1Formability,microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of wire arc additively manufactured AZ80M magnesium alloy using gas tungsten arc welding显示文摘Wire arc additive manufacturing(WAAM)technology has been used to fabricate the multi-layer single-pass deposited wall of AZ80M magnesium(Mg)alloy by gas tungsten arc welding.The formability,thermal cycles,microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of the WAAM AZ80M Mg alloy were investigated.The results show that there was significant difference in the temperature variation and the geometries between the original several layers and the subsequent deposited layers.Owing to the arc energy input,the interpass temperature rised rapidly and then stabilized at 150℃.As a result,the width of the deposited wall increased and then kept stable.There were obvious differences in the microstructure of the WAAM AZ80M Mg alloy among the top zone,intermediate zone and bottom zone of deposited wall.During the arc deposition process,theβphase of the WAAM AZ80M Mg alloy redissolved due to the cyclic heat accumulation,and then precipitated in the grain boundary.The cyclic heat accumulation also led to weakening of dendrite segregation.From the substrate to the top zone,the hardness of the deposited wall decreased gradually,and the intermediate zone which was the main body of deposited wall had relatively uniform hardness.The tensile properties of the WAAM AZ80M Mg alloy were different between the vertical direction and the horizontal direction.And the maximum ultimate tensile strength of the WAAM AZ80M Mg alloy was 308 MPa which was close to that of the as-extruded AZ80M Mg alloy.Yangyang Guo Gaofeng Quan Yinglong Jiang Lingbao Ren Lingling Fan Houhong Pan 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,1:10

3Trace bis-(3-sulfopropyl)-disulfide enhanced electrodeposited copper foils显示文摘Smooth and strong copper foils are highly required for the development of printed circuit boards and Li-ion batteries.Adding additives is an efficient and low-cost method to enhance electrodeposited copper foils.Here we chose Bis-(3-sulfopropyl)-disulfide(SPS)as the additive and investigated its concentration on the surface roughness and tensile strength of the electrodeposited copper foils.A copper foil with the smoothest surface(Rz=2.1μm)and the highest tensile strength(~338 MPa)was prepared with1.5 mg/L SPS.The contact angle on the copper foil decreased with the reduction of surface roughness.The enhancing mechanism of the SPS was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.The refined grain and enhanced(220)texture were considered to be the radical reason for the smooth and strong copper foils.The electrochemical results prove the suppressing effect is related to the SPS adsorption.Lingling Liu Yeqiang Bu Yue Sun Jianfeng Pan Jiabin Liu Jien Ma Lin Qiu Youtong Fang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,15:6
4Recombinant adenovirus-p53(Gendicine) sensitizes a pancreatic carcinoma cell line to radiation显示文摘Objective:In this study,we examine the effects of recombinant adenovirus-p53(rAd-p53)on the pancreatic carcinoma cell line SW1990.Specifically,we determine if expression of rAd-p53 sensitizes these cells to radiation.Methods:Following transfection of SW1990 cells with rAd-p53,we measured expression of P53,P21 and Bax by immunocytochemistry.Both transfected and control cell lines were irradiated with a range of doses,and the survival fractions(SF)were calculated.Dose survival curves were constructed and modeled for comparison.Results:Transfection of SW1990 cells with rAd-p53 resulted in increased expression of P53,P21 and Bax in a time-dependent manner.At 96 h after transfection,89.92%of cells expressed P53,56.8%expressed P21,and 76.50%expressed Bax.The SF following radiation was lower in the rAd-p53 transfected cells compared to the control cells,suggesting that rAd-p53 sensitizes SW1990 cells to radiation(D0for the experimental and control groups was 2.199 and 2.462,respectively).Conclusions:Use of the adenoviral vector is an effective means of transfecting SW1990 cells with wild-type P53,and this sensitizes the cell line to irradiation.This work suggests that combining rAd-p53with radiation therapy in pancreatic cancer may be therapeutically beneficial.Jinluan Li Jianji Pan Xianggao Zhu Ying Su Lingling Bao Sufang Qiu Changyan Zou Yong Cai Junxin Wu Ivan W.K.Tham 2013Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,6:6
5Recycling Isolation of Plant DNA,A Novel Method显示文摘DNA is one of the most basic and essential genetic materials in the field of molecular biology.To date,isolation of sufficient and good-quality DNA is still a challenge for many plant species,though various DNA extraction methods have been published.In the present paper,a recycling DNA extraction method was proposed.The key step of this method was that a single plant tissue sample was recycled for DNA extraction for up to four times,and correspondingly four DNA precipitations(termed as the 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th DNA sample, respectively) were conducted.This recycling step was integrated into the conventional CTAB DNA extraction method to establish a recycling CTAB method.This modified CTAB method was tested in eight plant species,wheat,sorghum,barley,corn,rice,Brachypodium distachyon,Miscanthus sinensis and tung tree.The results showed that high-yield and good-quality DNA samples could be obtained by using this new method in all the eight plant species.The DNA samples were good templates for PCR amplification of both ISSR and SSR markers.The recycling method can be used in multiple plant species and can be integrated with multiple conventional DNA isolation methods,and thus is an effective and universal DNA isolation method.Lingling Zhang Bo Wang Lei Pan Junhua Peng 2013Journal of Genetics and Genomics2013,40,1:5
6Effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ80M magnesium alloy fabricated by wire arc additive manufacturing显示文摘To maximize the benefits of wire arc additive manufacturing(WAAM)processes,the effect of post-deposition heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of WAAM AZ80M magnesium(Mg)alloy was investigated.Three different heat treatment procedures(T4,T5 and T6)were performed.According to the results,after T4 heat treatment,the microsegregation of alloying elements was improved with the eutectic structure dissolved.Samples after T5 heat treatment inherited the net-like distribution of secondary phases similar to the as-deposited sample,where the eutectic structure covering the interdendritic regions and theβ-phase precipitated around the eutectic structure.After T6 heat treatment,the tinyβ-phases re-precipitated from the matrix and distributed in inner and outer of the grains.The hardness distribution of the samples went through T4 and T6 heat treatment was more uniform in comparison to that of T5 heat treated samples.The tensile test showed that the T6 heat treatment improved the strength and ductility,and the anisotropy between horizontal and vertical can be eliminated.Moreover,T4 treated samples exhibited highest ductility.Yangyang Guo Gaofeng Quan Mert Celikin Lingbao Ren Yuhang Zhan Lingling Fan Houhong Pan 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,7:5

9Trans-cinnamaldehyde promotes nitric oxide release via the protein kinase-B/v-Akt murine thymoma viral oncogene-endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway to alleviate hypertension in SHR.Cg-Lepr^(cp)/NDmcr rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate whether endothelial dysfunction and hypertension are prevented by trans-cinnamaldehyde(t CA) through the activation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(e NOS).METHODS:Human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) were cultured in vitro and stimulated with t CA to determine cell viability using the methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium assay.The effect of t CA on nitric oxide(NO) production was determined by diaminofluorescein-dyes in the absence or presence of inhibitors of e NOS,AMPK,PKA,and AKT.The effect of t CA on blood pressure was determined by the tail-cuff method in obesity spontaneous hypertension(SHR.Cg-Leprcp/NDmcr) rats.The phosphorylation of e NOS and protein expression of the insulin-signaling pathway(Ins R-IRS1-PI3 K-AKT)were measured by western blot.RESULTS:t CA at concentrations less than 100 μM did not affect cell viability in cultured HUVECs.Stimulation with t CA promoted NO release in a time-dependent manner compared with the control group.t CA-treated HUVECs also significantly increased AKT-Ser473 and e NOS-Ser1177 phosphorylation.In SHR-CP rats,treatment with t CA at a dose of 40 mg/kg/day for 6 weeks markedly reduced the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure,increased the phosphorylation of AKT and e NOS,and increased urinary nitric oxidation.CONCLUSION:t CA attenuated endothelial dysfunction and reduced blood pressure in SHR-CP rats.The underlying mechanisms may involve the increase in AKT and e NOS phosphorylation and the release of e NOS-derived NO.Zhang Lu Wu Lili Liu Ximing Yoshitomi Hisae Ikeda Katsumi Negishi Hiroko Pan Yajing Sun Wen Qin Lingling Li Juan-E Xu Tunhai Liu Tonghua Gao Ming 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,4:2

12Seismic evidence for the existence of an entrained mantle flow coupling the northward advancing Indian plate under Tibet显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau, known as 'the roof of the world' and 'the third pole of the earth', is a product of the collision between India and Asia during the last ~50 Ma.The regional tectonics–in particular, growth and expansion of the plateau–has been attributed primarily to deformation within the lithosphere.The role and pattern of the underlying asthenospheric flow, however, remain mostly unaddressed.In light of recent seismic tomographic images and published seismic anisotropic descriptions of the upper mantle, here we propose that an entrained mantle flow is likely to exist under Tibet, induced by the northward advancing Indian plate.The direction of mantle flow is characterized by a gradual rotation from northward in the south to eastward in the north as a result of deflection by the deep root of the Tarim block.The presence of an underlying mantle flow is not only able to account for the west-east oriented fast-axis of seismic anisotropy in northern Tibet, but can also adequately explain the sporadic null splitting in southern Tibet.Specifically, the null splitting results, at least in part, from upwellings of asthenospheric flow through tears of the underthrusting Indian plate that have been revealed by various seismic observations.The mantle flow may in turn promote the block extrusion under Tibet that has been observed in GPS measurements; hot asthenospheric upwellings may also lead to widespread post-collisional magmatism in southern Tibet.Yu Zou XiaoBo Tian YouQiang Yu Fa-Bin Pan LingLing Wang XiaoBo He 2019Earth and Planetary Physics2019,3,1:1

19Mailuoning suppresses H_2O_2-induced cortical neuronal injury and correlates with increased catalase activity and inhibited oxidative stress function显示文摘BACKGROUND:Mailuoning,a Chinese herb,has been widely used in China to treat acute ischemic stroke,and the major component exhibits anti-oxidative effects.However,the precise anti-oxidation pathway remains uncertain.OBJECTIVE:To validate the protective effects of Mailuoning on H2O2-induced primary cortical neuron injury in embryonic mice.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Comparative observation and in vitro experiments were performed at the Jiangsu Key Laboratory for Molecular Medicine from January 2008 to September 2009.MATERIALS:Mailuoning(Nanjing Jinling Medical Company,China),reactive oxygen species(ROS) kit(Beyotime Biotechnology,China),superoxide dismutase(SOD),Cu/Zn SOD kit,malondialdehyde(MDA) kits(Nanjing Jiancheng,China),mitochondrial membrane potential(GMS10013.1,GENMED,USA) and catalase activity assay kit(Beyotime Biotechnology,China) were utilized for the present study.METHODS:Mouse embryonic cortical neurons were isolated and cultured with culture medium containing H2O2(80 μmol/L) and/or Mailuoning(1.25 μg/mL) for 24 hours.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Neuronal viability and death were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazdium and flow cytometry;ROS production was determined by flow cytometry;mitochondrial membrane potential was detected using fluorescent staining;SOD activity was detected using a modified nitroblue tetrazolium method;Cu/Zn SOD and catalase activity was detected by spectrophotometry;and MDA was determined using the lipid peroxidation method.RESULTS:H2O2 increased ROS production and MDA concentration(P < 0.05),and decreased mitochondrial membrane potential,SOD,Cu/Zn SOD and catalase activity(P < 0.05);the number of surviving neurons(P < 0.05) was also reduced.Mailuoning reversed these changes.CONCLUSION:Mailuoning protects H2O2-induced injury in cortical cells by inhibiting ROS and MDA,increasing depolarization of mitochondrial membrane,and enhancing SOD and catalase activity.Xiaofan Pan Siyuan Huang Lingling Li Yun Xu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,8:1
20Eosinophils promote pulmonary matrix destruction and emphvsema via Cathepsin L显示文摘Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)who exhibit elevated blood eosinophil levels often experience worsened lung function and more severe emphysema.This implies the potential involvement of eosinophils in the development of emphysema.However,the precise mechanisms underlying the development of eosinophil-mediated emphysema remain unclear.In this study,we employed single-cell RNA sequencing to identify eosinophil subgroups in mouse models of asthma and emphysema,followed by functional analyses of these subgroups.Assessment of accumulated eosinophils unveiled distinct transcriptomes in the lungs of mice with elastase-induced emphysema and ovalbumin-induced asthma.Depletion of eosinophils through the use of anti-interleukin-5 antibodies ameliorated elastase-induced emphysema.A particularly noteworthy discovery is that eosinophil-derived cathepsin L contributed to the degradation of the extracellular matrix,thereby leading to emphysema in pulmonary tissue Inhibition of cathepsin L resulted in a reduction of elastase-induced emphysema in a mouse model.Importantly,eosinophil levels correlated positively with serum cathepsin L levels,which were higher in emphysema patients than those without emphysema.Expression of cathepsin L in eosinophils demonstrated a direct association with lung emphysema in COPD patients.Collectively,these findings underscore the significant role of eosinophil-derived cathepsin L in extracellular matrix degradation and remodeling,and its relevance to emphysema in coPD patients.Consequently,targeting eosinophil-derived cathepsin L could potentially offer a therapeutic avenue for emphysema patients.Further investigations are warranted to explore therapeutic strategies targeting cathepsin L in emphysema patients.Xia Xu Tao Yu Lingling Dong Rainer Glauben Siyuan Wu Ronghua Huang Shiwei Qumu Chenli Chang Jing Guo Lin Pan Ting Yang Xin Lin Ke Huang Zhihua Chen Chen Wang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,11:1
