1DeST 3.0:A new-generation building performance simulation platform显示文摘Buildings contribute to almost 30%of total energy consumption worldwide.Developing building energy modeling programs is of great significance for lifecycle building performance assessment and optimization.Advances in novel building technologies,the requirements of high-performance computation,and the demands for multi-objective models have brought new challenges for building energy modeling software and platforms.To meet the increasing simulation demands,DeST 3.0,a new-generation building performance simulation platform,was developed and released.The structure of DeST 3.0 incorporates four simulation engines,including building analysis and simulation(BAS)engine,HVAC system engine,combined plant simulation(CPS)engine,and energy system(ES)engine,connected by air loop and water loop balancing iterations.DeST 3.0 offers numerous new simulation features,such as advanced simulation modules for building envelopes,occupant behavior and energy systems,cross-platform and compatible simulation kernel,FMI/FMU-based co-simulation functionalities,and high-performance parallel simulation architecture.DeST 3.0 has been thoroughly evaluated and validated using code verification,inter-program comparison,and case-study calibration.DeST 3.0 has been applied in various aspects throughout the building lifecycle,supporting building design,operation,retrofit analysis,code appliance,technology adaptability evaluation as well as research and education.The new generation building simulation platform DeST 3.0 provides an efficient tool and comprehensive simulation platform for lifecycle building performance analysis and optimization.Da Yan Xin Zhou Jingjing An Xuyuan Kang Fan Bu Youming Chen Yiqun Pan Yan Gao Qunli Zhang Hui Zhou Kuining Qiu Jing Liu Yan Liu Honglian Li Lei Zhang Hong Dong Lixin Sun Song Pan Xiang Zhou Zhe Tian Wenjie Zhang Ruhong Wu Hongsan Sun Yu Huang Xiaohong Su Yongwei Zhang Rui Shen Diankun Chen Guangyuan Wei Yixing Chen Jinqing Peng 2022Building Simulation2022,15,11:5
2Influence of microbial community structure of seed sludge on the properties of aerobic nitrifying granules显示文摘In order to evaluate the influence of microbial community structure of seed sludge on the properties of aerobic nitrifying granules, these granules were cultivated with different seed sludge, and the variation of microbial community and dominant bacterial groups that impact the nitrogen removal efficiency of the aerobic nitrifying granules were analyzed and identified using 16 s rDNA sequence and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) profiles. The results presented here demonstrated that the influence of the community structure of seed sludge on the properties of aerobic nitrifying granules was remarkable, and the granules cultivated by activated sludge from a beer wastewater treatment plant showed better performance, with a stable sludge volume index(SVI) value of 20 m L/g, high extracellular polymeric substance(EPS) content of 183.3 mg/L, high NH4+-N removal rate of 89.42% and abundant microbial population with 10 dominant bacterial groups. 3CSF-Based Analysis for Identification of Potential Serum Biomarkers of Neural Tube Defects显示文摘The protein composition of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) in neural tube defects(NTDs) remains unknown. We investigated the protein composition of CSF from 9 infants with NTDs using isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation(iTRAQ). We identified 568 proteins in the CSF of infants with spina bifida, which is the most common type of NTD. Among these, 18 proteins were associated with neural tube closure in the CSF during human embryonic neurulation and 5 were involved in NTDs. Based on these results, an animal model was further utilized to investigate early serum biomarkers for NTDs.We found that the myristoylated alanine-rich C-kinase substrate, Kunitz-type protease inhibitor 2, andapolipoprotein B-100 protein levels were decreased in both embryos and the sera of pregnant Sprague-Dawley rats carrying embryos with NTDs. 4Numerical simulation of wellbore and formation temperature fields in carbonate formations during drilling and shut-in in the presence of lost circulation显示文摘Temperature curves reflect geothermal gradients and local temperature anomalies, thus providing a new understanding of the underground reservoir conditions. When encountering caverns or fractures and fissures during drilling, lost circulation may occur and result in a change to the original formation temperature field, and in severe cases, even the conventional open hole well logging data cannot be obtained. This paper uses finite element analysis software COMSOL to establish a heat transfer model for the wellbore/reservoir formation system during drilling and shut-in in the presence of lost circulation, and a case study is made in a carbonate reservoir in the Tahe oilfield. On the basis of the above, we analyze the temperature distribution in the leakage zone, and the studies have shown that the leakage and petrophysical properties have an impact on the temperature of the wellbore and formation, hence we can estimate the reservoir permeability using the temperature data. 5Identification of cancer patients using claims data from health insurance systems: A real-world comparative study显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of identifying cancer patients by use of medical claims data in a health insurance system in China, and provide the basis for establishing the claims-based cancer surveillance system in China.Methods: We chose Hua County, Henan Province as the study site, and randomly selected 300 and 1,200 qualified inpatient electronic medical records(EMRs) as well as the New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme(NCMS) claims records for cancer patients in Hua County People’s Hospital(HCPH) and Anyang Cancer Hospital(ACH) in 2017. Diagnostic information for NCMS claims was evaluated on an individual level, and sensitivity and positive predictive value(PPV) were calculated taking the EMRs as the gold standard.Results: The sensitivity of NCMS was 95.2%(93.8%-96.3%) and 92.0%(88.3%-94.8%) in ACH and HCPH,respectively. The PPV of the NCMS was 97.8%(96.7%-98.5%) in ACH and 89.0%(84.9%-92.3%) in HCPH.Overall, the weighted and combined sensitivity and PPV of NCMS in Hua County was 93.1% and 92.1%,respectively. 10An Old Story Retold: Loss of G1 Control Defines A Distinct Genomic Subtype of Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) has a high mortality rate. To determine the molecular basis of ESCC development, this study sought to identify characteristic genome-wide alterations in ESCC, including exonic mutations and structural alterations. The clinical implications of these genetic alterations were also analyzed. Exome sequencing and verification were performed for nine pairs of ESCC and the matched blood samples, followed by validation with additional samples using Sanger sequencing. Whole-genome SNP arrays were employed to detect copy number alteration(CNA) and loss of heterozygosity(LOH) in 55 cases, including the nine ESCC samples subjected to exome sequencing. A total of 108 non-synonymous somatic mutations(NSSMs) in102 genes were verified in nine patients. The chromatin modification process was found to be enriched in our gene ontology(GO) analysis. Tumor genomes with TP53 mutations were significantly more unstable than those without TP53 mutations. In terms of the landscape of genomic alterations, deletion of 9p21.3 covering CDKN2A/2B(30.9%), amplification of 11q13.3 covering CCND1(30.9%), and TP53 point mutation(50.9%) occurred in two-thirds of the cases. These results suggest that the deregulation of the G1 phase during the cell cycle is a key event in ESCC.Furthermore, six minimal common regions were found to be significantly altered in ESCC samples and three of them, 9p21.3, 7p11.2, and 3p12.1, were associated with lymph node metastasis.
