1Mechanism of the reconstruction of aqueous outflow drainage显示文摘Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. The reconstruction of aqueous outflow drainage (RAOD) has recently been proposed to aid in restoring aqueous outflow drainage in primary open-angle glaucoma. However, the mechanism of RAOD remains to be fully understood. Based on literature review and research studies, the potential mechanisms of RAOD are the following: (i) Circumferential dilation of the Schlemm’s canal (SC) and surrounding collector channels. (ii) Instant formation of microcracks through RAOD procedures. (iii) Formation of more pores, and local detachment between the SC endothelium (SCE) and basement membrane. (iv) Activation of stem cells by constant mechanical stress caused by the tensional suture placed at the anterior part of the SC. (v) Reversal of trabecular meshwork (TM) herniation. (vi) Mobilization of the reserve of the aqueous drainage. (vii) Change of SCE phenotype. 2Pressure balance and imbalance in the optic nerve chamber: The Beijing Intracranial and Intraocular Pressure (iCOP) Study显示文摘To determine the interdependence of intracranial pressure(ICP) and intraocular pressure(IOP) and how it affects optic nerve pressures, eight normal dogs were examined using pressure-sensing probes implanted into the left ventricle, lumbar cistern, optic nerve subarachnoid space in the left eye, and anterior chamber in the left eye. This allowed ICP, lumbar cistern pressure(LCP), optic nerve subarachnoid space pressure(ONSP) and IOP to be simultaneously recorded. After establishing baseline pressure levels, pressure changes that resulted from lowering ICP(via shunting cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) from the ventricle) were recorded. At baseline, all examined pressures were different(ICP>LCP>ONSP), but correlated(P<0.001). As ICP was lowered during CSF shunting, IOP also dropped in a parallel time course so that the trans-lamina cribrosa gradient(TLPG) remained stable(ICP-IOP dependent zone). However, once ICP fell below a critical breakpoint, ICP and IOP became uncoupled and TLPG changed as ICP declined(ICP-IOP independent zone). The optic nerve pressure gradient(ONPG) and trans-optic nerve pressure gradient(TOPG) increased linearly as ICP decreased through both the ICP-IOP dependent and independent zones. We conclude that ICP and IOP are coupled in a specific pressure range, but when ICP drops below a critical point, IOP and ICP become uncoupled and TLPG increases. When ICP drops, a rise in the ONPG and TOPG creates more pressure and reduces CSF flow around the optic nerve. 3Burden of pancreatitis and associated risk factors in China,1990 to 2019:a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019显示文摘Background: Pancreatitis is a common disease of the digestive system. Acute pancreatitis is one of the most common reasons for gastrointestinal hospital admission, and chronic pancreatitis significantly reduces quality of life. However, national epidemiological data on pancreatitis in China are lacking. This study aimed to quantify the disease burden of pancreatitis in China from 1990 to 2019.Methods: This study was based on the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019 dataset. Age-standardized rates of incidence (ASIR), prevalence (ASPR), mortality (ASMR), and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) were used to describe the disease burden of pancreatitis, and estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) was used to indicate the average change in age-standardized rates. We also described the trend of pancreatitis-related mortality and DALYs, which are attributable to alcohol use by age and sex.Results: From 1990 to 2019, the ASIR, ASPR, ASMR, and age-standardized DALYs of pancreatitis in China decreased by 10.90, 1.50, 0.49, and 15.54 per 100,000, respectively, with EAPCs of -1.35 (95% uncertainty interval [UI]: -1.67, -1.02) and -0.37 (95% UI: -0.43, -0.31), -2.01 (95% UI: -2.07, -1.94) and -2.32 (95% UI: -2.37, -2.28), respectively. Recently, the numbers of incident and prevalent cases have risen, with estimates of 380,018 (95% UI: 308,669-462,767) and 493,765 (95% UI: 416,705-578,675), respectively, in 2019. Among men, the disease burden of pancreatitis was more severe than among women, and with variances in the distribution among different age groups. Age-standardized DALYs caused by alcohol-related pancreatitis have gradually worsened in the past decade, accounting for 34.09% of the total in 2019.Conclusions: The disease burden of pancreatitis in China has declined in the past 30 years, but the exacerbation of population aging poses a challenge to prevention and control of pancreatitis. 6Silver nanoparticle labeled immunoresonance scattering spectral assay for trace fibrinogen显示文摘Silver nanoparticles in size of 8.0 nm was prepared by the trisodium citrate and used to label goat anti-human fibrinogen. In the pH 5.8 Na2HPO4-NaH2O4 buffer solution (PBS) and in the presence of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and KCl, the immune reaction between silver-labeled goat anti-human fibrinogen and fibrinogen took place and led the resonance scattering intensity at 465 nm (I465) to decreasing. The I465 decreased intensity was linear to the fibrinogen concentration in the range from 0.067 to 1.67 μg/mL, with a detection limit of 0.024 μg/mL. 10Scallop ice shape characteristics of swept wing based on large-scale icing wind tunnel experiment显示文摘Scallop ice is a special phenomenon that occurs during swept wing aircraft passing through icing clouds.It poses a great challenge for the icing safety assessment that the complex scallop ice shape feature and its mechanism are still unclear.In this work,a large-scale icing wind tunnel experiment of swept wing designed by NACA0012 airfoil is conducted in the Icing Wind Tunnel of China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center.The detailed three-dimensional ice shapes under 0°,15°,30°and 45°swept angles are obtained by laser scanning technology.The experimental results show that with the swept angle increasing from 0°to 45°,the 2D double ice horn structures show certain spanwise variation,and finally transform into complete scallop ice with ice thickness greatly enhanced in the stagnation line region.The empirical mode decomposition of the spanwise ice curve captures the high-frequency fluctuation on the scallop ice caused by the small-scale roughness element,while the trend with low frequency is not obvious.Based on the experimental data,a new complete scallop ice geometric model,named 5Points-5Lines-2Arcs(5P-5L-2A)model,is proposed,which can provide important basis for the quantitative description of complex scallop ice shape.Qiang WANG Ningli CHEN Yuanbo WANG Weihao LI Yu LIU Xian YI 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,12:0

12An Efficient Trap Passivator for Perovskite Solar Cells:Poly(propylene glycol)bis(2‑aminopropyl ether)显示文摘Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are regarded as promising candidates for future renewable energy production.High-density defects in the perovskite films,however,lead to unsatisfactory device performances.Here,poly(propylene glycol)bis(2-aminopropyl ether)(PEA)additive is utilized to passivate the trap states in perovskite.The PEA molecules chemically interact with lead ions in perovskite,considerably passivate surface and bulk defects,which is in favor of charge transfer and extraction.Furthermore,the PEA additive can efficiently block moisture and oxygen to prolong the device lifetime.As a result,PEA-treated MAPbI3(MA:CH3NH3)solar cells show increased power conversion efficiency(PCE)(from 17.18 to 18.87%)and good longterm stability.When PEA is introduced to(FAPbI3)1-x(MAPbBr3)x(FA:HC(NH2)2)solar cells,the PCE is enhanced from 19.66 to 21.60%.For both perovskites,their severe device hysteresis is efficiently relieved by PEA.Ningli Chen Xiaohui Yi Jing Zhuang Yuanzhi Wei Yanyan Zhang Fuyi Wang Shaokui Cao Cheng Li Jizheng Wang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,12:0
