| 1 | Predicting geological hazards during tunnel construction显示文摘The complicated geological conditions and geological hazards are challenging problems during tunnel construction,which will cause great losses of life and property.Therefore,reliable prediction of geological defective features,such as faults,karst caves and groundwater,has important practical significances and theoretical values.In this paper,we presented the criteria for detecting typical geological anomalies using the tunnel seismic prediction(TSP) method.The ground penetrating radar(GPR) signal response to water-bearing structures was used for theoretical derivations.And the 3D tomography of the transient electromagnetic method(TEM) was used to develop an equivalent conductance method.Based on the improvement of a single prediction technique,we developed a technical system for reliable prediction of geological defective features by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of all prediction methods.The procedure of the application of this system was introduced in detail.For prediction,the selection of prediction methods is an important and challenging work.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) was developed for prediction optimization.We applied the newly developed prediction system to several important projects in China,including Hurongxi highway,Jinping II hydropower station,and Kiaochow Bay subsea tunnel.The case studies show that the geological defective features can be successfully detected with good precision and efficiency,and the prediction system is proved to be an effective means to minimize the risks of geological hazards during tunnel construction. | Shucai Li Shuchen Li Qingsong Zhang Yiguo Xue Bin Liu Maoxin Su Zhechao Wang Shugang Wang | 2010 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2010,2,3: | 25 |

| 5 | A first-principles study of helium diffusion in quartz and coesite under high pressure up to 12GPa显示文摘Helium diffusion in mantle minerals is crucial for understanding mantle structure and the dynamic processes of Earth's degassing.In this paper,we report helium incorporation and the mechanism of its diffusion in perfect crystals of quartz and coesite.The diffusion pathways,activation energies(Ea),and frequency factors of helium under ambient and high pressure conditions were calculated using Density Functional Theory(DFT)and the climbing image nudged elastic band(CI-NEB)method.The calculated diffusive coefficients of He in the quartz in different orientations are:D[100]=1.24×10^(−6)exp.(−26.83 kJ/mol/RT)m^(2)/s D[010]=1.11×10^(−6)exp.(−31.60 kJ/mol/RT)m^(2)/s.and in the coesite:D[100]=3.00×10^(−7)exp.(−33.79 kJ/mol/RT)m^(2)/s D[001]=2.21×10^(−6)exp.(−18.33 kJ/mol/RT)m^(2)/s.The calculated results indicate that diffusivity of helium is anisotropic in both quartz and coesite and that the degree of anisotropy is much more pronounced in coesite.Helium diffusion behavior in coesite under high pressures was investigated.The activation energies increased with pressure:Ea[100]increased from 33.79 kJ/mol to 58.36 kJ/mol,and Ea[001]increased from 18.33 kJ/mol to 48.87 kJ/mol as pressure increased from0 GPa to 12 GPa.Our calculations showed that helium is not be quantitatively retained in silica at typical surface temperatures on Earth,which is consistent with the findings from previous studies.These results have implications for discussion of the Earth's mantle evolution and for recognition thermal histories of ultra-high pressure(UHP)metamorphic terranes. | Hong Liu Lingling Wang Shuchen Li Yaochun Yang Hua Tian Fengxia Sun Chaowen Xu Lei Liu Yi Li Yueju Cui Ying Li Jijun Zhao | 2021 | Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2: | 1 |

| 7 | Fusarium-produced vitamin B6 promotes the evasion of soybean resistance by Phytophthora sojae显示文摘Plants can be infected by multiple pathogens concurrently in natural systems. However,pathogen–pathogen interactions have rarely been studied. In addition to the oomycete Phytophthora sojae, fungi such as Fusarium spp. also cause soybean root rot. In a 3-year field investigation, we discovered that P. sojae and Fusarium spp. frequently coexisted in diseased soybean roots. Out of 336 P. sojae–soybean–Fusarium combinations,more than 80% aggravated disease. Different Fusarium species all enhanced P. sojae infection when co-inoculated on soybean. Treatment with Fusarium secreted non-proteinaceous metabolites had an effect equal to the direct pathogen coinoculation. By screening a Fusarium graminearum mutant library, we identified Fusarium promoting factor of Phytophthora sojae infection 1(Fpp1),encoding a zinc alcohol dehydrogenase. Fpp1 is functionally conserved in Fusarium and contributes to metabolite-mediated infection promotion, in which vitamin B6(VB6) produced by Fusarium is key. Transcriptional and functional analyses revealed that Fpp1 regulates two VB6 metabolism genes, and VB6 suppresses expression of soybean disease resistance-related genes. | 11 | Pre-expanded Muscle-sparing Latissimus Dorsi Flaps for Reconstruction of Severe Scar Contractures on the Anterior Chest显示文摘Objective To investigate the utility of pre-expanded muscle-sparing latissimus dorsi flaps in the reconstruction of deformities secondary to severe scar contractures on the anterior chest.Methods The function of the latissimus dorsi was preserved with blood supply from the main or lateral branch of the thoracodorsal artery.The entire treatment period was divided into two stages,during which segmental latissimus dorsi flaps were pre-expanded in stage I and anterior chest scar deformities were reconstructed in stage II.During stage I,the musculocutaneous perforators arising from the lateral branch of the thoracodorsal artery were determined by ultrasound preoperatively;the flap design included the anterior segment of the latissimus dorsi supplied by the musculocutaneous perforators from the lateral branch;and a tissue expander was placed following flap dissection and then infused with saline intermittently for 4–6 months.In stage II,the chest scars were excised,and breast tissues were repositioned;the continuity of the medial branch of the thoracodorsal nerve to the muscle was preserved when reconstruction was performed using the segmental latissimus dorsi flaps supplied by the main or lateral branch of the thoracodorsal artery.Results From October 2010 to October 2019,21 patients(on 24 sides)underwent reconstructive procedures for extensive scar contractures on the anterior chest.All flaps survived,and their donor sites were sutured directly.During a follow-up of 3 months to 8 years,the flaps became soft and exhibited color similar to that of the adjacent tissues.The limited neck and shoulder movements improved,and postoperatively,all female patients were satisfied with the shape of their breasts.Additionally,neither apparent weakening on the adduction,internal rotation,or extension strength of the shoulder joint on the affected side nor marked depression deformity in the back was observed.Conclusion Pre-expanded muscle-sparing latissimus dorsi flaps with blood supply from the main or lateral branch of the thoracodorsal artery proved to be a desirable option for the reconstruction of extensive scar contractures on the anterior chest. | Zhichao WANG Dujuan LIU Shuchen GU Baoxiang TIAN Tao ZAN Bin GU | 2020 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2020,2,2: | 0 |

The interaction indices used to evaluate the interaction between the two solid combustibles present a complex nonlinear relationship in different stages. The Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose methods are used to calculate the activation energy of the blends, which increases with an increase in the oxygen concentration, in different atmospheres. | 14 | Imatinib blocks tyrosine phosphorylation of Smad4 and restores TGF-β growth-suppressive signaling in BCR-ABL1-positive leukemia显示文摘Loss of TGF-β-mediated growth suppression is a major contributor to the development of cancers,best exemplified by loss-offunction mutations in genes encoding components of the TGF-βsignaling pathway in colorectal and pancreatic cancers.Alternatively,gain-of-function oncogene mutations can also disrupt antiproliferative TGF-βsignaling.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying oncogene-induced modulation of TGF-βsignaling have not been extensively investigated.Here,we show that the oncogenic BCR-ABL1 of chronic myelogenous leukemia(CML)and the cellular ABL1 tyrosine kinases phosphorylate and inactivate Smad4 to block antiproliferative TGF-βsignaling.Mechanistically,phosphorylation of Smad4 at Tyr195,Tyr301,and Tyr322 in the linker region interferes with its binding to the transcription co-activator p300/CBP,thereby blocking the ability of Smad4 to activate the expression of cyclin-dependent kinase(CDK)inhibitors and induce cell cycle arrest.In contrast,the inhibition of BCR-ABL1 kinase with Imatinib prevented Smad4 tyrosine phosphorylation and re-sensitized CML cells to TGF-β-induced antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic responses.Furthermore,expression of phosphorylation-site-mutated Y195F/Y301F/Y322F mutant of Smad4 in Smad4-null CML cells enhanced antiproliferative responses to TGF-β,whereas the phosphorylation-mimicking Y195E/Y301E/Y322E mutant interfered with TGF-βsignaling and enhanced the in vivo growth of CML cells.These findings demonstrate the direct role of BCR-ABL1 tyrosine kinase in suppressing TGF-βsignaling in CML and explain how Imatinib-targeted therapy restored beneficial TGF-βanti-growth responses. | Lijing Wang Shuchen Gu Fenfang Chen Yi Yu Jin Cao Xinran Li Chun Gao Yanzhen Chen Shuchong Yuan Xia Liu Jun Qin Bin Zhao Pinglong Xu Tingbo Liang Hongyan Tong Xia Lin Xin-Hua Feng | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 0 |

| 16 | Prevalence and Severity of HBV-Associated Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure Due to Irregular Medication of Nucleos(t)ide Analogs显示文摘Hepatitis B virus(HBV)represents the commonest etiologic agent of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)in most Asian countries.Nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAs)are effective in the treatment of chronic HBV infections,but may also exacerbate the disease and stimulate its development into HBV-associated ACLF if not used appropriately.The current study aimed to assess the prevalence and severity of HBV-associated ACLF as a result from irregular medication of NAs(IMNA).A total of 1134 individuals with HBV-associated ACLF in nine hospitals in Heilongjiang Province were enrolled in this study between 2005 and 2015.Among these,777 chronic hepatitis B(CHB)and 357 HBV-associated liver cirrhosis cases were classified based on various predisposing factors,including IMNA,HBV reactivation(HBVR),infections,treatment drugs,alcohol use and others(hepatitis C virus,hepatitis E virus,gastrointestinal bleeding and unknown reasons).The percentage and improvement rate were examined.Among individuals with HBV-associated ACLF and CHB,IMNA was found in 9.01%,HBVR in 46.20%,infections in 9.52%,treatment drugs in 14.67%,alcohol in 11.71%,and others in 24.58%as predisposing factors.Improvement rates in cases with IMNA,HBVR,infections,treatment drugs,alcohol and others were 41.43%,58.50%,58.11%,56.14%,53.85%,and 65.97%,respectively.Multivariable analysis showed that IMNA,others,infections,hepatic encephalopathy and hepatorenal syndrome were associated with prognosis.Only IMNA independently predicted HBV-associated ACLF prognosis.Overall,our study demonstrated that the percentage of IMNAinduced HBV-associated ACLF was 12.61%,and worse disease conditions resulted from IMNA compared with other factors.Thus,the suitability of treatment with NAs should be thoroughly evaluated. | Ying Zheng Shu Chen Yanxin Huang Lisheng Jiang Yongguo Li Yinghua Lan Shuchen Li Yuqin Xu Xiaodong Li Hongwei Zhao Yanbo Wang Ying Shen Chao Wei Honglin Zhou Rongshan Fan Xiqiu Zeng Mingxia Jiang Shupeng Song Mingyan Xu | 2021 | Infectious Microbes & Diseases2021,3,4: | 0 |
| 17 | Hollow hydrangea-like nitrogen-doped NiO/Ni/carbon composites as lightweight and highly efficient electromagnetic wave absorbers显示文摘Hierarchical hollow-structured magnetic–dielectric materials are considered to be promising and competitive functional absorbers for microwave absorption(MA).Herein,a hierarchical hollow hydrangea multicomponent metal oxides/metal-carbon was designed and successfully produced via a facile self-assembly method and calcination process.Adequate magnetic NiO and Ni nanoparticles were suspended within the hollow hydrangea-like nitrogen-doped carbon matrix(HH N-NiO/Ni/C),constructing a unique hierarchical hollow structured multicomponent magnetic–dielectric MA composite.The annealing temperature and oxidation time were carefully regulated to investigate the complex permittivity and permeability.HH N-NiO/Ni/C delivers exceptional MA properties with maximum reflection loss of–45.8 dB at 1.7 mm thickness and displays a wide effective absorption frequency range of 5.6 GHz.The superior MA performance can be attributed to the following aspects:(1)The hierarchical hollow multicomponent structure offers plentiful of heterojunction interfaces triggering interfacial polarization;(2)nitrogen doped-carbon(N-C)facilitates the conductive loss by the unique electron migration path in the graphitized C and NiO/Ni;(3)magnetic NiO/Ni nanoparticles homogeneously dispersed within N-C form extensive C skeleton and strengthen the magnetic response ability;(4)hierarchical hollow wrinkled structures possess a large interspace and heterogeneous interface improving polarization loss and enhancing multireflection process and the unique structure satisfies magnetic and dielectric loss simultaneously resulting from synergistic effects of different components within the composites. | Jin Liang Chunwei Li Xin Cao Yuxiang Wang Zongcheng Li Benzheng Gao Zeyou Tong Bin Wang Shuchen Wan Jie Kong | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 0 |
