1Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 2Numerical study on the influence of initial ambient temperature on the aerodynamic heating in the tube train system显示文摘The evacuated tube transportation has great potential in the future because of its advantages of energy saving and environmental protection.The train runs in the closed tube at ultra-high speed.The heat quantity generated by aerodynamic heating is not easy to spread to external environment and then accumulates in the tube,inducing the ambient temperature in the tube to rise gradually.In this paper,a three-dimensional geometric model and the Shear Stress Transport(SST)κ-ωturbulence model are used to study the influence of initial ambient temperature on the structure of the flow field in the tube.Simulation results show that when the train runs at transonic speed,the supersonic flow region with low temperature and low-pressure is produced in the wake.The structure of the flow field of the wake will change with the initial ambient temperature.And the higher the initial ambient temperature is,the shorter the low temperature region in the wake will be.The larger temperature difference caused by the low temperature region may increase the temperature stress of the tube and affect the equipment inside the tube.Consequently,the temperature inside the tube can be maintained at a reasonable value to reduce the influence of the low temperature region in the wake on the system.Shijie Bao Xiao Hu Jukun Wang Tianhao Ma Yingyu Rao Zigang Deng 2020Advances in Aerodynamics2020,2,1:9
3Microsatellite polymorphisms of Sichuan golden monkeys显示文摘Previous study using protein electrophoresis shows no polymorphism in 44 nuclear loci of Sichuan golden monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana), which limits our understandings of its population genetic patterns in the nuclear genome. In order to obtain sufficient information, we scanned 14 microsatellite loci in a sample of 32 individuals from its three major habitats (Minshan, Qinling and Shen-nongjia). A considerable amount of polymorphisms were detected. The average heterozygosities in the local populations were all above 0.5. The differentiations among local populations were significant. There was evidence of geneflow among subpopulations, but geneflow between Qinling and Shennongjia local populations was the weakest. Minshan and Qinling populations might have gone through recent bottlenecks. The estimation of the ratio of the effective population sizes among local populations was close to that from census sizes. Comparisons to available mitochondria data suggested that R. roxellana’s social structures played an important role in shaping its population genetic patterns. 4Combination of graphene oxide and platelet-rich plasma improves tendon-bone healing in a rabbit model of supraspinatus tendon reconstruction显示文摘The treatment of rotator cuff tear is one of the major challenges for orthopedic surgeons.The key to treatment is the reconstruction of the tendon-bone interface(TBI).Autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)is used as a therapeutic agent to accelerate the healing of tendons,as it contains a variety of growth factors and is easy to prepare.Graphene oxide(GO)is known to improve the physical properties of biomaterials and promote tissue repair.In this study,PRP gels containing various concentrations of GO were prepared to promote TBI healing and supraspinatus tendon reconstruction in a rabbit model.The incorporation of GO improved the ultrastructure and mechanical properties of the PRP gels.The gels containing 0.5 mg/ml GO(0.5 GO/PRP)continuously released transforming growth factor-b1(TGF-b1)and platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)-AB,and the released TGF-b1 and PDGF-AB were still at high concentrations,1063.451 pg/ml and814.217 pg/ml,respectively,on the 14th day.In vitro assays showed that the 0.5 GO/PRP gels had good biocompatibility and promoted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells proliferation and osteogenic and chondrogenic differentiation.After 12 weeks of implantation,the magnetic resonance imaging,microcomputed tomography and histological results indicated that the newly regenerated tendons in the 0.5 GO/PRP group had a similar structure to natural tendons.Moreover,the biomechanical results showed that the newly formed tendons in the 0.5 GO/PRP group had better biomechanical properties compared to those in the other groups,and had more stable TBI tissue.Therefore,the combination of PRP and GO has the potential to be a powerful advancement in the treatment of rotator cuff injuries.Dingsu Bao Jiacheng Sun Min Gong Jie Shi Bo Qin Kai Deng Gang Liu Shengqiang Zeng Zhou Xiang Shijie Fu 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,6:4
5Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. 7Global patterns and changes of carbon emissions from land use during 1992e2015显示文摘Carbon emissions from land use(ELUC)are an important part of anthropogenic CO_(2) emissions,but its size and location remain uncertain,and our knowledge of the relationship between ELUC and GDP remains partial.We showed that the carbon emissions directly caused by land use change(direct ELUC)during 1992-2015 was 26.54 Pg C(1.15 Pg C yr^(-1)),with a decreased trend and a net reduction rate of0.15 Pg C yr^(-1).The areas that exhibited reductions were concentrated in South America,Central Africa,and Southeast Asia,and those with increments were scattered in Northwestern North America,Eastern South America,Central Africa,East Asia,and parts of Southeast Asia.For the indirect carbon emissions from the utilization of built-up land(indirect ELUC),it manifested an upward trend with a total emission of 27.51 Pg C(1.2 Pg C yr^(-1)).The total value resulted by global ELUC was $136.3×10^(9) US,and the value of annual was equivalent to 3.7 times the GDP of the Central African Republic in 2015($5.93×10^(9) US yr^(-1)).Among the 79 countries and regions considered in this study,54 represented the upward GDP with increased emissions,and only 25 experienced GDP growth with emission reductions.These findings highlight the pivotal role of land use change in the carbon cycle and the significance of coordinated development between GDP and carbon emissions.Shiqi Tian Shijie Wang Xiaoyong Bai Guangjie Luo Qin Li Yujie Yang Zeyin Hu Chaojun Li Yuanhong Deng 2021Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2021,,3:2
8Embedded BCI Rehabilitation System for Stroke显示文摘In stroke rehabilitation,rehabilitation equipments can help with the training.But traditional equipments are not convenient to carry,which limits patients to use related rehabilitation techniques.To solve this kind of problem,a new embedded rehabilitation system based on brain computer interface(BCI)is proposed in this paper.The system is based on motor imagery(MI)therapy,in which electroencephalogram(EEG)is evoked by grasping motor imageries of left and right hands,then collected by a wearable device.The EEG is transmitted to a Raspberry Pie processing unit through Bluetooth and decoded as the instructions to control the equipment extension.Users experience the limb movement through the visual feedback so as to achieve active rehabilitation.A pilot study shows that the user can control the movement of the rehabilitation equipment through his mind,and the equipment is convenient to carry.The study provides a new way to stroke rehabilitation.Wanzeng Kong Siman Fu Bin Deng Hong Zeng Jianhai Zhang Shijie Guo 2019Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2019,28,1:2

10A Fast and Accurate LEO Satellite-Based Direct Position Determination Assisted by TDOA Measurements显示文摘This paper focuses on the trusted vessel position acquisition using passive localization based on the booming low-earth-orbit(LEO) satellites. As the high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) reception cannot always be guaranteed at LEO satellites, the recently developed direct position determination(DPD)is adopted. For LEO satellite-based passive localization systems, an efficient DPD is challenging due to the excessive exhaustive search range leading from broad satellite coverage. In order to reduce the computational complexity, we propose a time difference of arrival-assisted DPD(TA-DPD) which minimizes the searching area by the time difference of arrival measurements and their variances. In this way, the size of the searching area is determined by both geometrical constraints and qualities of received signals, and signals with higher SNRs can be positioned more efficiently as their searching areas are generally smaller.Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional passive localization simulations using the proposed TA-DPD are provided to demonstrate its efficiency and validity. The superior accuracy performance of the proposed method, especially at low SNRs conditions, is also verified through the comparison to conventional two-step methods. 11Trace water triggers high-efficiency photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide production显示文摘Photocatalytic production of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))has attracted much attentions as a promising method for sustainable solar fuel.Here,we demonstrate that trace water can drastically boost highefficiency photocatalytic production of H_(2)O_(2) with a record-high concentration of 113 mmol L^(-1) using alkali-assisted C_(3)N_(4) as photocatalyst in water/alcohol mixture solvents.By electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurement,the radical species generated during the photocatalytic process of H_(2)O_(2) are identified.We propose alcohol is used to provide and stabilize-OOH radicals through hydrogen bond,while trace water could trigger photocatalytic production of H_(2)O_(2) via providing and transferring indispensable free protons to completely consume OOH radicals,which breaks the reaction balance of-OOH radical generation from alcohol.Thus-OOH radicals could be supplied by alcohol continuously to serve as a reservoir for high-efficiency production of H_(2)O_(2).These results pave the way towards photocatalytic method on semiconductor catalysts as an outstanding approach for production of hydrogen peroxide.Zaixiang Xu Yang Li Yongyong Cao Renfeng Du Zhikang Bao Shijie Zhang Fangjun Shao Wenkai Ji jun Yang Guilin Zhuang Shengwei Deng Zhongzhe Wei Zihao Yao Xing Zhong Jianguo Wang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:1

20Development of covalent-organic frameworks derived hierarchical porous hollow carbon spheres based LiOH composites for thermochemical heat storage显示文摘Under the joint assistance of its excellent storage strength, accessible long storage lifespan, and high heat utilization efficiency, salt hydrate-based thermochemical heat storage(THS) materials give renewable energy an important outlet to alleviate the pressure of underutilization. Herein, an activated hollow spherical carbon(AHSC) with hierarchical porous architectures converted from covalent-organic frameworks(COFs) is constructed and utilized as the supporting matrix for Li OH.THS composite material for the first time. The obtained Li/AHSC_(3) composites have distinguished hydration performance while manifesting impressive storage ability up to 1916.4 k J kg^(-1)with low operating temperature stemming from the collective effect of the void spherical framework, multimodal porosity, and high surface area of AHSC3. And the Li/AHSC3-40 composite with evidently progressed thermal conductivity is capable of realizing 94.5% heat preservation after twenty-five adsorption-desorption cycles, exhibiting its eminent cyclability and great heat transfer performance.
