1Chemical kinetics study of hydrocarbon regeneration from organic matter in carbonate source rocks and its significance显示文摘In the comparison research of hydrocarbon regeneration, a low maturity carbonate source rock is heated to different temperatures in a gold tube to obtain a series of samples with different maturities. Then, the heated samples, before and after extraction, are subjected to Rock-Eval pyrolysis through a thermal simulation of hydrocarbon regeneration in order to inspect pyrolysis characteristics and probe into the characteristics of the chemical kinetics of each sample. The results indicate that, whether hy- drocarbon regeneration peak is delayed or advanced, the potential of hydrocarbon regeneration is closely related to the expulsion amount and breakdown maturity of primary hydrocarbon generation. After extraction, the average activation energy of artificially maturated samples increases with the in- creasing maturity, but the chemical kinetic properties of un-extracted samples decrease. The calibrated chemical kinetic models that describe extracted and un-extracted samples are applied to the Bohai Bay and the Songliao Basin, and the results indicate that the combination of the two models can explain some contradictory conclusions previously reported. 2MIKC^(C)-type MADS-box genes in Rosa chinensis: the remarkable expansion of ABCDE model genes and their roles in floral organogenesis显示文摘MIKC^(C)-type MADS-box(MIKC^(C))genes encode transcription factors that have crucial roles in controlling floral organogenesis and flowering time in plants.Although this gene family has been well characterized in many plant species,its evolutionary and comprehensive functional analysis in rose is lacking.In this study,58 non-redundant MIKC^(C)uni-transcripts were extensively identified from rose transcriptomes.Phylogenetic analysis placed these genes into 12 clades with their Arabidopsis and strawberry counterparts,and revealed that ABCDE model(including AP1/FUL,AP3/PI,AG,and SEP clades),and SOC1 and AGL6 clade genes have remarkably expanded in Rosa chinensis,whereas genes from the FLC and AGL17 clades were undetectable.Sequence alignments suggest that the AP3/PI clade may contribute to more specific functions in rose due to a high variation of amino acid residues within its MADS-box domains.A comparative analysis of gene expression in specific floral organ differentiation stages and floral organs between R.chinensis cv.Old Blush and the closely related mutant genotype R.chinensis cv.Viridiflora(floral organs mutated into leaf-like structures)further revealed the roles of ABCDE model genes during floral organogenesis in rose.Analysis of co-expression networks provided an overview of the regulatory mechanisms of rose MIKC^(C)genes and shed light on both the prominent roles of AP3/PI clade genes in floral organogenesis and the roles of RcAGL19,RcAGL24,and RcSOC1 in regulating floral transition in rose.Our analyses provide an overall insight of MIKC^(C)genes in rose and their potential roles in floral organogenesis.Jinyi Liu Xiaodong Fu Yuwei Dong Jun Lu Min Ren Ningning Zhou Changquan Wang 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:7
3Q-switching of waveguide lasers based on graphene/WS_2 van der Waals heterostructure显示文摘We report on the operation of passively Q-switched waveguide lasers at 1 μm wavelength based on a graphene∕WS_2 heterostructure as a saturable absorber(SA). The gain medium is a crystalline Nd:YVO_4 cladding waveguide produced by femtosecond laser writing. The nanosecond waveguide laser operation at 1064 nm has been realized with the maximum average output power of 275 m W and slope efficiency of 37%. 4Defect inspection of flip chip package using SAM technology and fuzzy C-means algorithm显示文摘Solder bumps are widely used in surface mount components, which provide electrical and mechanical connection between the chip/package and the substrate. As the solder bump getting smaller in dimension and pitch, it becomes more difficult to inspect the solder defects hidden in the IC package. In this paper, an intelligent inspection method using the scanning acoustic microscopy(SAM) and the fuzzy C-means(FCM) algorithm was investigated. A flip chip package of FA10 was chosen as the test sample. The SAM tests of FA10 were carried out in C-scan mode. The sub-image of every solder bump was segmented from the SAM image. The statistical features were then calculated and adopted for clustering of solder bumps using the FCM algorithm. The recognition results of FCM reached a high accuracy of 94.3%. 5Hybrid speciation via inheritance of alternate alleles of parental isolating genes显示文摘It is increasingly realized that homoploid hybrid speciation(HHS),which involves no change in chromosome number,is an important mechanism of speciation.HHS will likely increase in frequency as ecological and geographical barriers between species are continuing to be disrupted by human activities.HHS requires the establishment of reproductive isolation between a hybrid and its parents,but the underlying genes and genetic mechanisms remain largely unknown.In this study,we reveal by integrated approaches that reproductive isolation originates in one homoploid hybrid plant species through the inheritance of altemate alleles at genes that determine parental premating isolation.The parent species of this hybrid species are reproductively isolated by differences in flowering time and survivorship on soils containing high concentrations of iron.We found that the hybrid species inherits alleles of parental isolating major genes related to flowering time from one parent and alleles of major genes related to iron tolerance from the other parent.In this way,it became reproductively isolated from one parent by the difference in flowering time and from the other by habitat adaptation(iron tolerance).These findings and further modeling results suggest that HHS may occur relatively easily via the inheritance of alternate parental premating isolating genes and barriers.Zefu Wang Yuanzhong Jiang Hao Bi Zhiqiang Lu Yazhen Ma Xiaoyue Yang Ningning Chen Bin Tian Bingbing Liu Xingxing Mao Tao Ma Stephen P.DiFazio Quanjun Hu Richard J.Abbott Jianquan Liu 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,2:4

7Regulation of Leaf Longevity by DML3-Mediated DNA Demethylation显示文摘Leaf senescence is driven by the expression of senescence-associated genes(SAGs).Development-specific genes often undergo DNA demethylation in their promoter and other regions,which regulates gene expression.Whether and how DNA demethylation regulates the expression of SAGs and thus leaf senescence remain elusive.Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing(WGBS)analyses of wild-type(WT)and demeter-like 3(dml3)Arabidopsis leaves at three developmental stages revealed hypermethylation during leaf senescence in dml3 compared with WT,and 20556 differentially methylated regions(DMRs)were identified by comparing the methylomes of dml3 and WT in the CG,CHG,and CHH contexts.Furthermore,we identified that 335 DMR-associated genes(DMGs),such as NAC016 and SEN1,are upregulated during leaf senescence,and found an inverse correlation between the DNA methylation levels(especially in the promoter regions)and the transcript abundances of the related SAGs in WT.In contrast,in dml3 the promoters of SAGs were hypermethylated and their transcript levels were remarkably reduced,and leaf senescence was significantly delayed.Collectively,our study unraveled a novel epigenetic regulatory mechanism underlying leaf senescence in which DML3 is expressed at the onset of and during senescence to demethylate promoter,gene body or 3'UTR regions to activate a set of SAGs.Lu Yuan Dan Wang Liwen Cao Ningning Yu Ke Liu Yongfeng Guo Susheng Gan Liping Chen 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,8:3

9Synergistic Effects of External Electric Field and Solvent Vapor Annealing with Different Polarities to Enhance β-Phase and Carrier Mobility of the Poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene)Films显示文摘In this work,the synergistice efects of external electric field(EEF)and solvent vapor annealing to enhanceβ-phase and carrier mobility of poly(9,9-dioctylfuorene)(PFO)films were investigated.It is found that EEF can promote the PFOβ-phase conformation transition and orientate the PFO chains along the EEF direction with the as-sistance of polar solvent vapor annealing.PFO chain orderness is closely related to the solvent polarity.In particular,the B-phase content in the annealed film of strong polar chloroform vapor increases from 18.7%to 34.9%after EEF treatment.Meanwhile a characteristic needle-like crystal is formed in the flm,as a result,the hole mobility is en-hanced by an order of magnitude.The mechanism can be attributed to the fast polarization of solvent dipole under the action of EEF,thus forming a driving force that greatly facilitates the orientation of PFO dipole unit.Research also reveals that EEF driving of the PFO chains does not occur with an insoluble solvent vapor since the solvent molecules cannot swell the film,thus there is insufficient free volume for PFO chains to adjust their conformation.This research enriches the understanding of the relationship between solvent vapor annealing and EEF in orientation polymers,and this method is simple and controlled,and capable of integrating into large-area thin film process,which provides new insights to manufacture low-cost and highly ordered polymer films,and is of great significance to enhance carrier mobility and efficiency of photoelectric devices based on polymer condensed matter physics.MATengning SONG Ningning QIU Jing ZHANG Hao LU Dan 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:2
10Nonvolatile waveguide transmission tuning with electrically-driven ultra-small GST phase-change material显示文摘Low-power reconfigurable optical circuits are highly demanded to satisfy a variety of different applications. Conventional electro-optic and thermo-optic refractive index tuning methods in silicon photonics are not suitable for reconfiguration of optical circuits due to their high static power consumption and volatility. We propose and demonstrate a nonvolatile tuning method by utilizing the reversible phase change property of GST integrated on top of the silicon waveguide. The phase change is enabled by applying electrical pulses to the lm-sized GST active region in a sandwich structure. 11Comparisons of stable isotopic fractionation in winter and summer at Baishui Glacier No.1,Mt.Yulong,China显示文摘Based on the data of δ18O in surface snow, snow pits, meltwater and the glacier-fed river water at Baishui Glacier No.1, Mt. Yulong, the isotopic fractionation behaviors in the typical monsoonal temperate glacier system in winter and summer were compared. The results indicate that the isotopic fractionation degree in summer is greater than that in winter, suggesting that the snow/ice melting is more intense in summer. Moreover, whenever it is in winter or summer, from surface snow to meltwater, and to glacier-fed river water, the gradient of δ18O with altitude gradually increases. 12Down-staging depth score could be a survival predictor for locally advanced gastric cancer patients after preoperative chemoradiotherapy显示文摘Objective:The predictive effect of preoperative chemoradiotherapy(CRT)is low and difficult in guiding individualized treatment.We examined a surrogate endpoint for long-term outcomes in locally advanced gastric cancer patients after preoperative CRT.Methods:From April 2012 to April 2019,95 patients with locally advanced gastric cancer who received preoperative concurrent CRT and who were enrolled in three prospective studies were included.All patients were stage T_(3/4) N_(+).Local control,distant metastasis-free survival(DMFS),disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)were evaluated.Clinicopathological factors related to long-term prognosis were analyzed using univariate and multivariate analyses.The down-staging depth score(DDS),which is a novel method of evaluating CRT response,was used to predict long-term outcomes.Results:The median follow-up period for survivors was 30 months.The area under the curve(AUC)of the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve predicted by the DDS was 0.728,which was better than the pathological complete response(pCR),histological response and ypN0.Decision curve analysis further affirmed that DDS had the largest net benefit.The DDS cut-off value was 4.pCR and ypN0 were associated with OS(P=0.026 and 0.049).Surgery and DDS are correlated with DMFS,DFS and OS(surgery:P=0.001,<0.001 and<0.001,respectively;and DDS:P=0.009,0.013 and 0.032,respectively).Multivariate analysis showed that DDS was an independent prognostic factor of DFS(P=0.021).Conclusions:DDS is a simple,short-term indicator that was a better surrogate endpoint than pCR,histological response and ypN0 for DFS.Ning Li Xin Wang Yuan Tang Dongbin Zhao Yihebali Chi Lin Yang Liming Jiang Jun Jiang Jinming Shi Wenyang Liu Hua Ren Hui Fang Yu Tang Bo Chen Ningning Lu Hao Jing Shunan Qi Shulian Wang Yueping Liu Yongwen Song Yexiong Li Jing Jin 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4:1
13Flexible multilayer lead-free film capacitor with high energy storage performances via heterostructure engineering显示文摘The immense potential of flexible energy storage materials applied in wearable electronic devices hasstimulated a lot of science researches on manufacturing technology and performance optimization.Herein, an all-inorganic flexible ferroelectric film with multilayer heterostructure is prepared based onMn doped Bi0.5Na0.5TiO_(3)eBiNi0.5Zr0.5O_(3) (Mn:BNT-BNZ) and Bi0.5Na0.5TiO_(3)eBiZn0.5Zr0.5O_(3) (BNT-BZZ)relaxor ferroelectrics. A win-win situation of breakdown strength and polarization is achieved in theMn:BNT-BNZ/BNT-BZZ multilayer film with the stacking period N - 3, of which energy density and ef-ficiency reach 80.4 J/cm3 and 62.0% respectively. It is proposed that the excellent energy storage per-formances are attributed to the synergistic effect of the electric field amplification effect, interfaceblocking effect and the polarization coupling effect based on the multilayer heterostructure. Moreover,the flexible ferroelectric film exhibits outstanding temperature (25e205 - C), frequency (0.5e5 kHz)stability and antifatigue property (1 108 cycles), and can well maintain stable performance at differenttensile/compressive bending radii (10e5 mm) and even after 104 bending cycles with a fixed bendingradius of 3 mm. 16Structural insights into the membrane microdomain organization by SPFH family proteins显示文摘The lateral segregation of membrane constituents into functional microdomains,conceptually known as lipid raft,is a universal organization principle for cellular membranes in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.The widespread Stomatin,Prohibitin,Flotillin,and HflK/C(SPFH)family proteins are enriched in functional membrane microdomains at various subcellular locations,and therefore were hypothesized to play a scaffolding role in microdomain formation.In addition,many SPFH proteins are also implicated in highly specific processes occurring on the membrane.However,none of these functions is understood at the molecular level.Here we report the structure of a supramolecular complex that is isolated from bacterial membrane microdomains and contains two SPFH proteins(HflK and HflC)and a membrane-anchored AAA+protease FtsH.HflK and HflC form a circular 24-mer assembly,featuring a laterally segregated membrane microdomain(20 nm in diameter)bordered by transmembrane domains of HflK/C and a completely sealed periplasmic vault.Four FtsH hexamers are embedded inside this microdomain through interactions with the inner surface of the vault.These observations provide a mechanistic explanation for the role of HflK/C and their mitochondrial homologs prohibitins in regulating membrane-bound AAA+proteases,and suggest a general model for the organization and functionalization of membrane microdomains by SPFH proteins.Chengying Ma Chengkun Wang Dingyi Luo Lu Yan Wenxian Yang Ningning Li Ning Gao 2022Cell Research2022,32,2:0

18Molecular Cloning, Characterization and Sequence Analysis of KCNQ4 in Large Odorous Frog, Odorrana graminea显示文摘Acoustic communication is essential for anuran survival and reproduction, and masking background noise can affect the effective acoustic communication. The larger odorous frog(Odorrana graminea) inhabits noise montane streams, and it has shown an ultrasound communication adaptation. However, the molecular mechanism underlying their ultrasonic hearing adaptation remains unknown. To characterize and investigate the molecular characteristics and evolution of the high-frequency hearing-sensitive gene(KCNQ4) in O. graminea, termed as OgKCNQ4, the rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE) was performed to amplify the cDNA of OgKCNQ4. Different bioinformatics analyses were used to investigate the molecular characteristics. Multiple nucleotide and amino acid sequence alignment were conducted, and phylogenies were reconstructed under the maximum likelihood and Bayesian approaches. The full-length cDNA of OgKCNQ4 was 2065 bp, and the open reading frame(ORF) was 2046 bp encoding for a putative protein with 681 amino acids. The relative molecular weight of OgKCNQ4 was 76.453 kD and the putative PI was 9.69. Secondary structure prediction analyses suggested 42.29% alpha helixes and 43.76% random coils in OgKCNQ4. Gene homology and Phylogenetic analyses revealed the closest relationship between OgKCNQ4 and KCNQ4 of Nanorana parkeri with 96.9% similarity and 95.0% identity. 20The most tenuous group query显示文摘Rtecently a lot of works have been investigating to find the tenuous groups,i.e.,groups with few social interactions and weak relationships among members,for reviewer selection and psycho-educational group formation.However,the metrics(e.g.,k-triangle,k-line,and k-tenuity)used to measure the tenuity,require a suitable k value to be specified which is difficult for users without background knowledge.Thus,in this paper we formulate the most tenuous group(MTG)query in terms of the group distance and average group distance of a group measuring the tenuity to eliminate the influence of parameter k on the tenuity of the group.To address the MTG problem,we first propose an exact algorithm,namely MTGVDIS,which takes priority to selecting those vertices whose vertex distance is large,to generate the result group,and also utilizes effective filtering and pruning strategies.Since MTGVDIS is not fast enough,we design an efficient exact algorithm,called MTG-VDGE,which exploits the degree metric to sort the vertexes and proposes a new combination order,namely degree and reverse based branch and bound(DRBB).MTG-VDGE gives priority to those vertices with small degree.For a large p,we further develop an approximation algorithm,namely MTG-VDLT,which discards candidate attendees with high degree to reduce the number of vertices to be considered.The experimental results on real datasets manifest that the proposed algorithms outperform existing approaches on both efficiency and group tenuity.Na LI Huaijie ZHU Wenhao LU Ningning CUI Wei LIU Jian YIN Jianliang XU Wang-Chien LEE 2023Frontiers of Computer Science2023,17,2:0
