1Discovery of Paleoproterozoic rapakivi granite on the northern margin of the Yangtze block and its geological significance显示文摘The Huashanguan rapakivi pluton in Zhongxiang,Hubei Province,China,is the first discovered Proterozoic rapakivi pluton in the Yangtze block.Based on field and petrographical observations,a typical rapakivi texture was found in the northern portion of the Huashanguan granitic pluton.Almost all the K-feldspar phenocrysts were round to oval in shape and most had plagioclase coatings known as rapakivi phenocrysts.Alkali feldspars and quartz had two or more generations.Petrochemically,the Huashanguan rapakivi granites were characterized as having high values of Si,K,Fe,Th,U,La,Ga,Ce,Sm and LREE,low values of Ca,Mg,Sr,Nb,Y and HREE,and a negative Eu anomaly.These geochemical characteristics of the Huashanguan granites were concordant with typical rapakivi granites,and had an affinity to A-type granites.LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating also was conducted.The dating yielded a 207Pb/206Pb weighted mean age of 1851±18 Ma (MSWD =1.2),which represents the age of the pluton emplacement.The age of 803±170 Ma at the lower intercept in the concordia diagram corresponds to the age of a later deformation event which affected the pluton,and suggests that the Huashanguan pluton was influenced by Neoproterozoic thermo-tectonic events after its formation.The discovery of Paleoproterozoic Huashanguan rapakivi granites indicates continental rifting or a post-orogenic extensional event that took place in the Paleoproterozoic in the Yangtze block.These events may be related to the breakup of the Paleoproterozoic Columbia supercontinent.ZHANG LiJuan MA ChangQian WANG LianXun SHE ZhenBing WANG ShiMing 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,3:37
2Establishment of a Highly Efficient Regeneration System for the Mature Embryo Culture of Wheat显示文摘Establishment of a highly efficient regeneration system for the mature embryo of wheat will provide a convenient tool for wheat tissue culture and transformation, thereby facilitating the transformation of foreign genes into wheat. By using the mature embryos derived from 20 different wheat lines including Shi 4185, Yumai 66, Lunxuan 987, CB037, Yangmai 6, Xinchun 9, Bobwhite, Han 6172, Zheng 9023, Jimai 20, Ningchun 4, and Jing 411, the effects of some factors including inoculation methods, initiating culture media, organic additives, antioxidants, and auxins on the regeneration from the explants were evaluated. The results indicated that the scraping embryo culture was better than the whole embryo culture, the Aa medium was better than the SD2 medium and dicamba was better than 2,4-D in increasing the regeneration frequency. An Adi medium was established in this study by adding silver nitrate, cysteine, ascorbic acid, dicamba, glutamine into the Aa medium at the concentration of 4 , 40, 100, 2, and 5 mg L-1, respectively. By using the Adi medium and the scraping technique, the regeneration frequencies of the mature embryos of CB037, Lunxuan 987, Han 6172, Yangmai 6, Bobwhite, Zheng 9023, Shi 4185, and Jimai 20 became 85.6, 60.1, 46.0, 42.1, 42.0, 34.0, 33.0, and 32.0%, respectively, which were about 5-8 times higher than that obtained from the conventional culture mediums and techniques. 4Comparative study on skin temperature response to menstruation at acupuncture points in healthy volunteers and primary dysmenorrhea patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess skin temperature response to menstruation at acupuncture points in primary dysmenorrhea(PD) patients and healthy volunteers so as to explore acupuncture point specificity in reflecting diseases in the light of skin temperature.METHODS:Fifty-two PD patients and 49 healthy volunteers were recruited.Skin temperature measurements were performed with a skin temperature assessment device at 10 points.Absolute difference between skin temperature of the same point on the left and right side is used as main outcome measure.RESULTS:On the first day of menstruation, when menstrual pain attacking in PD patients, a significant increase in skin temperature difference was detected at Taixi(KI 3) compared with the healthy group(P < 0.01).A significant reduction in skin temperature difference was detected at Taixi(KI 3) in the first day of menstruation compared with those values in the third day after menstruation(P < 0.01)in the healthy group.On the third day after menstruation, a significant reduction in skin temperature difference was found at Zhongdu(LR 6) in PD group compared with the healthy group(P < 0.05).No significant differences of skin temperature were detected at other points(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION:The skin temperature difference at menstruation-relevant points in PD patients did not all change significantly more than those in women without PD.Significant difference was only found in Taixi(KI 3), the Yuan-source point of Kidney meridian.She Yanfen Ma Liangxiao Zhu Jiang Qi Conghui Wang Yanxia Tang Ling Li Chunhua Yuan Hongwen Liu Yuqi Song Jiashan 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:8

6Silurian A-type granitoids in the southern margin of the Tongbai-Dabieshan: Evidence from SHRIMP zircon geochronology and geochemistry显示文摘SHRIMP U-Pb dating on magmatic zircons extracted from a riebeckite quartz syenite in the Huangyangshan pluton in Suizhou, the southern margin of Tongbai-Dabieshan yielded an age of 439±6Ma. According to the morphology and high Th/U ratios of the zircons, the age is interpreted as crystallization timing of the pluton. The Huangyangshan pluton is composed of peralkaline quartz syenite, alkaline granite and syenite. All of the rocks are characterized by high agpaitic index (A.I.=(Na+K)/Al, molar ratio) and Fe-number [FeOT/(FeOT+MgO)], low CaO and MgO contents, enrichment of high field strength elements (i.e. Nb, Zr, Ga, Y, Hf) and light REEs, evidently negative Eu anomalies and high Ga/Al ratios, which are consistent with anorogenic A-type granitoids. 7A review on radiofrequency,microwave and high-intensity focused ultrasound ablations for hepatocellular carcinoma with cirrhosis显示文摘Importance:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is usually accompanied by liver cirrhosis,which makes treatment of this disease challenging.Liver transplantation theoretically provides an ultimate solution to the disease,but the maximal surgical stress and the scarcity of liver graft make this treatment option impossible for some patients.In an ideal situation,a treatment that is safe and effective should provide a better outcome for patients with the dilemma.Objective:This article aims to give a comprehensive review of various types of loco-ablative treatment for HCC.Evidence Review:Loco-ablative treatment bridges the gap between surgical resection and transarterial chemotherapy.Various types of ablative therapy have their unique ability,and evidence-based outcome analysis is the most important key to assisting clinicians to choose the most suitable treatment modality for their patients.Findings:Radiofrequency ablation(RFA)has a relatively longer history and more evidence to support its effectiveness.Microwave ablation(MWA)is gaining momentum because of its shorter ablation time and consistent ablation zone.High-intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU)ablation is a relatively new technology that provides non-invasive treatment for patients with HCC.It has been carried out at centers of excellence and it is a safe and effective treatment option for selected patients with HCC and liver cirrhosis.Conclusion and Relevance:Selective use of different loco-ablative therapies will enhance clinicians’treatment options for treatment of HCC.Tan To Cheung Ka Wing Ma Wong Hoi She 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,2:6
8The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 9Pedicled greater omentum flap for preventing bile leak in liver transplantation patients with poor biliary tract conditions显示文摘BACKGROUND:Bile leak remains a main complication in liver transplantation patients with poor biliary tract conditions,mainly caused by an insufficient blood supply or dysplasia of the biliary tract.Although Roux-en-Y modus operandi can be adopted,the risk of other complications of the biliary tract such as infection increases.Using pedicled greater omentum flaps to wrap the anastomotic stoma, which increases the biliary tract blood supply,may reduce the incidence of bile leak. METHODS:Fourteen patients undergoing piggy-back liver transplantation and having poor biliary tract conditions were treated with pedicled greater omentum flaps to wrap the anastomotic stoma of the biliary tract. Their clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS:Of the 14 patients,only one(7.1%)had a mild bile leak on the 8th day post-operation and fully recovered after symptomatic treatment.The other patients had no biliary complications. 10Construction of ternary CuO/CuFe_(2)O_(4)/g-C_(3)N_(4)composite and its enhanced photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride with persulfate under simulated sunlight显示文摘In this study,a graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))based ternary catalyst Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)/gC_(3)N_(4)(CCCN)is successfully prepared thorough calcination method.After confirming the structure and composition of CCCN,the as-synthesized composites are utilized to activate persulfate(PS)for the degradation of organic contaminant.While using tetracycline hydrochloride(TC)as pollutant surrogate,the effects of initial p H,PS and catalyst concentration on the degradation rate are systematically studied.Under the optimized reaction condition,CCCN/PS is able to give 99%degradation extent and 74%chemical oxygen demand removal in assistance of simulated solar light,both of which are apparently greater than that of either Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)and pristine g-C_(3)N_(4).The great improvement in degradation can be assignable to the effective separation of photoinduced carriers thanks to the integration between Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)and g-C_(3)N_(4),as well as the increased reaction sites given by the g-C_(3)N_(4)substrate.Moreover,the scavenging trials imply that the major oxidative matters involved in the decomposition are hydroxyl radicals(·OH),superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(-))and photo-induced holes(h^(+)).Lei Wang Xiaolei Ma Guofang Huang Rui Lian Jingwei Huang Houde She Qizhao Wang 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,2:5
11Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) mediates darkness-induced stomatal closure through raising cytosol pH and hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2) levels in guard cells in Vicia faba显示文摘The role and signaling of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) during darkness-induced stomatal closure were examined in Vicia faba. Darkness substantially raised S1P and hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) levels and closed stomata. These darkness effects were significantly suppressed by DL-threo-dihydrosphingosine (DL-threo-DHS) and N,N-dimethylsphingosine (DMS), two inhibitors of long-chain base kinases. Exogenous S1P led to stomatal closure and H 2 O 2 production, and the effects of S1P were largely prevented by the H 2 O 2 modulators ascorbic acid, catalase, and diphenyleneiodonium. These results indicated that S1P mediated darkness-induced stomatal closure by triggering H 2 O 2 production. In addition, DL-threo-DHS and DMS significantly suppressed both darkness-induced cytosolic alkalization in guard cells and stomatal closure. Exogenous S1P caused cytosolic alkalization and stomatal closure, which could be largely abolished by butyric acid. These results demonstrated that S1P syn-thesis was necessary for cytosolic alkalization during stomatal closure caused by darkness. Furthermore, together with the data described above, inhibition of darkness-induced H 2 O 2 production by butyric acid revealed that S1P synthesis-induced cytosolic alkalization was a prerequisite for H 2 O 2 production during stomatal closure caused by darkness, a conclusion supported by the facts that the pH increase caused by exogenous S1P had a shorter lag and peaked faster than H 2 O 2 levels and that butyric acid prevented exogenous S1P-induced H 2 O 2 production. 12First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 13Enhanced Damping Capacities of Mg–Ce Alloy by the Special Microstructure with Parallel Second Phase显示文摘Microstructure evolution and damping capacities of Mg–Ce binary alloys with three different Ce contents(0.5, 1, or 2 wt%) have been systematically investigated in this work. Numerous fine parallel second phases in Mg–2Ce alloy are obtained, as well as a large number of dislocations around them, but few dislocations appear around the reticular second phase in the Mg–1Ce alloy. Among the three alloys, two internal friction peaks(P_1 and P_2) are detected at about 78 and 167?C in both the Mg–0.5Ce and Mg–1Ce alloys.In addition, the alloy with special parallel second phase structure exhibits excellent damping capacity in both strain amplitude and temperature-dependent regions. These results may be ascribed to the stress concentration and the formation of abundant parallel and uniform dislocation configurations in the ?-Mg matrix without the influence of crystal orientation. 14Tracking Synchronization of Networked Lagrangian Systems via Impulsive Control and Its Applications显示文摘An impulsive control scheme is proposed to investigate the tracking synchronization of ring and inline networked Lagrangian systems.Given a time-varying target trajectory,some algebraic synchronization criteria are derived to make the networked Lagrangian systems synchronize to the target trajectory.A distinctive feature of the proposed work is that the impulsive control scheme is used to investigate the highly nonlinear Lagrangian systems.By the impulsive control,each agent described by the Lagrangian system instantaneously interacts with its neighbors only at some discrete moments.Furthermore,the proposed control strategy requires only local coupling feedback for global convergence.As a direct application of the obtained theoretical results,the tracking synchronization of multiple 3-DOF mobile robots is discussed in detail and simulated.Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.SHE Weiqiang MA Mihua 2019Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2019,32,4:3
15Effect of Chronic Noise Exposure on Expression of N-Methyl-D-Aspartic Acid Receptor 2B and Tau Phosphorylation in Hippocampus of Rats显示文摘Objective To study the effect of chronic noise exposure on expression of N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptor 2B (NR2B) and tau phosphorylation in hippocampus of rats. Methods Twenty-four male SD rats were divided in control group and chronic noise exposure group. NR2B expression and tau phosphorylation in hippocampus of rats were detected after chronic noise exposure (100 dB SPL white noise, 4 h/d×30d) and their mechanisms underlying neuronal apoptosis in hippocampus of rats with TUNEL staining. Results The NR2B expression decreased significantly after chronic noise exposure which resulted in tau hyperphosphorylation and neural apoptosis in hippocampus of rats. Immunohistochemistry showed that the tau hyperphosphorylation was most prominent in dentate gyrus (DG) and CA1 region of rat hippocampus. 16Impact of small-for-size liver grafts on medium-term and long-term graft survival in living donor liver transplantation: A meta-analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND Small-for-size grafts (SFSGs) in living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) could optimize donor postoperative outcomes and also expand the potential donor pool. Evidence on whether SFSGs would affect medium-term and long-term recipient graft survival is lacking. AIM To evaluate the impact of small-for-size liver grafts on medium-term and longterm graft survival in adult to adult LDLT. METHODS A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed by searching eligible studies published before January 24, 2019 on PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science databases. The primary outcomes were 3-year and 5-year graft survival. Incidence of small-for-size syndrome and short term mortality were also extracted. RESULTS This meta-analysis is reported according to the guidelines of the PRISMA 2009 Statement. Seven retrospective observational studies with a total of 1821 LDLT recipients were included in the meta-analysis. SFSG is associated with significantly poorer medium-term graft survival. The pooled odds ratio for 3-year graft survival was 1.58 [95% confidence interval 1.10-2.29, P = 0.014]. On the other hand, pooled results of the studies showed that SFSG had no significant discriminatory effect on 5-year graft survival with an odds ratio of 1.31 (95% confidence interval 0.87-1.97, P = 0.199). Furthermore, incidence of small-for-size syndrome detected in recipients of SFSG ranged from 0-11.4% in the included studies. CONCLUSION SFSG is associated with inferior medium-term but not long-term graft survival. Comparable long-term graft survival based on liver graft size shows that smaller grafts could be accepted for LDLT with appropriate flow modulatory measures. 19The Early Paleozoic Tiefosi syn-collisional granite in the northern Dabie Orogen:Geochronological and geochemical constraints显示文摘The Tiefosi granitic pluton is located 5 km northwest of Xinyang City,northern Dabie Orogen,and was emplaced in the Proterozoic Qinling Group. SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating suggests its crystallization at 436 ± 11 Ma. It is composed of monzogranite and syenogranite containing some amounts of muscovite and few mafic minerals. The rocks are characterized by high and restricted SiO2 content,low FeO,Fe2O3 and MgO contents,high K2O/Na2O ratio,and display high-K calc-alkaline and peraluminous (ACNK>1.1) characteristics. They are generally enriched in large ion lithophile elements (LILE) and depleted in high field strength elements (HFSE). They can be divided into three groups in light of rare earth elements (REE) and trace elements. Group I is moderate in ΣREE and characterized by the absence of Eu anom-aly,high (La/Yb)N ratio,and moderate Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. Group Ⅱ has moderately negative Eu anomaly,low (La/Yb)N ratio and high ΣREE contents,Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. Group Ⅲ displays positive Eu anomaly,moderate (La/Yb)N ratio,and low ΣREE,Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. The calculated εNd(440Ma) values of the rocks vary from 8.8 to 9.9 and Nd depleted mantle model ages are about 2.0 Ga,which resemble those of the paragneisses from the Qinling Group. The results indicate that the Tiefosi granite is crust-derived,syn-collisional S-type granite. Generation of Group I was related to low degree melting of the Qinling Group,while Group Ⅱ was formed by fractionational crystallization of plagioclase from Group I magmas,and Group Ⅲ resulted possibly from magma mingling with plagioclase cumulates. 20Role of C11-FDG dual-tracer PET-CT scan in metastatic screening of hepatocellular carcinoma-a cost-effectiveness analysis显示文摘Background:We aimed to identify predictive factors for positron emission tomography(PET)-detected hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)metastasis and a cost-effective approach to preoperative PET-computed tomography(CT)for detecting metastasis.Methods:Clinicopathological and survival data of HCC patients having PET-CT with 18F-fludeoxyglucose(FDG)and 11C-acetate(ACT)following contrast-enhanced CT/magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for preoperative tumor staging were reviewed.Binary logistic regression was performed to identify predictive factors for PET-detected metastasis.A cost-benefit analysis model was built for the incurred costs and the impact of PET-CT findings on treatment strategy was studied.Results:Totally 152 patients were analyzed.Dual-tracer PET-CT detected metastasis in 17 patients(11%).By multivariate analysis,alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)≥400 ng/mL[relative risk(RR):4.30,95%confidence interval(CI):1.41-13.15,P=0.011]and bilobar disease(RR:3.94,95%CI:1.24-12.52,P=0.014)were independent predictive factors for PET-detected metastasis.PET-CT findings altered the treatment strategy for 12 patients(7.9%);three partial hepatectomies,eight episodes of transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and one episode of ablation were avoided,with an estimated cost-saving of US$91,000,$150,000 and$10,600 respectively.Had the PET-CT been performed only for patients with AFP≥400 ng/mL or bilobar disease(n=74),metastasis would have been confirmed in 14 patients(18.9%),and the cost-saving per patient was estimated at US$1,070.Conclusions:Dual-tracer PET-CT is cost-effective and useful for preoperative HCC staging in patients with AFP≥400 ng/mL or bilobar disease.Its routine use in preoperative workup for all HCC patients is not recommended.Unilobar disease with AFP<400 ng/mL can achieve good negative predictive value for PET-detected metastasis.Screening patients with either factor can avoid unnecessary procedures and is thus cost-effective for preoperative HCC workup.Kevin K.W.Chu Albert C.Y.Chan Ka Wing Ma Wong Hoi She Wing Chiu Dai Kenneth S.H.Chok Tan To Cheung Chung Mau Lo 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,3:2
