2Removal of nitric oxide from simulated flue gas via denitrification in a hollow-fiber membrane bioreactor显示文摘A hollow-fiber membrane bioreactor(HMBR) was studied for its ability to treat nitric oxide(NO) from simulated flue gas. The HMBR was operated for 9 months and showed a maximum elimination capacity of 702 mg NO/(m2·day) with a removal efciency of 86%(gas residence time of 30 sec, inlet NO concentration of 2680 mg/m3, pH 8). Varying operation parameters were tested to determine the stability and response of the HMBR. Both the inlet NO concentration and gas residence time influenced the removal of NO in the HMBR. NO elimination capacity increased with an increase in inlet NO concentration or a shortening of gas residence time. Higher removal efciency of NO was obtained at a longer gas residence time or a lower inlet NO concentration. Microbial communities of the HMBR were sensitive to the variation in pH value and alkalescence corresponding to an optimum pH value of 8. In addition, NO elimination capacity and removal efciency were inversely proportional to the inlet oxygen concentration. Sulfur dioxide had no great influence on elimination capacity and removal efciency of NO. Product analysis was performed to study N2O and N2 production and confirmed that the majority of the microorganisms were denitrifying bacteria in the HMBR. 3Near-Field Source Localization Using Spherical Microphone Arrays显示文摘A new method is proposed for joint range and bearing(azimuth and elevation) estimation of multiple near-field acoustic sources using observations collected by a spherical microphone array. First, Spherical Fourier transform(SFT) is used to construct the array signal model in the spherical harmonics domain to decouple range and bearing information. Then the relation among the spherical harmonics of three adjacent degrees is exploited to build the recursive relationship of the signal subspace. Using Eigenvalue decomposition(EVD), bearings are estimated based on the eigenvalues and simultaneously the steering matrix can be represented by the signal subspace.Finally, range is estimated using the energy ratios of the elements of the steering matrix in the spherical harmonics domain. The algorithm can avoid parameter pairing and multi-dimensional searching. It has lower computational complexity than that of the Multiple signal classification(MUSIC) method. 4A synthetic criterion for early recognition of cutting chatter显示文摘Cutting chatter is a violent self-excited vibration between a tool and a workpiece.Its negative effects mainly include poor surface quality,inferior dimensional accuracy,disproportionate tool wear or tool breakage,and excessive noise.Therefore,early recognition and online suppression of chatter vibration are necessary.This paper proposes a novel synthetic criterion(SC)for early chatter recognition.The proposed SC integrates standard deviation(STD)and one-step autocorrelation function(OSAF).Moreover,this paper revised the fast algorithm of OSAF.We can quantitatively divide a chatter vibration signal into three stages,which are stable stage,transition stage and chatter stage according to the SC.Compared with STD,the SC can improve the reliability of chatter recognition and the threshold of SC is not sensitive to variable cutting conditions.This paper presents an original algorithm of SC and its fast algorithm in detail.The fast algorithm of SC in this paper improves the computation efficiency compared with the original algorithm of SC.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed SC,a series of milling experiments were conducted under different cutting conditions.In these experiments,the vibration signals were acquired by two accelerometers mounted on the spindle house.The experimental results showed that the proposed SC could effectively recognize chatter vibration at an early stage of chatter vibration,which saved valuable time for online chatter suppression.JIA GuangFei WU Bo HU YouMin XIE FengYun LIU Ao 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,11:3
5Tuning charge density of chimeric antigen receptor optimizes tonic signaling and CAR-T cell fitness显示文摘Tonic signaling of chimeric antigen receptor(CAR),i.e.,the spontaneous CAR activation in the absence of tumor antigen stimulation,is considered to be a pivotal event controlling CAR-T efficacy.However,the molecular mechanism underlying the spontaneous CAR signals remains elusive.Here,we unveil that positively charged patches(PCPs)on the surface of the CAR antigenbinding domain mediate CAR clustering and result in CAR tonic signaling.For CARs with high tonic signaling(e.g.,GD2.CAR and CSPG4.CAR),reducing PCPs on CARs or boosting ionic strength in the culture medium during ex vivo CAR-T cell expansion minimizes spontaneous CAR activation and alleviates CAR-T cell exhaustion.In contrast,introducing PCPs into the CAR with weak tonic signaling,such as CD19.CAR,results in improved in vivo persistence and superior antitumor function.These results demonstrate that CAR tonic signaling is induced and maintained by PCP-mediated CAR clustering.Notably,the mutations we generated to alter the PCPs maintain the antigen-binding affinity and specificity of the CAR.Therefore,our findings suggest that the rational tuning of PCPs to optimize tonic signaling and in vivo fitness of CAR-T cells is a promising design strategy for the nextgeneration CAR.Jian Chen Shizhen Qiu Wentao Li Kun Wang Yu Zhang Han Yang Baichuan Liu Guangfei Li Li Li Min Chen Junjie Lan Jiahua Niu Peijie He Lei Cheng Gaofeng Fan Xin Liu Xianmin Song Chenqi Xu Haitao Wu Haopeng Wang 2023Cell Research2023,33,5:2

10Moisture sorption and thermodynamic properties of Camellia oleifera seeds as influenced by oil content显示文摘Moisture sorption isotherms and thermodynamic properties of Camellia oleifera seeds as influenced by oil content were investigated.Moisture desorption and adsorption isotherms of Camellia oleifera seeds,kernels and shells from three varieties were determined using constant temperature and humidity chamber method at different temperatures(10°C,25°C,and 40°C)with water activity ranging from 0.20 to 0.90.Six selected mathematic models were employed to fit the experimental data.The Peleg model gave the best results for both seeds and kernels and Langmuir model was the best for shells.The difference of equilibrium moisture contents at the same water activities during desorption and adsorption indicated the occurrence of hysteresis of adsorption processes and the equilibrium moisture contents tended to decrease with the increasing oil content and temperature.The binding energy and average capacity per unit mass decreased with increasing temperature and oil content.The relationships between water activity and the logarithm of sorption activity showed the capillary porous body characteristics of the seeds.Guangfei Zhu Qi Jin Yanhong Liu Yawen Lin Jun Wang Xingyi Li 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1:1
11Sapphirine-Bearing Pelitic Granulite from Ailaoshan Orogen,West Yunnan,China: Metamorphic Conditions and Tectonic Setting显示文摘To reveal the petrological characteristics, metamorphic evolution histon and tectonic setting of the pelitic granulites from Ailaoshan Orogen, Uest Yunnan, China, a comprehensive study in mineral chemistry, petrogeochemistry and geochronology studies is presented in this paper. Two metamorphic stages of the granulites can be established:(1) the peak metamorphism recorded by the mineral assemblage of garnet, kyanite, K-feidspar and rutile, and the initial retrograde metamorphism shown by the mineral assemblage of garnet, sillimanite, sapphirine, spinel, K-feldspar, plagioclase and biotite;(2) the superim-posed metamorphism recorded by the mineral assemblage of biotite, muscovite, plagioclase, quartz and ilmenite. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating indicates that the protolith of the granulite was deposited after 337 Ma. The initial retrograde metamorphism occurred at P-T conditions of 8.6-12 kbar at 850-920℃ estimated by mineral assemblages, the low pressure limit of kyanite stability and GBPQ geothermobarometer in Indosinian (about 235 Ma), and the late superimposed metamorphism occurred at the P-T condition of 3.5-3.9 kbar at 572-576℃ estimated by GBPQ geothermobarometer since 33Ma. The first stage was related to the amalgamation of the South China and Indochina blocks during the Triassic, and the second stage was possibly related with the large scale sinistral slip-shearing since the Oligocene. It is inferred that the upper continental crust was suhducted/underthrusted to the lower continental crust (deeper than 30 km) and underwent granulite-facies metamorphism and then quickly exhumed to the middle-upper crust (10-12 km) and initial retrograde metamorphism occurred due to the collision of the Indochina and South China blocks during Indosinian, which was followed by superimposition of the second stage of metamorphism since the Oligocene.Cheng Wei Yuhao Zhao Luhua Zhu Xuexiang Qi Zhihui Cai Xufeng Liu Guangfei Ma 2019Journal of Earth Science2019,30,3:1

Their struc- tures were confirmed using 1H NMR, IR, elemental analyses, and X-ray crystallographic analyses. The photoisomeric properties in the solid state were studied under UV light irradiation and the photo- isomerization phenomena were interpreted by the double proton-transfer mechanism. 17High-performance liquid-phase catalytic purification of phosphine in tail gas using Pd(Ⅱ)/Cu(Ⅱ)composite显示文摘Pd/Cu liquid-phase composite was utilized as the catalyst in this study to remove PH_(3) at low temperatures.The anti-heterotoxicity of catalysts in the PH_(3) catalytic oxidation purification process was carefully explored and pioneered.The catalytic performance,thermodynamics,kinetics,and catalytic oxidation mechanism of Pd/Cu liquid-phase catalyst catalytic oxidation of PH_(3) were thoroughly investigated.The results showed that Pd/Cu has a superior catalytic effect on the removal of PH_(3) in the gas mixture under low temperature.With CO as the carrier gas,the removal efficiency of PH_(3) could be maintained at 100%for nearly 450 min,indicating that the Pd/Cu liquid phase catalyst has good resistance to heterotoxicity.According to the thermodynamic,kinetic,and related characterization results of the PH_(3) purification process,the kinetic region of the gas–liquid reaction of PH_(3) absorption by Pd/Cu solution was an interfacial reaction.Pd was the primary catalyst and Cu was the secondary catalyst,and the adsorption of PH_(3)was a primary reaction.PH_(3) was spontaneously oxidized to H_(3)PO_(4) in the Pd/Cu catalytic system during the removal process.Pd was regenerated by O_(2) and Cu,increasing the activity and stability of the Pd/Cu catalyst in the sustain and efficient purification of PH_(3) in tail gas.Chenyang Zhao Yinhan Cheng Guangfei Qu Yongheng Yuan Fenghui Wu Ye Liu Shan Liu Junyan Li Ping Ning 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,57,5:0
18Tribological properties of spherical and mesoporous NiAl particles as ionic liquid additives显示文摘In this study,spherical and mesoporous NiAl particles(abbreviated as sNiAl and mNiAl)were introduced as lubricant additives into two alkyl-imidazolium ionic liquids(ILs)(l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate(LB104)and l-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium hexafluorophosphate(LP104))to explore their tribological properties.The sNiAl and mNiAl particles were modified in-situ by anion and cation moieties of ILs through chemical interaction,thereby enhancing their dispersibility and stability in ILs.The mNiAl particles have better dispersibility than the sNiAl ones in ILs because of high specific surface area.LP104-modified sNiAl particles show better friction reduction and wear resistance,mainly relying on the synergy of the hybrid lubricant.These particles form a protective layer that prevents friction pairs from straight asperity contact and improves the tribological behaviors.Yao YAO Yi XU Xiaoqiang FAN Minhao ZHU Guangfei LIU 2020Friction2020,8,2:0
19Improved data-driven performance of Charpy impact toughness via literature-assisted production data in pipeline steel显示文摘Pipeline transportation is one of the most economical ways to transport crude oil and natural gas over long distances.High toughness is one of the important qualities of pipeline steel to ensure safe transportation,wherein a key factor characterizing toughness is Charpy impact toughness(CIT).In this work,according to the production line data provided by a steel mill and the experimental data collected in literature,two machine learning model construction strategies were proposed.One was based solely on the production line dataset,and the other was based on the production line dataset together with the literature dataset.In these two strategies,the random forest model displayed the best prediction results,the accuracy of strategy I was 0.58,and the accuracy of strategy II was 0.90,wherein literature data effectively improved the CIT prediction accuracy.Finally,an optimized CIT model based on machine learning algorithms was established.The proposed strategy of literature data-assisted production line data provides a new perspective for optimizing and predicting the performance of traditional structural materials.SHANG ChunLei WANG ChuanJun WU HongHui LIU WenYue CHEN YiMian PAN GuangFei WANG ShuiZe WU GuiLin GAO JunHeng ZHAO HaiTao ZHANG ChaoLei MAO XinPing 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,7:0
20Reductive transformation of p-nitrotoluene by a new iron-fly ash packing显示文摘A new iron-fly ash packing was studied for reductive transformation of p-nitrotoluene. The packing was made of iron, fly ash and kaolin with the mass ratio of 36:7:2. A reactor was designed to investigate the long-term performance of the packing. The results showed that the reduction of p-nitrotoluene increased with decreasing pH, because the reduction potential of reaction increased with the concentration of H+. The pH was one of the key factors impacting the reductive transformation of p-nitrotoluene. Comparing iron-activated carbon packing with the new iron-fly ash packing, the reduction efficiencies were respectively 76.61% and 75.36% after20 days. The reduction efficiency for both was around 50% at 40 days. It was evident that these two kinds of packing had no significant difference in their capability for p-nitrotoluene reductive transformation. Compared with iron-activated carbon, the new iron-fly ash packing had obvious advantages in terms of manufacturing costs and environmental pollution degradation.
