3The First Two Imported Cases of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron Variant—Tianjin Municipality,China,December 13,2021显示文摘On December 9,2021,2 international passengers arrived in Tianjin Binhai International Airport from Warsaw,Poland via airplane and tested positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),which causes coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),using nucleic acid tests.The first case(Patient A)was a flight crew member,a 35-year-old male,who had returned to Warsaw on the same flight on December 10,2021.The second case(Patient B)was a 17-year-old female student,who has been transferred to Haihe Hospital for isolation.Both cases are Polish nationality that had recently lived in Warsaw,Poland.According to the investigation,neither patient had disease symptoms nor medication history.Patient B received the Pfizer/BNT162b2 vaccine on September 27,2021.Patient A was vaccinated on May 25,2021,but no further vaccine information was collected as Patient A had left China.No other infections from this flight have been detected.Zhaolin Tan Zhixiao Chen Aiping Yu Xiaoyan Li Yenan Feng Xiang Zhao Wenbo Xu Xu Su 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,4:5
4Novel wavelet neural network algorithm for continuous and noninvasive dynamic estimation of blood pressure from photoplethysmography显示文摘This paper proposes a novel wavelet neural network algorithm for the continuous and noninvasive dynamic estimation of blood pressure(BP). Unlike prior algorithms, the proposed algorithm capitalizes on the correlation between photoplethysmography(PPG) and BP. Complete BP waveforms are reconstructed based on PPG signals to extract systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP). To improve the robustness, Daubechies wavelet is implemented as the hidden layer node function for the neural network. An optimized neural network structure is proposed to reduce the computational complexity. Further, this paper investigates an inhomogeneous resilient backpropagation(IRBP) algorithm to calculate the weight of hidden layer nodes. The IRBP improves the convergence speed and reconstruction accuracy. Multiparameter intelligent monitoring in Intensive Care(MIMIC) databases, which contain a variety of physiological parameters captured from patient monitors, are used to validate this algorithm. The standard deviation σ between reconstructed and actual BP signals is 4.4797 mm Hg, which satisfies the American National Standards of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. 5Simulation of micro-behaviors including nucleation,growth,and aggregation in particle system显示文摘A new method for the solution of population balance equations(PBE) describing the micro-processes such as nucleation,growth,aggregation of particle swarms in a multiphase system is proposed.The method is based on the fixed pivot moment and allows arbitrary number of moments to be tracked si-multaneously.By expressing PBEs for both batch and continuous operations in a general form,and using weighted residual method to derive the moment equations,different moments can be tracked directly.The numerical density function is assumed to be a summation of several weighted Dirac Delta functions,and the integral and derivative terms in PBEs are transformed to a summation in order to reduce computational cost.Simulations of a batch nucleation-growth process and a continuous ag-gregation-growth process have demonstrated good agreement with the corresponding analytical solu-tions,with relative errors less than 108%.Simulation of a combined nucleation-growth-aggregation process,which does not have an analytical solution,is also included,so as to reproduce the mi-cro-behaviors of such a complex system,demonstrating the feasibility and reliability of this method.GU ZhaoLin SU JunWei JIAO JianYing XU X Yun 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,2:4
6The Biocontrol Effects of the Bacillus licheniformis W10 Strain and Its Antifungal Protein Against Brown Rot in Peach显示文摘The biocontrol effects of Bacillus licheniformis W10 bacterial suspension and its antifungal protein on peach brown rot caused by Monilinia fructicola in storage peach fruits and the effects on fruit quality were investigated. The results showed that the fruit disease suppression of B. licheniformis W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein were significantly higher than that of the control. Inoculation of bacterial suspension and antifungal protein prior to M. fructicola gave a better biocontrol effect, and the higher concentrations of bacterial(1 × 1010 cfu · m L-1) and antifungal protein(3.0 mg · m L-1) performed better control effects. The environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, affected biocontrol effects of W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein. The influence of environment conditions on the activity of antifungal protein was less than that on bacterial suspension. Moreover, lower temperature(4 ℃) and relative humidity(RH 70%–75%) were favorable to prevent peach brown rot by W10 bacterial suspension and its antifungal protein. The W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein amended with calcium [0.1% Ca(NO3)2] could enhance the biocontrol effects, and obviously put off the occurrence of peach brown rot. In addition, the bacterial suspension and antifungal protein significantly reduced the natural decay rates of peach fruits during storage, and the effects were equal to carbendazim. Moreover, both W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein treatments did not have effects on external and internal fruit appearance, such as chromatic aberration parameter L* of flesh, flesh firmness, soluble solids content and weight loss. 8Norm estimates of w-circulant operator matrices and isomorphic operators for w-circulant algebra显示文摘An n × n ω-circulant matrix which has a specific structure is a type of important matrix. Several norm equalities and inequalities are proved for ω-circulant operator matrices with ω = e^(iθ)(0≤θ < 2π) in this paper. We give the special cases for norm equalities and inequalities, such as the usual operator norm and the Schatten p-norms. Pinching type inequality is also proposed for weakly unitarily invariant norms. Meanwhile,we present that the set of ω-circulant matrices with complex entries has an idempotent basis. Based on this basis, we introduce an automorphism on the ω-circulant algebra and then show different operators on linear vector space that are isomorphic to the ω-circulant algebra. The function properties, other idempotent bases and a linear involution are discussed for ω-circulant algebra. 10Novel method for the evaluation of data quality based on fuzzy control显示文摘One of the goals of data collection is preparing for decision-making, so high quality requirement must be satisfied. Rational evaluation of data quality is an effective way to identify data problem in time, and the quality of data after this evaluation is satisfactory with the requirement of decision maker. A fuzzy neural network based research method of data quality evaluation is proposed. First, the criteria for the evaluation of data quality are selected to construct the fuzzy sets of evaluating grades, and then by using the learning ability of NN, the objective evaluation of membership is carried out, which can be used for the effective evaluation of data quality. This research has been used in the platform of 'data report of national compulsory education outlay guarantee' from the Chinese Ministry of Education. 16An effector of Erysiphe necator translocates to chloroplasts and plasma membrane to suppress host immunity in grapevine显示文摘The powdery mildew(Erysiphe necator)is a prevalent pathogen hampering grapevine growth in the vineyard.An arsenal of candidate secreted effector proteins(CSEPs)was encoded in the E.necator genome,but it is largely unclear what role CSEPs plays during the E.necator infection.In the present study,we identified a secreted effector CSEP080 of E.necator,which was located in plant chloroplasts and plasma membrane.Transient expressing CSEP080 promotes plant photosynthesis and inhibits INF1-induced cell death in tobacco leaves.We found that CSEP080 was a necessary effector for the E.necator pathogenicity,which interacted with grapevine chloroplast protein VviB6f(cytochrome b6-f complex iron–sulfur subunit),affecting plant photosynthesis.Transient silencing VviB6f increased the plant hydrogen peroxide production,and the plant resistance to powdery mildew.In addition,CSEP080 manipulated the VviPE(pectinesterase)to promote pectin degradation.Our results demonstrated the molecular mechanisms that an effector of E.necator translocates to host chloroplasts and plasma membrane,which suppresses with the grapevine immunity system by targeting the chloroplast protein VviB6f to suppress hydrogen peroxide accumulation and manipulating VviPE to promote pectin degradation.Bo Mu Zhaolin Teng Ruixin Tang Mengjiao Lu Jinfu Chen Xiangnan Xu Ying-Qiang Wen 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,9:0
17High precision intelligent flexible grasping front-end with CMOS interface for robots application显示文摘This paper presents a high-precision intelligent flexible robot grasping front-end with an integrated capacitive tactile sensor array and a conditioning chip. The capacitive tactile sensor is the primary part of the front-end, it determines the overall performance. The micro-needle array sandwich structure in the tactile sensor increases the repeatability and stability, and ensures the sensitivity. The assembled sensor exhibits a saturation at 10.53 N(421 k Pa) with a sensitivity of 1.9%/k Pa. Furthermore, a conditioning chip is utilized in a custom readout interface to achieve better performance by reducing signal attenuation, and to increase the compatibility of the front-end. The chip is optimized for the parasitic shunt capacitance in the capacitor array. A dual bidirectional charge-discharge conversion method and a two-port detection method are matched to achieve the goal of reducing the shunting influence, and attenuating the offset voltage or the noise input effects. A prototype of the interface has been fabricated using 180-nm CMOS technology. 18Simultaneously transmitting and reflecting(STAR)RISs for 6G:fundamentals,recent advances,and future directions显示文摘Simultaneously transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(STAR-RISs)have been attracting significant attention in both academia and industry for their advantages of achieving 360°coverage and enhanced degrees-of-freedom.This article first identifies the fundamentals of STAR-RIS,by discussing the hardware models,channel models,and signal models.Then,three representative categorizing approaches for STAR-RISs are introduced from the phase-shift,directional,and energy consumption perspectives.Furthermore,the beamforming design of STAR-RISs is investigated for both independent and coupled phase-shift cases.As a recent advance,a general optimization framework,which has high compatibility and provable optimality regardless of the application scenarios,is proposed.As a further advance,several promising applications are discussed to demonstrate the potential benefits of applying STAR-RISs in sixth-generation wireless communication.Lastly,a few future directions and research opportunities are highlighted.Yuanwei LIU Jiaqi XU Zhaolin WANG Xidong MU Jianhua ZHANG Ping ZHANG 2023Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,12:0
19Progress at NTSC towards an optical lattice for a strontium clock显示文摘We report on studies of an optical lattice for a strontium clock performed at the National Time Service Center. Follow-ing tw o-stage laser cooling and trapping,88 Sr cold atoms w ith population of 105 and a longitudinal temperature of 8. 4 μK are loaded into a one-dimensional optical lattice. Spectroscopic analysis of the1S0-3P0 transition gives a linew idth of 180 Hz measured using magnetic field-induction,w hich mixes the3P1 state w ith the3P0 state. Rabi oscillations are observed. Because of the inhomogeneous excitation among the atoms,the Rabi π-pulse excitation at 5 ms show s a near 65% excitation of atoms. The transverse velocity distribution of the atomic beam and the absolute frequencies of the four inter-combination transitions of the isotopes w as measured precisely using velocity-selective fluorescence spectroscopy. By optical injection of tw o cascade external-cavity diode lasers,a single comb line at 689 nm from an optical femtosecond laser comb is filtered and amplified w ith a 37-d B side-mode suppression and a linew idth of less than 240 Hz. We describe recent w ork on a space optical clock concerning the physical vacuum system,thermal analysis,and a permanent-magnet Zeeman slow er for a space strontium optical clock. The first six mode frequencies are obtained and the corresponding oscillation modes are described in detail. We also simulate and analyze thermal profiles for both the physical and optical units installed in the cooling system. When the injected cooling w ater has a temperature of 21℃ or28℃,the units meet operational requirements for temperatures in a space environment.
