1The Chrysanthemum nankingense Genome Provides Insights into the Evolution and Diversification of Chrysanthemum Flowers and Medicinal Traits显示文摘The Asteraceae (Compositae),a large plant family of approximately 24 000-35 000 species,accounts for^10% of all angiosperm species and contributes a lot to plant diversity.The most representative members of the Asteraceae are the economically important chrysanthemums (Chrysanthemum L.)that diversified through reticulate evolution.Biodiversity is typically created by multiple evolutionary mechanisms such as wholegenome duplication 0NGD)or polyploidization and locally repetitive genome expansion.However,the lack of genomic data from chrysanthemum species has prevented an in-depth analysis of the evolutionary mechanisms involved in their diversification.Here,we used Oxford Nanopore long-read technologyto sequence the diploid Chrysanthemum nankingense genome,which represents one of the progenitor genomes of domesticated chrysanthemums.Our analysis revealed that the evolution of the C.nankingense genome was driven by bursts of repetitive element expansion and WGD events including a recentWGD that distinguishes chrysanthemum from sunflower,which diverged from chrysanthemum approximately 38.8 million years ago.Variations of ornamental and medicinal traits in chrysanthemums are linked to the expansion of candidate gene families by duplication events including paralogous gene duplication.Collectively,our study of the assembled reference genome offers new knowledge and resources to dissect the history and pattern of evolution and diversification of chrysanthemum plants,and also to accelerate their breeding and improvement.Chi Song Yifei Liu Aiping Song Gangqiang Dong Hongbo Zhao Wei Sun Shyam Ramakrishnan Ying Wang Shuaibin Wang Tingzhao Li Yan Niu Jiafu Jiang Bin Dong Ye Xia Sumei Chen Zhigang Hu Fadi Chen Shilin Chen 2018Molecular Plant2018,11,12:24
2Expression, characterization, and antimicrobial ability of T4 lysozyme from methylotrophic yeast Hansenula polymorpha A16显示文摘Lysozyme is an enzyme that is essential for protection against bacterial infections.In this study,a T4 lysozyme gene was cloned into the yeast expression vector pPIC9K under the control of the Pichia pastoris glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase promoter (pGAP).A Hansenula polymorpha-derived ribosomal DNA (rDNA)-targeting element was inserted into the expression vector and was critical for stable DNA integration into the H.polymorpha chromosome.Recombinant T4 lysozyme was successfully expressed in the yeast H.polymorpha A16;0.49 g L-1 secreted recombinant T4 lysozyme was obtained 72 h after incubation in culture broth that had an initial pH of 6.0.Recombinant T4 lysozyme showed lytic activity against the cell walls of the gram positive bacteria,Micrococcus lysodeikticus,and the gram negative bacteria Xanthomonas campestris pv.malvacearum and Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae.The zone of inhibition assay was used to evaluate antimicrobial activity.Mass spectrometry showed the N-terminal sequence of recombinant T4 lysozyme was identical to that of the native enzyme.SDS-PAGE indicated that the molecular mass of recombinant T4 lysozyme was 18.7 kD which corresponds to a monomer of the native enzyme.SDS-PAGE without 0.2 mol L-1 dithiothreitol treatment detected two bands (15 and 31 kD) suggesting that some recombinant T4 lysozyme formed interand intra-molecular disulfide bonds which resulted in loss of enzyme activity.WANG Nan WANG YueJu LI GangQiang SUN Ning LIU DeHu 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,6:3
3Libration and end body swing stabilization of a parallel partial space elevator system显示文摘This paper studies the libration and stabilization of a parallel partial space elevator system in circular orbits. The system is made up of two paralleled partial space elevators, each of which consists of one main satellite, one end body and a climber moving along the tether between them.The libration characteristics of the elevator are studied through numerical analysis by a new dynamic model, and a novel control strategy is proposed to stabilize the swing of the end body by projecting the climber speeds only. Optimal control method is used to implement the new control strategy in the case where the climbers move in opposite direction. 9Analysis on Relationship between Adjustment of Agricultural Structure and Urbanization Development显示文摘As a part of certain region,agricultural development has inevitable connection with regional urbanization,and they are highly heterogeneous and complementary in space. Their internal relationship is manifested as agricultural structure suits demand of urbanization development through adjustment in the process of urbanization,while urbanization is based on development of regional agriculture. From history of world agriculture and urbanization development,agriculture firstly provides primitive accumulation for urbanization development,and drives regional urbanization through promoting agricultural development. When urbanization develops to certain stage,urbanization accumulation increases and reaches the goal of ' boosting urbanization through agriculture'. If urbanization develops slowly,agricultural adjustment will lack motive force. On the contrary,weak agricultural development will lead to stagnation of urbanization. 11Evaluation on Cultivated Land Resource Ecological Service Value in Wuhan Metropolitan Area显示文摘The land ecosystem service function value contains the gas regulating function value, air purification function value, water conservation value, land conservation value, soil nutrient conservation value and maintain biodiversity value. Based on the method of market value and the data of Hubei Statistical yearbook, cultivated land resources of ecosystem service function value is 730 038.69 Million in 2007-2009, and 714 774.99 Million in 2010-2012 in Wuhan Metropolitan Area. After three years of development, Wuhan Metropolitan Area of ecological value of cultivated land has increased by about 3.97%. From the point of each composition, the importance of gas regulating function of cultivated land resources and water conservation function is the forefront. From the point of spatial distribution, the highest of annual average value of the cultivated land ecological was Huanggang(1.725 billion yuan), the lowest was Ezhou(217.868 6 million yuan) in 2010-2012. 12Expression, Characterization and Antimicrobial Ability of a Variant T4 Lysozyme in Pichia pastoris显示文摘T4 lysozyme was engineered with disulfide bonds and expressed in Pichia pastoris. The secreted proteins were purified and made into powder by lyophilization. Recombinant protein purity was more than 70% measured by HPLC. The lytic activity of variant T4-lysozyme was measured by the lysis of the cell wall of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae, X. oryzae pv. oryzicola, Ralstonia solanacearum comb.nov, Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis, X. campestris pv. malvacearum, Fusarium oxysporium sp. vasinfectum, Verticillium dahliae kleb. Inhibition zone assay showed that variant T4 lysozyme significantly inhibited X. o. oryzicola and X. c. malvacearum. 16Community Detection in Blockchain Social Networks显示文摘In this work,we consider community detection in blockchain networks.We specifically take the Bitcoin network and Ethereum network as two examples,where community detection serves in different ways.For the Bitcoin network,we modify the traditional community detection method and apply it to the transaction social network to cluster users with similar characteristics.For the Ethereum network,on the other hand,we define a bipartite social graph based on the smart contract transactions.A novel community detection algorithm which is designed for low-rank signals on graph can help find users’communities based on user-token subscription.Based on these results,two strategies are devised to deliver on-chain advertisements to those users in the same community.We implement the proposed algorithms on real data.By adopting the modified clustering algorithm,the community results in the Bitcoin network are basically consistent with the ground-truth of the betting site community which has been announced to the public.Meanwhile,we run the proposed strategy on real Ethereum data,visualize the results and implement an advertisement delivery on the Ropsten test net.Sissi Xiaoxiao Wu Zixian Wu Shihui Chen Gangqiang Li Shengli Zhang 2021Journal of Communications and Information Networks2021,6,1:0
17Pore structure of porous Mg-1Mn-xZn alloy fabricated by metal–gas eutectic unidirectional solidification显示文摘Lotus-type porous Mg-1 wt.% Mn-xZn(x = 0 wt.%, 1 wt.% and 2 wt.%) alloys were fabricated by metal–gas eutectic unidirectional solidification(the Gasar method). Effects of Zn addition and the fabrication process on the porosity, pore diameter and microstructure of the porous Mg alloys were investigated. Zn addition from 0 wt.% to 1 wt.% and 2 wt.% to the Mg-1 wt.% Mn alloy decreased the porosity from41.2% to 36.9% and 35.8%, respectively, with the same preparation processing. In the lotus-type porous Mg-1 wt.%Mn-1 wt.%Zn alloy, the porosities and average pore diameters changed with hydrogen pressures from 0.1 to 0.6 MPa. Conical areas that were rich in elemental Zn existed below the directional pores, and precipitates were also found in conical areas. Homogeneous directional pores existed in the lower portion of the ingot, and coarser directional pores and finer non-directional pores formed in the upper part. A theoretical model of the change in porosity with hydrogen pressure agreed well with the calculated porosities in the steady bubble growing area. The compressive strength of Mg-1 wt.Mn-Zn alloys can be increased by around 20 MPa through rising Zinc content from 1 wt.% to 2 wt.%, which basically linearly decline with the increasing of porosity. 18Parameter influence on electron collection efficiency of a bare electrodynamic tether显示文摘This study develops a coupled multiphysics finite element method for the dynamic analysis of a bare flexible electrodynamic tether. Contrary to the existing methods, the new method discretizes and solves the orbital motion limited equation and the dynamic equation of an elastic flexible tether simultaneously.First, the new method is verified via comparison with the existing methods in a straight tether situation.Second, the number of tether elements, tether bending deformation, and two design parameters at the cathodic end affecting the electrical current are investigated. It is determined that the tether bending deformation and the two parameters i.e., the impedance ZT and ΦPWhave a significant impact on the electron collection efficiency of an electrodynamic tether system.
