1Experimental study of a micro-scale solar organic Rankine cycle system based on compound cylindrical Fresnel lens solar concentrator显示文摘In the present study, a micro-scale solar organic Rankine cycle power generation system was developed. The system comprises of a solar collection system based on compound cylindrical Fresnel lens concentrator and an organic Rankine cycle power generation system integrated with a scroll expander. YD320 and R245 fa were used as the heat transfer fluid and the working fluid, respectively. The effects of the evaporation pressure, the degree of superheat, and the mass flow rate of the working fluid were analyzed to evaluate the solar collection efficiency, the electric power output, the thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency of the system. The results illustrate that both the increasing evaporation pressure and decreasing superheat degree have positive impacts on solar collection efficiency. The electric power increases as the evaporation pressure increases, while the thermal efficiency and the exergy efficiency decrease. However, the system overall efficiency decreases slowly due to the increase of solar collection efficiency. The electric power increases with the increment of the working fluid mass flow rate. The increasing mass flow rate has no visible impact on the thermal and exergy efficiencies of organic Rankine cycle subsystem, whereas a slightly increase of the thermal and exergy efficiencies of the integrated system. The electric power decreases with the increase of the superheat degree, whereas the thermal and the exergy efficiencies of the system increase. 2Study on the protection of Er-doped phosphate glass waveguide surface in ion-exchange processing显示文摘A novel method, sputtering K9 glass film, is proposed to solve the surface corrosion of Er-doped phosphate glass during ion-exchange processing for optical waveguide fabrication. The corrosion causes are analyzed to be the intrinsically weak stabilization of phosphate glass structure, hydrophile and weakly acidic property of phosphate radical. Experimental results show that the K9 glass film could not only protect the Er-doped phosphate glass surface from being corroded but also give no influence on the waveguide fabrication. The effect of thickness of K9 glass film on the optical property of waveguide is also investigated and the op- timal thickness is found to be 60―80 nm. 4Integrated photonic RF self-interference cancellation on a silicon platform for full-duplex communication显示文摘In-band full-duplex(IBFD) technology can double the spectrum utilization efficiency for wireless communications,and increase the data transmission rate of B5G and 6G networks and satellite communications. RF self-interference is the major challenge for the application of IBFD technology, which must be resolved. Compared with the conventional electronic method, the photonic self-interference cancellation(PSIC) technique has the advantages of wide bandwidth, high amplitude and time delay tuning precision, and immunity to electromagnetic interference.Integrating the PSIC system on chip can effectively reduce the size, weight, and power consumption and meet the application requirement, especially for mobile terminals and small satellite payloads. In this paper, the silicon integrated PSIC chip is presented first and demonstrated for IBFD communication. The integrated PSIC chip comprises function units including phase modulation, time delay and amplitude tuning, sideband filtering, and photodetection, which complete the matching conditions for RF self-interference cancellation. Over the wide frequency range of C, X, Ku, and K bands, from 5 GHz to 25 GHz, a cancellation depth of more than 20 dB is achieved with the narrowest bandwidth of 140 MHz. A maximum bandwidth of 630 MHz is obtained at a center frequency of10 GHz. The full-duplex communication experiment at Ku-band by using the PSIC chip is carried out. Cancellation depths of 24.9 dB and 26.6 dB are measured for a bandwidth of 100 MHz at central frequencies of 12.4 GHz and14.2 GHz, respectively, and the signal of interest(SOI) with 16-quadrature amplitude modulation is recovered successfully. The factors affecting the cancellation depth and maximum interference to the SOI ratio are investigated in detail. 5Study on the characteristics of erbium-doped waveguide ring laser显示文摘A theoretical model of the erbium-doped waveguide ring laser is established according to the theory of erbium-doped waveguide amplifier and the transmission matrix of waveguide directional coupler. The influence of bend radius, coupling coefficient and doped erbium ion concentration on the characteristics of waveguide ring laser is investigated. It is shown that due to the co-action of waveguide bend loss and other relevant loss there is an optimal bend radius which can provide simultaneously low threshold pumping power and high laser light output power. As one part of the resonator's loss, the laser light coupling coefficient of directional coupler has an impact on the laser property. The analysis indicates that the laser achieves the high output power when the coupling coefficient is about 0.2. The threshold pumping power is the minimum when the doped erbium ion concentration is 0.85×1026 m-3. Increasing the concentration of doped erbium ions will enhance the output power of laser light as long as the concentration doesn't introduce remarkable up-conversion effect. 7Phase noise floor suppression of the output carrier from double sideband-carrier suppressed modulation system显示文摘A theoretical model of all the influencing factors on the phase noise floor of the output carrier from the double sideband-carrier suppressed (DSB-CS) modulation system is presented. Based on the established DSB-CS modulation system with different cases, the phase noise of the input carrier and the output doubled frequency carrier is measured and calculated using the theoretical model, respectively. The calculation results basically agree with the measurement results. It is shown that the phase noise floor of the output carrier is primarily influenced by the signal-spontaneous beat noise and the relative intensity noise (RIN) of the laser. 8Strain-sensitive ferromagnetic two-dimensional Cr_(2)Te_(3)显示文摘Searching for room temperature magnetic two-dimensional(2D)materials is a charming goal,but the number of satisfied materials is tiny.Strain can introduce considerable deformation into the lattice structure of 2D materials,and thus significantly modulate their intrinsic properties.In this work,we demonstrated a remarkable strain-modulated magnetic properties in the chemical vapor deposited Cr_(2)Te_(3) nanoflakes grown on mica substrate.We found the Curie temperature of Cr_(2)Te_(3) nanoflakes can be positively and negatively modulated under tensile and compressive strain respectively,with a maximum varied value of -40 and-90 K,dependent on the thickness of samples.Besides,the coercive field of Cr_(2)Te_(3) nanoflakes also showed a significant decrease under the applied strain,suggesting the decrease of exchange interaction or the change of the magnetization direction.This work suggests a promise to employ interfacial strain to accelerate the practical application of room temperature 2D magnetics.Junchuan Zhong Mingshan Wang Teng Liu Yinghe Zhao Xiang Xu Shasha Zhou Junbo Han Lin Gan Tianyou Zhai 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

11Improvement of low temperature activity and stability of Ni catalysts with addition of Pt for hydrogen production via steam reforming of ethylene glycol显示文摘Hydrogen production by steam reforming of ethylene glycol(EG) at 300℃ was investigated over SiO2 and CeO2 supported Pt–Ni bimetallic catalysts prepared by incipient wetness impregnation methods. It was observed that impregnation sequence of Pt and Ni can affect the performance of catalysts apparently. Catalyst with Pt first and then Ni addition showed higher EG conversion and H2 yield owing to the Ni enrichment on the surface and the proper interaction between Pt and Ni. It was observed that although SiO2 supported catalysts exhibited better activity and H2 selectivity, CeO2 supported ones had better stability. This is attributed to the less coke formation on CeO2. Increasing Pt/Ni ratio enhanced the reaction activity, and Pt3–Ni7 catalysts with 3 wt% Pt and 7 wt% Ni showed the highest activity and stability. Ni surficial enrichment facilitated the C-C bond rupture and water gas shift reactions;and Pt addition inhibited methanation reaction. Electron transfer and hydrogen spillover from Pt to Ni suppressed carbon deposition. 14Dataset of Comparative Observations for Land Surface Processes over the Semi-Arid Alpine Grassland against Alpine Lakes in the Source Region of the Yellow River显示文摘Thousands of lakes on the Tibetan Plateau(TP) play a critical role in the regional water cycle, weather, and climate. In recent years, the areas of TP lakes underwent drastic changes and have become a research hotspot. However, the characteristics of the lake-atmosphere interaction over the high-altitude lakes are still unclear, which inhibits model development and the accurate simulation of lake climate effects. The source region of the Yellow River(SRYR) has the largest outflow lake and freshwater lake on the TP and is one of the most densely distributed lakes on the TP. Since 2011,three observation sites have been set up in the Ngoring Lake basin in the SRYR to monitor the lake-atmosphere interaction and the differences among water-heat exchanges over the land and lake surfaces. This study presents an eight-year(2012–19), half-hourly, observation-based dataset related to lake–atmosphere interactions composed of three sites. The three sites represent the lake surface, the lakeside, and the land. The observations contain the basic meteorological elements,surface radiation, eddy covariance system, soil temperature, and moisture(for land). Information related to the sites and instruments, the continuity and completeness of data, and the differences among the observational results at different sites are described in this study. These data have been used in the previous study to reveal a few energy and water exchange characteristics of TP lakes and to validate and improve the lake and land surface model. 16Sun-tracking Multi-layer Stereo-cultivation System Improves Canopy Light of Strawberry显示文摘In order to efficiently solve the shading problem between the upper layer and lower layer in the same cultivation system and between adjacent cultivation systems in multi-layer stereo-cultivation of strawberry,and to improve the fixed A-frame system,a novel cultivation system-sun-tracking system was developed that could keep north-south line of cultivation frame parallel to sunray to make the best use of direct light.In this study,crop canopy light condition of sun-tracking and fixed systems were tested and compared.Results showed that integrated PPF of sun-tracking system is higher than that of fixed system in both middle and lower layers.On sunny day compared with fixed system,integrated PPF on middle and lower layer of suntracking system increased by 16.0%,9.1% in January and 19.6%,4.1% in February,while on cloudy day improvement on light condition of sun-tracking system is not evident as sunny days.Thus sun-tracking system can effectively alleviate shading problem between layers and improve plant canopy light environment.Chunling WANG Jianing LI Yongzhi ZHAO Mingshan QU Weitang SONG Shumei ZHAO 2016Agricultural Science & Technology2016,17,7:0
17Optimization and Evaluation of a Vehicular Exhaust Heat Recovery System显示文摘Exhaust waste heat recovery system based on organic Rankine cycle(ORC)has been considered as an effective method to achieve energy conservation and emissions reduction of engine.The performance of adiesel engine with an on-board ORC exhaust heat recovery system was evaluated through simulations in this study.The combined system was optimized through controlling the exhaust gas mass flow rate entering the ORC system.The models of the engine with ORC system were developed in GT-suite and Simulink environment.The validation results showed high accuracy of the models.The performance of the system recovering heat from different exhaust gas mass flow rates was evaluated.The comparative analysis of the performance between the optimized and un-optimized system was also presented.The results indicated that the exhaust gas mass flow rate had significant effects on the system performance.Integration with the onboard ORC system could effectively improve the engine power performance.The power output of the engineORC combined system with optimization had further improvement,and the maximum improvement could reach up to 1.16 kW.Meng Zhao Mingshan Wei 2018Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2018,27,4:0
18Differential expression of 114 oxidative stress-related genes in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of acute cerebral infarction patients A gene microarray experiment显示文摘Previous studies have focused on the analysis of single or several function-related genes in oxidative stress;however,little information is available regarding altered expression of oxidative stress-related genes in the process of ischemia-reperfusion injury from microarray experiments.The aim of the present study was to investigate the changes in cell oxidative stress-and toxicity-related gene expression utilizing microarray screening in patients with acute cerebral infarction during cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.Of the included 114 genes,expression was significantly upregulated in eight genes,including three heat shock protein-related genes,one oxidative and metabolic stress-related gene,one cell growth arrest/senescence related gene,two apoptosis signal-related genes,and one DNA damage and repair related gene.Expression was significantly downregulated in four genes,including one cell proliferation/cancer related gene,two oxidative and metabolic stress-related genes and one DNA damage and repair related gene.The results demonstrated that cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in patients with acute cerebral infarction was affected by many genes including oxidative stress-,heat shock-,DNA damage and repair-,and apoptosis signal-related genes.Therefore,it could be suggested that cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury may be subjected to complex genetic regulation mechanisms.Jing Yang Fei Zhong Mingshan Ren Jiangming Zhao 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,15:0
