1Bake hardening behavior of TRIP and DP steels显示文摘The bake hardening (BH) behavior of transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) and dual-phase (DP) steels after different prestrains was studied. The experimental results indicate that TRIP steel exhibits good BH ability while DP steel does not, and pre-strain displays a strong effect on the BH values of both steels. The comparison of microstructures of the two steels showed that the hard second phase in the matrix might be harmful to the BH ability. 3Process optimization,texture and microstructure of novel kelp tofu显示文摘Laminaria japonica Aresch as an edible and medicine dual-purpose marine algae,has been gradually accepted by people.Tofu was Chinese traditional food,combining kelp function ingredients with tofu has practical value.The extraction-optimization methodology and the sequences of kelp antihypertensive peptide(KAP)were investigated.The sensory,whiteness,water retention ability(WRA)and microstructure of KAP tofu were evaluated.The scanning electron microscope(SEM)results showed KAP addition(20%)significantly improved the tofu texture,with a denser network composed of relatively even pores.Compared with gypsum tofu and glucose-δ-interior fat(GDL)tofu,KAP tofu had significantly higher WRA(94.49±0.49)%and sensory evaluation score value(92.54±0.52),and a significantly lower IC_(50) value at(2.06±0.04)mg/mL(P<0.05).The maximum IC_(50) value(4.14 mg/mL)of kelp enzymatic hydrolysate was observed at enzyme(at an alkaline protease:trypsin ratio of 2:1)concentration 1.5%,temperature 55℃ and time 2 h.The sequences of 8 identified peptides were Lys-Tyr,Phe-Tyr,Gly-Lys-Tyr,Ala-Lys-Tyr,Ser-Lys-Thr-Tyr,Lys-Lys-Phe-Tyr,Lys-Phe-Lys-Tyr and Ala-Lys-Tyr-Ser-Tyr with IC_(50) values of 5.24,4.83,7.94,7.52,20.63,15.33,10.73 and 2.42μmol/L,respectively.These results indicated the potential use of KAP tofu as a valuable resource for development of functional foods.Xianjiang Ye Li Chen Zhichen Su Xiaojuan Lin Jicheng Chen 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,1:2

8Selective deletion of zinc transporter 3 in amacrine cells promotes retinal ganglion cell survival and optic nerve regeneration after injury显示文摘Vision depends on accurate signal conduction from the retina to the brain through the optic nerve,an important part of the central nervous system that consists of bundles of axons originating from retinal ganglion cells.The mammalian optic nerve,an important part of the central nervous system,cannot regenerate once it is injured,leading to permanent vision loss.To date,there is no clinical treatment that can regenerate the optic nerve and restore vision.Our previous study found that the mobile zinc(Zn^(2+))level increased rapidly after optic nerve injury in the retina,specifically in the vesicles of the inner plexiform layer.Furthermore,chelating Zn^(2+)significantly promoted axonal regeneration with a long-term effect.In this study,we conditionally knocked out zinc transporter 3(ZnT3)in amacrine cells or retinal ganglion cells to construct two transgenic mouse lines(VGAT^(Cre)ZnT3^(fl/fl)and VGLUT2^(Cre)ZnT3^(fl/fl),respectively).We obtained direct evidence that the rapidly increased mobile Zn^(2+)in response to injury was from amacrine cells.We also found that selective deletion of ZnT3 in amacrine cells promoted retinal ganglion cell survival and axonal regeneration after optic nerve crush injury,improved retinal ganglion cell function,and promoted vision recovery.Sequencing analysis of reginal ganglion cells revealed that inhibiting the release of presynaptic Zn^(2+)affected the transcription of key genes related to the survival of retinal ganglion cells in postsynaptic neurons,regulated the synaptic connection between amacrine cells and retinal ganglion cells,and affected the fate of retinal ganglion cells.These results suggest that amacrine cells release Zn^(2+)to trigger transcriptomic changes related to neuronal growth and survival in reginal ganglion cells,thereby influencing the synaptic plasticity of retinal networks.These results make the theory of zinc-dependent retinal ganglion cell death more accurate and complete and provide new insights into the complex interactions between retinal cell networks.Zhe Liu Jingfei Xue Canying Liu Jiahui Tang Siting Wu Jicheng Lin Jiaxu Han Qi Zhang Caiqing Wu Haishun Huang Ling Zhao Yehong Zhuo Yiqing Li 2023Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,12:0

10Internal Friction on the Bake-Hardening Behavior of 0.11C-1.67Mn-1.19Si TRIP Steel显示文摘The bake-hardening (BH) values and the 'internal friction-temperature' spectrums were studied for the baked 0.11C-1.67Mn-1.19Si TRIP (transformation induced plasticity) specimens with 0%, 2% and 6% prestrain. Results show that the experimental TRIP steel deserves good bake-hardening ability and Cottrell atmosphere is the reason for its bake hardening characteristic. 11Renal tubule-targeted dexrazoxane suppresses ferroptosis in acute kidney injury by inhibiting ACMSD显示文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI)is a heterogeneous clinical complication with no existing definite or particular therapies.Therefore,molecular mechanisms and approaches for treating acute kidney injury are in urgent need.Herein,we demonstrated that dexrazoxane(DXZ),a U.S.Food and Drug Administration(FDA)-approved cardioprotective drug,can both functionally and histologically attenuate cisplatin or ischemia-reperfusion injury-induced AKI in vitro and in vivo via inhibiting ferroptosis specifically.This effect is characterized by decreasing lipid peroxidation,shown by the biomarker of oxidative stress 4-hydroxynonenal(HNE)and prostaglandinendoperoxide synthase 2(Ptgs2),while reversing the downregulation of glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)and ferritin 1(FTH-1).Mechanistically,the results revealed that DXZ targeted at the renal tubule significantly inhibits ferroptosis by suppressingα-amino-β-carboxymuconate-ε-semialdehyde decarboxylase(ACMSD).Furthermore,the conjugation of dexrazoxane and polysialic acid(DXZ-PSA)is specifically designed and utilized to enhance the therapeutic effect of DXZ by long-term effect in the kidney,especially retention and targeting in the renal tubules.This study provides a novel therapeutic approach and mechanistic insight for AKI by inhibiting ferroptosis through a new type drug DXZPSA with the enhanced renal distribution.Yunjing Zhang Jicheng Wu Quanlin An Huanhuan Zhu Xinwan Su Ying Wang Xishao Xie Jian Zhang Xi Yao Chunhua Weng Shi Feng Jianhua Mao Xianghui Fu Fei Han Xin Cao Ben Wang Weiqiang Lin 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
