| 2 | Chemistry and pharmacology of Siraitia grosvenorii: A review显示文摘Siraitia grosvenorii is a perennial herb endemic to Guangxi province of China. Its fruit, commonly known as Luo hanguo, and has been used for hundreds of years as a natural sweetener and as a traditional medicine for the treatment of pharyngitis, pharyngeal pain, as well as an anti-tussive remedy in China. Based on ninety-three literary sources, this review summarized the advances in chemistry, biological effects, and toxicity research of S. grosvenorii during the past 30 years. Several different classes of compounds have been isolated or detected from various parts of S. grosvenorii, mainly triterpenoids, flavonoids, polysaccharides, amino acids, and essential oils. Various types of extracts or individual compounds derived from this species exhibited a wide array of biological effects e.g. anti-tussive, phlegm-relieving, anti-oxidant, immunomodulatory, liver-protecting, glucose-lowering, and anti-microbial. The existing research has shown that extracts and individual compounds from S. grosvenorii are basically non-toxic. | 3 | Comparsion analysis of data mining models applied to clinical research in Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To help researchers selecting appropriate data mining models to provide better evidence for the clinical practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) diagnosis and therapy.METHODS: Clinical issues based on data mining models were comprehensively summarized from four significant elements of the clinical studies:symptoms, symptom patterns, herbs, and efficacy.Existing problems were further generalized to determine the relevant factors of the performance of data mining models, e.g. data type, samples, parameters, variable labels. Combining these relevant factors, the TCM clinical data features were compared with regards to statistical characters and informatics properties. Data models were compared simultaneously from the view of applied conditions and suitable scopes.RESULTS: The main application problems were the inconsistent data type and the small samples for the used data mining models, which caused the inappropriate results, even the mistake results. | 4 | Effects of dietary alfalfa flavonoids extraction on growth performance,organ development and blood biochemical indexes of Yangzhou geese aged from 28 to 70 days显示文摘This experiment was conducted to study the effects of dietary alfalfa flavonoids extraction supplemental level on growth performance, organ development and blood biochemical indexes of Yangzhou geese at the age of 28 to 70 days. Two hundred and forty 21-day-old healthy male geese with similar body weight were randomly distributed into 4 groups with 6 replicates per group and 10 geese per replicate. Geese in the control group were fed a basal diet and the others in the experimental groups(groups 1,2, and 3) were fed experimental diets supplemented with 150, 300 and 450 mg/kg alfalfa flavonoids extraction(the concentration of it was 81%), respectively. The experiment had 7 days for pre-test and 42 days for formal test.The results showed that the final body weight and average daily intake of group 2 were significantly higher than those of other groups(P < 0.05). The average daily gain of group 2 was significantly higher than that in the control group and group 1(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in feed-to-gain ratio between each group(P > 0.05). Pre-slaughter live weight, carcass weight, slaughter rate, semieviscerated weight, semi-eviscerated rate, eviscerated weight, eviscerated rate, leg muscle weight and leg muscle rate had no significant difference between each group(P > 0.05). The breast muscle weight and ratio of each test group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05) and the group2 was the best. The abdominal fat weight and ratio in the group 1 were significantly higher than those in the control group and group 3(P < 0.05) and the tibia weight in the group 2 was significantly higher than that in the control group and group 1(P < 0.05); There were no significant differences in heart weight,liver weight and the gland stomach weight among all groups(P > 0.05). Spleen weight in test groups was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The bursa weight and muscular stomach weight in the group 2 were significantly higher than those in the control group and group 1(P < 0.05). In serum, total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein and urea nitrogen in the group 2 were significantly lower comparing with those in the control group(P < 0.05). High-density lipoprotein in the group 2 was significantly higher than that in other groups(P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in total serum protein, albumin, globulin and albumin/globulin among all groups(P > 0.05). Alanine aminotransferase and aspartate transaminase(AST) in groups 2 and 3 were higher than those in the group1 and control group but not obvious(P > 0.05) and alkaline phosphatase(ALP) in groups 1 and 2 was higher than that in the control group and group 3(P > 0.05). It is concluded that alfalfa flavonoids extraction added in dietary feed improve the growth performance, organ development and blood biochemical indexes of Yangzhou geese. | 7 | Changes of Vertical Groundwater Recharge with Increase in Thickness of Vadose Zone Simulated by One-Dimensional Variably Saturated Flow Model显示文摘The thickness of vadose zone plays a critical role in vertical groundwater recharge. The decline of water table since the past decades due to long-term groundwater over-exploitation has resulted in deep vadose zone in North China Plain. One-dimensional variably saturated flow models were established by Hydrus-1D software and simulations were run under steady and continuous declining water table respectively to estimate the impact of increase in thickness of vadose zone on recharge process, quantity and recharge time. Luancheng area was selected to estimate recharge quantity considering steady and continuous declining water table. The simulation results show that the increase in thickness of vadose zone delays recharge process to water table. The recharge quantity decreases first and then remains stable with the decline of water table. Under the condition of declining water table, the evaluation of recharge by the flux at water table overestimates the recharge quantity. | 8 | Effects of Nitrogen Application Levels on Ammonia Volatilization and Nitrogen Utilization during Rice Growing Season显示文摘We conducted field trials of rice grown in sandy soil and clay soil to determine the effects of nitrogen application levels on the concentration of NH4+-N in surface water,loss of ammonia through volatilization from paddy fields,rice production,nitrogen-use efficiency,and nitrogen content in the soil profile.The concentration of NH4+-N in surface water and the amount of ammonia lost through volatilization increased with increasing nitrogen application level,and peaked at 1-3 d after nitrogen application.Less ammonia was lost via volatilization from clay soil than from sandy soil.The amounts of ammonia lost via volatilization after nitrogen application differed depending on the stage when it was applied,from the highest loss to the lowest:N application to promote tillering > the first N topdressing to promote panicle initiation(applied at the last 4-leaf stage) > basal fertilizer > the second N topdressing to promote panicle initiation(applied at the last 2-leaf stage).The total loss of ammonia via volatilization from clay soil was 10.49-87.06 kg/hm2,equivalent to 10.92%-21.76% of the nitrogen applied.The total loss of ammonia via volatilization from sandy soil was 11.32?102.43 kg/hm2,equivalent to 11.32%-25.61% of the nitrogen applied.The amount of ammonia lost via volatilization and the concentration of NH4+-N in surface water peaked simultaneously after nitrogen application;both showed maxima at the tillering stage with the ratio between them ranging from 23.76% to 33.65%.With the increase in nitrogen application level,rice production and nitrogen accumulation in plants increased,but nitrogen-use efficiency decreased.Rice production and nitrogen accumulation in plants were slightly higher in clay soil than in sandy soil.In the soil,the nitrogen content was the lowest at a depth of 40-50 cm.In any specific soil layer,the soil nitrogen content increased with increasing nitrogen application level,and the soil nitrogen content was higher in clay soil than in sandy soil.In terms of ammonia volatilization,the amount of ammonia lost via volatilization increased markedly when the nitrogen application level exceeded 250 kg/hm2 in the rice growing season.However,for rice production,a suitable nitrogen application level is approximately 300 kg/hm2.Therefore,taking the needs for high crop yields and environmental protection into account,the appropriate nitrogen application level was 250-300 kg/hm2 in these conditions. | LIN Zhong-cheng DAI Qi-gen YE Shi-chao WU Fu-guan JIA Yu-shu CHEN Jing-dou XU Lu-sheng ZHANG Hong-cheng Huo Zhong-yang Xu Ke WEt Hai-yan | 2012 | Rice science2012,19,2: | 9 |

| 11 | Effects of surfactants on graphene oxide nanoparticles transport in saturated porous media显示文摘Transport behaviors of graphene oxide nanoparticles(GONPs) in saturated porous media were examined as a function of the presence and concentration of anionic surfactant(SDBS)and non-ionic surfactant(Triton X-100) under different ionic strength(IS). The results showed that the GONPs were retained obviously in the sand columns at both IS of 50 and200 mmol/L, and they were more mobile at lower IS. The presence and concentration of surfactants could enhance the GONP transport, particularly as observed at higher IS. It was interesting to see that the GONP transport was surfactant type dependent, and SDBS was more effective to facilitate GONP transport than Triton X-100 in our experimental conditions. The advection–dispersion–retention numerical modeling followed this trend and depicted the difference quantitatively. | 12 | Efficacy of Yiqigubiao pill on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in rats with the disease induced by lipopolysaccharide and cigarette-smoke fumigation显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Yiqigubiao pill(YQGB)on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in rats with the COPD induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and cigarettesmoke fumigation.METHODS:In this study,six groups of rats were set up,including control group,model group,positive control group(aminophylline)and YQGB(high,medium and low doses)groups.Tracheal injection of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and cigarette-smoke fumigation induced COPD in rats.The general condition,incubation period and coughing times,lung function,level of inflammatory factors,leukocyte condition and pathological changes of bronchus and lung tissue were observed in rats of each group.RESULTS:In the COPD rats,the latent period of coughing was shortened and the cough frequency was increased significantly;the pulmonary function was significantly decreased,which was manifested by the increased lung tissue resistance and respiratory system resistance,and the decreasing percentage of forced expiratory volume and forced expiratory volume in the 0.3 s(FEV0.3/FVC);the contents of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-4 in serum were obviously increased,and the NEUT%in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid was significantly increase.YQGB could obviously prolong the latent period of cough,and reduce the cough frequency and the content of TNF-αin serum.YQGB can also significantly reduce respiratory resistance and increase FEV0.3/FVC value.The results of histopathology showed that YQGB significantly reduced the pathological changes of tracheal mucosa and lung caused by COPD.YQGB obviously increased level of AQP1,which was down-regulated in the COPD rats.CONCLUSION:YQGB could significantly improve the pulmonary function,reduce inflammation and alleviate lung and bronchial diseases in the COPD rats. | Jiang Lin Li Fengsen Sun Jianhui Huo Hairu Li Xiaoqin Li Hongmei | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6: | 6 |

| 14 | Simultaneous Determination of Hexoestrol, Diethylstilbestrol, Estrone and 17-Beta-estradiol in Feed by Gas Chromatography-mass Spectrometry显示文摘A method was developed for the simultaneous determination of four kinds of estrogens(hexoestrol, diethylstilbestrol, estrone, and 17-beta-estradiol) in feed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). After the sample was extracted by ethyl ether and cleaned-up on HLB phase extraction column, four kinds of estrogens were derived and quantified in gas chromatographymass spectrometry. The results showed that the linear detectable ranged from 2.5 ng·mL^(-1) to 250 ng·mL^(-1) for hexoestrol and from 5 ng·mL^(-1) to 500 ng·mL^(-1) for three other estrogens with the correlation coefficients(R^2) were no less than 0.990. The recoveries were in the range of 76.34%-96.33% and the relative standard deviation was no more than 22.7%. | 15 | A three-microRNA panel in serum as novel biomarker for papillary thyroid carcinoma diagnosis显示文摘Background:Accumulating evidence has revealed that circulating microRNAs(miRNAs)can serve as non-invasive biomarkers for cancer diagnosis.This study aimed to identify differentially expressed miRNAs in serum which might become potential biomarkers for non-invasive diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Methods:The experiment was carried out between 2015 and 2017.In the screening stage,the Exiqon miRNA quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR)panel was applied to select candidate miRNAs.In the following training,testing,and external validation stages,the serum samples of 100 patients and 96 healthy controls(HCs)were analyzed to compare the expression levels of the identified miRNAs.The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves(AUCs)were calculated to assess the diagnostic value of the identified signature.Results:Three miRNAs(miR-25-3p,miR-296-5p,and miR-92a-3p)in serum were consistently up-regulated in PTC patients compared with HCs.A three-miRNA panel was constructed by logistic regression analysis and showed better diagnostic performance than a single miRNA for PTC detection.The AUCs of the panel were 0.727,0.771,and 0.862 for the training,testing,and external validation stage,respectively.Meanwhile,the panel showed stable capability in differentiating PTC patients from patients with benign goiters,with an AUC as high as 0.969.For further exploration,the three identified miRNAs were analyzed in tissue samples(23 PTC vs.23 HCs)and serum-derived exosomes samples(24 PTC vs.24 HCs),and the altered expression in the tumor also indicated their close relationship with PTC disease.Conclusion:We identify a three-miRNA panel in serum which might serve as a promising biomarker for PTC diagnosis. | Xuan Zou Feng Gao Zhi-Yan Wang Huo Zhang Qing-Xie Liu Lin Jiang Xin Zhou Wei Zhu | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,21: | 6 |

| 19 | Effect of high temperature annealing on the performance of MANOS charge trapping memory显示文摘We have investigated the effect of post deposition annealing (PDA) temperature of Al2O3 blocking layer on the performance of charge trapping memory capacitors. Two splits of PDA were performed in N2 ambient at 850°C/60 s and 1050°C/60 s, respectively. The 1050°C annealed capacitor could be programmed and erased normally by using Fowler-Nordheim (FN) injection. In contrast, the 850°C annealed device could not be erased, even though it could be programmed properly. By measuring the gate leakage current and the flatband voltage shift, we found the erase failure in the 850°C annealed device was due to a larger gate back-injection leakage current at Vg<0. The trend of gate leakage current was further verified in two Al/Al2O3/SiO2/p-Si control capacitors with the same PDA splits. In addition, constant voltage stress measurements on control capacitors in the FN regime showed that the change of gate leakage current followed an empirical Curie-von Schweidler law at Vg<0. | 20 | Simulation of stray grain formation in Ni-base single crystal turbine blades fabricated by HRS and LMC techniques显示文摘The simulation models of the thermal and macrostructural evolutions during directional solidification of Ni-base single crystal(SX) turbine blades under high rate solidification(HRS) and liquid metal cooling(LMC) have been constructed using Pro CAST software, coupled with a 3D Cellular Automaton Finite Element(CAFE) model. The models were used to investigate the tendencies of stray grain(SG) formation in the platform region of turbine blades fabricated by HRS and LMC techniques. The results reveal that the LMC technique can prohibit SG formation by smoothing the concaved isotherm and in turn alleviating the undercooling in the platform ends to let the dendrites fill up the undercooled zone before SG nucleation. The simulation results agreed well with the experimental results, indicating that these models could be used to analyze the macrostructural evolution or to optimize process parameters to suppress SG formation.
