The recommendations of Chinese Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder society consensus on therapeutic management of Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a chronic, progressive and debilitating disease, which affects over 2.5 million people in China.PD is characterized clinically by resting tremor, muscular rigidity, bradykinesia and postural instability. As the disease progresses, additional complications can arise such as non-motor and neurobehavioral symptoms.Pharmacological treatment and surgical intervention for PD have been implemented in China.Until 10 years ago, there was lack of standardization for the management of PD in different regions and among different physicians, leading to different treatment levels in different regions and different physicians.Since then, the Chinese Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society have published three versions of guidelines for the management of PD in China,in 2006,2009 and 2014,respectively.Correspondingly,the overall level of treatment for PD in China improved. Objectives:To update the treatment guidelines based on current foreign and domestic practice guidelines and clinical evidence, and to improve the treatment options available to physicians in the management of PD.Summary:A variety of treatment recommendations in the treatment guidelines have been proposed, including physical activity and disease-modifying medication, which should be initiated at the early-stage of the disease. The principles of dosage titration should be followed to avoid acute adverse reactions to the drugs,to achieve a satisfactory clinical effect with a low dose and to reduce the incidence of long-term motor complications. Moreover, different treatment strategies should be considered at different stages of the disease.Importantly, treatment guidelines and personalized treatments should be valued equally.A set of treatment recommendations has been developed to assist physicians to improve and optimize clinical outcomes for patients with PD in China. | Shengdi Chen Piu Chan Shenggang Sun Haibo Chen Baorong Zhang Weidong Le Chunfeng Liu Guoguang Peng Beisha Tang Lijuan Wang Yan Cheng Ming Shao Zhenguo Liu Zhenfu Wang Xiaochun Chen Mingwei Wang Xinhua Wan Huifang Shang Yiming Liu Pingyi Xu Jian Wang Tao Feng Xianwen Chen Xingyue Hu Anmu Xie Qin Xiao | 2016 | Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1: | 23
Western medication plus Traditional Chinese Medicine preparations in patients with chronic heart failure:a prospective,single-blind,randomized,controlled,and multicenter clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the efficacy and safety in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) of Western medication plus Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) preparations.METHODS: This prospective, single-blind, randomized, controlled, and multicenter clinical trial began on September 17, 2008, and was completed on June 25, 2011. A total of 340 inpatients, aged 40-79 years, with exacerbating CHF from 10 hospitals were enrolled and randomly allocated within 24 h of admission. The trial included three intervention periods. During hospitalization, the control group received western medication for CHF and the treatment group received Danhong injection with Shenfu injection or Shenmai injection. After discharge, all patients were treated with Qiliqiangxin capsules and Buyiqiangxin tablets or a placebo for 6 months. After the 6-month intervention, both groups received only continuous western medication. The primary endpoint was all-cause mortality. The efficacy assessments were as follows: B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP), Lee's HF score, the 6-minute walking test(6 MWT), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), and the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ). The safety assessments were as follows: blood and urine routine examination, hepatic and renal function, electrolytes in blood and adverse events.RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the treatment group showed a 30.99% reduction in all-cause mortality and an improved survival rate. The treatment group showed greater improvement in 6 MWT(P = 0.02) than the control group on discharge, after 12-month follow-up, there was a time-group interaction for MLHFQ(P = 0.03). Incidence rate of adverse events and other relevant safety indexes were not statistically significant between the two groups.CONCLUSION: Western medication plus TCM treatment can increase 6-minute walking distance(improve exercise tolerance) and quality of life with heart failure patients. | Wang Xianliang Hou Yazhu Mao Jingyuan Zhao Yingqiang Niu Tianfu Yuan Ruyu Wang Yonggang Cui Jin-rong Shi Le Jia Xiuli Fan Ruihong Lin Qian Zhang Yan Li Zhijun Shang Hongcai Wang Baohe Wang Hongwu Wang Henghe Cui Xiaolei Soh Shanbin Ruan Jishou Zhang Boli | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,6: | 15

Fluorescent Organohydrogel with Thermal-Induced Color Change for Anti-counterfeiting显示文摘Smart fluorescent patterns enable dynamic color variation under external stimuli, showing a much higher security level in the field of anti-counterfeiting.However,there is still lacking of a simple and convenient way to achieve dynamic fluorescence changes.Herein,a fluorescent organohydrogel made up of a poly(N,/N-dimethylacrylamide-co-isopropylacrylamide)(p(DMA-NIPAM))hydrogel network and a polyflauryl methacrylate)(PLMA)organogel network was fabricated via a two-step interpenetrating technique. The former network bears naphthalimide moieties(DEAN,green fluorescent monomer)and the later contains 6-acrylamidopicolinic acid(6APA,fluorescent ligand),leading to emitting green fluorescence. When Eu^(3+) was introduced and coordinated with 6APA,the organohydrogel displays red fluorescence, which can further emit yellow after applying thermal stimulus.Furthermore,by adjusting the proportion of comonomers, various organohydrogels can be obtained, which can be programmed and act as an effective platform for the encryption and decryption of secret information. | Xiaoxia Le Hui Shang Shirong Gu Guangqiang Yin Fuqing Shan Danyang Li Tao Chen 无 | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,3: | 3

Significantly influenced photocatalytic performance for H_(2)O_(2)generation over ultrathin g-C_(3)N_(4)through regulating the migration orientation of photogenerated charge carriers显示文摘H_(2)O_(2)has been widely applied in the fields of chemical synthesis, medical sterilization, pollutant removal, etc.,due to its strong oxidizing property and the avoidable secondary pollution.Despite of the enhanced performance for H_(2)O_(2)generation over g-C_(3)N_(4)semiconductors through promoting the separation of photo-generated charge carriers, the effect of migration orientation of charge carriers is still ambiguous. For this emotion, surface modification of g-C_(3)N_(4)was employed to adjust the migration orientation of charge carriers,in order to investigate systematically its effect on the performance of H_(2)O_(2)generation.It was found that ultrathin g-C_(3)N_(4)(UCN)modified by boron nitride(BN),as an effective hole-attract agent, demonstrated a significantly enhanced performance.Particularly, for the optimum UCN/BN-40%catalyst,4.0-fold higher yield of H_(2)O_(2)was obtained in comparison with the pristine UCN.As comparison,UCN modified by carbon dust demonstrated a completely opposite tendency. The remarkably improved performance over UCN/BN was ascribed to the fact that more photo-generated electrons were remained inside of triazine structure of g-C_(3)N_(4),leading to the formation of larger amount of 1,4-endoxide.It is anticipated that our work could provide new insights for the design of photocatalyst with significantly improved performance for H_(2)O_(2)generation. | Xinxia He Hongyan Shang Chuan Wang Le Chen Zehan Gong Jun Wang Shilin Zhao Jun Ma | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11: | 2
Effects of vertical electric field and compressive strain on electronic properties of bilayer ZrS2显示文摘Using first-principles calculations, including Grimme D2 method for van der Waals interactions,we investigate the tuning electronic properties of bilayer zirconium disulfides(ZrS_2/ subjected to vertical electric field and normal compressive strain. The band gap of ZrS_2 bilayer can be flexibly tuned by vertical external electric field.Due to the Stark effect,at critical electric fields about 1.4 V/?,semiconducting-metallic transition presents. In addition, our results also demonstrated that the compressive strain has an important impact on the electronic properties of ZrS_2 bilayer sheet. The widely tunable band gaps confirm possibilities for its applications in electronics and optoelectronics. | Jimin Shang Le Huang Zhongming Wei | 2017 | Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,3: | 2

Genome size evolution of the extant lycophytes and ferns显示文摘Ferns and lycophytes have remarkably large genomes. However, little is known about how their genome size evolved in fern lineages. To explore the origins and evolution of chromosome numbers and genome size in ferns,we used flow cytometry to measure the genomes of 240 species(255 samples)of extant ferns and lycophytes comprising 27 families and 72 genera,of which 228 species(242 samples)represent new reports. We analyzed correlations among genome size, spore size, chromosomal features, phylogeny, and habitat type preference within a phylogenetic framework. We also applied ANOVA and multinomial logistic regression analysis to preference of habitat type and genome size.Using the phylogeny,we conducted ancestral character reconstruction for habitat types and tested whether genome size changes simultaneously with shifts in habitat preference. We found that 2 C values had weak phylogenetic signal, whereas the base number of chromosomes(x)had a strong phylogenetic signal.Furthermore, our analyses revealed a positive correlation between genome size and chromosome traits, indicating that the base number of chromosomes(x),chromosome size, and polyploidization may be primary contributors to genome expansion in ferns and lycophytes.Genome sizes in different habitat types varied significantly and were significantly correlated with habitat types;specifically, multinomial logistic regression indicated that species with larger 2 C values were more likely to be epiphytes.Terrestrial habitat is inferred to be ancestral for both extant ferns and lycophytes, whereas transitions to other habitat types occurred as the major clades emerged.Shifts in habitat types appear be followed by periods of genomic stability.Based on these results,we inferred that habitat type changes and multiple whole-genome duplications have contributed to the formation of large genomes of ferns and their allies during their evolutionary history. | Fa-Guo Wang Ai-Hua Wang Cheng-Ke Bai Dong-Mei Jin Li-Yun Nie AJ Harris Le Che Juan-JuanWang Shi-Yu Li Lei Xu Hui Shen Yu-Feng Gu Hui Shang Lei Duan Xian-Chun Zhang Hong-Feng Chen Yue-Hong Yan | 2022 | Plant Diversity2022,44,2: | 0
Preparation of polydopamine based redox-sensitive magnetic nanoparticles for doxorubicin delivery and MRI detection显示文摘To improve the water-dispersity of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(SPIONs),a novel polydopamine based redox-sensitive copolymer modified SPIONs were prepared for the biomedical application to deliver doxorubicin(DOX)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)detection. The major components of this nanoparticle include SPIONs and the redox-sensitive polydopamine(rPDA)crosslinked copolymer, where N,N-Bis(acryloyl)cystamine served as cross-linker,dopamine methacrylamide and a long-chain polyethylene glyco methyl ether methacrylate acted as comonomers. Here the rPDA@SPIONs were formed by the ligand exchange reaction of dopamine moiety with the oleic acid layer capped on the surface of SPIONs,and the inner area of the nanoparticles formed a reservoir for DOX,while the hydrophilic PEG moiety helped the nanoparticles well-dispersible in aqueous solution. The DOX-loaded rPDA@SPIONs demonstrated a high drug loading efficiency of 857μg DOX per mg iron, and a strong T2 relaxivity of 123 mM-1•S^(-1)for MRI.The drug release analysis of drug-loaded nanoparticles showed a sustained and high cumulative drug release in GSH up to 73%within 48 h,rather than the relatively low release rate of 37%in PBS(pH 7.4)without GSH.All the results showed that the designed magnetic nanoparticle may be a promising vehicle for anticancer drug delivery with stimuli-triggered drug release behavior, and also a foundation for building smart theranostic formulations for efficient detection through MRI. | Le Shang Qiuyue Wang Kanglong Chen Jing Qu Jian-bin Luo Qing-han Zhou | 2017 | Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2017,2,2: | 0
Enhanced polysulfide redox kinetics by niobium oxynitrides via insitu adsorptive and catalytic effect in wide temperature range显示文摘The development of Li-S batteries(LSBs)is hindered by the low utilization of S species and sluggish redox reaction kinetics.Polar metal oxides always possess high adsorption to polar S species, while conductive metal nitrides show fast electron transport and ensure fast redox reaction of S species. The combination merits of metal oxides and metal nitrides in one provide an effective strategy to improve the electrochemical performance of LSBs.In this work, defect design of niobium oxynitrides highly dispersed on graphene(NbON-G)is evaluated as effective trapper and catalyst for S species.Owning to the effective structural merits including enriched active sites, alleviated volume variation, defect modulated electronic property, and in-situ chemisorption and catalytic conversion of soluble lithium polysulfides(LiPSs),the LSBs with NbON-G modified separator show remarkably enhanced performance compared to NbN-G and Nb_(2)O_(5)-G.Surprisingly,even at low temperature of−40°C,the LSBs with NbON-G can operate for 1,000 cycles with 0.04%capacity decay per cycle(Rate:2 C). | Benben Wei Chaoqun Shang Qiao Cu Le Hu Xuelian Fu Guofu Zhou Xin Wang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 0
Assessment of performance for a key indicator of One Health:evidence based on One Health index for zoonoses in Sub-Saharan Africa显示文摘Background:Zoonoses are public health threats that cause severe damage worldwide.Zoonoses constitute a key indicator of One Health(OH)and the OH approach is being applied for zoonosis control programmes of zoonotic diseases. In a very recent study,we developed an evaluation system for OH performance through the global OH index(GOHI).This study applied the GOHI to evaluate OH performance for zoonoses in sub-Saharan Africa. Methods:The framework for the OH index on zoonoses(OHIZ)was constructed including five indicators,15 subindicators and 28 datasets.Publicly available data were referenced to generate the OHIZ database which included both qualitative and quantitative indicators for all sub-Sahara African countries(n=48).The GOHI algorithm was used to estimate scores for OHIZ.Indicator weights were calculated by adopting the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process. Results:Overall, five indicators associated with weights were generated as follows:source of infection(23.70%),route of transmission(25.31%),targeted population(19.09%),capacity building(16.77%),and outcomes/case studies(15.13%).Following the indicators,a total of 37 sub-Sahara African countries aligned with OHIZ validation, while 11 territories were excluded for unfit or missing data. The OHIZ average score of sub-Saharan Africa was estimated at 53.67/100.The highest score was 71.99 from South Africa, while the lowest score was 40.51 from Benin. It is also worth mentioning that Sub-Sahara African countries had high performance in many subindicators associated with zoonoses,e.g.,surveillance and response, vector and reservoir interventions, and natural protected areas, which suggests that this region had a certain capacity in control and prevention or responses to zoonotic events. Conclusions:This study reveals that it is possible to perform OH evaluation for zoonoses in sub-Saharan Africa by OHIZ.Findings from this study provide preliminary research information in advancing knowledge of the evidenced risks to strengthen strategies for effective control of zoonoses and to support the prevention of zoonotic events. | Han‑Qing Zhao Si‑Wei Fei Jing‑Xian Yin Qin Li Tian‑Ge Jiang Zhao‑Yu Guo Jing‑Bo Xue Le‑Fei Han Xiao‑Xi Zhang Shang Xia Yi Zhang Xiao‑Kui Guo Kokouvi Kassegne | 2022 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,5: | 0
Excitation-wavelength-dependent fluorescent organohydrogel for dynamic information anti-counterfeiting显示文摘Anti-counterfeiting labels with various fluorescent colors are of great importance in information encryption-decryption,but are still limited to static information display. Therefore,it is urgent to develop new materials and encryption-decryption logic for improving the security level of secret information. In this study,an organohydrogel made up of poly(N,N-dimethylacrylamide)(pDMA)hydrogel network and polyoctadecyl methacrylate(pSMA)organogel network that copolymerized with two fluorophores,6-acrylamidopicolinic acid moieties(6APA,fluorescent ligand)and spiropyran units(SPMA,photochromic monomer),was prepared by a two-step interpenetrating method. As UV light of 365nm and 254nm can both cleave C_(spiro)-O bonds of SPMA,and the green fluorescence of 6APA-Tb^(3+) can only be excited by 254nm light, the organohydrogel displays yellow and red under the irradiation of 254nm and 365 nm,respectively. In addition to wavelength selectivity, these two fluorophores are thermal-responsive,leading to the fluorescence variation of the organohydrogel during heating process. As a result, secret information loaded on the organohydrogel can be decrypted by the irradiation of UV light, and the authenticity of the information can be further identified by thermal stimulation. Our fluorescent organohydrogel can act as an effective anti-counterfeiting label to improve the information security and protect the information from being cracked. | Dong Guo Xiaoxia Le Hui Shang Fuqing Shan Danyang Li Chunfa Ouyang Tao Chen | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11: | 0

| 20 | Decline in subarachnoid haemorrhage volumes associated with the first wave of the COVID- 19 pandemic显示文摘Background During the COVID-19 pandemic, decreased volumes of stroke admissions and mechanical thrombectomy were reported. The study’s objective was to examine whether subarachnoid haemorrhage(SAH)hospitalisations and ruptured aneurysm coiling interventions demonstrated similar declines. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional,retrospective,observational study across 6 continents,37 countries and 140 comprehensive stroke centres.Patients with the diagnosis of SAH,aneurysmal SAH,ruptured aneurysm coiling interventions and COVID-19 were identified by prospective aneurysm databases or by International Classification of Diseases,10th Revision, codes. The 3-month cumulative volume, monthly volumes for SAH hospitalisations and ruptured aneurysm coiling procedures were compared for the period before(1 year and immediately before)and during the pandemic, defined as 1 March-31 May 2020.The prior 1-year control period(1 March-31 May 2019)was obtained to account for seasonal variation.Findings There was a significant decline in SAH hospitalisations, with 2044 admissions in the 3 months immediately before and 1585 admissions during the pandemic, representing a relative decline of 22.5%(95%CI−24.3%to−20.7%,p<0.0001).Embolisation of ruptured aneurysms declined with 1170-1035 procedures, respectively, representing an 11.5%(95%CI−13.5%to−9.8%,p=0.002)relative drop.Subgroup analysis was noted for aneurysmal SAH hospitalisation decline from 834 to 626 hospitalisations,a 24.9%relative decline(95%CI−28.0%to−22.1%,p<0.0001).A relative increase in ruptured aneurysm coiling was noted in low coiling volume hospitals of 41.1%(95%CI 32.3%to 50.6%,p=0.008)despite a decrease in SAH admissions in this tertile.Interpretation There was a relative decrease in the volume of SAH hospitalisations, aneurysmal SAH hospitalisations and ruptured aneurysm embolisations during the COVID-19 pandemic. These findings in SAH are consistent with a decrease in other emergencies, such as stroke and myocardial infarction. | Thanh N Nguyen Diogo C Haussen Muhammad M Qureshi Hiroshi
