1Emergence and prevalence of naturally occurring lower virulent African swine fever viruses in domestic pigs in China in 2020显示文摘African swine fever virus(ASFV)has been circulating in China for more than two years,and it is not clear whether the biological properties of the virus have changed.Here,we report on our surveillance of ASFVs in seven provinces of China,from June to December,2020.A total of 22 viruses were isolated and characterized as genotype II ASFVs,with mutations,deletions,insertions,or short-fragment replacement occurring in all isolates compared with Pig/HLJ/2018(HLJ/18),the earliest isolate in China.Eleven isolates had four different types of natural mutations or deletion in the EP402R gene and displayed a nonhemadsorbing(non-HAD)phenotype.Four isolates were tested for virulence in pigs;two were found to be as highly lethal as HLJ/18.However,two non-HAD isolates showed lower virulence but were highly transmissible;infection with 106 TCID50 dose was partially lethal and caused acute or sub-acute disease,whereas 103 TCID50 dose caused non-lethal,sub-acute or chronic disease,and persistent infection.The emergence of lower virulent natural mutants brings greater difficulty to the early diagnosis of ASF and creates new challenges for ASFV control.Encheng Sun Zhenjiang Zhang Zilong Wang Xijun He Xianfeng Zhang Lulu Wang Wenqing Wang Lianyu Huang Fei Xi Haoyue Huangfu Ghebremedhin Tsegay Hong Huo Jianhong Sun Zhijun Tian Wei Xia Xuewu Yu Fang Li Renqiang Liu Yuntao Guan Dongming Zhao Zhigao Bu 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,5:46

3Treatment of multiple sclerosis by transplantation of neural stem cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells显示文摘Multiple sclerosis(MS) is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system(CNS), with focal T lymphocytic infiltration and damage of myelin and axons. The underlying mechanism of pathogenesis remains unclear and there are currently no effective treatments. The development of neural stem cell(NSC) transplantation provides a promising strategy to treat neurodegenerative disease. However, the limited availability of NSCs prevents their application in neural disease therapy. In this study, we generated NSCs from induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs) and transplanted these cells into mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE), a model of MS. The results showed that transplantation of iPSC-derived NSCs dramatically reduced T cell infiltration and ameliorated white matter damage in the treated EAE mice. Correspondingly, the disease symptom score was greatly decreased, and motor ability was dramatically rescued in the iPSC-NSC-treated EAE mice, indicating the effectiveness of using iPSC-NSCs to treat MS. 4Partial Discharge Measurement and Analysis in High Voltage IGBT Modules Under DC Voltage显示文摘Insulation performance of high voltage IGBT modules is one of the key attributes in power system applications.However,the existing standards of IGBT devices and research on the evaluation of insulation performance of high voltage IGBT modules are insufficient;for example,partial discharge resistance under DC voltage blocking condition is not considered.In this paper,a new test was proposed to allow the measurement of partial discharges in all the components of IGBT modules under DC voltage.The topology of the measuring circuit is arranged in the polarity discrimination way to exclude the interference,and the voltage and discharge current waveforms during the partial discharge process are measured by the wideband time domain measurement technique.According to the proposed test,the discharge phenomenon of the IGBT modules below the rating voltage were detected.A comprehensive waveform analysis on the voltage and discharge current was performed,and the influence of the applied voltage on the waveform parameters was obtained.The waveform parameters are influenced by the applied voltage and insulation structure,which enables the discrimination of the causes of the observed partial discharge in the IGBT module under DC voltage by the waveform analysis technique.Based on the waveform analysis technique,the types and causes of the observed partial discharges were discussed and inferred,and the correctness of the inference was further verified by observation.The proposed test and waveform analysis technique provide the possibility to evaluate and distinguish partial discharges in the high voltage IGBT module under DC voltage,which may be helpful to insulation performance evaluation and insulation defect diagnosis in high voltage IGBT module.Pengyu Fu Zhibin Zhao Xiang Cui Teng Wen Haoyu Wang Xuebao Li Peng Zhang 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,4:9
5Characterizing the antibiotic resistance genes in a river catchment: Influence of anthropogenic activities显示文摘Previous studies on environmental antibiotics resistance genes(ARGs) have focused on the pollution sources such as wastewater treatment plants, aquaculture and livestock farms,etc. Few of them had addressed this issue in a regional scale such as river catchment. Hence,the occurrence and abundances of 23 ARGs were investigated in surface water samples collected from 38 sites which located from the river source to estuary of the Beijiang River.Among them, 11 ARGs were frequently detected in this region and 5 ARGs(sul I, sul II, tet B,tet C, and tet W) were selected for their distribution pattern analysis. The abundances of the selected ARGs were higher in the upstream(8.70 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA) and downstream areas(3.17 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA) than those in the midstream areas(1.23 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA), which was positively correlated to the population density and number of pollution sources. Pollution sources of ARGs along the Beijiang River not only had a great impact on the abundances and diversity, but also on the distribution of specific ARGs in the water samples. Both sul I and sul II were likely originated from aquaculture farms and animal farms,tet W gene was possibly associated with the mining/metal melting industry and the electric waste disposal and tet C gene was commonly found in the area with multiple pollution sources.However, the abundance of tet B was not particularly related to anthropogenic impacts. 6An isoflavone derivative potently inhibits the angiogenesis and progression of triple-negative breast cancer by targeting the MTA2/SerRS/VEGFA pathway显示文摘Objective:Angiogenesis plays a vital role in tumor growth and metastasis.Here,we aimed to find novel efficient antiangiogenic molecules targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA)at the transcriptional level to treat triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).Methods:We used a cell-based seryl tRNA synthetase(SerRS)promoter-driven dual-luciferase reporter system to screen an in-house library of 384 naturally occurring small molecules and their derivatives to find candidate molecules that could upregulate the expression of SerRS,a potent transcriptional repressor of VEGFA.The levels of SerRS and VEGFA were examined by quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR),western blotting,and/or ELISAs in TNBC cells after candidate molecule administration.Zebrafish,the Matrigel plug angiogenesis assay in mice,the TNBC allograft,and xenograft mouse models were used to evaluate thein vivoanti-angiogenic and anti-cancer activities.Furthermore,the potential direct targets of the candidates were identified by proteomics and biochemical studies.Results:We found the most active compound was 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)quinolin-4(1H)-one(MEQ),an isoflavone derivative.In TNBC cells,MEQ treatment resulted in increased SerRS mRNA(P<0.001)and protein levels and downregulated VEGFA production.Both the vascular development of zebrafish and Matrigel plug angiogenesis in mice were inhibited by MEQ.MEQ also suppressed the angiogenesis in TNBC allografts and xenografts in mice,resulting in inhibited tumor growth and prolonged overall survival(P<0.05).Finally,we found that MEQ regulated SerRS transcription by interacting with MTA2(Metastasis Associated 1 Family Member 2).Conclusions:Our findings suggested that the MTA2/SerRS/VEGFA axis is a drug-treatable anti-angiogenic target,and MEQ is a promising anti-tumor molecule that merits further investigation for clinical applications.Xiaotong Zhang Gengyi Zou Xiyang Li Lun Wang Tianyu Xie Jin Zhao Longlong Wang Shunchang Jiao Rong Xiang Haoyu Ye Yi Shi 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3:6
7In-situ/operando characterization techniques in lithium-ion batteries and beyond显示文摘Nowadays,in-situ/operando characterization becomes one of the most powerful as well as available means to monitor intricate reactions and investigate energy-storage mechanisms within advanced batteries.The new applications and novel devices constructed in recent years are necessary to be reviewed for inspiring subsequent studies.Hence,we summarize the progress of in-situ/operando techniques employed in rechargeable batteries.The members of this large family are divided into three sections for introduction,including bulk material,electrolyte/electrode interface and gas evolution.In each part,various energy-storage systems are mentioned and the related experimental details as well as data analysis are discussed.The simultaneous strategies of various in-situ methods are highlighted as well.Finally,current challenges and potential solutions are concluded towards the rising influence and enlarged appliance of in-situ/operando techniques in the battery research.Haoyu Li Shaohua Guo Haoshen Zhou 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:5
8DJ-1 is involved in the multidrug resistance of SGC7901 gastric cancer cells through PTEN/PI3K/Akt/Nrf2 pathway显示文摘Gastric cancer is a common malignancy worldwide.The occurrence of multidrug resistance(MDR)is the major obstacle for effective gastric cancer chemotherapy.In this study,the in-depth molec-ular mechanism of the DJ-1-induced MDR in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells was investigated.The results showed that DJ-1 expression level was higher in MDR variant SGC7901NCR cells than that in its parental SGC7901 cells.Moreover,DJ-1 overexpression conferred the MDR phenotype to SGC7901 cells,while DJ-1 knockdown in SGC7901NCR cells induced re-sensitization to adriamycin,vincristine,cisplatin,and 5-fluorouracil.These results suggested that DJ-1 mediated the develop-ment of MDR in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.Importantly,further data revealed that the activation of PI3k/Akt and Nrf2 signaling pathway were required for the DJ-1-induced MDR phenotype in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.Meanwhile,we found that Pl3k/Akt pathway was activated probably through DJ-1 directly binding to and negatively regulating PTEN,consequently resulting in Nrf2 phosphorylation and activation,and thereby inducing Nrf2-dependent P-glycoprotein(P-gp)and Bcl-2 expressions in the DJ-1-mediated MDR of SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.Overall,these results revealed that activating PTEN/PI3K/Akt/Nrf2 pathway and subsequently upregulating P-gp and Bcl-2 expression could be a critical mechanism by which DJ-1 mediates the development of MDR in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.The new findings may be helpful for understanding the mechanisms of MDR in gastric cancer cells,prompting its further investigation as a molecular target to overcome MDR.Lejia Qiu Zhaoxia Ma Xiaoran Li Yizhang Deng Guangling Duan Le Zhao Xingwang Xu Lin Xiao Haoyue Liu Zhengming Zhu Heping Chen 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,11:5
9Molecular behaviors in thin film lubrication——Part two: Direct observation of the molecular orientation near the solid surface显示文摘Over the past twenty years, thin film lubrication(TFL) theory has been used to characterize the molecular behaviors in lubrication films thinner than 100 nm, effectively bridging the gap between elastohydrodynamic lubrication and boundary lubrication. Unfortunately, to date, the TFL molecular model proposed in 1996 has not been directly proven by experimental detection. Herein, a method based on surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy was developed to show both the packing and orienting of liquid molecules in the TFL regime. By trapping liquid crystal molecules between a structured silver surface and a glass surface, molecular ordering states dominated by shear effect and surface effect were successfully distinguished. A nanosandwich structure consisting of an adsorbed layer, an ordered-molecule layer, and a fluid layer was demonstrated. Molecule imaging in TFL was achieved. 10Implementation of regional Acute Stroke Care Map increases thrombolysis rates for acute ischaemic stroke in Chinese urban area in only 3 months显示文摘Background The rate of intravenous thrombolysis for acute ischaemic stroke remains low in China.We investigated whether the implementation of a citywide Acute Stroke Care Map(ASCaM)is associated with an improvement of acute stroke care quality in a Chinese urban area.Methods The ASCaM comprises 10 improvement strategies and has been implemented through a network consisting of 20 tertiary hospitals.We identified 7827 patients with ischaemic stroke admitted from April to October 2017,and 506 patients underwent thrombolysis were finally included for analysis.Results Compared with‘pre-ASCaM period’,we observed an increased rate of administration of tissue plasminogen activator within 4.5 hours(65.4% vs 54.5%;adjusted OR,1.724;95% CI 1.21 to 2.45;p=0.003)during‘ASCaM period’.In multivariate analysis models,‘ASCaM period’was associated with a significant reduction in onset-to door time(114.1±55.7 vs 135.7±58.4 min,p=0.0002)and onset-to needle time(ONT)(169.2±58.1 vs 195.6±59.3 min,p<0.0001).Yet no change was found in door-to needle time.Clinical outcomes such as symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage,favourable functional outcome(modified Rankin Scale≤2)and in-hospital mortality remained unchanged.Conclusion The implementation of ASCaM was significantly associated with increased rates of intravenous thrombolysis and shorter ONT.The ASCaM may,in proof-of principle,serve as a model to reduce treatment delay and increase thrombolysis rates in Chinese urban areas and possibly other highly populated Asian regions.Yi Sui Jianfeng Luo Chunyao Dong Liqiang Zheng Weijin Zhao Yao Zhang Ying Xian Huaguang Zheng Bernard Yan Mark Parsons Li Ren Ying Xiao Haoyue Zhu Lijie Ren Qi Fang Yi Yang Weidong Liu Bing Xu 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1:4

12Trace Elements in Sphalerite from the Dadongla Zn-Pb Deposit, Western Hunan-Eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb Metallogenic Belt, South China显示文摘The western Hunan-eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb metallogenic belt is one of the important Zn-Pb mineralization regions in China.The Dadongla deposit,located in the northeast of Guizhou Province,is one of the typical Zn-Pb deposits in the region and has estimated resources more than 12 million metric tons(Mt)with an average grade of 4.11 wt%Zn+Pb.Its orebodies are hosted in the lower Cambrian Aoxi Formation dolomite,occurring as bedded,para-bedded in shape,and in conformity with the wall rock.The ore mineral assemblage is simple,dominated by sphalerite with minor pyrite and galena,and the gangue minerals are composed of dolomite,calcite with minor bitumen and barite.In view of the lack of geological and geochemical researches,the genesis of Zn-Pb ore is still unclear.Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICPMS)spot and mapping analyses were used to obtain sphalerite trace element chemistry in the Dadongla Zn-Pb deposit in Guizhou,China,aiming to constrain its ore genesis.The results show that sphalerite is characterized by the enrichment of Cd,Fe,Ge and Hg,corresponding with that of typical MVT deposits.Four zones were identified in the sphalerite crystal from Dadongla from the center to margin according to the color bands.in which the zone in the center,representing the early ore-stage sphalerite,is characterized by enrichment of Cd relatively,while the zone forming at late ore-stage is enriched in Ge and Hg relatively.The finding was controlled by differential leached metals content in ore-forming fluid from its source rock.Notably,critical element Ge trends to be enriched at the late ore-stage and follows a substitution of 2 Zn^2+(?)Ge^4++□(vacancy).Moreover,the calculated ore-forming temperature ranges from 79.9℃to 177.6℃by the empirical formula,which is similar to that of typical Mississippi Valley-type(MVT)deposits.Compared with the features of trace elements in sphalerite from different types of deposits,together with the geology,the Dadongla deposit belongs to an MVT Zn-Pb deposit.HU Yusi YE Lin WEI Chen LI Zhenli HUANG Zhilong WANG Haoyu 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6:3
13Progress and prospects of horizontal well fracturing technology for shale oil and gas reservoirs显示文摘By systematically summarizing horizontal well fracturing technology abroad for shale oil and gas reservoirs since the “13th Five-Year Plan”, this article elaborates new horizontal well fracturing features in 3D development of stacked shale reservoirs, small well spacing and dense well pattern, horizontal well re-fracturing, fracturing parameters optimization and cost control. In light of requirements on horizontal well fracturing technology in China, we have summarized the technological progress in simulation of multi-fracture propagation, horizontal well frac-design, electric-drive fracturing equipment, soluble tools and low-cost downhole materials and factory-like operation. 14Patterning catalyst via inkjet printing to grow single-walled carbon nanotubes显示文摘Controlled growth of patterned single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) is an important issue in many applications. Herein, we demonstrated a method to pattern catalyst via inkjet printing for the growth of SWNTs, using metal salt solutions as the inks and an ordinary office-use printer. We printed water solutions of cobalt acetate on hydrophilic Si substrates and grew high quality SWNT films. 16A novel glasses-free virtual reality rehabilitation system on improving upper limb motor function among patients with stroke:A feasibility pilot study显示文摘Background:Virtual reality(VR)technology is increasingly used in stroke rehabilitation.This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using the glasses-free VR training to improve motor function of upper limb in patients with stroke.Methods:Twelve patients with stroke were recruited to participate in the intervention of 3 weeks.At the baseline and post intervention,two times of evaluation including Fugl-Meyer upper-extremity scale(FMS-UE),transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS)measurement and motion evaluation were performed.Results:No significant difference was observed between two groups at baseline evaluation.After the intervention,the FMS-UE scores presented a greater improvement in the VR group compared with the control group.TMS measurement showed that there was significant difference in cortex latency and central motor conduction time between two groups after the intervention,but no significant difference in the amplitude of motor event potential was observed.In addition,there was a significant correlation between game scores and FMS-UE scores.Conclusions:The novel glasses-free VR training was at least as effective as conventional occupational therapy in upper limb motor function,improving nerve conduction time and corticospinal excitability in patient with stroke.Haoyu Xie Hantao Zhang Haowen Liang Hang Fan Jianying Zhou Wai Leung Ambrose Lo Le Li 2021Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2021,,3:2
17Effect of Carbonation and Drying-Wetting Cycles on Chloride Diffusion Behavior of Coral Aggregate Seawater Concrete显示文摘Based on seawater immersion,drying-wetting cycles,carbonation and drying-wetting cycles for coral aggregate sea-water concrete(CASC)with different strength grades,the effect of carbonation and drying-wetting cycles on chloride diffusion be-havior of CASC is studied.The results show that the free surface chloride concentration(Cs),free chloride diffusion coefficient(Df)and time-dependent index(m)of CASC in the drying-wetting cycles is obviously higher than that in seawater immersion.The Df and m of CASC of carbonation and drying-wetting cycles is higher than that in the drying-wetting cycles.Carbonation increases the Df and m of CASC,which is against CASC to resist chloride corrosion.The corrosion possibility of CASC structures in different ex-posed areas is as follows:splash zone(carbonation and drying-wetting cycles)>tidal zone(drying-wetting cycles)>underwater zone(seawater immersion).Besides,the chloride diffusion rate of C65-CASC is 17.8%-63.4%higher than that of C65-ordinary aggre-gate concrete(OAC)in seawater immersion(underwater zone).Therefore,anti-corrosion measures should be adopted to improve the service life of CASC structure in the oceanic environment.DA Bo LI Yipeng YU Hongfa MA Haiyan CHEN Haoyu DOU Xuemei WU Zhangyu 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,1:2
18Experimental investigation on the nanoindentation viscoelastic constitutive model of quartz and kaolinite in mudstone显示文摘The creep behaviors in deep underground engineering structures,especially in soft rocks,have a remarkable impact on the long-term stability of the excavations,which finally leads to the high risk and failure of it.Accordingly,it is essential to recognize the time-dependent deformation through the investigation of this phenomenon.In this study,the creep behaviors of soft rocks were examined to help understand the underlying mechanism of the extended time-dependent deformation.Due to the limited results about the time-dependent properties of the constituents of the rock that reveal their heterogeneity,the targeting nanoindentation technique(TNIT),was adopted to investigate the viscoelastic characteristics of kaolinite and quartz in a two-constituent mudstone sample.The TNIT consists of identifications of mineralogical ingredients in mudstone and nanoindentation experiments on each identified constituent.After conducting experiments,the unloading stages of the typical indentation curves were analyzed to calculate the hardness and elastic modulus of both elements in mudstone.Additionally,the 180 s load-holding stages with the peak load of 50 mN were transformed into the typical creep strain-time curves for fitting analysis by using the Kelvin model,the standard viscoelastic model,and the extended viscoelastic model.Fitting results show that the standard viscoelastic model not only can perfectly express the nanoindentation creep behaviors of both kaolinite and quartz but also can produce suitable constants used to measure their creep parameters.The creep parameters of kaolinite are much smaller than that of quartz,which causes the considerable time-dependent deformation of the soft mudstone.Eventually,the standard viscoelastic model was also verified on the quartz in a sandstone sample.Changlun Sun Guichen Li Mohamed Elgharib Gomah Jiahui Xu Haoyu Rong 2021International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2021,8,5:2
19A Trusted Mobile Payment Environment Based on Trusted Computing and Virtualization Technology显示文摘In this paper,we propose a trusted mobile payment environment(TMPE)based on trusted computing and virtualization technology.There are a normal operating system(OS)and a trusted OS(TOS)in TMPE.We store the image of TOS in a memory card to hinder tampering.The integrity of TOS is protected by means of a trusted platform module(TPM).TOS can only be updated through a trusted third party.In addition,virtualization technology is applied to isolate TOS from normal OS.Users complete ordinary affairs in normal OS and security-sensitive affairs in TOS.TMPE can offer users a highly protected environment for mobile payment.Moreover,TMPE has good compatibility in different hardware architectures of mobile platforms.As the evaluation shows,TMPE satisfies the requirement of mobile payment well.WANG Juan LIN Wutao LI Haoyu DU Bianxia MENG Ke WANG Jiang 2014Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2014,19,5:2
20Highly Reliable Multiport PUF Circuit Based on MOSFET Zero Temperature Coefficient Point显示文摘By using processing variations in the unitcircuits of the same structures and design parameters during manufacturing, Physical unclonable function(PUF)generates security keys with characteristic of uniqueness,randomness and unclonability. In this paper, a highly reliable multiport PUF scheme was proposed based on MOSFET Zero temperature coefficient(ZTC) point. It consists of input register, deviation-current generating module, arbiter array and obfuscation circuit. After reconfiguring deviation-current generating module by applying different input challenges, the PUF circuit updates keys without physical replacement. And multi-bit keys can be generated in one clock cycle. In TSMC-LP 65 nm CMOS technology, the layout of 64-port reconfigurable PUF occupies 131μm×242μm with custom designing. Experimental results show that the PUF circuit has good statistical characteristic of uniqueness and randomness. It exhibits high reliability of 98.2% with respect to temperature variation from –40℃ to 125℃ and supply voltage variation from 1.08 V to 1.32 V, indicating that it can be reliably and effectively used in information security field.LI Gang WANG Pengjun QIAN Haoyu 2018Chinese Journal of Electronics2018,27,4:2
