| 6 | The role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in gastrointestinal cancer显示文摘Gastrointestinal(GI)cancer encompasses a range ofmalignancies that originate in the digestive system,which together represent the most common form of cancer diagnosed worldwide.However,despite numerous advances in both diagnostics and treatment,the incidence and mortality rate of GI cancer are on the rise.Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)are a heterogeneous population of immature myeloid cells that increase in number under certain pathological conditions,such as infection and inflammation,and this expansion is of particular relevance to cancer.MDSCs are heavily involved in the regulation of the immune system and act to dampen its response to tumors,favoring the escape of tumor cells from immunosurveillance and increasing both metastasis and recurrence.Several recent studies have supported the use of MDSCs as a prognostic and predictive biomarker in patientswith cancer,and potentially as a novel treatment target.In the present review,the mechanisms underlying the immunosuppressive functions of MDSCs are described,and recent researches concerning the involvement of MDSCs in the progression,prognosis,and therapies of GI cancer are reviewed.The aim of this work was to present the development of novel treatments targeting MDSCs in GI cancer in the hope of improving outcomes for patients with this condition. | Cheng Cui Penglin Lan Li Fu | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,6: | 1 |

| 14 | Fatigue Damage Mechanism of AL6XN Austenitic Stainless Steel at High Temperatures显示文摘By the combination of transmission electron microscope, neutron diffraction and small-angle neutron scattering methods, mechanical fatigue behavior of AL6XN austenitic stainless steel was investigated in the temperature range of 400–600 °C. At 400 °C, in addition to the occurrence of dynamic strain aging, the formation of short-range order was evidenced from the forbidden electron diffraction spot of 1/3 {422} in face-centered cubic(fcc) structure viewed down [111] zone axis, which facilitate the planar slip mode of dislocation and result in the work hardening during the fatigue deformation. The fatigue damage is mainly dominated by the accumulation of planar slip band and the interaction among various slip systems. With increasing temperature, precipitates of chi phase, Laves phase and sigma phase were formed during the fatigue tests at 500 and 600 °C. An increase in precipitation content at 600 °C has also been confirmed by both scanning electron microscope and small-angle neutron scattering analysis. The dislocation pileup originating from the uncoordinated deformation between precipitate and austenitic matrix is an important fatigue damage leading to crack. | 15 | Discovery and inspiration of large-and medium-sized glutenite-rich oil and gas fields in the eastern South China Sea:An example from Paleogene Enping Formation in Huizhou 26 subsag,Pearl River Mouth Basin显示文摘Based on the practice of oil and gas exploration in the Huizhou Sag of the Pearl River Mouth Basin,the geochemical indexes of source rocks were measured,the reservoir development morphology was restored,the rocks and minerals were characterized microscopically,the measured trap sealing indexes were compared,the biomarker compounds of crude oil were extracted,the genesis of condensate gas was identified,and the reservoir-forming conditions were examined.On this basis,the Paleogene Enping Formation in the Huizhou 26 subsag was systematically analyzed for the potential of oil and gas resources,the development characteristics of large-scale high-quality conglomerate reservoirs,the trapping effectiveness of faults,the hydrocarbon migration and accumulation model,and the formation conditions and exploration targets of large-and medium-sized glutenite-rich oil and gas fields.The research results were obtained in four aspects.First,the Paleogene Wenchang Formation in the Huizhou 26 subsag develops extensive and thick high-quality source rocks of semi-deep to deep lacustrine subfacies,which have typical hydrocarbon expulsion characteristics of'great oil generation in the early stage and huge gas expulsion in the late stage',providing a sufficient material basis for hydrocarbon accumulation in the Enping Formation.Second,under the joint control of the steep slope zone and transition zone of the fault within the sag,the large-scale near-source glutenite reservoirs are highly heterogeneous,with the development scale dominated hierarchically by three factors(favorable facies zone,particle component,and microfracture).The(subaqueous)distributary channels near the fault system,with equal grains,a low mud content(<5%),and a high content of feldspar composition,are conducive to the development of sweet spot reservoirs.Third,the strike-slip pressurization trap covered by stable lake flooding mudstone is a necessary condition for oil and gas preservation,and the NE and nearly EW faults obliquely to the principal stress have the best control on traps.Fourth,the spatiotemporal configuration of high-quality source rocks,fault transport/sealing,and glutenite reservoirs controls the degree of hydrocarbon enrichment.From top to bottom,three hydrocarbon accumulation units,i.e.low-fill zone,transition zone,and high-fill zone,are recognized.The main area of the channel in the nearly pressurized source-connecting fault zone is favorable for large-scale hydrocarbon enrichment.The research results suggest a new direction for the exploration of large-scale glutenite-rich reservoirs in the Enping Formation of the Pearl River Mouth Basin,and present a major breakthrough in oil and gas exploration. | XU Changgui GAO Yangdong LIU Jun PENG Guangrong LIU Pei XIONG Wanlin SONG Penglin | 2024 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2024,51,1: | 0 |

| 17 | Equilibria between the K^+ binding and cation vacancy conformations of potassium channels显示文摘Dear Editor, Potassium channels are integral membrane proteins that selectively con duct K^+ ions across cell membra ne (Hille, 2001). They play essential roles in maintaining cellular ionic homoeostasis and generating action membrane potentials in excitable cells. The mechanism of K^+ selectivity has been evaluated in many biophysical and physiological studies (Zhou et al., 2001;Liu et al., 2015;Schewe et al., 2016). A highly con served signature seque nee, TVGYG, in the selectivity filter of potassium channels (e.g., KcsA) is known to coordinate K^+ ions (Zhou et al., 2001). Carbonyls of these residues point toward the pore, forming four continuous ion binding sites (S1-S4) and resulting in higher selectivity for K^+ over Na^+(Zhou et al., 2001). The NaK channel from Bacillus cereus is a norvselective cation channel that shares high structural homology with KcsA (Shi et al., 2006). Owing to a distinctive primary sequenee of 63TVGDG67, the selectivity filter of NaK preserves only two ion binding sites, allocated similarly as S3 and S4 in KcsA (Alam and Jiang, 2009a, b). Remarkably, the D66Y and N68D double mutations of NaK channel (Fig. S1) transform it into a K^+ selective channel (termed as NaK2K)(Sauer et al., 2013). Crystal structure of NaK and NaK2K have revealed distinet binding coordination of Na^+ and K^+ ions in their selectivity filter (Figs. S2 and S3)(Alam and Jiang, 2009a, b;Sauer et al., 2013). However, dynamics of the NaK and NaK2K selectivity filter with the bind泊g of Na+ or K^+ are still elusive. | 19 | Unsupervised GRNN flood mapping approach combined with uncertainty analysis using bi-temporal Sentinel-2 MSI imageries显示文摘Floods occur frequently worldwide.The timely,accurate mapping of the flooded areas is an important task.Therefore,an unsupervised approach is proposed for automated flooded area mapping from bitemporal Sentinel-2 multispectral images in this paper.First,spatial–spectral features of the images before and after the flood are extracted to construct the change magnitude image(CMI).Then,the certain flood pixels and non-flood pixels are obtained by performing uncertainty analysis on the CMI,which are considered reliable classification samples.Next,Generalized Regression Neural Network(GRNN)is used as the core classifier to generate the initial flood map.Finally,an easy-toimplement two-stage post-processing is proposed to reduce the mapping error of the initial flood map,and generate the final flood map.Different from other methods based on machine learning,GRNN is used as the classifier,but the proposed approach is automated and unsupervised because it uses samples automatically generated in uncertainty analysis for model training.Results of comparative experiments in the three sub-regions of the Poyang Lake Basin demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.Moreover,its superiority in dealing with uncertain pixels is further proven by comparing the classification accuracy of different methods on uncertain pixels. | Qi Zhang Penglin Zhang Xudong Hua | 2021 | International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,11: | 0 |
