Near-surface sand-dust horizontal flux in Tazhong-the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert显示文摘Tazhong is the hinterland and a sandstorm high-frequency area of the Taklimakan Desert. However, little is known about the detailed time-series of aeolian sand transport in this area. An experiment to study the sand-dust horizontal flux of near-surface was carried out in Tazhong from January to December 2009. By measuring the sand-dust horizontal flux throughout sixteen sand-dust weather processes with a 200-cm tall Big Spring Number Eight (BSNE) sampler tower, we quantitatively analyzed the vertical variation of the sand-dust horizontal flux. And the total sand-dust horizontal flux of different time-series that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was estimated combining the data of saltation movement continuously recorded by piezoelectric saltation sensors (Sensit). The results indicated that, in the surface layer ranging from 0-200 cm, the intensity of sand-dust horizontal flux decreased with the increase of the height, and the physical quantities obeyed power function well. The total sand-dust horizontal flux of the sixteen sand-dust weather processes that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was about 2,144.9 kg, the maximum of one sand-dust weather event was about 396.3 kg, and the annual total sand-dust horizontal flux was about 3,903.2 kg. The high levels of aeolian sand transport occurred during daytime, especially from 13:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon. We try to develop a new method for estimation of the detailed time-series of aeolian sand transport. | XingHua YANG Qing HE Mamtimin ALI Wen HUO XinChun LIU | 2013 | Journal of Arid Land2013,5,2: | 11
Digital Evaluation of Sitting Posture Comfort in Human-vehicle System under Industry 4.0 Framework显示文摘Most of the previous studies on the vibration ride comfort of the human-vehicle system were focused only on one or two aspects of the investigation. A hybrid approach which integrates all kinds of investigation methods in real environment and virtual environment is described. The real experimental environment includes the WBV(whole body vibration) test, questionnaires for human subjective sensation and motion capture. The virtual experimental environment includes the theoretical calculation on simplified 5-DOF human body vibration model, the vibration simulation and analysis within ADAMS/VibrationTMmodule, and the digital human biomechanics and occupational health analysis in Jack software. While the real experimental environment provides realistic and accurate test results, it also serves as core and validation for the virtual experimental environment. The virtual experimental environment takes full advantages of current available vibration simulation and digital human modelling software, and makes it possible to evaluate the sitting posture comfort in a human-vehicle system with various human anthropometric parameters. How this digital evaluation system for car seat comfort design is fitted in the Industry 4.0 framework is also proposed. | TAO Qing KANG Jinsheng SUN Wenlei LI Zhaobo HUO Xiao | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2016,29,6: | 9

Diurnal dynamics of soil respiration and the influencing factors for three land-cover types in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert,China显示文摘Knowledge of soil respiration and the influencing factors in desert ecosystems is essential to understanding carbon dynamics and responses of biotic and abiotic processes in soils to climate change. In this study, soil respiration rate(R_s) for three land-cover types(shifting sandy land, sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers, and shelter forest land) in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert was measured in May 2015 using an automated soil CO_2 flux system. The effects of soil temperature(T_s) and soil water content(W_s) on R_s were also analyzed. The results showed that R_s values in shifting sandy land, sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers, and shelter forest land were all low and exhibited obvious diurnal fluctuations. The establishment of straw checkerboard barriers in sandy land had no significant effect on R_s, while the establishment of shelterbelts significantly increased R_s. Shifting sandy land and sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers were carbon sinks at night and early morning and were carbon sources in the daytime, while shelter forest land always acted as a carbon source during the whole day. The synergistic effect of T_s and W_s could better explain the diurnal dynamics in R_s than single factor. In shifting sandy land and sandy land with straw checkerboard barriers, W_s was identified as a limiting factor influencing the diurnal dynamics of R_s. Furthermore, a relatively strong hysteresis loop existed between R_s and T_s. In contrast, in shelter forest land, R_s was significantly influenced by T_s, and a relatively weaker hysteresis loop existed between R_s and W_s. | YANG Fan ALI Mamtimin ZHENG Xinqian HE Qing YANG Xinghua HUO Wen LIANG Fengchao WANG Shaoming | 2017 | Journal of Arid Land2017,9,4: | 7
Numerical simulation and dimension reduction analysis of electromagnetic logging while drilling of horizontal wells in complex structures显示文摘Electromagnetic logging while drilling(LWD)is one of the key technologies of the geosteering and formation evaluation for high-angle and horizontal wells. In this paper,we solve the dipole source-generated magnetic/electric fields in 2D formations efficiently by the 2.5D finite diff erence method.Particularly,by leveraging the field’s rapid attenuation in spectral domain,we propose truncated Gauss–Hermite quadrature, which is several tens of times faster than traditional inverse fast Fourier transform.By applying the algorithm to the LWD modeling under complex formations,e.g.,folds,fault and sandstone pinch-outs,we analyze the feasibility of the dimension reduction from 2D to 1D.For the formations with smooth lateral changes, like folds, the simplified 1D model’s results agree well with the true responses, which indicate that the 1D simplification with sliding window is feasible. However, for the formation structures with drastic rock properties changes and sharp boundaries, for instance, faults and sandstone pinch-outs,the simplified 1D model will lead to large errors and,therefore,2.5D algorithms should be applied to ensure the accuracy. | Zhen-Guan Wu Shao-Gui Deng Xu-Quan He Runren Zhang Yi-Ren Fan Xi-Yong Yuan Yi-Zhi Wu Qing Huo Liu | 2020 | Petroleum Science2020,17,3: | 6
Pharmacokinetics of acteoside following single dose intragastric and intravenous administrations in dogs显示文摘Acteoside(verbascoside), a phenylethanoid glycoside widely distributed in various plants, has been shown to have potential activity against Alzheimer's disease, attracting great attentions recently. The present study was designed to develop a selective and sensitive LC-MS/MS method for the determination of acteoside in biological samples and carry our a phamacokinetic(PK) study in beagle dogs. The PK parameters were calculated using non-compartmental models. Following a single-dose oral administration, acteoside was rapidly absorbed and eliminated, with Tmax being between 30 to 45 min and terminal half-life being about 90 min. The areas under the time-concentration curve(AUC) were 47.28 ± 8.74, 87.86 ± 13.33, and 183.14 ± 28.69 mg·min·L-1 for oral administration of 10, 20, and 40 mg·kg-1, respectively, demonstrating that the exposure of acteoside proportionally increased with the dose level. The absolute bioavailability of acteoside was around 4%. For all the PK parameters, there were large variations between individual dogs. In conclusion, the pharmacokinetic characteristics observed in the present study can be of great value to help better understand the pharmacological properties of acteoside and to improve the outcome of its clinical use. | ZHANG Wei HUO Shi-Xia WEN Yan-Li XING Han ZHANG Qing LI Ning ZHAO Di SUN Xiao-Lin XU Jie YAN Ming CHEN Xi-Jing | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2015,13,8: | 5
Live-fly experimentation for pigeon-inspired obstacle avoidance of quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles显示文摘In this paper, we applied a pigeon-inspired obstacle-avoidance model to the flight of quadrotor UAVs through environments with obstacles. Pigeons bias their flight direction by considering the largest gap and minimum required steering. Owing to the similarities between pigeon flocks and UAV swarms in terms of mission requirements, the pigeon-inspired obstacle-avoidance model is used to control a UAV swarm so that it can fly through a complex environment with multiple obstacles. The simulation and flight results illustrate the viability and superiority of pigeon-inspired obstacle avoidance for quadrotor UAVs. | Mengzhen HUO Haibin DUAN Qing YANG Daifeng ZHANG Huaxin QIU | 2019 | Science China(Information Sciences)2019,62,5: | 4
Relationship between thermal anomalies in Tibetan Plateau and summer dust storm frequency over Tarim Basin,China显示文摘The dust storm is the most important and frequent meteorological disaster over Tarim Basin, which causes huge damages on local social economics. How to predict the springtime and summertime dust storm occurrence has become a hot issue for meteorologists. This paper employed the data of dust storm frequency and 10-m wind velocity at 35 stations over Tarim Basin and the reanalysis data from the National Center for Environmental Prediction and the National Center for Atmospheric Research(NCEP/NCAR) during 1961-2007 to study the relationship between dust storm frequency(DSF) in summer over Tarim Basin and the thermal anomalies in Tibetan Plateau in May by using the statistical methods, such as Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF),correlation and binomial moving average. The results show when negative anomalies in Tibetan Plateau and positive anomalies in its southern region are present along 30°N(the second mode of surface temperature anomalies by EOF decomposition) in May,the time coefficient(PC2) plays an important role in summer DSF variation and has a close relation with the summer DSF at both inter-annual and decadal time scales. When negative anomalies in Tibetan Plateau and positive anomalies are present in its southern region(PC2 in positive phase),there is an anomalous anticyclone in North China, which weakens the northwest wind and is not beneficial for cold air moving from high latitude to the Tarim Basin, and the circulation pattern is hard to result in dust storm weather.Furthermore, the sea level pressure(SLP) increased over Tarim Basin and the direction of SLP gradient reversed, which resulted in the 10-m wind velocity slowing down,so the DSF decreased. From above all,it can be conclude that the thermal anomalies in Tibetan Plateau in May has important effects on the summertime dust storm frequency over Tarim Basin and the PC2 can be used as a prediction factor for the summertime dust storm occurrence. | Yong ZHAO HongJun LI AnNing HUANG Qing HE Wen HUO MinZhong WANG | 2013 | Journal of Arid Land2013,5,1: | 4
Spatio-temporal variability of phytoplankton assemblages and its controlling factors in spring and summer in the Subei Shoal of Yellow Sea, China显示文摘The Subei Shoal is a special coastal area with complex physical oceanographic properties in the Yellow Sea.In the present study, the distribution of phytoplankton and its correlation with environmental factors were studied during spring and summer of 2012 in the Subei Shoal of the Yellow Sea.Phytoplankton species composition and abundance data were accomplished by Utermohl method.Diatoms represented the greatest cellular abundance during the study period. In spring, the phytoplankton cell abundance ranged from 1.59×10^3 to 269.78×10^3 cell/L with an average of 41.80×10^3 cell/L,and Skeletonema sp.and Paralia sulcata was the most dominant species. In summer, the average phytoplankton cell abundance was 72.59×10^3 cell/L with the range of 1.78×10^3 to 574.96×10^3 cell/L,and the main dominant species was Pseudo-nitzschia pungens,Skeletonema sp.,Dactyliosolen fragilissima and Chaetoceros curvisetus. The results of a redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that turbidity, temperature, salinity,pH,dissolved oxygen(DO),the ratio of dissolved inorganic nitrogen to silicate and SiO4-Si(DIN/SiO4-Si)were the most important environmental factors controlling phytoplankton assemblages in spring or summer in the Subei Shoal of the Yellow Sea. | Yuanzi Huo Honghua Shi Jianheng Zhang Qiao Liu Yuanliang Duan Qing He Kefeng Yu Hongsheng Bi Chunlei Fan Peimin He | 2019 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,10: | 4
Distribution and controlling factors of phytoplankton assemblages associated with mariculture in an eutrophic enclosed bay in the East China Sea显示文摘The distribution of phytoplankton and its correlation with environmental factors were studied monthly during August 2012 to July 2013 in the Yantian Bay. A total of 147 taxa of phytoplankton were identified, and the average abundance was in the range of 0.57×10~4 to 7.73×10~4 cell/L. A total of 19 species dominated the phytoplankton assemblages, and several species that are widely reported to be responsible for microalgae blooms were the absolutely dominant species, such as Skeletonema costatum, Navicula sp., Thalassionema nitzschioides,Pleurosigma sp., and Licmophora abbreviata. The monthly variabilities in phytoplankton abundance could be explained by water temperature, dissolved oxygen, salinity, dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN), and suspended solids. The results of a redundancy analysis showed that p H and nutrients, including DIN and silicate(SiO_4), were the most important environmental factors controlling phytoplankton assemblages in specific months. It was found that nutrients and pH levels that were mainly influenced by mariculture played a vital role in influencing the variation of phytoplankton assemblages in the Yantian Bay. Thus, a reduction of mariculture activities would be an effective way to control microalgae blooms in an enclosed and intensively eutrophic bay. | HUO Yuanzi WEI Zhangliang LIU Qiao YANG Fangfang LONG Lijuan ZHANG Qi BI Hongsheng HE Qing HE Peimin | 2018 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2018,37,8: | 3

Damage analysis of POZD coated square reinforced concrete slab under contact blast显示文摘High efficiency, environmental protection and sustainability have become the main theme of the development of the protection engineering, requiring that the components not only meet the basic functions, but also have chemical properties such as acid and alkali corrosion resistance and aging resistance. Polyisocyanate-oxazodone(POZD) polymer has the above characteristics, it also has the advantages of strong toughness, high strength and high elongation. The concrete slab sprayed with POZD material has excellent anti-blast performance. In order to explore the damage characteristics of POZD sprayed concrete slabs under the action of contact explosion thoroughly, the contact explosion test of POZD concrete slabs with different charges were carried out. On the basis of experimental verification, numerical simulation were used to study the influence of the thickness of the POZD on the blast resistance of the concrete slab. According to the test and numerical simulation results that as the thickness of the coating increases, the anti-blast performance of the concrete slab gradually increases, and the TNT equivalent required for critical failure is larger. Based on the above analysis, empirical expressions on normalized crater diameter, the normalized spall diameter and normalized spall diameter are obtained. | Wei Wang Qing Huo Jian-chao Yang Jian-hui Wang Xing Wang Wei-liang Gao | 2022 | Defence Technology(防务技术)2022,18,9: | 3
Analysis of mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter in a sandstorm course and its affecting factors in the Taklimakan Desert显示文摘During the course of a major sandstorm from April 17 to April 23,2008 in the Taklimakan Desert, data pertaining to the mass concentrations of different-sized atmospheric particulate matter were observed continuously with Grimm 1.108,Thermo RP 1400a,TSP,and CAWS-600 instruments. The results showed that:(1) during the entire sandstorm process there were some differences between the daily mean particle concentration peaks and the hourly mean particle concentration peaks because the actual sandstorm lasted for only about 4 hr,whereas more particles were accumulated in the floating dust days before and after the actual sandstorm;(2) the intensity of the sandstorm was enhanced with the increase of wind speed, and this was related to the peak mass concentrations of atmospheric particulate matter;the wind speed directly affected the concentration of atmospheric particulate matter:the higher the wind speed, the higher the mass concentration(>0.23 μm was 39,496.5 μg/m 3,and >20.0 μm was 5,390.7 μg/m 3);(3) the concentration changes of PM 10 and TSP were also related to the course and intensity of the sandstorm;and(4) the mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter had the following sequence during the dust weather:clear day < floating dust < floating and blowing dust < sandstorm.Temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure are important factors affecting the strength of storms, which could also indirectly affect the concentration change of atmospheric particulate matter. | XinChun Liu YuTing Zhong Qing He XingHua Yang Ali Mamtimin Wen Huo | 2012 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2012,4,3: | 3
Single-cell transcriptomic landscape of human blood cells显示文摘High throughput single-cell RNA-seq has been successfully implemented to dissect the cellular and molecular features underlying hematopoiesis. However,an elaborate and comprehensive transcriptome reference of the whole blood system is lacking. Here,we profiled the transcriptomes of 7551 human blood cells representing 32 immunophenotypic cell types, including hematopoietic stem cells, progenitors and mature blood cells derived from 21 healthy donors. With high sequencing depth and coverage,we constructed a single-cell transcriptional atlas of blood cells(ABC) on the basis of both protein-coding genes and long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs),and showed a high consistence between them.Notably, putative lncRNAs and transcription factors regulating hematopoietic cell differentiation were identified. While common transcription factor regulatory networks were activated in neutrophils and monocytes, lymphoid cells dramatically changed their regulatory networks during differentiation.Furthermore,we showed a subset of nucleated erythrocytes actively expressing immune signals, suggesting the existence of erythroid precursors with immune functions. Finally,a web portal offering transcriptome browsing and blood cell type prediction has been established. Thus, our work provides a transcriptional map of human blood cells at single-cell resolution, thereby offering a comprehensive reference for the exploration of physiological and pathological hematopoiesis. | Xiaowei Xie Mengyao Liu Yawen Zhang Bingrui Wang Caiying Zhu Chenchen Wang Qing Li Yingying Huo Jiaojiao Guo Changlu Xu Linping Hu Aiming Pang Shihui Ma Una Wang Wenbin Cao Shulian Chen Qiuling Li Sudong Zhang Xueying Zhao Wen Zhou Hongbo Luo Guoguang Zheng Erlie Jiang Sizhou Feng Lixiang Chen Lihong Shi Hui Cheng Sha Hao Ping Zhu Tao Cheng | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,3: | 3
Estimation of the Land Surface Emissivity in the Hinterland of Taklimakan Desert显示文摘An accurate accounting of land surface emissivity(ε) is important both for the retrieval of surface temperatures and the calculation of the longwave surface energy budgets.Since ε is one of the important parameterizations in land surface models(LSMs),accurate accounting also improves the accuracy of surface temperatures and sensible heat fluxes simulated by LSMs.In order to obtain an accurate emissivity, this paper focuses on estimating ε from data collected in the hinterland of Taklimakan Desert by two different methods. In the first method,ε was derived from the surface broadband emissivity in the 8–14 μm thermal infrared atmospheric window, which was determined from spectral radiances observed by field measurements using a portable Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, the mean ε being 0.9051.The second method compared the observed and calculated heat fluxes under nearneutral atmospheric stability and estimated ε indirectly by minimizing the root-mean-square difference between them. The result of the second method found a mean value of 0.9042,which is consistent with the result by the first method.Although the two methods recover ε from different field experiments and data, the difference of meanvalues is 0.0009.The first method is superior to the indirect method, and is also more convenient. | LIU Yong-qiang Ali MAMTIMIN HUO Wen YANG Xing-hua LIU Xin-chun MENG Xian-yong HE Qing | 2014 | Journal of Mountain Science2014,11,6: | 3
Underwater gas self-transportation along femtosecond laser-written open superhydrophobic surface microchannels(<100μm)for bubble/gas manipulation显示文摘Underwater transportation of bubbles and gases has essential applications in manipulating and using gas,but achieving this function at the microscopic level remains a significant challenge. Here,we report a strategy to self-transport gas in water along a laser-induced open superhydrophobic microchannel with a width less than 100μm.The femtosecond laser can directly write superhydrophobic and underwater superaerophilic microgrooves on the polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)surfaces. In water, the single laser-induced microgroove and water medium generate a hollow microchannel. When the microchannel connects two superhydrophobic regions in water, the gas spontaneously travels from the small region to the large area along this hollow microchannel.Gas self-transportation can be extended to laser-drilled microholes through a thin PTFE sheet, which can even achieve anti-buoyancy unidirectional penetration. The gas can overcome the bubble’s buoyance and spontaneously travel downward. The Laplace pressure difference drives the processes of spontaneous gas transportation and unidirectional bubble passage. We believe the property of gas self-transportation in the femtosecond laser-structured open superhydrophobic and underwater superaerophilic microgrooves/microholes has significant potential applications related to manipulating underwater gas. | Jiale Yong Qing Yang Jinglan Huo Xun Hou Feng Chen | 2022 | International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2022,4,1: | 3
Safety and efficacy of meplazumab in healthy volunteers and COVID-19 patients: a randomized phase 1 and an exploratory phase 2 trial显示文摘Recent evidence suggests that CD147 serves as a novel receptor for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection.Blocking CD147 via anti-CD147 antibody could suppress the in vitro SARS-CoV-2 replication.Meplazumab is a humanized anti-CD147 IgG_(2) monoclonal antibody, which may effectively prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients.Here,we conducted a randomized,double-blinded,placebo-controlled phase 1 trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of meplazumab in healthy subjects, and an open-labeled,concurrent controlled add-on exploratory phase 2 study to determine the efficacy in COVID-19 patients. In phase 1 study,59 subjects were enrolled and assigned to eight cohorts, and no serious treatment-emergent adverse event(TEAE)or TEAE grade≥3 was observed. The serum and peripheral blood Cmax and area under the curve showed non-linear pharmacokinetic characteristics. No obvious relation between the incidence or titer of positive anti-drug antibody and dosage was observed in each cohort. The biodistribution study indicated that meplazumab reached lung tissue and maintained>14 days stable with the lung tissue/cardiac blood-pool ratio ranging from 0.41 to 0.32.In the exploratory phase 2 study,17 COVID-19 patients were enrolled, and 11 hospitalized patients were involved as concurrent control. The meplazumab treatment significantly improved the discharged(P=0.005)and case severity(P=0.021),and reduced the time to virus negative(P=0.045)in comparison to the control group. These results show a sound safety and tolerance of meplazumab in healthy volunteers and suggest that meplazumab could accelerate the recovery of patients from COVID-19 pneumonia with a favorable safety profile. | Huijie Bian Zhao-Hui Zheng Ding Wei Aidong Wen Zheng Zhang Jian-Qi Lian Wen-Zhen Kang Chun-Qiu Hao Jing Wang Rong-Hua Xie Ke Dong Jie-Lai Xia Jin-Lin Miao Wen Kang Guoquan Li Di Zhang Mingru Zhang Xiu-Xuan Sun Likun Ding Kui Zhang Junfeng Jia Jin Ding Zhiqin Li Yanyan Jia Lin-Na Liu Zhe Zhang Zhao-Wei Gao Hong Du Na Yao Qing Wang Ke Wang Jie-Jie Geng Bin Wang Ting Guo Ruo Chen Yu-Meng Zhu Li-Juan Wang Qian He Rui-Rui Yao Ying Shi Xiang-Min Yang Jian-Sheng Zhou Yi-Nan Ma Ya-Tao Wang Xue Liang Fei Huo Zhe Wang Yang Zhang Xu Yang Ye Zhang Lu-Hua Gao Ling Wang Xiao-Chun Chen Hao Tang Shuang-Shuang Liu Qing-Yi Wang Zhi-Nan Chen Ping Zhu | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,6: | 2
