavernous carotid artery aneurysm in a clinical setting is not well documented.CASE SUMMARY A 58-year-old woman presented to our department with symptoms of blepharoptosis and intracranial bruits for 1 wk.During physical examination,there was right eye exophthalmos and ocular motor palsy.The rest of the neurological examination was clear.Notably,the patient had no history of head injury.The patient was treated with a pipeline embolization device in the ipsilateral internal carotid artery across the fistula.Coils and Onyx were placed through the femoral venous route,followed by placement of the pipeline embolization device with assistance from a balloon-coiling technique.No intraoperative or perioperative complications occurred.Preoperative symptoms of bulbar hyperemia and bruits subsided immediately after the operation.CONCLUSION Pipeline embolization device in conjunction with coiling and Onyx may be a safe and effective approach for direct CCFs.Guang Ouyang Kai-Li Zheng Kuan Luo Mu Qiao Yuan Zhu De-Rui Pan 2024World Journal of Clinical Cases2024,12,11:0
