| 2 | Whole exome sequencing identifies an AMBN missense mutation causing severe autosomal-dominant amelogenesis imperfecta and dentin disorders显示文摘Tooth development is a complex process that involves precise and time-dependent orchestration of multiple genetic, molecular,and cellular interactions. Ameloblastin(AMBN, also named 'amelin' or 'sheathlin') is the second most abundant enamel matrix protein known to have a key role in amelogenesis. Amelogenesis imperfecta(AI [MIM: 104500]) refers to a genetically and phenotypically heterogeneous group of conditions characterized by inherited developmental enamel defects. The hereditary dentin disorders comprise a variety of autosomal-dominant genetic symptoms characterized by abnormal dentin structure affecting either the primary or both the primary and secondary teeth. The vital role of Ambn in amelogenesis has been confirmed experimentally using mouse models. Only two cases have been reported of mutations of AMBN associated with non-syndromic human AI. However, no AMBN missense mutations have been reported to be associated with both human AI and dentin disorders.We recruited one kindred with autosomal-dominant amelogenesis imperfecta(ADAI) and dentinogenesis imperfecta/dysplasia characterized by generalized severe enamel and dentin defects. Whole exome sequencing of the proband identified a novel heterozygous C-T point mutation at nucleotide position 1069 of the AMBN gene, causing a Pro to Ser mutation at the conserved amino acid position 357 of the protein. Exfoliated third molar teeth from the affected family members were found to have enamel and dentin of lower mineral density than control teeth, with thinner and easily fractured enamel, short and thick roots, and pulp obliteration. | 8 | Geochronology,Geochemistry and Petrogenesis of the Bangbule Quartz Porphyry:Implications for Metallogenesis显示文摘The Bangbule skarn lead-zinc(Pb-Zn)deposit(>1 Mt Zn+Pb)is located in the western Nyainqentanglha polymetallic metallogenetic belt,central Tibet.Lenticular orebodies are all hosted in skarn and developed in the contact zone between the quartz porphyry and carbonate strata of the mid Paleozoic Middle to Upper Chaguoluoma Formation as well as in carbonate and sandstone beds of the Upper Paleozoic Laga Formation.As a newly discovered skarn deposit,the geological background and metallogenesis of this deposit remain poorly understood.Detailed petrological,geochemical and geochronological data of the ore-related quartz porphyry,helps constrain the mineralization age and contributes to discussion on the ore genesis of the Bangbule deposit.Both endoskarn and exoskarn are identified in the Bangbule deposit.From quartz porphyry to carbonate formation,the exoskarn is zoned from proximal garnet skarn to distal pyroxene skarn.Zircon U-Pb dating results show that the quartz porphyry formed at 73.9±0.8 Ma.Geochemical analysis results show that the quartz porphyry has high contents of SiO_(2)(71.40–74.94 wt%)and K_(2)O+Na_(2)O(3.76–8.46 wt%)with A/CNK values of 0.69 to 1.06.Besides,the quartz porphyry is enriched in large ion lithophile elements(LILEs)and light rare earth elements(LREEs)and have lowεNd(t)(from-8.25 to-8.19)and high initial(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i values(0.713611–0.714478).Major,trace elements and whole-rock F concentration analysis results from the endoskarn samples show higher TFe_(2)O_(3),MgO,CaO,Pb+Zn,W,Sn,Mo and F etc.,and lower alkalis(K_(2)O,Na_(2)O,Sr and Ba)than those of fresh quartz porphyry,indicating that the early ore-forming fluids were an Ca-Fe-F-enriched fluid.Massive ore in the proximal skarn might be related to the high F content in the magma,which lowered the solidus temperature of the quartz porphyry magma and caused a lower temperature of the ore-forming fluids,as well as facilitating the precipitation of sphalerite and galena.Based on the geochemical characteristics presented in this study,we propose that the ore-related quartz porphyry was formed by partial melting of crust materials with some juvenile crustal component input.The partial melting of the middle-upper crust after the initial enrichment of lead and zinc elements are important for the formation of Pb-Zn deposits.The case study of the Bangbule deposit has proven that there is still a crust-derived magmatic source region in the western segment of the central Lhasa terrane.Therefore,there is still great potential for Pb-Zn mineralization and Pb-Zn exploration. | HE Chuankai WANG Yong WANG Haiyong TANG Juxing YAN Penggang WANG Yongqiang FU Xuelian FENG Yipeng | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,3: | 0 |

| 10 | Decorative Wood Fiber/High-Density Polyethylene Composite with Canvas or Polyester Fabric显示文摘Wood-plastic composite is an environmentally friendly material,due to its use of recycled thermoplastics and plant fibers.However,its surface lacks attractive aesthetic qualities.In this paper,a method of decorating wood fiber/high-density polyethylene(WF/HDPE)without adding adhesive was explored.Canvas or polyester fabrics were selected as the surface decoration materials.The influence of hot-pressing temperature and WF/HDPE ratio on the adhesion was studied.The surface bonding strength,water resistance,and surface color were evaluated,and observation within the infrared spectrum and under scanning electron microscopy was used to analyze the bonding process.The results showed that the fabric and WF/HDPE substrate could be closely laminated together depending on the HDPE layer accumulated on the WF/HDPE surface.The molten HDPE matrix penetrates canvas more easily than polyester fabric,and the canvasveneered composite shows a greater bonding strength than does the polyester fabric-veneered composite.A higher proportion of the thermoplastic component in the substrate improved the bonding.When the hot-pressing temperature exceeded 160°C,the fabric-veneered WF/HDPE panels had greater water resistance,although the canvas fabric changed more obviously in terms of fiber shape and color,compared with the polyester fabric.For the canvas fabric,140°C–160°C was a suitable hot-pressing temperature,whereas 160°C–180°C was more suitable for polyester fabric.The proportion of the thermoplastic component in the composite should be not less than 30%to achieve adequate bonding strength. | Jialin Lv Rao Fu Yinan Liu Xuelian Zhou Weihong Wang Pengbo Xie Tingwei Hu | 2020 | Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,8: | 0 |
| 11 | Thermal History of the Naruo Porphyry Deposit in the Duolong Ore District,Western Tibet:Evidence from U-Pb,^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar and(U-Th)/He Thermochronology显示文摘The Naruo porphyry copper deposit containing more than 2 Mt of copper is located in the Duolong ore district in the west of the Bangongco–Nujiang belt in central Tibet.New zircon U-Pb,biotite^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar,zircon(U-Th)/He ages,published age data together with thermal modeling were presented in this paper to investigate the thermal history of Naruo deposit.Thermal modeling reveals a prolonged magmatic-hydrothermal evolution firstly cooling from~700℃to~350℃at 120 Ma,then cooling to 230℃at 106 Ma and maintaining at 200℃from 106 to 90 Ma which is attributed to multiple magmatic events and thermal effect of strike-slip fault.Affected by thrust nappe structure,the sample was consistent with 120℃from 70 to 63 Ma.The Naruo deposit started to experience exhumation at a rate of~0.07 km/Myr since 60 Ma which is related to India-Asia collision.The prolonged magmatic-hydrothermal evolution process might have important influence on the Naruo deposit.The ore-related intrusions preserved in the foot walls of strike-slip fault and thrust nappe structure are the objects of future exploration in the Duolong ore district. | YANG Huanhuan FANG Xiang SONG Yang LIN Bin LI Yanbo WANG Qin LIU Zhibo HE Long ZHANG Qi FU Xuelian | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,6: | 0 |
