1Dispersal and recruitment limitation contribute differently to community assembly显示文摘Aims The neutral theory of biodiversity has been criticized for being fragile with even slight deviations from its basic assumption of equal fitness among species.In response to this criticism,Hubbell((2001)The Unified Neutral Theory of Biodiversity and Biogeography.Princeton,NJ:Princeton University Press)proposed that competitive exclusion can be infinitely delayed by dispersal and recruitment limitation,thus making species effectively neutral.But the theoretical foundation for this claim still remains unclear and controversial,and the effects of dispersal and recruitment limitation are often confounded,especially in field studies.This study aims to provide an affirmative theoretical answer to the question of whether dispersal limitation and recruitment limitation can separately or jointly overwhelm the effects of fitness differences among species and lead to neutral community dynamics.Methods Computer simulations were used to investigate the effects of dispersal and recruitment limitation on delaying competitive exclusion in a homogeneous habitat in a spatially explicit context.Important Findings We found that even a slight competitive asymmetry would require extremely strong dispersal and recruitment limitation for neutrality to emerge.Most importantly,when the effects of dispersal and recruitment limitation were set apart,it is found that recruitment limitation is more effective in delaying competitive exclusion,whereas dispersal limitation tends to have a stronger impact on the general shape of both species abundance distributions and species–area relationships.Zechen Peng Shurong Zhou Da-Yong Zhang 2012Journal of Plant Ecology2012,5,1:4
2Hydrothermal growth of hydroxyapatite and ZnO bilayered nanoarrays on magnesium alloy surface with antibacterial activities显示文摘Magnesium alloy(MgA)has been extensively used as orthopedic and cardiovascular scaffolds in virtue of its good biocompatibility,unique biodegradability and excellent mechanical properties.However,poor corrosion resistance and easy infection after implantation seriously limit the potential applications of MgA in the biomedical field.Herein,we fabricated bilayered nanoarrays of hydroxyapatite nanorods(HANRs)and ZnO nanorods(ZnONRs)onto the surface of MgA(MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs)via micro-arc oxidation(MAO)treatment,microwave-assisted hydrothermal and hydrothermal methods.The morphology and chemical composition of MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs was characterized by FE-SEM,XRD and EDS,indicating that HANRs-ZnONRs bilayered nanoarrays were fabricated on the surface of MgA-MgO.The surface of MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs exhibited excellent hydrophilicity as evidenced by the low water contact angle of 3°.Compared with the original MgA,the corrosion resistance of MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs was obviously improved with decreasing the corrosive current density(icorr)of 2 orders of magnitude.The MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs performed excellent antibacterial properties with the bactericidal rate of 96.5%against S.aureus and 94.3%against E.coli.Mengke Peng Fenyan Hu Minting Du Bingjie Mai Shurong Zheng Peng Liu Changhao Wang Yashao Chen 2020Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,1:3

7Novel method for the evaluation of data quality based on fuzzy control显示文摘One of the goals of data collection is preparing for decision-making, so high quality requirement must be satisfied. Rational evaluation of data quality is an effective way to identify data problem in time, and the quality of data after this evaluation is satisfactory with the requirement of decision maker. A fuzzy neural network based research method of data quality evaluation is proposed. First, the criteria for the evaluation of data quality are selected to construct the fuzzy sets of evaluating grades, and then by using the learning ability of NN, the objective evaluation of membership is carried out, which can be used for the effective evaluation of data quality. This research has been used in the platform of 'data report of national compulsory education outlay guarantee' from the Chinese Ministry of Education. 9Exogenous and endogenous determinants of spatial aggregation patterns in tibetan Plateau meadow vegetation显示文摘Aims We aim to quantify the relative importance of various endogenous and exogenous processes influencing the spatial distribution of the individuals of plant species at different temporal and spatial scales in a species-rich and high-cover meadow in the eastern tibetan Plateau.Methods We calculated green’s index of dispersion to infer the spatial dis-tribution patterns of 73 herbaceous species at two scales(0.25 and 1.0 m2).We constructed a series of generalized linear models to test the hypotheses that different species traits such as mean plant stem density,per capita dry biomass,maximum plant height and mean seed mass contribute to their spatial distribution.We used the first principal component of soil C,N and P to explain abundance vari-ation across quadrats and sub-plots.Important Findingsthe individuals of the species studied were highly spatially aggregated.at both spatial scales,biomass and stem density explained the most variation in aggregation,but there was no evidence for an effect of mean seed mass on aggregation intensity.the effects of soil carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus at different depths affected plant abundance mostly at the broader spatial scale.our results demonstrate that self-thinning and habitat heterogeneity all contribute to determine the spatial aggregation patterns of plant individuals in alpine meadow vegetation in the eastern tibetan Plateau.Jiajia Liu Deyan Wu Xiaoyu Peng Shurong Zhou Corey J.A.Bradshaw 2013Journal of Plant Ecology2013,6,4:0
10CREB1 contributes colorectal cancer cell plasticity by regulating lnc RNA CCAT1 and NF-κB pathways显示文摘The CREB1 gene encodes an exceptionally pleiotropic transcription factor that frequently dysregulated in human cancers.CREB1 can regulate tumor cell status of proliferation and/or migration;however,the molecular basis for this switch involvement in cell plasticity has not fully been understood yet.Here,we first show that knocking out CREB1 triggers a remarkable effect of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)and leads to the occurrence of inhibited proliferation and enhanced motility in HCT116colorectal cancer cells.By monitoring 45 cellular signaling pathway activities,we find that multiple growth-related pathways decline significantly while inflammatory pathways including NF-κB are largely upregulated in comparing between the CREB1wild-type and knocked out cells.Mechanistically,cells with CREB1 knocked out show downregulation of MYC as a result of impaired CREB1-dependent transcription of the oncogenic lnc RNA CCAT1.Interestingly,the unbalanced competition between the coactivator CBP/p300 for CREB1 and p65 leads to the activation of the NF-κB pathway in cells with CREB1 disrupted,which induces an obvious EMT phenotype of the cancer cells.Taken together,these studies identify previously unknown mechanisms of CREB1 in CRC cell plasticity via regulating lnc RNA CCAT1 and NF-κB pathways,providing a critical insight into a combined strategy for CREB1-targeted tumor therapies.Bin Li Lisi Zheng Jiayi Ye Chenmin Zhang Jie Zhou Qiaojuan Huang Yanhua Guo Luqin Wang Peng Yu Shurong Liu Qiao Lin Yuxia Luo Hui Zhou Jianhua Yang Lianghu Qu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,8:0

12Wind Power Probability Density Prediction Based on Quantile Regression Model of Dilated Causal Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘Aiming at the wind power prediction problem,a wind power probability prediction method based on the quantile regression of a dilated causal convolutional neural network is proposed.With the developed model,the Adam stochastic gradient descent technique is utilized to solve the cavity parameters of the causal convolutional neural network under different quantile conditions and obtain the probability density distribution of wind power at various times within the following 200 hours.The presented method can obtain more useful information than conventional point and interval predictions.Moreover,a prediction of the future complete probability distribution of wind power can be realized.According to the actual data forecast of wind power in the PJM network in the United States,the proposed probability density prediction approach can not only obtain more accurate point prediction results,it also obtains the complete probability density curve prediction results for wind power.Compared with two other quantile regression methods,the developed technique can achieve a higher accuracy and smaller prediction interval range under the same confidence level.Yunhao Yang Heng Zhang Shurong Peng Sheng Su Bin Li 2023Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2023,9,1:0
13Preparation of porous α-Fe_2O_3-supported Pt and its sensing performance to volatile organic compounds显示文摘Porous α-Fe2O3 was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal treatment of FeCl3 aqueous solution followed by a calcination process. In the synthesis of porous α-Fe2O3, no templates or pore-directing agents were used. The as-prepared porous α-Fe2O3 was further employed as a support for loading Pt nanoparticles. The gas sensing performance of the obtained porous α-Fe2O3-supported Pt to VOCs was investigated. The sensor presented a high response and fast response-recovery characteristic to several VOCs including acetone, ether, methanol, ethanol, butanol and hexanol. Meanwhile, it exhibited a much higher response than the pure α-Fe2O3 at the operating temperature of 260°C. 15Spatial-temporal Dynamic Forecasting of EVs Charging Load Based on DCC-2D显示文摘The charging load of electric vehicles(EVs)has a strong spatiotemporal randomness.Predicting the dynamic spatiotemporal distribution of the charging load of EVs is of great significance for the grid to cope with the access of large-scale EVs.Existing studies lack a prediction model that can accurately describe the dual dynamic changes of EVs charging the load time and space.Therefore,a spatial-temporal dynamic load forecasting model,dilated causal convolution-2D neural network(DCC-2D),is proposed.First,a hole factor is added to the time dimension of the three-dimensional convolutional convolution kernel to form a two-dimensional hole convolution layer so that the model can learn the spatial dimension information.The entire network is then formed by stacking the layers,ensuring that the network can accept long-term historical input,enabling the model to learn time dimension information.The model is simulated with the actual data of the charging pile load in a certain area and compared with the ConvLSTM model.The results prove the validity of the proposed prediction model.Shurong Peng Heng Zhang Yunhao Yang Bin Li Sheng Su Shijun Huang Guodong Zheng 2022Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2022,8,1:0
